Description

The present invention relates to an information processing device, an information processing method, and a program.

There is a known system in which national and local governments issue pensions and welfare benefits to be paid to recipients as local digital currency, which can then be used for electronic payments (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

To receive such regional digital currency, users must specify a receiving method and verify their identity. However, if the amount of regional digital currency provided is not large enough, the complicated procedures may lead users to avoid receiving regional digital currency, resulting in a decrease in the frequency with which regional digital currency is used.

The present invention has been made in consideration of these points, and aims to enable users to receive local digital currency through simple procedures.

The information processing device of the first aspect of the present invention is an information processing device that controls the distribution of a specific asset that is electronically managed, and includes a receiving unit that receives a transfer request that includes user identification information of a user making a payment, a payment amount, and store identification information that identifies a store where the user makes the payment. A first determination unit that determines whether the specific asset can be used for a payment corresponding to the transfer request based on the store identification information included in the transfer request. If the first determination unit determines that the specific asset can be used for the payment, a second determination unit that determines whether the specific asset can be granted to the user based on information of the user that corresponds to the user identification information included in the transfer request in user ledger information. If the second determination unit determines that the specific asset can be granted to the user, an granting unit that transfers at least a portion of the specific asset equivalent to a specific amount from an account of an organization that issues the specific asset. If the second determination unit determines that the specific asset can be granted to the user, a payment processing unit that transfers the specific asset corresponding to an amount equivalent to the payment amount to an account of a store that is the other party to the payment.

When the second determination unit determines that the specified assets can be granted to the user, the payment processing unit may transfer the specified assets corresponding to the amount of the payment from the organization's account to the account of the store that is the other party to the payment, out of the specified assets equivalent to a specified amount.

When the second determination unit determines that the specified assets can be granted to the user, the granting unit may transfer the specified assets, which is equivalent to an amount obtained by deducting an amount equivalent to the settlement amount from a specified amount, from the organization's account to the user's account.

The first determination unit may determine that the specified assets can be used for payment corresponding to the transfer request when the store indicated by the store identification information is a specified store designated as a store where the specified assets can be used.

The information processing system S is a system for managing and circulating crypto assets and conducting transactions using crypto assets. The information processing system S includes an information processing device 1, a payment server 2, an information terminal 3, and a store terminal 4.

The information processing device 1 is a computer for managing information related to crypto assets. Crypto assets can be used for payment, etc., and are electronic assets that are different from legal tender (Japanese yen, US dollars, etc.). Crypto assets can be converted into a specified currency at a specified conversion rate. Crypto assets are associated with a user who holds the crypto assets, for example in a storage device, and are transferred from a customer user to a store user when used for payment.

Crypto assets are, for example, electronic assets managed by a blockchain. Crypto assets are not limited to blockchains and may be electronic assets managed by databases, etc.

In this embodiment, the cryptocurrency is, for example, a regional digital currency that can be used in a specific region. The regions in which the regional digital currency can be used are electronically managed by the information processing device 1. The information processing device 1 manages the crypto assets held by each user in a crypto asset account associated with that user. The payment server 2 is a computer for making payment using crypto assets. For example, in response to receiving a transfer request from an information terminal 3 used by a user, the payment server 2 transmits a transfer request to the information processing device 1 to transfer crypto assets corresponding to the amount of the payment target.

The information terminal 3 is a computer used by a user. The user trades goods and services using crypto assets. The following description is based on the assumption that the cryptocurrency is a regional digital currency, but the embodiment of the present invention is not limited to this.

Meanwhile, with the aim of revitalizing regional economic activity, a country, local government, organization, company, etc., and an entity that issues, manages, etc. a regional currency (hereinafter referred to as an issuer, etc.) may grant the regional digital currency to users and stores as a subsidy or grant, encouraging users and stores to use the regional digital currency. The following describes the process flow in the information processing system S, in which payment is used as a trigger to grant crypto assets to a user and complete the payment. The information terminal 3 sends a payment request to the payment server 2 ((1) in FIG. 1). The payment request is a message requesting payment from the payment server 2. The payment request includes the user identification information (also called user ID (identification)) of the user making the payment, store identification information (also called store ID) that identifies the store that is the other party to the payment, and the payment amount. The payment request may also include information indicating the product, service, etc. that is the subject of the transaction.

The payment server 2 sends a transfer request to the information processing device 1 ((2) in FIG. 1). The transfer request is a message requesting the transfer of local digital currency. The transfer request includes the user ID of the user making the payment, the store ID of the other party to the payment, and the payment amount. The transfer request may also include information indicating the goods, services, etc. to be traded.

The information processing device 1 determines whether the regional digital currency can be used ((3) in FIG. 1). The memory unit 12 stores user ledger information that associates a user ID with the address of a user corresponding to the user ID. FIG. 3 is a diagram showing an example of the data structure of the user ledger information stored in the memory unit 12. In the user ledger information shown in FIG. 3, a "user ID", an "allocated flag", and "resident information" are associated with each other. The "user ID" is an ID that is assigned by a business providing a payment service to identify a user. The "allocated flag" is information indicating whether a specific asset has been assigned to a user corresponding to the user ID. The "resident information" includes "personal identification information", "name", "address", and "date of birth". The "personal identification information" is an ID that is assigned to uniquely identify a resident of a local government, such as a personal number.

The user register information shown in FIG. 3 may be information that associates "resident information" obtained by linking with a server that manages the resident basic register with a user ID.

The user register information may be, for example, information that associates a user ID with the address of a user whose identity has been confirmed based on an identification card (e.g., a customer management database of a telecommunications carrier, etc.).

The control unit 13 is a processor such as a CPU (Central Processing Unit). The control unit 13 executes the programs stored in the storage unit 12, thereby functioning as a receiving unit 131, a first determination unit 132, a second determination unit 133, a payment processing unit 134, and an granting unit 135.

The receiving unit 131 receives a transfer request including the user ID of the user making the payment and the payment amount. When it is determined that a user is eligible to be granted regional digital currency, the information processing device 1 may be configured to transfer the amount of regional digital currency to be granted to the user's account, and then transfer the regional digital currency from the user's account to the other party to the payment.

That is, the granting unit 135 transfers the local digital currency to the user's account, and stores "Done" in the "granted flag" associated with the user ID included in the transfer request in the user ledger information stored in the memory unit 12. The payment processing unit 134 then transfers the specified asset equivalent to the amount of the payment from the user's account to the account of the store that is the other party to the payment.

By configuring the information processing device 1 in this manner, it is possible to manage the regional digital currency so that it is not given to the same user in duplicate.

Fig. 4 is a flowchart showing the flow of processing in the information processing device 1. The flowchart shown in Fig. 4 starts from the point at which a transfer request is received. If the regional digital currency can be used for payment corresponding to the transfer request (YES in S02), the second judgment unit 133 judges whether or not the regional digital currency can be granted to the user (S03).

If the regional digital currency can be granted (YES in S03), it is determined whether the amount of regional digital currency equivalent to the payment amount included in the transfer request is less than or equal to the sum of the amount granted to the user and the balance of the user's account (S04). If the amount of regional digital currency equivalent to the payment amount included in the transfer request is greater than the amount granted and the balance of the user's account (NO in S04), the payment processing unit 134 sends a response indicating that the payment has failed (S09), and the information processing device 1 ends the process.

If the amount of regional digital currency equivalent to the payment amount included in the transfer request is equal to or less than the amount to be granted and the balance of the user's account (YES in S04), the granting unit 135 grants a predetermined amount of regional digital currency to the user's account (S05). The payment processing unit 134 transfers an amount of regional digital currency equivalent to the payment amount to the account of the other party to the payment (S06). The payment processing unit 134 then sends a response of payment completion to the payment server 2 (S07) and ends the process.

If the local digital currency cannot be granted (NO in S03), it is determined whether the payment amount included in the transfer request is equal to or less than the balance of the user's account (S08). If the payment amount included in the transfer request is equal to or less than the balance of the user's account (YES in S08), the information processing device 1 proceeds to S06. If the payment amount included in the transfer request is greater than the balance of the user's account (NO in S08), the information processing device 1 proceeds to S09.

As described above, when the information processing device 1 receives a transfer request requesting payment with regional digital currency, it determines whether the regional digital currency can be used for the payment corresponding to the transfer request, and if it determines that the regional digital currency can be used for the payment, it determines whether the regional digital currency can be granted to the user, and if it determines that the regional digital currency can be granted to the user, it transfers an amount of regional digital currency equivalent to the payment amount to the account of the store that is the other party to the payment. Fig. 5 is a diagram for explaining an overview of the processing of the information processing system SA according to the modified example. In the process shown in FIG. 5, the content of the process for determining whether or not the regional digital currency can be granted differs from the process (4) in FIG. 1. Specifically, when it is determined whether or not the regional digital currency can be used ((3) in FIG. 5), a message is sent to the ledger management server 5 to inquire whether or not the regional digital currency can be granted to the user ((4) in FIG. 5). The information processing device 1 receives the inquiry result from the ledger management server 5 ((5) in FIG. 5). If the inquiry result received from the ledger management server 5 indicates that the regional digital currency can be granted to the user, the information processing device 1 transfers the regional digital currency ((6) in FIG. 5).

In the information processing device 1A according to the modified example, the storage unit 12 stores user register information that associates a user ID with personal identification information of a user corresponding to the user ID, which is different from the user ID.

The second determination unit 133 determines whether or not to grant the specified assets to the user by inquiring of an external device as to whether or not the user indicated by the personal identification information corresponding to the user ID included in the transfer request is a user to whom the specified assets should be granted. The second determination unit 133 refers to the user ledger information stored in the memory unit 12 and identifies the personal identification information corresponding to the user ID included in the transfer request. The second determination unit 133 then transmits a message to the ledger management server 5 inquiring as to whether or not it is acceptable to grant the local digital currency to the user indicated by the identified personal identification information.

If the message returned from the ledger management server 5 indicates that the user may be granted regional digital currency, the second judgment unit 133 causes the payment processing unit 134 to transfer an amount of regional digital currency equivalent to the payment amount from the account of the issuer, etc. to the account of the other party to the payment. An information processing device for controlling distribution of a predetermined asset that is electronically managed,
a receiving unit that receives a transfer request including user identification information of a user making a payment, a payment amount, and store identification information that identifies the store where the user makes the payment;
a first determination unit that determines whether the specified assets can be used for payment corresponding to the transfer request based on the store identification information included in the transfer request;
a second determination unit that, when the first determination unit determines that the specified assets can be used for the payment, determines whether or not to grant a benefit asset, which is the specified asset to be provided as a specified benefit or subsidy to the user, based on information of the user corresponding to the user identification information included in the transfer request in user ledger information;
an granting unit that transfers at least a portion of the predetermined asset equivalent to a predetermined amount from an account of an organization that issues the predetermined asset and grants the benefit asset when the second determination unit determines that the benefit asset can be granted to the user;
a payment processing unit that transfers the predetermined assets corresponding to the payment amount to an account of a store that is the other party to the payment when the second determination unit determines that the benefit assets can be granted to the user;
