Description
エアロゾル発生システムの液体貯蔵部分に隣接して、またはその中に配置された一対の電極間の電気量を測定し、
センサーから配向情報を受信し、
一対の電極間で測定された電気量情報とセンサーから受信した配向情報とに基づいて、液体貯蔵部分内に保持されている液体の量を定めることを含む。
エアロゾル発生システムの液体貯蔵部分に隣接して、またはその中に配置された一対の電極間の電気量を測定し、
センサーから配向情報を受信し、
測定された電気量情報および受信した配向情報に基づいて、エアロゾル発生手段への電力供給を制限することを含む。
Claims (17)
- エアロゾル発生システムであって、
液体エアロゾル形成基体を保持するための液体貯蔵部分と、
前記液体貯蔵部分に隣接して、またはその中に配置される一対の電極と、
前記液体貯蔵部分の配向および前記液体貯蔵部分の加速を感知するように構成されたセンサーと、
前記一対の電極間の電気量を測定し、
前記センサーから配向情報を受信し、
前記一対の電極間で測定された電気量情報および前記センサーから受信した前記配向情報に基づいて、前記液体貯蔵部分内に保持されている液体エアロゾル形成基体の量を決定するように構成される制御システムと、を備える、エアロゾル発生システム。 - 前記液体貯蔵部分が長さを有し、前記一対の電極が前記液体貯蔵部分の前記長さに沿って延在する、請求項1に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
- 前記液体貯蔵部分が長さを有し、前記一対の電極が実質的に前記液体貯蔵部分の前記長さに延在する、請求項1または請求項2に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
- 前記一対の電極が前記液体貯蔵部分を実質的に囲む、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
- 前記一対の電極が、前記液体貯蔵部分を実質的に囲む管状スリーブを形成する、請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
- 前記制御システムが、前記センサーから受信した前記配向情報に基づいて、前記液体貯蔵部分内に保持されている前記液体エアロゾル形成基体の量を決定することを防止するようにさらに構成される、請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
- 前記センサーが、前記液体貯蔵部分の線加速度を検出するように構成された一つ以上の加速度計を備える、請求項1~6のいずれか一項に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
- 前記センサーが、前記液体貯蔵部分の角速度を感知するように構成された一つ以上のジャイロスコープを備える、請求項1~7のいずれか一項のエアロゾル発生システム。
- 前記センサーが慣性測定ユニットである、請求項1~8のいずれか一項に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
- 前記制御システムが、
前記センサーから加速情報を受信し、
前記液体貯蔵部分が実質的に静止または実質的に一定の速度で移動している安定した状態、前記液体貯蔵部分が加速を受けている不安定な状態、のいずれか一つにあるかどうかを、前記センサーから受信した前記加速情報に基づいて、決定するようにさらに構成される、請求項1~9のいずれか一項に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。 - 前記制御システムが、
前記センサーから受信した加速情報を、一つ以上の加速閾値と比較し、
前記受信した加速情報が前記一つ以上の加速閾値未満である場合に前記液体貯蔵部分が安定した状態にあると決定し、
前記受信した加速情報が前記一つ以上の加速閾値よりも大きい場合に前記液体貯蔵部分が不安定な状態にあると決定するように構成される、請求項10に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。 - 前記制御システムが、
前記液体貯蔵部分が安定した状態にあると決定されるときに、前記液体貯蔵部分内に保持されている前記液体エアロゾル形成基体の量を決定し、
前記液体貯蔵部分が不安定な状態にあると決定されるときに、前記液体貯蔵部分内に保持されている前記液体エアロゾル形成基体の量を決定することを防止するように構成される、請求項10または11に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。 - 前記液体貯蔵部分が、前記液体エアロゾル形成基体を保持するためのハウジングと、前記ハウジングの表面の一部の上に延在する一対の電極とを備える、請求項1~12のいずれかに記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
- 前記液体貯蔵部分の前記ハウジングが、二つの対向する端と、前記対向する端の間に延在する少なくとも一つの側壁と、を備え、
前記一対の電極が、実質的に前記液体貯蔵部分の前記ハウジングの前記一つ以上の側壁上に延在する、請求項13に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。 - 前記一対の電極が相互嵌合された電極である、請求項1~14のいずれかに記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
- 前記一対の電極が、前記液体貯蔵部分の少なくとも一部分が前記一対の電極間に配置されるように、前記液体貯蔵部分の前記ハウジング上に配置される、請求項13に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
- 前記液体貯蔵部分から液体エアロゾル形成基体を受けるように配置された、エアロゾル発生手段と、
前記エアロゾル発生手段に電力を供給するように配置された一つ以上の電力供給源と、をさらに備え、
前記制御システムが、前記液体貯蔵部分の前記決定された配向に基づいて、前記一つ以上の電力供給源から前記エアロゾル発生手段への電力供給を制御するようにさらに構成される、請求項1~16のいずれかに記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
