Description

The present invention relates to disposable outerwear that is easy to put on and take off.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, in medical settings, construction sites, and the like, outerwear worn over clothing has been used to protect medical personnel and various workers from dirt and hazardous substances such as pathogens and pollutants that are harmful to the human body, thereby enabling them to work safely.
For example, in medical settings, medical workers wear outerwear to prevent substances that may contain pathogens and infect humans, such as blood, body fluids, and vomit, from coming into contact with their clothing or skin while caring for patients, thus preventing infection for medical workers. There are also various types of outerwear depending on the situation of use, such as apron-type that covers only the front of the body, gown-type and one-piece types that cover the entire front and back of the body. Chemical protective suits and other types of outerwear with special functions are known to protect workers from particularly dangerous pathogens and pollutants.

Used outerwear is often contaminated with dirt and hazardous substances such as pathogens and pollutants, and is almost always disposable, as it is discarded after one use. In addition, when removing the clothing, great care must be taken to prevent dirt, pathogens, pollutants, and other hazardous substances from getting on the hands and spreading them around. Some types of outerwear require the assistance of a caregiver when removing them, and there is a demand for clothing that can be easily removed by oneself without touching surfaces that are prone to getting dirty or hazardous substances on the hands (sometimes referred to as contaminated surfaces).

For example, Patent Document 1 discloses a medical outerwear that has a slit in the collar of the front body and can be removed by pinching the slit and tearing it from there toward the hem. Because the front body of this medical outerwear can be torn, it can be removed by the wearer alone, even without the assistance of a caregiver.

However, the medical outerwear in Patent Document 1 is removed by tearing off the front part, which is a contaminated surface that is prone to stains and hazardous substances, and there is a high risk that the stains or hazardous substances will come into contact with the hands, etc.

The present invention aims to provide disposable outerwear that is easy to put on and take off, and in particular, that is difficult for dirt or hazardous substances adhering to the outerwear to adhere to the wearer's clothing or skin when the outerwear is removed, and that can be easily put on and taken off by one person.

The present invention provides a disposable garment having a main body portion for covering at least the torso of a wearer,
The main body has a head opening, a leg opening, and a pair of arm openings,
The back side region obtained by dividing the main body portion at approximately the center in the width direction in a side view has at least one slit extending upward from the leg side opening and a cut line extending from the head opening to the slit,
The cut line is disposed obliquely with respect to the longitudinal direction of the main body portion,

The cut line can be torn to allow removal of the garment.

In the present invention, it is preferable that the intersection point of the cut line and the slit is lower than the beginning of the slit, since this makes it easier to tear along the cut line when removing the garment.

The disposable outerwear of the present invention is preferably made of a synthetic resin film.
The synthetic resin film prevents dirt or hazardous substances from seeping in or seeping in through gaps, and can be formed into outerwear by heat processing (described below) without sewing. Since dirt and hazardous substances cannot seep in through seams, dirt and hazardous substances on the outerwear are less likely to adhere to the worker's clothing or skin.
Furthermore, the inside of the main body portion formed from a synthetic resin film may be matte-finished.

The present invention provides disposable outerwear that is easy to put on and take off, and in particular, makes it difficult for dirt or hazardous substances adhering to the outerwear to adhere to the wearer's clothing or skin when the outerwear is removed, making it easy to put on and take off by one person.

The following describes embodiments of the present invention with reference to the drawings. Fig. 1 is an enlarged view of the front side of embodiment 1 of the present invention, Fig. 2 is an enlarged view of the back side, and Fig. 3 is an enlarged view of the right side, and Fig. 4 is an enlarged view of the cut lines of the present invention. Fig. 5 is an enlarged view of the back side of another embodiment 2. Fig. 6 is an enlarged view of the method of taking off the disposable outerwear of the present invention. Note that the present invention is not limited to these embodiments.

[Embodiment 1]
As shown in Figures 1, 2 and 3, embodiment 1 of the present invention is a disposable outerwear 1 having a main body portion 2 that covers the torso and legs of a wearer, and the main body portion 2 has a front portion 2a, a back portion 2b, a head opening 21, a leg opening 22 and a pair of arm openings 23.

As shown in FIG. 2, a cut line 4 is provided on the back portion 2b of the main body portion 2, extending from the head opening 21 to the slit 3, and the cut line 4 is disposed obliquely with respect to the longitudinal direction of the main body portion 2.

In the first embodiment, the main body 2 covers the torso and legs of the wearer, but in the present invention, the main body 2 may cover at least the torso of the wearer. Here, the torso in the present invention refers to the upper body from the base of the legs excluding the head and arms, and the legs refer to the area from the base to the ankles. In addition to the embodiment that covers the torso and legs, the present invention also includes a sleeve 2c as shown in the second embodiment in FIG. 5, a knee-length main body 2 not shown, or a body that covers only the torso. The length of the main body 2 and the presence or absence of the sleeve 2c may be appropriately set depending on the usage situation. In addition, a portion that covers the collar or neck may be provided as necessary.
Furthermore, in embodiment 1, the main body 2 is composed of two parts such as a film or sheet, a front part 2a and a back part 2b, which are formed by dividing the outer garment 1 approximately at the center of the width when viewed from the side, but present invention 1 may also be composed of a single part such as a film or sheet.

The material constituting the main body 2 is not particularly limited, and examples thereof include synthetic resin films, nonwoven fabrics, and paper, and films or sheets formed by laminating one or more layers of these may also be used.
In particular, when a synthetic resin film is used, there is no risk of dirt or hazardous substances seeping in or penetrating through gaps, and it can be formed into outerwear by the heat processing described below without sewing, so dirt and hazardous substances cannot penetrate through seams, making it preferable because dirt and hazardous substances that adhere to the outerwear are less likely to adhere to the worker's clothing or skin.

Examples of resins that can be used to form the synthetic resin film include polyethylene resins such as polyolefin resins, such as low-density polyethylene, linear low-density polyethylene (ethylene-α-olefin copolymer), medium-density polyethylene, and high-density polyethylene; polypropylene resins such as polypropylene and ethylene-propylene copolymer; poly-4-methyl-1-pentene, polybutene, and ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer; polyester resins, polyamide resins, nylon resins, thermoplastic polyurethane resins, and vinyl chloride resins; and mixtures of these may also be used.

The material constituting the main body 2 may have functions such as water resistance, oil resistance, and chemical resistance from the viewpoint of contamination resistance. For example, a functional additive may be mixed into the resin constituting the synthetic resin film or nonwoven fabric, or a coating containing a functional additive may be formed on the surface of the film or nonwoven fabric.

When a synthetic resin film is used for the main body 2, it is preferable that the inside of the main body 2 that comes into contact with the wearer has a matte finish. If the inside of the main body 2 has a matte finish, the matte finishes of the front part 2a and the back part 2b of the main body 2 overlap when the main body 2 is made into an outer garment, and the films stick to each other and become difficult to peel off; this can prevent so-called blocking, and therefore the outer garment 1 can be stored in a folded state before use, and when worn, it is easy to put on because the head and arms can be easily put out from each opening.
The outside of the main body 2 may have a matte finish, and it is more preferable that both surfaces of the main body 2 have a matte finish. If both surfaces have a matte finish, blocking between the outer garments can be prevented when the outer garments are stacked on top of each other.

In the first embodiment, the slit 3 is provided below the joint L that joins the front part 2a and the back part 2b shown in Fig. 3, but in the present invention, at least one slit 3 is provided upward from the leg opening 22 in the back part 2b, which is the back side region obtained by dividing the main body part 2 at approximately the center in the width direction in a side view. By providing the slit 3, the cut line 4 described later can be placed within the reach of the wearer's hand, making it easy to put on and take off the outer garment 1 of the present invention. In addition, when the length of the main body part 2 is long, providing the slit 3 makes it easy to put on and move around, without impairing work efficiency. In addition, in the present invention, the back side region obtained by dividing the main body part 2 at approximately the center in the width direction in a side view also includes the boundary between the front part 2a and the back part 2b.
The range that the wearer can reach is assumed to be in a standing position without squatting, and is the vicinity of the waist, buttocks, and thighs on the back part 2b of the main body part 2. The position of the slit 3 may be set so that the wearer can reach the starting part M, assuming that the end of the slit 3 on the leg-side opening 22 side is the terminal part N and the other end is the starting part M.
For example, if a slit 3 is provided at the hem of the back part 2b of the main body part 2, which is approximately in the center of the width direction, it is possible to eliminate the difficulty in walking without impeding leg movement. In particular, if the slit 3 is provided on the side of the main body part 2, i.e., on the back part 2b of the main body part 2, along the boundary with the front part 2a as in embodiment 1, the cutting line 4 can be angled, which is preferable because it is easy to tear and take off. In this embodiment 1, the length of the main body part 2 is 1170 mm, and the starting end M is located 370 mm above the ending end N.

The slits 3 are provided facing upwards and may be parallel to the length of the main body 2 or may be provided at an angle, and multiple slits may be provided in positions that make it easy to wear or move around. In this invention, "upper" refers to the wearer's head side, and "lower" refers to the wearer's legs side.

A gripping portion may be provided near the beginning M of the slit 3 of the present invention so that, even if it is not visible when worn, the position of the cut line 4 can be identified by putting your hand behind your back, making it easier to tear. Examples of gripping portions include a thin plate-like piece that is easy to grip, or a loop-like portion that can be passed through with your fingers. The shape and material of the gripping portion are not particularly limited, but it may be made of the same material as the main body 2, and in particular a synthetic resin film that is attached to the main body 2 at the same time as the outer garment is formed.

In embodiment 1, a cut line 4 is provided on the back portion 2b of the main body portion 2, extending from the head opening 21 to the slit 3, and the cut line 4 is arranged diagonally with respect to the longitudinal direction of the main body portion 2.
The cut line 4 is provided on the back 2b of the main body 2 where dirt and hazardous substances are unlikely to adhere, so that the garment can be taken off without touching dirt or hazardous substances. Also, because the cut line 4 is arranged diagonally, the garment can be torn by spreading the hands to the left and right, making it easy to take off even by one person. In addition, if liquid dirt or hazardous substances adhere to the back 2b and drip vertically, the cut line 4 is arranged diagonally, so that it is unlikely to penetrate into the outer garment.
The inclination angle of the cut line 4 is preferably 60° or more and less than 90° with respect to the width direction of the main body portion.

In embodiment 1, as shown in FIG. 4, the cut line 4 is formed from a cutout portion 41 and a connecting portion 42, and the cutout portion 41 and the linear connecting portion 42 are alternately arranged on the same line.

The shape of the cutout portion 41 is not particularly limited and may be a curved shape, an ellipse shape, a polygonal shape, or the like other than the linear shape shown in FIG. 4(a) or the circular shape shown in FIG. 4(b), and may be appropriately selected.
The size of the cutout portion 41 is preferably 30 mm or less in width to prevent the intrusion of dirt and hazardous substances.

The connecting portion 42 is the portion that is torn by hand when undressing, as described below. The length of the connecting portion 42 is preferably 5 mm or more and 15 mm or less. If the length of the connecting portion is less than 5 mm, there is a risk that the connecting portion 42 will tear with a simple movement during work. Also, if the length of the connecting portion 42 exceeds 15 mm, there is a risk that the connecting portion 42 will not tear up to the adjacent cutout portion 41 even if it is pulled when undressing, making it difficult to undress.

The cut line 4 may be a double line or a curved line. In addition, it is sufficient to provide cut lines 4 extending from the head opening 21 to the necessary slits 3 among the multiple slits 3 provided, and it is not necessary to provide cut lines 4 extending to the slits 3 for all slits 3.

The cut line 4 has an intersection X with the slit 3. The intersection X may be the same as the starting end M of the slit 3, but is preferably located below the starting end M. If the intersection X is the same as the starting end M, the garment can be easily torn along the cut line 4 when pulled by hand, but there is a risk that it may easily tear even with simple movements during work. On the other hand, if the intersection X is located below the starting end M, it is less likely to tear during work, but can be easily torn when taking off the garment.

[Embodiment 2]
As shown in FIG. 5, embodiment 2 of the present invention is a disposable outerwear 1' having a main body portion 2' that covers the wearer's torso, legs and arms, and the main body portion 2' is composed of a front portion 2a, a back portion 2b and sleeve portions 2c, and has a head opening 21', a leg opening 22' and a pair of arm openings 23'.
Similarly to the first embodiment, the main body 2' has a joint L where the front part 2a and the back part 2b are joined at approximately the center in the width direction when viewed from the right side, and a slit 3 is provided below the joint L. A slit 3 is also provided on the left side surface.
A cut line 4 is provided on the back portion 2b of the main body portion 2' from the head opening 21' to the slit 3, and the cut line 4 is disposed obliquely with respect to the longitudinal direction of the main body portion 2'.

Embodiment 2 is similar to embodiment 1, except that it has sleeves 2c that cover the arms.

In the second embodiment, the sleeve portion 2c is formed integrally with the front portion 2a or the back portion 2b, but the sleeve portion 2c may be formed separately. Also, the sleeve portion 2c may have a hole at the cuff through which the thumb can be passed to prevent the sleeve from being turned up.

The method of putting on and taking off the outer garment 1 of embodiment 1 of the present invention will be described.

The outer garment 1 of the present invention has a slit 3 and a cutting line 4 formed continuous with the slit 3 in the back portion 2 b of the main body portion 2 .
When wearing the outer garment 1 of the present invention, the wearer puts on the garment through the leg openings 22, puts his/her head through the head opening 21, and puts his/her arms through the arm openings 23.

When removing the outer garment 1 of the present invention, as shown in Fig. 6, the wearer puts his hands behind his back, grabs the area near the intersection X of the slit 3 and the cut line 4 with one hand, and while grabbing the area near the intersection X with the other hand, pulls the arm in the direction of the arrow in Fig. 6 to open the outer garment 1 along the cut line 4. By providing the slit 3, the intersection X can be located within the reach of the wearer's hands, so that the outer garment 1 can be easily torn along the cut line 4, resulting in an outer garment 1 that is easy to remove even by one person.
As another method of removing the garment (not shown), the outer garment 1 may be torn along the cut line 4 by grabbing the outer garment 1 near the head opening 21 with one's hand and pulling it.
In addition, since the slits 3 and the cut lines 4 are provided in the back portion 2b of the main body 2 where dirt and dangerous substances are less likely to adhere, dirt and dangerous substances that have adhered to the outer garment when it is taken off are less likely to adhere to the wearer's clothes or skin.
The outer garment 1' of the second embodiment can be put on and taken off in the same manner as the outer garment 1 of the first embodiment.

A method for manufacturing the outer garment 1 of the present invention will now be described.
For example, the material constituting the outer garment 1 is punched out using a die to prepare the front part 2a and the back part 2b that constitute the main body 2. A cutting line 4 is provided on the back part 2b.
Next, the front portion 2a and the back portion 2b are overlapped to form the joint L shown in Fig. 1. At this time, the joint L is not formed in the portion where the slit 3 is to be provided. There is no particular limitation on the method for forming the joint L, but it is sufficient if the method can prevent the intrusion of dirt and hazardous substances from the joint L.

When a synthetic resin film is used as the material for the outer garment 1, the joint L is formed by thermal processing. Examples of thermal processing include thermal lamination and high-frequency welder welding. Thermal processing can prevent the intrusion of dirt and hazardous substances.
In this case, the wider the joint L, the better the peel strength. If the peel strength of the joint L is weak when tearing along the cut line 4, the garment will peel off at the joint L and will not be able to tear along the cut line 4, which may make it difficult to take off the garment or may result in dirt or dangerous substances adhering to unexpected places.
Therefore, the width of the joint L, although it will vary depending on the welding method, is preferably set to a level that ensures a tensile strength equivalent to that of the synthetic resin film that constitutes the outer garment 1.

As described above, the outerwear of the present invention is easy to put on and take off due to the provision of slits and cut lines, and is disposable, as dirt and hazardous substances on the outerwear are less likely to adhere to the wearer's clothing or skin when the outerwear is removed.

The present invention can be used for disposable outerwear worn over clothing in medical settings, construction sites, and other locations to protect various workers from dirt and hazardous substances such as pathogens and pollutants that are harmful to the human body, and to allow them to work safely. It can also be used for simple outerwear, as well as specialized outerwear such as chemical protective clothing.

A disposable garment having a body portion for covering at least the torso of a wearer,
The main body has a head opening, a leg opening, and a pair of arm openings,
The back side region obtained by dividing the main body portion at approximately the center in the width direction in a side view has at least one slit extending upward from the leg side opening and a cut line extending from the head opening to the slit,
The cut line is disposed obliquely with respect to the longitudinal direction of the main body portion,
The position where the cut line intersects with the slit is below the starting end of the slit,
The disposable outerwear is characterized in that the garment can be removed by tearing the tear line. 2. The disposable garment of claim 1 , wherein the disposable garment is formed from a synthetic resin film. 3.
