Description

The present invention relates to a waterproof panel fence water-stopping structure and a water-stopping material used therein, which prevents flooding damage to coastal buildings and roads caused by river flooding due to typhoons, or tsunamis and high tides near the coast.

Conventionally, to prevent this type of flood damage from occurring, waterproof panel fences have been installed between the posts, and rubber water-stopping material has been placed between the waterproof panel fence and the posts to prevent water from seeping in through the waterproof panel fence.

For example, Patent Document 1 discloses a waterproof panel fence structure in which a hollow tubular (semi-cylindrical) rubber gasket made of a rubber elastic material such as CR (Chloroprene) is attached as a vertical water-stopping material, and the rubber gasket seals the gap between the waterproof panel fence and the posts to stop water (see paragraph [0029] of the specification of Patent Document 1, Figure 3 of the drawings, etc.).

However, the water-stopping structure of the waterproof panel fence described in Patent Document 1 needs to use the restoring force of the rubber gasket to counter the water pressure when flooded, which inevitably increases the restoring force of the rubber gasket, creating the problem that the rubber gasket cannot be inserted unless a lubricant is used when fitting it, as the repulsive force is too high. This makes it time-consuming to fit the rubber gasket, which is a water-stopping material, and reduces the overall workability of the waterproof panel fence installation work, leading to increased costs.

Patent document 2 also discloses a waterproof panel fence waterproof structure in which the aforementioned hollow tube-shaped (semi-cylindrical) rubber gasket is attached to only one side of the waterproof panel, and the other side of the waterproof panel is mechanically pressed with a screw by a support member to stop water from entering (see paragraphs [0027] to [0058] of the specification of patent document 2, and Figures 9 to 12 of the drawings, etc.).

The water-stopping structure of the waterproof panel fence described in Patent Document 2 presses one side of the waterproof panel with a support member, eliminating the problem that the rubber gasket cannot be inserted without using a lubricant when attached. However, the water-stopping structure of the waterproof panel fence described in Patent Document 2 requires pressing one side of the waterproof panel by turning the screw of the support member, which is time-consuming and does not solve the problem of ease of use. Furthermore, because the rubber gasket is only on one side, not only is there a risk of slight water leakage, but there is also the problem that the fixing bracket of the support member may come off when the waterproof panel is pressed by water pressure.

The present invention was conceived in consideration of the above-mentioned problems, and its purpose is to provide a water-stopping structure for a waterproof panel fence that is easy to install and has a low risk of water leakage, and a water-stopping material for use therein.

The waterproof panel fence water-stopping structure according to the first aspect of the present invention is a waterproof panel fence water-stopping structure for preventing inundation due to floods and tsunamis, and comprises a plurality of posts installed at a predetermined interval, and a waterproof panel installed between the plurality of posts, the plurality of posts having grooves extending in the vertical direction, the grooves of adjacent posts being arranged at intervals so as to face each other, the waterproof panel being fitted between the grooves, and a gap between the inside of the grooves and the waterproof panel is filled with water. a water-stopping material is interposed between the support pillar and the groove to prevent water leakage, the water-stopping material has an U-shaped horizontal cross section consisting of a flat base that abuts the support pillar and an intersection that intersects with the base at a predetermined acute angle, and is attached to both the front and back sides of the inside of the groove so that the open end where the base and the intersection are separated becomes the side to which water pressure is applied when the water level rises, and the waterproof panel is installed by inserting the water-stopping material between the water-stopping materials attached to both the inside sides of the groove .

The water-stopping structure of the waterproof panel fence of the second invention is characterized in that, in the first invention, a notch is formed in the vertical direction on the outer surface of the base end side that connects to the base of the intersection, which is the side opposite the side where the waterproof panel is inserted.

The waterproof panel fence water-stopping structure according to the third invention is characterized in that in the first or second invention, the open end of the intersection is formed with a tapered surface that gradually becomes thinner toward the tip.

According to the first to third inventions, the water-stopping material has an open end and a V-shaped horizontal cross section, so there is no problem that the repulsive force is too high to insert unless a lubricant is used, and the workability during installation is excellent. Furthermore, according to the first to third inventions, the water-stopping material is attached so that the open end of the V-shaped horizontal cross section is the side that is subjected to water pressure when the water level rises, so the water pressure when the water level rises pushes open the base and intersection of the water-stopping material from the open end, pressing the water-stopping material against the support pillar or waterproof panel, and there is little risk of water leakage.

In particular, according to the second invention, a notch is formed in the outer surface of the intersection of the water-stopping material in the vertical direction, making it easy to insert the water-stopping material into the gap between the support and the waterproof panel on both sides of the waterproof panel, and not only does it improve the work efficiency during installation, but it also reduces the force applied to the adhesive part, reducing the risk of the water-stopping material peeling off.

In particular, according to the third invention, the open end of the intersection of the water-stopping material is formed with a tapered surface that gradually becomes thinner toward the tip. Therefore, when the intersection of the water-stopping material is pressed against the waterproof panel by the water pressure when the water level rises, the tip of the open end of the intersection easily follows the unevenness of the waterproof panel, thereby improving watertightness and reducing the risk of water leakage.

The following describes in detail the waterproof structure of a waterproof panel fence according to an embodiment of the present invention and the waterproof material used therein, with reference to the drawings.

[Waterproof panel fence water-stop structure]
The waterproof panel fence water-stopping structure according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to Figures 1 to 9. Figure 1 is a perspective view showing a waterproof panel fence water-stopping structure 10 according to an embodiment of the present invention. Figure 2 is a view showing the waterproof panel fence water-stopping structure 10 according to this embodiment, where (a) is a front view as seen from the flooded area side, and (b) is a plan view.

As shown in Figures 1 and 2, the waterproof panel fence water-stopping structure 10 according to this embodiment is installed on the boundary between a general residential area where public facilities such as buildings, roads, and railways are constructed, and a flooded area near a river where there is a risk of flood damage. This waterproof panel fence water-stopping structure 10 has the function of preventing flood damage to buildings and roads in coastal areas caused by river flooding due to typhoons, tsunamis and high tides near the coast, etc.

The X direction shown in the figure is the width direction X in which the waterproof panel fences are connected, and the Y direction shown in the figure is the up-down direction Y. The Z direction shown in the figure is the depth direction, which is the horizontal direction perpendicular to the width direction X, and the surface seen from the flooded area side is called the front, and the surface seen from the opposite residential area side is called the back (the same applies below).

The waterproof panel fence water-stopping structure 10 is composed of a number of posts 2, ..., 2 erected on the ground in the width direction X at a predetermined interval according to the width of the waterproof panel 3, a number of waterproof panels 3, ..., 3 inserted between the posts 2, and water-stopping materials 1 interposed on the front and back of the posts 2 and the waterproof panels 3.

(Support)
3 shows only the support 2 of the waterproof panel fence of this embodiment, where (a) is a front view seen from the flooded area side, and (b) is a plan view. As shown in Figs. 1 to 3, the support 2 of this embodiment is made of an H-shaped steel 20, and the lower part 2a is buried in the ground G and erected with the longitudinal direction of the H-shaped steel 20 as the up-down direction. This H-shaped steel 20 is composed of a pair of flanges 21, 21 and a web 22 erected vertically between these flanges 21, 21. Also, as shown in Figs. 1 and 2, the support 2 is erected on the ground G so that the webs 22 of adjacent support 2 face each other, and the space surrounded by the flanges 21, 21 and the web 22 is a groove portion, and the waterproof panel 3 is inserted into the space to construct the waterproof panel fence.

In this embodiment, the pillar 2 is illustrated as being buried directly in the ground G, but it goes without saying that it may also be erected on top of a reinforced concrete foundation via an anchor plate.

In addition, while the support pillars 2 have been described as being made of H-shaped steel 20, the support pillars according to the present invention may be any support pillars, such as channel steel with the backs of the webs joined together, that have a groove into which the waterproof panel 3 described below can be inserted, and that have the strength to withstand water pressure during flooding.

Next, the support 2' according to the first modification will be described with reference to Figure 4. Figure 4 is a plan view mainly showing the support according to the first modification of the waterproof panel fence water-stopping structure 10. As shown in Figure 4, the difference between the support 2' according to the first modification and the support 2 described above is that the support 2' according to the first modification has a spacer 23' attached by welding or the like to one flange 21 of the support 2 made of H-shaped steel, and a waterproof panel 3 having a thickness (depth) thinner than the distance between the flanges 21, 21 of the support 2 is interposed.

In the illustrated embodiment, the spacer 23' is made of angle iron, but it can be a spacer of other shapes, such as a channel steel that is one size smaller than the support 2 made of H-shaped steel or a dice-shaped member. In short, the shape and material of the spacer 23' are not particularly limited as long as it is a member that can adjust the gap between the grooves of the support 2 to match the thickness of the waterproof panel 3.

(Waterproof panel)
5 shows only the waterproof panel 3 of the waterproof panel fence, where (a) is a front view from the flooded area side, and (b) is a plan view. As shown in FIG. 5, the waterproof panel 3 is composed of waterproof panel units 31 in which five square steel pipes 30 are bolted to each other, and the waterproof panel units 31 are bolted to each other in multiple stages (three stages in the illustrated embodiment). The waterproof panel units 31 are sealed from the outside by sealing the gaps with a seal not shown. Of course, it goes without saying that the waterproof panel units 31 may be sealed from the outside by inserting a sealant made of a rubber elastic body to ensure watertightness.

In addition, the square steel pipes 30 may be welded together to form an integrated structure, and may be made of solid material rather than hollow pipe material. In short, the waterproof panel 3 is not limited to being made of square steel pipes 30, and may be any panel body that is rectangular in shape as viewed from the front and capable of blocking water intrusion.

However, square steel pipes 30 are preferable because they are less likely to bend, have high bending strength, excellent cross-sectional performance, and can be manufactured inexpensively. In other words, by constructing the waterproof panel 3 from square steel pipes 30, it is less likely to bend due to water pressure, and it is possible to increase the distance between the posts 2, reducing the installation cost of the waterproof panel fence and shortening the installation time.

[Water-stopping material]
Next, the water-stopping material 1 used in the waterproof panel fence water-stopping structure 10 according to this embodiment will be described with reference to Figures 6 to 8. Figure 6 is a perspective view showing the water-stopping material 1 according to the embodiment of the present invention with the middle portion omitted, and Figure 7 is a horizontal cross-sectional view showing the water-stopping material 1 according to the embodiment of the present invention. Also, Figure 8 is a partially enlarged plan view showing the vicinity of the support post 2 of the waterproof panel fence water-stopping structure 10 according to this embodiment.

本実施形態に係る止水材1は、EPDM(ethylene propylene diene monomer)、CR(Chloroprene)ゴム、SBR(styrene-butadiene rubber)等の常温でゴム弾性を示すゴム弾性体(ゴム材)からなるゴムパッキンである。 The water-stopping material 1 according to this embodiment is a rubber packing made of a rubber elastic body (rubber material) that exhibits rubber elasticity at room temperature, such as EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer), CR (chloroprene) rubber, or SBR (styrene-butadiene rubber). The water-stopping material according to the present invention is not limited to a rubber elastic body, but can be any material, such as a viscoelastic body, that can be interposed between the support 2 and the waterproof panel 3 and maintain watertightness and seal. The water-stopping material according to the present invention can also be in a form in which the periphery of a core material such as metal is covered with a rubber elastic body or a viscoelastic body. However, since the waterproof panel fence is installed outdoors, it is preferable that the water-stopping material according to the present invention be a rubber material with high aging resistance and weather resistance, such as the exemplified EPDM, CR rubber, or SBR.

As shown in Figures 6 and 7, the waterproofing material 1 according to this embodiment is made up of a flat base 11 that contacts the support 2 and an intersection 12 that intersects with the base 11 at a predetermined angle, and has an U-shaped horizontal cross section.

As shown in FIG. 7, the illustrated water-stopping material 1 has a base 11 and an intersection 12 that intersect at an intersection angle α. In the illustrated embodiment, the intersection angle α is set to 60°, and the water-stopping material 1 according to the present invention preferably has an acute intersection angle α of α<90°, and more preferably has an intersection angle α in the range of 50°≦α≦70°. After the water-stopping material 1 is bonded to the support 2, when attaching the waterproof panel 3 between the support 2, 2, not only is there no need to fold the water-stopping material 1, but there is also less resistance when draining water that has accumulated between the support 2 and the left and right ends of the waterproof panel 3 when the water level is reduced, as described below.

As shown in Figs. 6 and 7, the water-stopping material 1 has a vertically continuous notch 12a formed on the outer surface of the base end side of the intersection 12 that connects to the base 11. This notch 12a has the function of providing a rigidly weakened portion at the base end of the intersection 12, and reducing the repulsive force that biases the intersection 12 away from the base 11 due to the restoring force of the water-stopping material 1 made of an elastic body inserted in the gap between the support 2 and the waterproof panel 3. Therefore, the notch 12a can reduce the risk that the intersection 12 is pressed during flooding (when the water level rises) or when it is installed, causing the base 11 bonded to the support 2 to peel off from the end that is continuous with the intersection 12. The notch is not limited to being continuous, and may be formed intermittently.

In addition, as shown in Figures 6 and 7, the open end of the intersection 12 of the waterproofing material 1 has a tapered surface 12b that gradually becomes thinner toward the tip. This is to make it easier to follow and blend in with the unevenness of the waterproof panel 3, such as the steps at the joints between the square steel pipes 30.

Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 8, the water stop material 1 is installed so that the open end of the base 11 and intersection 12 of the water stop material 1 installed on the front side is on the outside (the side away from the support 2), and the open end of the water stop material 1 installed on the back side is on the inside. In other words, the water stop material 1 is attached so that the open end is the side that is subjected to water pressure when the water level rises, as described below. For this reason, even if the material of the water stop material 1 is selected so that the repulsive force of the rubber elastic body (rubber material) is small, the water pressure when the water level rises will push the base 11 and intersection 12 of the water stop material 1 from the open end and press the water stop material 1 against the support 2 and waterproof panel 3.

[Operation and Function of Water Stopping Material and Water Stopping Structure]
Next, the operation and function of the above-mentioned water-stopping material 1 and the water-stopping structure 10 will be described in detail with reference to Fig. 9. Fig. 9 is a schematic diagram showing the state of the water-stopping structure 10 of the waterproof panel fence according to this embodiment when the water level rises and falls, where (a) shows the state when the water level rises and (b) shows the state when the water level falls.

As shown in Figure 9(a), when the water level rises, water surges into the front side of the waterproof panel 3 in the aforementioned water-stopping structure 10, and water pressure acts in the direction of the arrow in the figure. At this time, water pressure acts on the front-side water-stopping material 1 from the open end of the intersection 12 in the direction of the arrow in the figure, pushing open the base 11 and intersection 12 of the water-stopping material 1 and forcing the water-stopping material 1 against the support 2 and waterproof panel 3.

As shown in Figure 9(a), when the water level rises, just like the waterstop material 1 on the front side, the water that has overflowed the waterstop material 1 on the back side also acts on the waterstop material 1 on the front side, causing water pressure to act from the open end of the intersection 12 in the direction of the arrow in the figure, pushing open the base 11 and intersection 12 of the waterstop material 1 and forcing the waterstop material 1 against the support 2 and waterproof panel 3.

The water-stopping structure 10 can therefore seal and stop water by utilizing the water pressure acting when the water level rises, in addition to the repulsive force of the water-stopping material 1 made of rubber elastic material. This means that water can be stopped without leaking even if the repulsive force of the material itself required to stop water between the support 2 and the waterproof panel 3 is reduced. This not only solves the conventional problem of being unable to insert the panel without using a lubricant because the repulsive force is too high, but also makes it possible to easily insert and install the waterproof panel 3 manually between the pair of water-stopping materials 1 on the front and back sides that are bonded to the support 2.

Furthermore, as mentioned above, the water-stopping material 1 has a notch 12a formed therein, so that even if the intersection 12 is repeatedly pressed during flooding (when the water level rises), etc., the risk of the base 11 adhered to the support 2 peeling off from the end portion connected to the intersection 12 can be reduced.

In addition, as mentioned above, the water-stopping material 1 has a tapered surface 12b where the open end of the intersection 12 gradually becomes thinner toward the tip, so it easily conforms to the unevenness of the waterproof panel 3, such as the steps at the joints between the square steel pipes 30, and can therefore stop water leaking without any leakage.

On the other hand, as shown in Figure 9 (b), when the water level recedes, the water pressure that acted when the water level rose disappears, and the position of the waterproof panel 3 moves back along the depth direction Z to its original position. At that time, the water that had accumulated between the support 2 and the front-side waterstop material 1 and the rear-side waterstop material 1 is drained down to the water level on the flooded area side. At this time, a slight water pressure is applied to the front-side waterstop material 1 due to the difference in water level, but because the inclination angle of the intersection 12 is acute, the unglued intersection 12 moves toward the base 11 in the direction of the arrow in the figure, allowing the accumulated water to be drained without hindrance.

According to the waterproof panel fence water-stopping structure 10 of this embodiment described above, the open end of the water-stopping material 1 with a U-shaped horizontal cross section is attached so that it is on the side that is subjected to water pressure when the water level rises. Therefore, when the water level rises, the water pressure pushes open the base 11 and intersection 12 of the water-stopping material 1 from the open end, and the water-stopping material 1 is pressed against the support 2 and waterproof panel 3, so there is little risk of water leakage even if the repulsive force of the rubber material is reduced.

The water-stopping structure 10 can reduce the repulsive force of the rubber material, so that the waterproof panel 3 can be easily inserted between the pair of water-stopping materials 1 on the opposite side to the flooded area that are attached to the support 2 by hand, improving workability during installation. This solves the problem that the repulsive force is too high to insert the panel without using a lubricant.

The above provides a detailed explanation of the waterproof panel fence water-stopping structure 10 and water-stopping material 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention. However, the above-mentioned and illustrated embodiments merely show one embodiment realized in carrying out the present invention, and the technical scope of the present invention should not be interpreted in a limited manner based on the illustrated embodiment.

In particular, as the water-stopping structure 10 of the waterproof panel fence according to the embodiment of the present invention, an example has been described in which a water-stopping material 1 with a U-shaped horizontal cross section is installed on both the front side, which is the water-prone side, and the living area side, which is the opposite side (rear side). However, the water-stopping structure of the waterproof panel fence according to the present invention may have a water-stopping material 1 with a U-shaped horizontal cross section on one side, and another water-stopping material, such as a hollow tube-shaped (semi-cylindrical) rubber gasket described in Patent Document 1, on the other side. This is because even if only one side is used as the water-stopping material 1, the repulsive force of the rubber gasket can be reduced, and the problem that the rubber gasket cannot be inserted without using a lubricant when it is attached can be solved.
