Description

The present invention relates to an opening and closing device in which an opening and closing body that divides a space is wound and stacked on the open side for storage.

Conventionally, this type of opening and closing device, as described in Patent Document 1 for example, includes an opening and closing body in which multiple long slats are connected in the vertical direction in the left and right width directions, guide rails that guide the opening and closing body in the opening and closing direction on both sides in the width direction, and a winding shaft that winds up and stacks the opening and closing body on the opening direction side.

However, with the above-mentioned conventional opening and closing device, when the opening and closing body is wound up, the inner and outer surfaces of the opening and closing body may come into contact with each other, which may cause noise, vibration, and the like.
In order to cope with this problem, it is conceivable to sandwich a cushioning material between the inner and outer surfaces, but this requires some ingenuity to prevent the cushioning material from becoming worn out after long-term use.

<Specific embodiment>
Next, specific embodiments having the above-mentioned features will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
In the following description, the term "thickness direction of the opening/closing body" refers to the thickness direction of the opening/closing body in the closed state, and the term "width direction of the opening/closing body" refers to a direction that is substantially perpendicular to the opening/closing direction of the opening/closing body, but is not the thickness direction of the opening/closing body.
Further, the "opening/closing direction of the opening/closing body" refers to the sliding direction in which the opening/closing body closes or opens the space so as to partition it.

In addition, the term "outer side in the width direction of the opening/closing body" refers to the direction toward the outside of the opening/closing body along the width direction of the opening/closing body. For example, when the guide rail on the right side is used as a reference, the outer side in the width direction of the opening/closing body is the right side of the right guide rail.
In addition, the term "inner side in the width direction of the opening/closing body" refers to the direction toward the inside of the opening/closing body along the width direction of the opening/closing body. For example, when the guide rail on the right side is used as a reference, the inner side in the width direction of the opening/closing body is the left side of the right guide rail.

Additionally, "outside in the thickness direction of the opening/closing body" refers to the side in the direction away from the center of the thickness of the opening/closing body along the thickness direction of the opening/closing body.
Additionally, the term "inner side in the thickness direction of the opening/closing body" refers to the side toward the center of the thickness of the opening/closing body along the thickness direction of the opening/closing body.

As shown in FIG. 1, the opening and closing device 1 divides a space and closes while opening in the opposite direction when rolled up and stacked. The opening and closing device 1 includes guide rails 20 that guide the opening and closing body 10 in the opening and closing direction on both sides of the width direction, cushioning material 30 that is sandwiched between the opening and closing body 10 when rolled up and stacked, and a storage section 40 that stores the opening and closing body 10 by rolling it up on the opening direction side, forming a shutter device that is attached to the opening part of a garage, factory, window sash, etc.

The opening/closing body 10 is made by connecting multiple slats 11a, which are made by bending a horizontally elongated, roughly rectangular metal plate, so that the slats 11a, 11a adjacent to each other vertically, rotate between them to form the opening/closing body main body 11, and a seat plate member 12 is connected across the width to the closing end of the opening/closing body main body 11 for abutting against the contact target area G when the door is fully closed (see Figure 1).

Each slat 11a is a member with a generally concave vertical cross section that extends continuously in the width direction of the opening/closing body, and is integrally formed with a roughly plate-shaped (flat in the illustrated example) main body piece 11a1, a connecting portion 11a2 that protrudes to one side in the thickness direction of the opening/closing body (to the left in Figure 3) on the opening direction side of the main body piece 11a1, a connected portion 11a3 that protrudes to the one side on the closing direction side of the main body piece 11a1 and is connected to the connecting portion 11a2 of the other slat 11a, and a fitting recess 11a4 in which a cushioning material 30 is fitted between the opposing inner surfaces 11a41, 11a42.

Two slats 11a, 11a adjacent to each other in the opening and closing direction can rotate relative to one another by engaging the connecting portion 11a2 with the connected portion 11a3, and one can slide relative to the other in the width direction of the opening and closing body.

The connecting portion 11a2 is bent into an appropriate shape, such as a generally hook-shaped vertical cross section, so that it can be hooked onto the connected portion 11a3.
The connected portion 11a3 is formed with a generally curled cross section that opens downward (in other words, a C-shaped cross section that opens downward) so that the connecting portion 11a2 can be inserted from below and latched (see FIG. 3).

The connected portion 11a3 protrudes from the lower end side of the main body piece 11a1 in one direction in the thickness direction of the opening/closing body, and its tip functions as the abutment portion 11a31. This abutment portion 11a31 directly abuts against the outer surface of the opening/closing body 10 after the opening/closing body 10 is wound and overlapped, and the cushioning material 30 is sandwiched between the inner and outer surfaces of the opening/closing body 10 and elastically deformed (see Figures 5 and 6).

The fitting recess 11a4 has an inner surface 11a41 on one side in the thickness direction of the opening/closing body and an inner surface 11a42 on the other side facing and spaced from the inner surface, and is formed into a cylindrical shape with a bottom in vertical cross section with the bottom being below the space between these inner surfaces.

The inner surface 11a41 on one side is a part of the main body piece 11a1. In other words, the inner surface 11a41 is formed by the main body piece 11a1.
The inner surface 11a42 on the other side is a part of the connected portion 11a3. In other words, the inner surface 11a42 is formed by the connected portion 11a3.

The inside of the mating recess 11a4 is larger in the thickness direction of the opening/closing body toward the bottom side than the entrance portion 11a4X, and according to the illustrated example, the width in the thickness direction of the opening/closing body gradually increases toward the bottom side of the mating recess 11a4 (see Figure 3).
A cushioning material 30 is attached to this fitting recess 11a4 so as to be positioned between the inner and outer surfaces of the opening/closing body 10 when it is rolled up.

The buffer material 30 is partially disposed on the inner side of the guide rail 20 in the opening/closing body width direction, and toward the center in the lateral width direction of each slat 11a of the opening/closing body 10 (see Figs. 1 and 2).
The buffer material 30 is made of a metal material and is fixed in the fitting recess 11a4 so as to be located between the upper and lower connecting portions 11a2 and connected portions 11a3.
This cushioning material 30 protrudes toward the opposite body piece 11a1 side beyond the connecting portion 11a2 and the connected portion 11a3 in the thickness direction of the opening/closing body, and is elastically bent and deformed when sandwiched between the opening/closing body 10 when it is wound and overlapped.

This cushioning material 30 is integrally equipped with a fixed portion 31 that fits into the fitting recess 11a4 and is fixed thereto, and a deformable portion 32 that protrudes from the fixed portion 31 toward the opposite side of the main body piece 11a1 (the left side in FIG. 3) and is sandwiched between the opening/closing body 10 when it is wound and overlapped, and is elastically flexibly deformed. In the illustrated example, the fixed portion 31 is formed at one end of a metal strip-shaped member by pressing or bending it, and the deformable portion 32 is formed at the other end.

The fixed portion 31 is formed in a curved shape that fits into the fitting recess 11a4, and a plurality of fixed portions 31 (two on either side of the deformed portion 32 according to the example in FIG. 4) are provided at intervals in the width direction of the opening/closing body.
The width of each fixed portion 31 in the opening/closing body thickness direction at a portion that fits into the fitting recess 11a4 on the bottom side of the entrance portion 11a4X is greater than the width of the entrance portion 11a4X in the opening/closing body thickness direction (see FIG. 3).
In more detail, each fixed portion 31 has a flat portion 31a extending downward along the main body piece 11a1 of the slat 11a, and an inclined piece portion 31b (second protrusion portion) formed by bending the lower end side of the flat portion 31a and extending diagonally upward toward the abutment portion 11a31, and is formed in an approximately V-shape in vertical cross section, with the width of this V-shaped portion in the thickness direction of the opening/closing body being greater than the width of the entrance portion 11a4X of the mating recess 11a4 (see Figures 3 and 4).
The fixed portion 31 has an elastic restoring force that expands the portion that fits into the fitting recess 11a4 (i.e., between the flat plate portion 31a and the inclined piece portion 31b) in the thickness direction of the opening/closing body.

The material of the fixed part 31 is preferably a metal material that is elastically deformable and highly corrosion-resistant, such as a stainless steel plate (stainless steel strip for springs).

The flat plate portion 31a has a first protrusion 31a1 formed by cutting a concave portion in the center and bending the inside toward the main body piece 11a1. The first protrusion 31a1 extends obliquely upward toward the main body piece 11a1, and the edge-like portion (facing portion) of its tip is pressed against the inner surface 11a41 (main body piece 11a1) on one side of the mating recess 11a4.

The inclined piece 31b is a second protruding piece that protrudes obliquely upward toward the abutting portion 11a31. This inclined piece 31b (second protruding piece) presses the edge-shaped portion of its tip against the other inner surface 11a42 (connected portion 11a3) of the mating recess 11a4. The inner surface 11a42 is inclined obliquely upward toward the main body piece 11a1, and this inclined surface receives the edge-shaped portion (see FIG. 3).

The deformation portion 32 is formed of a metal strip-like member that is integral with the fixed portion 31, and when the opening/closing body 10 is wound and overlapped, it abuts against the main body piece portion 11a1 of the slat 11a and elastically deforms by bending.
In other words, when the opening/closing body 10 is not wound, at least a portion of this deformation portion 32 protrudes to one side in the thickness direction of the opening/closing body (to the side opposite the main body piece portion 11a1 in the illustrated example) beyond the connected portion 11a3 and the connecting portion 11a2.

The deformed portion 32 in the illustrated example protrudes in the thickness direction of the opening/closing body from the main body piece 11a1 side toward the connected portion 11a3 side, and its tip side extends in the opening/closing direction of the opening/closing body, making the tip end a free end (see Figure 3).
In more detail, this deformation portion 32 is integrally formed with a protruding piece portion 32a that protrudes in the thickness direction of the opening/closing body and contacts or is close to the upper surface of the connected portion 11a3, a contact piece portion 32b that has a convex curved surface shape (approximately arc-shaped in longitudinal section in the illustrated example) that is bent at the tip side of the protruding piece portion 32a and extended in a direction away from the connected portion 11a3 (upward in the illustrated example), and a flat base piece portion 32c that is bent at the base end side of the protruding piece portion 32a and extended upward.

The guide rails 20 are provided on both the left and right sides of the opening/closing body 10 .
Each guide rail 20 is inserted into the opening at the end side in the width direction of the opening/closing body 10 so as to surround the opening in a concave cross section, and continues in the vertical direction between the contact target site G and the storage section 40. An obstacle detection sensor such as a multi-axis sensor is provided inside the guide rail 20 as necessary.

As shown in FIG. 1, the storage section 40 includes a storage case 41 with an opening formed at the bottom for the opening/closing body 10 to appear and disappear, a winding shaft 42 for winding and unwinding the opening/closing body 10, an opening/closing machine 43 for driving and rotating the winding shaft 42 via a power transmission mechanism such as a chain and a sprocket, and a control circuit (not shown).

The winding shaft 42 is formed in a cylindrical shape with its axial direction facing the width direction of the opening/closing body, and the upper end of the opening/closing body 10 is connected to its outer circumferential surface. When the winding shaft 42 rotates in one direction, it winds up the opening/closing body 10 on its outer circumferential surface (see Figures 5 and 6), and when it rotates in the opposite direction, it unrolls the opening/closing body 10 downward.

Next, the characteristic functions and effects of the opening and closing device 1 having the above configuration will be described in detail.
When the opening/closing body 10 is wound around the winding shaft 42, the inner surface of the radially innermost slat 11a first comes into contact with the outer circumferential surface of the winding shaft 42, as shown in FIG.
More specifically, the cushioning material 30 of each slat 11a abuts against the outer circumferential surface of the winding shaft 42 and gradually bends elastically, and then the abutting portion 11a31 of the connected portion 11a3 abuts against the outer circumferential surface of the winding shaft 42.

Next, when the outer opening/closing body 10 is wrapped around the inner opening/closing body 10, the cushioning material 30 of the outer slat 11a first abuts against the outer surface of the inner slat 11a (see FIG. 5). At this point, there is a gap S between the abutting portion 11a31 of the connected portion 11a3 and the inner slat 11a.
Thereafter, the cushioning material 30 gradually bends elastically. After such bending deformation, the contact portion 11a31 of the connected portion 11a3 comes into contact with the outer surface of the inner slat 11a.
Furthermore, when the opening/closing body 10 is unwound from the winding shaft 42 to perform the closing operation, each of the cushioning materials 30 elastically returns to its original state.

As described above, when the inner surface of each slat 11a contacts the outer periphery of the inner winding shaft 42 or the surface of the slat 11a, the cushioning material 30 first comes into contact and gradually bends elastically, and then the contact portion 11a31 of the connected portion 11a3 slowly comes into contact with the surface of the slat 11a. This gradual contact can therefore reduce noise, vibration, and other impacts.

In addition, each cushioning material 30 flexes and deforms to fit between the connecting portion 11a2 and the connected portion 11a3, which helps prevent the winding diameter of the opening/closing body 10 from increasing.

In addition, the pressure applied by the cushioning material 30 to the inner member (the winding shaft 42 or the slat 11a) is kept at a substantially constant low pressure after the connected portion 11a3 comes into contact with the inner member, thereby reducing the amount of indentations, wear powder, etc. caused by the cushioning material 30 on the outer surface of each slat 11a.
Therefore, there is no need to arrange the cushioning material 30 so that it is hidden within the guide rail 20, and it is exposed toward the center of the width of the opening/closing body 10, which has the greatest deflection in the width direction, thereby effectively reducing the winding noise, etc., of the opening/closing body 10.

In particular, in the above embodiment, the entire cushioning material 30 is made of a metal material, which makes it easier to maintain elastic bending properties even at low temperatures, such as in winter, compared to a case in which, for example, only a portion of the cushioning material is made of synthetic resin, and can effectively reduce vibration and noise.

In addition, the first protrusion 31a1 and the inclined piece 31b (second protrusion) of the metal fixed part 31 are pressed against the inner surfaces 11a41 and 11a42 of the fitting recess 11a4 by the elastic restoring force, which prevents the cushioning material 30 from easily coming off.

In addition, according to the above embodiment, the cushioning material 30 is in contact with or close to the connected portion 11a3, so the direction of the bending deformation of the cushioning material 30 can be stabilized.

In the above embodiment, the deformation portion 32 is extended upward as a particularly preferred example, but as another example of the deformation portion 32, it can be extended downward. Furthermore, as another example of the deformation portion 32, it can be appropriately processed at the tip end so that it is split into two parts extending upward and downward, respectively.

<変形例>
<Modification>
Next, a modification of the above configuration will be described.
The following modified examples are obtained by partially changing the configuration of the opening and closing device 1 described above, and therefore mainly the changed parts will be described in detail, and overlapping detailed descriptions will be omitted.

The cushioning material 50 shown in Figures 7 and 8 is integrally equipped with a fixed portion 51 that fits into the fitting recess 11a4 and is fixed thereto, and a deformable portion 52 that protrudes from the fixed portion 51 toward the opposite side of the main body piece 11a1 (the left side in Figure 7) and is sandwiched between the opening and closing body 10 when it is wound and overlapped, and is elastically flexibly deformed. In the illustrated example, the fixed portion 51 is formed at one end of a metal strip-shaped member by pressing or bending it, and the deformable portion 52 is formed at the other end.

The fixed portion 51 has a fitting portion 51a that fits along the inner surface of the fitting recess 11a4, an overlapping portion 51b that extends in the opening direction and overlaps the main body piece 11a1, and a curved piece portion 51c that is bent on the opening direction side of the overlapping portion 51b and comes into contact with or close to the inner surface of the main body piece 11a1 side of the connection portion 11a2.

The fitting portion 51a is formed in a concave shape in longitudinal section along the inner surface of the fitting recess 11a4, and the width in the thickness direction of the opening/closing body of the portion that fits into the fitting recess 11a4 on the bottom side further than the entrance portion 11a4X is greater than the width in the thickness direction of the opening/closing body of the entrance portion 11a4X.
According to the illustrated example, the dimension of the fitting portion 51a in the thickness direction of the opening/closing body gradually increases toward the bottom side of the fitting recess 11a4.
According to the illustrated example, the overlapping portion 51b is formed in a flat surface substantially parallel to the main body piece 11a1 and is adhered to the surface of the main body piece 11a1 via an adhesive (including adhesive and double-sided tape). The adhesive is applied to substantially the entire surface of the overlapping portion 51b so as to extend over the entire length of the main body piece 11a1 in the vertical direction.
Other examples of the means for fixing the overlapping portion 51b to the surface of the main body half 11a1 include welding, screwing, fitting, and the like.

The deformation portion 52 extends obliquely upward from the engaging portion 51a of the fixed portion 51 toward the opposite body piece 11a1 side, is close to the upper surface of the connected portion 11a3, and protrudes further toward the opposite body piece 11a1 side than the connected portion 11a3. It also extends from its tip side in the opening direction of the opening/closing body in a convex curved shape in vertical section (in the illustrated example, the vertical section is approximately arc-shaped), with the tip being a free end (see FIG. 7).

The cushioning material 50 of the above configuration, like the cushioning material 30, is partially arranged on the inside of the guide rail 20 in the opening/closing body width direction, toward the center of the width direction of each slat 11a of the opening/closing body 10.

Therefore, in an opening/closing device in which the cushioning material 50 of the above configuration is attached to the opening/closing body 10, when the opening/closing body 10 is rolled up during the opening operation, the deformed portion 52 on the tip side of the cushioning material 50 abuts against the winding shaft 42 or the inner slat 11a.
During this contact, the deformation portion 52 elastically deforms so as to bend toward the slat 11a. Then, after this, the contact portion 11a31 of the connected portion 11a3 slowly contacts the outer circumferential surface of the winding shaft 42 or the inner slat 11a. Therefore, this gradual contact can reduce noise, vibration, and other impacts.
When the opening/closing body 10 is unwound from the winding shaft 42 by the closing operation, the cushioning material 50 elastically returns to its original shape.
In addition, since the metal fitting portion 51a is fitted into the fitting recess 11a4 and the overlapping portion 51b is bonded to the main body piece 11a1 over its entire surface, the cushioning material 50 does not easily come off the slat 11a and has excellent durability.

In this way, the opening and closing device equipped with the cushioning material 50 can achieve effects that are approximately the same as or greater than those of the opening and closing device 1 equipped with the cushioning material 30.

The cushioning material 60 shown in Figures 9 and 10 is made by pressing or bending a generally flat metal strip-shaped member F (see Figure 10) to form a deformation portion 61 at one end that is sandwiched between the opening/closing body 10 when it is wound and overlapped, and a fixed portion 62 at the other end that fits into and is fixed in the fitting recess 11a4.

As illustrated in Figure 10, the band-shaped member F is formed in a long, approximately rectangular shape, has a plurality of fitting holes f1 spaced apart in the width direction on the surface of one end side, and has a plurality of protruding pieces f2 protruding from the edge of the other end side, which can be inserted into each of the plurality of fitting holes f1.
The strip-shaped member F has one end bent into a convex curved shape (approximately a circular arc in vertical section in the illustrated example) to form a deformed portion 61 .
Furthermore, the other end of this strip-shaped member F is bent into a ring shape in longitudinal section to fit into the mating recess 11a4, and the multiple protrusions f2 are each fitted in an uneven manner into the mating holes f1 on the surface of the strip-shaped member F, thereby holding the fixed portion 62 in a shape that can fit into the mating recess 11a4.

The fixed portion 62 is formed in a concave shape in longitudinal section along the inner surface of the mating recess 11a4, and the width in the thickness direction of the opening/closing body of the portion that fits into the mating recess 11a4 toward the bottom side relative to the entrance portion 11a4X is greater than the width of the entrance portion 11a4X in the thickness direction of the opening/closing body.
According to the illustrated example, the dimension of the fixed portion 62 in the opening/closing body thickness direction gradually increases as it approaches the bottom side of the fitting recess 11a4.

Therefore, the opening and closing device equipped with the above-mentioned buffer material 60 can effectively reduce impacts such as noise and vibrations in substantially the same manner as the opening and closing device 1 equipped with the above-mentioned buffer material 30.
Furthermore, the engagement between the fitting hole f1 and the protrusion portion f2 allows the fixed portion 62 to be maintained engaged with the fitting recess 11a4, thereby effectively preventing the cushioning material 60 from coming off the slat 11a.
Moreover, the cushioning material 60 can be easily produced from the flat band-like member F.

In the above embodiment, the mating recess 11a4 is formed between the main body piece 11a1 and the connected part 11a3 of the slat 11a. As another example, it is also possible to form a substantially similar mating recess (not shown) between the main body piece 11a1 and the connecting part 11a2, and to fit and fix a cushioning material into this mating recess.

In addition, in the above embodiment, a single cushioning material is provided at the center of the width of each slat 11a, but as other examples, it is also possible to provide multiple cushioning materials at intervals in the width direction of each slat 11a, or to provide the cushioning material in a long shape that spans approximately the entire length of each slat 11a.

In addition, according to the cushioning material 60, the protruding piece f2 on one end of the strip-shaped member F is inserted into the fitting hole f1 on the other end of the strip-shaped member F. As another example, the convex-concave relationship may be reversed, and a convex part may be provided on the surface of one end of the strip-shaped member F, and a concave part may be provided on the end of the strip-shaped member F, so that these convex parts and concave parts fit together.

Furthermore, according to the above embodiment, when the opening/closing body 10 is not wound, a part of the deformed portion protrudes in one direction in the thickness direction of the opening/closing body beyond the connected portion 11a3 and the connecting portion 11a2. However, as another example, it is also possible to configure the deformed portion to protrude in one direction in the thickness direction of the opening/closing body beyond the connected portion 11a3 or the connecting portion 11a2.
In other words, when the cushioning material is provided closer to the connected portion 11a3, when the opening/closing body 10 is not wound, it is possible to make a portion of the deformed portion protrude in one direction in the thickness direction of the opening/closing body beyond the connected portion 11a3, and to make a portion of the deformed portion not protrude beyond the connecting portion 11a2.
Furthermore, when the cushioning material is provided closer to the connection portion 11a2, when the opening/closing body 10 is not wound, it is possible to make a portion of the deformed portion protrude in one direction in the thickness direction of the opening/closing body beyond the connection portion 11a2, and to prevent a portion of the deformed portion from protruding beyond the connected portion 11a3.

In addition, in the cushioning material in the above embodiment, examples have been given of a configuration in which a single deforming portion is connected to a plurality of the fixed portions (see Figure 4), and a configuration in which a single deforming portion is connected to a single fixed portion (see Figures 7 to 10), but the cushioning material can be configured in such a way that either one or both of the fixed portions and the deforming portions are provided in multiple locations in the width direction of the opening/closing body.
That is, as examples other than the illustrated example, it is possible to connect multiple deformable parts arranged in the width direction of the opening/closing body to a single fixed part, or connect multiple deformable parts arranged in the width direction of the opening/closing body to multiple fixed parts arranged in the width direction of the opening/closing body.
In addition, the cushioning material can be configured in such a way that the single or multiple deformable portions are longer in the width direction of the opening/closing body than the single or multiple fixed portions, or that the single or multiple deformable portions are shorter in the width direction of the opening/closing body than the single or multiple fixed portions.

In addition, in the above embodiment, the cushioning material is provided on each of a predetermined number of slats 11a, but other examples include providing the cushioning material on every predetermined number of slats 11a, providing the cushioning material on all slats 11a, providing the cushioning material on any slat 11a other than the illustrated example, etc.

In the above embodiment, the present invention is applied to a single-shaft opening and closing device 1 equipped with a single winding shaft 42, but the present invention can also be applied to a multi-shaft opening and closing device, such as a two-shaft opening and closing device in which the opening and closing body 10 is guided by a first shaft in a direction intersecting the opening and closing direction and then wound up on a second shaft (winding shaft).

Furthermore, the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and can be modified as appropriate without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention.
