Description

This invention relates to an assembly table that is primarily used for outdoor activities, and cooking utensils that can be used with the assembly table.

As an example of a collapsible table used mainly for outdoor activities, one listed in Non-Patent Document 1 is available on the market. This collapsible table has foldable legs on the table body, which can be folded up and stored when not in use. The table top of the table body is also formed with a cross-shaped slit for the burner grate and a circular hole for exposing the burner head, so that a burner can be attached to one side of the top and cooking can be done using cooking utensils such as pots, while tasks such as preparing food and serving food on plates can be done on the other side of the top.

When engaging in outdoor activities using the collapsible table shown in Non-Patent Document 1, various items are required, including cooking utensils such as pots and frying pans, but it is inconvenient to carry many items individually and it is easy to make mistakes such as leaving some of the necessary items at home.

Therefore, the objective of this invention is to make it possible to easily carry all the items necessary for outdoor activities together.

In order to solve the above problems, the present invention provides:
The assembly type table has a table body having a top plate and an extending storage groove capable of holding an article with an end portion of the article inserted therein.

This way, various items needed for outdoor activities (such as cooking utensils) can be easily carried together with the table itself, improving convenience and preventing mistakes such as leaving some of the necessary items at home.

In the above configuration,
It is preferable that the storage grooves are provided in the top plate so as to extend in parallel to each other on the lower surface side thereof so as to form a pair.

In this way, the storage grooves hold the items securely, preventing them from falling out while being carried.

In each of the above configurations,
The table further includes a heat shield that is detachable from the table body and has a support portion that can be inserted into the storage groove.
It is preferable that, when in use, the heat shield is arranged alongside the top plate, and, when not in use, the heat shield is stored in the storage groove by inserting the support portion of the heat shield into the storage groove.

In this way, heat from the heat shield is less likely to be transferred to the top plate, which is a separate part, so there is no risk of it interfering with tasks such as preparing food on the top plate or serving food on plates. Furthermore, because the heat shield is designed to be stored in a storage groove in the table body when not in use, it is possible to avoid the trouble of being unable to use this assembly table during outdoor activities due to mistakes such as leaving the separate heat shield at home.

In addition, by preparing a heat shield that fits the shape of the burner's grate or burner head, it may be possible to use a common assembly table for burners of various shapes.

In the configuration in which the heat shield plate is detachable,
When not in use, it is preferable that the top plate and the heat shield plate are stored so as to overlap each other vertically.
The table further includes a leg portion that is detachable from the table body,
It is preferable that the device is configured to be stored in the storage groove when not in use.

This allows the device to be stored more compactly, further improving portability.

In each of the above configurations,
It is preferable that a plurality of the storage grooves are formed, and the heat shield plate and the legs are stored in different storage grooves.

This allows many of the components that make up this assembly table to be stored, further increasing the compactness when stored.

In each of the above configurations,
The leg portion is
a support member having an insertion portion that is inserted into the storage groove and an extension portion that is bent downward and extends from the insertion portion, and in use, the insertion portion supports the support portion of the heat shield from below;
a pair of insertion grooves for inserting the support member are provided on both ends in a width direction of the plate-like member, the pair of insertion grooves being detachable from the support member;
It is preferable that, when in use, the extension portion is inserted into the insertion groove to place the standing member in an upright state, while, when not in use, the insertion portion is inserted into the insertion groove to store the top plate and the plate surfaces of the standing member in a flush state.

This not only allows the legs (standing members) to be stored compactly, but also improves their appearance when stored.

Furthermore, a cooking utensil for an assembly-type table can be constructed for use with the assembly-type table, which has a main body and a support part that can be inserted into the storage groove. This cooking utensil for an assembly-type table can be a pot that has the main body with an opening at the top and a lid that covers the opening of the main body.

This way, the cooking utensils used with the assembly table can be carried along with the table, improving convenience during outdoor activities.

In the collapsible table of this invention, a storage groove is provided on the top plate of the table body, into which an end of an item can be inserted and the item can be held, so that various items necessary for outdoor activities (such as cooking utensils) can be easily carried together with the table body. This improves convenience and prevents mistakes such as leaving some of the necessary items at home.

One embodiment of the assembly table 1 according to the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. This assembly table 1 is used primarily for outdoor activities such as camping and mountain climbing, and as shown in the perspective view of FIG. 1 and the exploded perspective view of FIG. 2, has a table body 10, a heat shield plate 20, and legs 30.

The table body 10 has a rectangular top plate 11 for performing tasks such as preparing food and serving food on plates. On both ends of the top plate 11, a pair of storage grooves 12 (12a, 12b) with a U-shaped cross section are provided in parallel and in two levels, one above the other, over the entire length of the long side. The table body 10 is formed by extrusion of aluminum material. Note that instead of forming the storage grooves 12 (12a, 12b) in two levels, one above the other, they can also be formed side by side.

The heat shield 20 is a rectangular member made of stainless steel metal plate, and is formed with a cross-shaped slit 21 for passing the trivet 41 of the burner 40 (see Figure 3) through, and a circular hole 22 for exposing the burner head 42. At both ends of the heat shield 20, a pair of support parts 23 are formed that are machined into a shape that allows them to be inserted into the storage groove 12b formed in the table body 10. When in use, the burner 40 is set on the assembly table 1, as shown in Figure 3. The shapes of the slit 21 and hole 22 can be changed as appropriate to correspond to the shapes of the trivet 41 and burner head 42 of the burner 40 being used.

The heat shield 20 is detachable from the table body 10. When the assembly table 1 is in use, the top plate 11 and the heat shield 20 are arranged side by side, while when not in use, the support part 23 of the heat shield 20 is inserted into the storage groove 12b of the table body 10, so that the top plate 11 and the heat shield 20 are stored so that they overlap vertically. When the heat shield 20 is stored in this way, it can be carried together with the table body 10, so that the trouble of being unable to use the assembly table 1 during outdoor activities due to mistakes such as leaving the heat shield 20, which is a separate part, at home can be avoided. Moreover, since the assembly table 1 can be made even more compact when stored compared to when in use, portability can be further improved. The shape of the heat shield 20 is not limited to a rectangle, and it can also be, for example, a circle.

The legs 30 are provided at both ends of the long side of the table body 10 and are detachable from the table body 10. The leg 31 at one end (the leg 31 on the right side in FIG. 1) is made of a thin rod material that is L-shaped in a side view. When in use, the short side of the L shape is inserted into the storage groove 12 (upper storage groove 12a) of the table body, and the long side of the L shape is in an upright state. On the other hand, when not in use, the long side of the L shape is inserted into the storage groove 12 (upper storage groove 12a) so that the leg 31 is stored compactly. The lengths of the short and long sides of the L shape can be appropriately determined taking into consideration the stability of the leg when in use, the height of the table body, and the like. In this embodiment, the leg 31 is annular, but it may also be in a shape with a broken part (for example, a C-shape).

The leg 32 on the other end (the leg 32 on the left side in FIG. 1) includes a support member 33 and a standing member 34. The support member 33 is a member formed by joining thin rods into a ring shape so as to be L-shaped in a side view, and has an insertion portion 33a that is inserted into the storage groove 12 (upper storage groove 12a) of the table body 10 and an extension portion 33b that is bent at a right angle from the insertion portion 33a and extends downward. When in use, the support portion 23 of the heat shield plate 20 is supported from below by the insertion portion 33a. In this embodiment, the support member 33 is ring-shaped, but it may be partially interrupted, as with the leg 31 on one end. In addition, the bending angle of the insertion portion 33a and the extension portion 33b is not limited to a right angle, and may be, for example, 120 degrees, so that the extension portion 33b spreads out in a V-shape relative to the insertion portion 33a.

The standing member 34 is a detachable member for the support member 33, which is made of a plate-like member and has a pair of insertion grooves 35a, 35b for inserting the support member 33, which extend parallel to both ends in the width direction and in two stages. The standing member 34 is formed by extrusion of an aluminum material, just like the table body 10, and has the same cross-sectional shape as the table body 10. Therefore, the two types of members, the table body 10 and the standing member 34, can be cut out from a common extrusion member, which reduces the manufacturing costs of each member.

When in use, the extension portion 33b of the support member 33 is inserted into the insertion groove 35a of the standing member 34 to place the standing member 34 in an upright state. On the other hand, when not in use, the insertion portion 33a of the support member 33 is inserted into the insertion groove 35a of the standing member 34, and the standing member 34 is stored so that the plate surfaces of the top plate 11 and the standing member 34 are completely flush. In this way, by making them completely flush, the design when stored can be improved.

In this embodiment, legs 31, 32 with different shapes are used at one end and the other end of the table body 10, but both ends can also have legs 31 made of only the thin rod material used at the one end. Also, both ends can have the erected members 34 used at the other end.

The stored state of this collapsible table 1 is shown in Figures 4 to 6. Figure 4 is a perspective view seen from diagonally above, Figure 5 is a perspective view seen from diagonally below, and Figure 6 is an exploded perspective view.

When storing, from the assembled state shown in Figure 1, the heat shield 20 is removed from the insertion portion 33a of the support member 33, and the leg 31 on one side and the leg 32 on the other side are pulled out from the storage groove 12a of the table body 10, and the leg 32 on the other side is separated into the support member 33 and the standing member 34. Then, the heat shield 20 is turned upside down, and one end of the support portion 23 of the heat shield 20 is inserted into the storage groove 12b formed on the lower side of the table body 10. At this time, the top plate 11 of the table body 10 and the heat shield 20 are partially overlapping each other vertically (see Figures 4 and 5).

Then, rotate the standing member 34 90 degrees from its standing state to make its plate surface horizontal, insert the insertion portion 33a of the support member 33 into the insertion groove 35a on the side closer to the plate surface of the standing member 34, and insert the other end of the support portion 23 of the heat shield plate 20, one end of which has already been inserted into the storage groove 12b of the table body 10, into the insertion groove 35b on the side farther from the plate surface of the standing member 34. Also, insert the long side of the L-shape of one side of the leg 31 into the storage groove 12a formed on the upper stage side of the table body 10. Then, push the standing member 34 horizontally until it abuts against the top plate 11 of the table body 10. In this way, the table body 10, the heat shield plate 20, and the leg 30 (31, 32) that constitute the assembly type table 1 can be stored together and compactly.

In addition, by storing the heat shields 20 and the legs 31 in different storage grooves 12a, 12b of the table body 10 and different insertion grooves 35a, 35b of the erecting member 34, the components that make up this assembly table 1 can be stored in multiple layers in the vertical direction, further increasing the compactness when stored.

This assembly table 1 can also store a cooking utensil 50 that is used together. As an example of this cooking utensil 50, as shown in FIG. 7, there is a pot (hereinafter, the same reference numeral as the cooking utensil 50 is used) having a main body 51 with an opening at the top and a lid 52 that covers the opening of the main body 51. The bottom surface of this pot 50 is approximately square, and support parts 53a and 53b are formed on the four sides of the opening of the main body 51 and on the four sides around the lid 52. When the lid 52 is provided on the main body 51, the support parts 53a and 53b formed on the main body 51 and the lid 52 overlap each other to form an integrated support part 53. This integrated support part 53 has a thickness that can be inserted into the storage groove 12b of the table main body 10. The shape of the pot 50 is not limited to a square shape, and can be other shapes such as a circle as long as a pair of support parts 53 (53a, 53b) that can be inserted into the storage groove 12b are formed. Also, the lid 52 is not a required component, and the main body 51 can be used alone. Also, the cooking utensil 50 can be a type other than a pot 50.

The storage state including the cooking utensils is shown in Figs. 8 to 10. Fig. 8 is a perspective view seen from diagonally above, Fig. 9 is a perspective view seen from diagonally below, and Fig. 10 is an exploded perspective view.

When storing, in the same manner as described above, from the assembled state shown in FIG. 1, the heat shield 20 is removed from the insertion portion 33a of the support member 33, and the leg 31 on one side and the leg 32 on the other side are pulled out from the storage groove 12a of the table body 10, and the leg 32 on the other side is separated into the support member 33 and the standing member 34. Then, with the lid portion 52 attached to the body portion 51 of the pot 50, the support portion 53 is inserted into the storage groove 12b formed on the lower stage side of the table body 10, and the heat shield 20 is turned upside down and one end side of the support portion 23 of the heat shield 20 is inserted into the same storage groove 12b. Note that when the support portion 53 is too thick with the lid portion 52 attached to the body portion 51, and cannot be inserted into the storage groove 12b, the body portion 51 and the lid portion 52 may be inserted separately into the storage groove 12b.

Furthermore, the standing member 34 is rotated 90 degrees from its standing state to make its plate surface horizontal, and the insertion portion 33a of the support member 33 is inserted into the insertion groove 35a on the side closer to the plate surface of the standing member 34, and the other end of the support portion 23 of the heat shield plate 20, one end of which has already been inserted into the storage groove 12b of the table body 10, is inserted into the insertion groove 35b on the side farther from the plate surface of the standing member 34. Also, the long side of the L-shape of one side of the leg portion 31 is inserted into the storage groove 12a formed on the upper stage side of the table body 10. Then, the standing member 34 is pushed horizontally until it abuts against the top plate 11 of the table body 10. In this way, the pot 50 (cooking utensil 50) used in the assembly type table 1 can be stored together with the table body 10, heat shield plate 20, and leg portion 30 (31, 32) that constitute the assembly type table 1 in a compact manner.

In this embodiment, the heat shield 20 and the pot 50 are stored in the storage groove 12b, but the items to be stored are not particularly limited, and multiple pots can be stored, or different types of items such as a pot and a frying pan can be stored at the same time.

The above embodiments are merely examples in all respects, and the material, shape, number, arrangement, etc. of each component can be changed as appropriate as long as the object of the invention, which is to make it possible to easily carry all items necessary for outdoor activities together, can be achieved.

For example, in the above description, an assembly table 1 is shown in which the top plate 11 and the heat shield plate 20 are arranged side by side, but the assembly table 1 can also have the entire upper surface as the top plate 11 and no heat shield plate 20.

In addition, in the above, a pot was given as an example of cooking utensil 50, but a griddle, frying pan, grill, colander, etc. can also be stored in the table body 10 in the same way.
