Claims (11)
- 波長250~280nmの励起光を可視光に変換するために使用される波長変換部材であって、
ガラスマトリクスと前記ガラスマトリクス中に分散してなる蛍光体を含有し、
前記ガラスマトリクスが、モル%で、SiO 2 30~62.5%、B 2 O 3 1~7%、Al 2 O 3 1.5~10%、Li 2 O+Na 2 O+K 2 O 0~7%、MgO+CaO+SrO+BaO 0~30%を含有することを特徴とする波長変換部材。 - 波長250~280nmの励起光を可視光に変換するために使用される波長変換部材であって、
ガラスマトリクスと前記ガラスマトリクス中に分散してなる蛍光体を含有し、
前記ガラスマトリクスが、モル%で、SiO 2 30~70%、B 2 O 3 1~7%、Al 2 O 3 1.5~8%、Li 2 O+Na 2 O+K 2 O 0~7%、MgO+CaO+SrO+BaO 0~30%を含有することを特徴とする波長変換部材。 - 波長250~280nmにおける厚み1mmでの前記ガラスマトリクスの全光線透過率が0.1~30%であることを特徴とする請求項1または2に波長変換部材。
- 前記ガラスマトリクスが、モル%で、CeO2 0.001~10%を含有することを特徴とする請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の波長変換部材。
- 前記蛍光体がガーネット系蛍光体であることを特徴とする請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載の波長変換部材。
- 前記蛍光体がLu3Al5O12:Ceであることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の波長変換部材。
- 前記蛍光体の含有量が0.01~70体積%であることを特徴とする請求項1~6のいずれか一項に記載の波長変換部材。
- 前記ガラスマトリクスの原料であるガラス粉末と、前記蛍光体とを含有する焼結体からなることを特徴とする請求項1~7のいずれか一項に記載の波長変換部材。
- 請求項1~8のいずれか一項に記載の波長変換部材、及び、前記波長変換部材に波長250~280nmの励起光を照射する光源を備えることを特徴とする発光デバイス。
- 前記波長変換部材から発せられる出射光のスペクトルにおいて、前記励起光に由来するピーク強度I1、及び、前記蛍光体から発せられる蛍光に由来するピーク強度I2が、0≦I1/I2≦0.2の関係を満たすことを特徴とする請求項9に記載の発光デバイス。
- I1/I2=0であることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の発光デバイス。
