Description

This disclosure relates to vehicle seats.

Conventionally, there is known a vehicle seat that changes from an expanded state in which a user of the vehicle can sit to a stored state by moving the seat cushion (see, for example, Patent Document 1). The vehicle seat of Patent Document 1 includes a seat cushion, a seat back, and a seat belt buckle that fastens a seat belt (shoulder belt in Patent Document 1). The seat belt buckle is disposed on the seat cushion and is fixed to the floor via a belt-shaped member (safety belt in Patent Document 1) and an anchor part. In the vehicle seat of Patent Document 1, when storing the seat, the user moves the seat cushion around the front hinge to an inverted position, and the seat back moves around the rear hinge to a substantially horizontal position. This causes the seat to change from an expanded state in which a user can sit to a stored state in which a user cannot sit.

Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 6-24291

In the vehicle seat of Patent Document 1, when the seat cushion moves to the inverted position, the seat cushion separates from the anchor portion. This causes the length of the belt-shaped member to be insufficient, and there is a risk that the seat belt buckle will fall off the seat cushion. The vehicle seat of Patent Document 1 is equipped with a box to prevent the seat belt buckle from falling to the floor. The box stores the seat belt buckle that is not engaged with the seat belt when the seat cushion moves to the inverted position.

However, when the seat is put into the stowed state, the seat cushion may come close to the anchor portion. In such a case, the length of the belt-shaped member is excessive, and the seat belt buckle may be able to move on the seat cushion. In this state, when the seat is returned to the unfolded state, the seat belt buckle may be pulled by the belt-shaped member and move, possibly causing it to get caught on an obstacle on the seat cushion or on the seat back.

The objective of the present disclosure is to provide a vehicle seat that can prevent the seat belt buckle from being able to move on the seat cushion when the seat is in the stowed position.

The vehicle seat according to the present disclosure is a vehicle seat in which the seat cushion is moved rearward and downward in conjunction with the operation of folding the seat back onto the seat cushion, and is displaced from an unfolded state in which an occupant can sit to a folded and stored storage state. The vehicle seat includes a seat belt buckle, a belt-shaped member, and a restricting member. The seat belt buckle is stored in a storage portion recessed in the upper surface of the seat cushion. The belt-shaped member extends from the seat belt buckle through the storage portion to below the seat cushion and is connected to an anchor portion fixed to the vehicle body side. The restricting member is provided at a predetermined length along the longitudinal direction of the belt-shaped member from the vicinity of the anchor portion of the belt-shaped member, and restricts bending of the belt-shaped member. In the unfolded state, the seat belt buckle is disposed at a first position spaced from the anchor portion toward the front of the vehicle, and in the stored state, the seat belt buckle is retreated from the first position so as to approach the anchor portion and is disposed at a second position rearward of the front end of the restricting member.

With this vehicle seat, by disposing the seat buckle in the second position, the belt-shaped member is folded at the end of the restricting member, and the restricting portion absorbs the excess length of the belt-shaped member. Therefore, when the seat is in the stowed state, the excess length of the belt-shaped member can be prevented from causing the seat belt buckle to protrude and move above the upper surface of the seat cushion.

The belt-shaped member may be set to a length that extends from the anchor portion toward the front of the vehicle when in the unfolded state, preventing the seat belt buckle from slipping out of the storage portion. When the vehicle seat is in the stored state, the first portion that is not restricted by the restricting member may be folded back rearward above the second portion that is restricted by the restricting member.

This configuration makes it possible to more reliably prevent the seat belt buckle from coming out of the storage compartment onto the seat cushion when in the deployed or stored state.

The restricting member may be formed in a cylindrical shape through which the belt-shaped member can be inserted. The restricting member may be provided so that its end on the anchor portion side overlaps with the anchor portion.

With this configuration, the anchor portion can restrict the movement of the restricting member, thereby suppressing changes in the orientation of the restricting member. This makes it possible to prevent the belt-shaped member from moving due to the restriction member being misaligned, particularly in the stored state. In addition, by inserting the belt-shaped member through the restricting member, movement of the belt-shaped member in the up, down, left, and right directions can be further suppressed.

In the stored state, the seat belt buckle may abut against the restricting member via the first portion.

With this configuration, the seat belt buckle can press down on the restricting member from above, so that the orientation of the restricting member in the stored state can be more reliably prevented from changing.

The belt-shaped member may have a surface facing the vehicle width direction at the connection part with the seat belt buckle when stored in the storage part. The belt-shaped member may have a surface facing the vertical direction at the connection part with the anchor part. The belt-shaped member may rotate 90 degrees from the connection part with the anchor part to the connection part with the seat belt buckle. When the storage part is provided on one end side of the seat cushion in the vehicle width direction, the seat belt buckle may be offset to the other end side of the regulating member in the vehicle width direction, and when the storage part is provided on the other end side of the seat cushion in the vehicle width direction, the seat belt buckle may be offset to the one end side of the regulating member in the vehicle width direction.

This configuration helps prevent sudden twisting of the rotating part.

This disclosure provides a vehicle seat that can prevent the seat belt buckle from being able to move on the seat cushion when the seat is in the stowed position.

One embodiment of the present disclosure will be described below with reference to the drawings. In the following specification, the longitudinal direction of the vehicle is indicated as Q in the drawings, and the front is indicated as F. The width direction (left-right direction) of the vehicle is indicated as P in the drawings, and the right side as viewed from the rear of the vehicle is indicated as R. Furthermore, the vertical direction of the vehicle is indicated as G in the drawings, and the upper side is indicated as U.

As shown in Figures 1 and 2, a vehicle seat 1 installed in a vehicle C includes a seat body 2, a seat belt buckle 4, an anchor portion 6, a belt-shaped member 8, and a restricting member 10. As shown in Figure 1, the vehicle C of this embodiment is a three-row seat vehicle including a first-row seat (not shown) located at the very front of the vehicle C, a second-row seat 7 located behind the first-row seat, and the seat body 2 located behind the second-row seat 7.

The vehicle C has a recess 5 in the rear. The recess 5 is provided by recessing the floor panel 3 of the vehicle C downward. The recess 5 accommodates the seat body 2 and a spare tire 12 disposed below the seat body 2. In this embodiment, two seat bodies 2 are arranged side by side in the vehicle width direction P, and a seat belt buckle 4 is disposed on the inside of the vehicle in the vehicle width direction P (see FIG. 6).

The seat body 2 has a seat cushion 2a and a seat back 2b. The seat cushion 2a functions as a seating surface on which a user of the vehicle C sits. In this embodiment, the rear of the seat cushion 2a is supported by the seat frame 2c via a rear link mechanism 14. The front of the seat cushion 2a is supported by the floor panel 3 via a front link mechanism 16. The rear link mechanism 14 and the front link mechanism 16 support the seat cushion 2a of the seat body 2 so that it can move to the anchor portion 6. In this embodiment, the rear of the seat body 2 and the seat frame 2c of the seat body 2 rotate upward with the front link mechanism 16 as a fulcrum. In this way, the seat body 2 and the seat frame 2c rotate, allowing the user to remove the spare tire 12 located below the seat body 2.

As shown in FIG. 2, the seat cushion 2a includes a storage section 2d recessed on the upper surface into which the seat belt buckle 4 can be stored. The storage section 2d is formed by hollowing out the seat cushion 2a to match the shape of the seat belt buckle 4, and has a slit at the bottom through which a belt-shaped member 8 can be inserted. The storage section 2d holds the seat belt buckle 4 in the front-rear direction Q and the vehicle width direction P, and functions as a pocket for storing the seat belt buckle 4. The seat back 2b is supported by the seat cushion 2a via a reclining mechanism 2f and is provided rotatably relative to the seat cushion 2a.

The seat belt buckle 4 is provided to lock a tongue plate connected to a shoulder belt (not shown). As shown in Figs. 3 and 4, the seat belt buckle 4 is a resin member with a substantially rectangular cross section, and has a slit 4b on the upper surface 4a into which the tongue plate is inserted. A locking mechanism (not shown) for locking the tongue plate is provided inside the seat belt buckle 4, and locks the tongue plate inserted into the slit 4b. As shown in Fig. 2, the seat belt buckle 4 is arranged so that the upper surface 4a of the seat belt buckle 4 faces the upper surface 2e of the seat cushion 2a so that the user of the vehicle C seated on the seat cushion 2a can easily insert and operate the tongue plate. The seat belt buckle 4 is also arranged so that the longitudinal direction of the rectangular cross section is aligned with the front-rear direction Q. That is, the slit 4b is aligned with the front-rear direction Q (see Fig. 6).

3 and 4, the anchor portion 6 is provided with a through hole 6b for inserting an anchor bolt 6a (see FIG. 2) into an L-shaped plate-like metal member. The anchor portion 6 transmits the load applied to the seat belt buckle 4 to the vehicle C when the vehicle C collides. In this embodiment, the anchor portion 6 is fixed to the seat frame 2c. However, the anchor portion 6 may also be fixed directly to the floor panel 3 of the vehicle C. As shown in FIG. 2, the anchor portion 6 is disposed rearward and below the seat cushion 2a when fixed to the seat frame 2c.

The belt-shaped member 8 extends from the seat belt buckle 4 through the storage section 2d and a slit at the bottom of the storage section 2d below the seat cushion 2a, and is connected to the anchor section 6 fixed to the vehicle body. The belt-shaped member 8 is formed in a belt shape (belt shape) by weaving high-strength fibers such as polyester. In this embodiment, the belt-shaped member 8 is set to a length that extends from the anchor section 6 to the front of the vehicle when the vehicle seat 1 is in the unfolded state and prevents the seat belt buckle 4 from slipping out of the storage section. As shown in Figures 3 and 4, one end 8a of the belt-shaped member 8 is connected to the seat belt buckle 4 by wrapping the belt-shaped member 8 around the buckle-side belt insertion hole 4c provided in the seat belt buckle 4 in an oval shape. The other end 8b of the belt-shaped member 8 is connected to the anchor section 6 by wrapping the belt-shaped member 8 around the anchor-side belt insertion hole 6c provided in the anchor section 6.

When the belt-shaped member 8 is stored in the storage section 2d, the surface of the belt-shaped member 8 at the connection portion with the seat belt buckle 4 faces the vehicle width direction P. The surface of the belt-shaped member 8 at the connection portion with the anchor portion 6 faces the up-down direction G. The belt-shaped member 8 rotates 90 degrees from the connection portion with the anchor portion 6 to the connection portion with the seat belt buckle 4. More specifically, when the belt-shaped member 8 is placed in the vehicle C, it is connected to the seat belt buckle 4 via the connection portion with the belt surface 8c extending in the fore-aft direction Q. Meanwhile, the belt-shaped member 8 is connected to the anchor portion 6 via the connection portion with the belt surface 8c extending in the vehicle width direction P. Therefore, the belt-shaped member 8 is placed rotated 90 degrees.

The regulating member 10 is provided at a predetermined length along the longitudinal direction of the belt-shaped member 8 from the vicinity of the anchor portion 6 of the belt-shaped member 8, and regulates the bending of the belt-shaped member 8. The regulating member 10 is formed of resin in a square tube shape and covers the belt-shaped member 8. The regulating member 10 has a through hole 10b on the upper surface 10a. The regulating member 10 is fixed to the belt-shaped member 8 by passing a thread sewn to the belt-shaped member 8 through the through hole 10b. The belt-shaped member 8 is regulated from bending by inserting it into the inside of the tube of the regulating member 10. In this embodiment, the anchor side end (rear end) 10c of the regulating member 10 is arranged so as to overlap with the anchor portion 6, and the regulating member 10 abuts against the anchor portion 6, thereby regulating the movement of the regulating member 10 in the up-down direction G. This makes it possible to prevent the movement of the belt-shaped member 8 caused by the shifting of the regulating member 10, especially in the stored state of the seat main body 2. In addition, by inserting the belt-shaped member 8 through the restricting member 10, movement of the belt-shaped member 8 in the up-down direction G and the vehicle width direction (left-right direction) P can be further restricted.

The length of the regulating member 10 (the length in the direction along the belt-shaped member 8) is shorter than the length of the belt-shaped member 8. In other words, when the regulating member 10 is disposed in the vehicle C, the buckle-side end 10d of the regulating member 10 is rearward of one end 8a of the belt-shaped member 8. The belt-shaped member 8 extends from the buckle-side end 10d of the regulating member 10, rotating 90 degrees so that the belt surface 8c faces from the vertical direction G toward the vehicle width direction P, and is connected via a connecting portion to the seat belt buckle 4 disposed in the storage section 2d of the seat cushion 2a.

As shown in FIG. 5, in the vehicle seat 1, in conjunction with the operation of folding the seat back 2b of the seat body 2 onto the seat cushion 2a, the seat cushion 2a is moved rearward and downward in the vehicle, and displaced from an unfolded state in which an occupant can sit to a folded and stored stored state. Therefore, in the stored state, the seat body 2 has the seat back 2b reclining toward the seat cushion 2a, so that the back surface 2g of the seat back 2b functions as the floor surface of the luggage compartment.

When the seat body 2 is in the deployed state, the seat belt buckle 4 is disposed in a first position away from the anchor portion 6 toward the front of the vehicle (see FIG. 2). On the other hand, when the seat body 2 is in the stored state, the seat belt buckle 4 is moved back from the first position toward the anchor portion and disposed in a second position rearward of the front end (buckle side end portion 10d) of the restricting member 10.

5, when the seat body 2 is in the stored state, the regulating member 10 is disposed below the seat belt buckle 4. When the seat body 2 is in the stored state, the first portion of the belt-shaped member that is not regulated by the regulating member 10 is folded back backward above the second portion that is regulated by the regulating member 10. More specifically, the belt-shaped member 8 extends from the anchor portion 6 toward the front F, and the first portion at the buckle-side end 10d of the regulating member 10 is folded back toward the upper surface 10a of the regulating member 10. The belt-shaped member 8 rotates 90 degrees upward toward the seat belt buckle 4 and is connected to the seat belt buckle 4. In this way, the belt-shaped member 8 folds back and extends at the buckle-side end 10d of the regulating member 10, so that the excess length of the belt-shaped member 8 can be absorbed when the seat body 2 is in the stored state.

In addition, the seat belt buckle 4 abuts against the restricting member 10 via the first portion. This allows the seat belt buckle 4 to press down on the restricting member 10 from above, so that changes in the orientation of the restricting member 10 in the stored state can be more reliably suppressed.

6, when the storage section 2d is provided on one end side of the seat cushion 2a in the vehicle width direction, the seat belt buckle 4 is offset to the other end side of the regulating member 10 in the vehicle width direction, and when the storage section 2d is provided on the other end side of the seat cushion 2a in the vehicle width direction, the seat belt buckle 4 is offset to the one end side of the regulating member 10 in the vehicle width direction. In this embodiment, the seat belt buckle 4 of the seat body 2 on the right side in the vehicle width direction P is offset to the left side in the vehicle width direction P with respect to the center of the regulating member 10 in the vehicle width direction P in a top view. On the other hand, the seat belt buckle 4 of the seat body 2 on the left side in the vehicle width direction P is offset to the right side in the vehicle width direction P with respect to the center of the regulating member 10 in the vehicle width direction P in a top view. In this way, by offsetting the seat belt buckle 4 to one side in the vehicle width direction P, it is possible to prevent sudden twisting at the rotating portion where the belt-shaped member 8 rotates 90 degrees. As a result, the excess length of the belt-shaped member 8 is easily absorbed between the buckle-side end 10d of the restricting member 10 of the belt-shaped member 8 and the seat belt buckle 4 (the first portion).

The length of the upper surface 10a of the regulating member 10 in the vehicle width direction P is longer than the length of the slit in the storage section 2d in the vehicle width direction P. Furthermore, the length of the upper surface 10a of the regulating member 10 in the front-rear direction Q is longer than the length of the slit in the storage section 2d in the front-rear direction Q. In other words, the area of the upper surface 10a of the regulating member 10 is larger than the cross-sectional area of the slit in the storage section 2d. This causes the regulating member 10 to get caught in the slit in the storage section 2d. As a result, the regulating member 10 does not enter the storage section 2d.

In this way, the excess length of the belt-shaped member 8 is absorbed, thereby preventing the seat belt buckle 4 from jumping out of the storage portion 2d. This prevents the seat belt buckle 4 from moving on the upper surface 2e of the seat cushion 2a. As a result, the seat belt buckle 4 is prevented from being pinched by the seat back 2b when the seat main body 2 is stored. In addition, when the seat main body 2 is returned from the stored state to the deployed state, the seat belt buckle 4 is prevented from moving and getting caught on an obstacle placed on the upper surface 2e of the seat cushion 2a or the seat back 2b.

As described above, the present disclosure provides a vehicle seat 1 that can prevent the seat belt buckle 4 from being able to move over the seat cushion 2a when the seat body 2 is in the stored state.
