Description

The present invention relates to a packaging strip for canned food.

A conventional packaging strip for canned foods is known, for example, from the one described in Patent Document 1. The packaging strip for canned foods described in Patent Document 1 holds the can by inserting each of the four corners of the can into four seaming sections provided on a strip, and engaging a pair of engaging pieces at the bottom of the can.

However, although the above-mentioned packaging strip for cans can hold cans, because the pair of engaging pieces engage with each other at the bottom of the can, there is a problem that when a design is applied to the packaging strip for cans, the appearance is poor.

In view of this, a packaging strip for cans is known that, for the sake of appearance, does not have the two seams located on the bottom side of the can, and instead holds the can in place by gluing the remaining parts. In this case, the two corners on the top side of the can are inserted into the two seams, respectively.

By doing this, there is no need for engaging parts that would allow the engaging pieces to engage with each other, so even if a design is applied to the packaging strip for canned goods, the problem of it looking bad is eliminated.

However, in this case, the two corners of the top of the can are simply inserted into the two seaming sections, so the bottom of the can cannot be held firmly, resulting in the problem that the can becomes wobbly.

In view of the above problems, the present invention aims to provide a packaging strip for canned foods that has a good appearance and can hold canned foods securely.

The above object of the present invention is achieved by the following means. Note that the parentheses indicate reference symbols of the embodiments described below, but the present invention is not limited to these.

According to the invention of claim 2 , in the can packaging strip described in claim 1 , the width (W1) of the insertion piece (3) is formed wider than the width (W2) of the first engagement hole (2b).

Next, the effects of the present invention will be explained using reference symbols in the drawings. Note that the reference symbols in parentheses are those of the embodiments described below, but the present invention is not limited to these.

According to the invention of claim 1, the multiple locking holes (first locking hole 2b, second locking hole 3b, third locking hole 4b, fourth locking hole 5b, fifth locking hole 6b) are capable of locking the corners of the can (C). Among the locking holes capable of locking the corners of the can (C), the locking hole that locks one of the corners of the can is composed of the first locking hole (2b) and the second locking hole (3b). The second locking hole (3b) is provided with an insertion piece (3) whose folding line (10b) is partially connected to the second locking hole (3b). When the insertion piece (3) is folded along the folding line (10b) and inserted into the first locking hole (2b), the insertion piece (3) is concealed inside the can packaging strip (1) without being exposed to the outside. This not only improves the appearance but also holds the can securely.

According to the invention of claim 2 , the width (W1) of the insertion piece (3) is formed wider than the width (W2) of the first engagement hole (2b), so that the insertion piece (3) can be inserted into the first engagement hole (2b) so that it is difficult for the insertion piece (3) to slip out of the first engagement hole (2b).

One embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the drawings. In the following description, when directions such as up, down, left, and right are indicated, they refer to up, down, left, and right when viewed from the front of the illustration.

<Explanation of packaging strip for canned foods>
As shown in Fig. 1, the can packaging strip 1 according to this embodiment is formed in a cylindrical rectangular shape, and has a cavity K penetrating therethrough in the front-rear direction. A horizontally elongated cylindrical can C is inserted into the cavity K, as shown in Fig. 1(a). In this way, the can C is held by the can packaging strip 1.

To explain this canned food packaging strip 1 in more detail, as shown in Figure 2, this canned food packaging strip 1 is made of a single sheet S made of cardboard or the like. As shown in Figure 2, this single sheet S is formed in a vertically elongated, approximately rectangular shape, with a trapezoidal fold piece 2 formed at the bottom. As shown in Figure 2, a fold line 10a is formed on the top surface 2a of this fold piece 2, and further, a first locking hole 2b, which is an approximately rectangular through hole, is formed in the center of the top surface 2a.

On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 2, a generally rectangular insertion piece 3 is formed on the upper part of the sheet S. As shown in FIG. 2, a fold line 10b is formed on the lower surface 3a of this insertion piece 3, and further, a second locking hole 3b, which is a generally rectangular through hole, is formed in the center of the lower surface 3a.

The above-mentioned insertion piece 3 is inserted into the first locking hole 2b, and as shown in FIG. 2, the width W1 of the insertion piece 3 is formed wider than the width W2 of the first locking hole 2b. Specifically, the width W1 of the insertion piece 3 is formed wider than the width W2 of the first locking hole 2b by about 1.0 mm to 1.2 mm. Thus, by forming the width W1 of the insertion piece 3 wider than the width W2 of the first locking hole 2b in this way, the insertion piece 3 can be inserted into the first locking hole 2b so that it is difficult for it to slip out of the first locking hole 2b. In other words, when inserting the insertion piece 3 into the first locking hole 2b, since the width W1 of the insertion piece 3 is wider than the width W2 of the first locking hole 2b, it is necessary to insert the insertion piece 3 by pushing it into the first locking hole 2b. This allows the insertion piece 3 to be securely inserted into the first locking hole 2b, making it difficult for the insertion piece 3 to slip out of the first locking hole 2b. Therefore, if the width W1 of the insertion piece 3 is made wider than the width W2 of the first locking hole 2b, the insertion piece 3 can be inserted into the first locking hole 2b so that it is difficult for it to slip out of the first locking hole 2b.

On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 2, a rectangular lower wall surface 4 having a width similar to that of the folding piece 2 is provided on the upper surface 2a of the folding piece 2, and is connected to the folding piece 2. As shown in FIG. 1, this lower wall surface 4 forms the lower surface of the can packaging strip 1. A folding line 10c is formed on the upper surface 4a of this lower wall surface 4, and further, a third engagement hole 4b, which is a substantially rectangular through hole, is formed in the center of the upper surface 4a.

On the other hand, as shown in Figure 2, a rectangular right wall 5 having a width similar to that of the bottom wall 4 is provided on the upper surface 4a of the bottom wall 4 and is connected to the bottom wall 4. As shown in Figure 1, this right wall 5 forms the right side of the can packaging strip 1. A fold line 10d is formed on the upper surface 5a of the right wall 5, and a fourth locking hole 5b, which is a substantially rectangular through hole, is formed in the center of the upper surface 5a.

On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 2, a rectangular upper wall 6 having a width similar to that of the right wall 5 is provided on the upper surface 5a of the right wall 5 and is continuous with the right wall 5. As shown in FIG. 1, this upper wall 6 forms the upper surface of the can packaging strip 1. A fold line 10e is formed on the upper surface 6a of the upper wall 6, and a fifth locking hole 6b, which is a substantially rectangular through hole, is formed in the center of the upper surface 6a.

On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 2, a rectangular left wall 7 having a width similar to that of the top wall 6 is provided on the upper surface 6a of the top wall 6 and is continuous with the top wall 6. As shown in FIG. 1, this left wall 7 forms the left side of the can packaging strip 1. An insert piece 3 having a width narrower than the width of the top wall 6 is provided in the approximate center of the upper surface 7a of the left wall 7 and is continuous with the left wall 7.

Thus, using the sheet S constructed as described above, the can packaging band 1 is assembled as follows.

First, as shown in FIG. 3, the bottom wall 4 is bent inward at the bend line 10c, and the bend piece 2 is bent inward at the bend line 10a. Then, the left wall 7 is bent inward at the bend line 10e, and the insertion piece 3 is bent inward at the bend line 10b.

Next, as shown in FIG. 4, the upper wall surface 6 is folded inward with the folding line 10d as the base point. Then, the insert piece 3 is inserted into the first locking hole 2b, resulting in the state shown in FIG. 5. This results in the can packaging strip 1 being assembled. However, if the lower wall surface 4 is moved to the lower side, the right wall surface 5 to the right side, the upper wall surface 6 to the upper side, and the left wall surface 7 to the left side, then the state shown in FIG. 1(b) is obtained. Thus, by inserting the insert piece 3 into the first locking hole 2b as shown in FIG. 1(b), the first locking hole 2b and the second locking hole 3b are connected to each other. As a result, as shown in FIG. 1(a), the corners of the upper part Ca of the can C inserted into the cavity K of the can packaging strip 1 are locked into the fourth locking hole 5b and the fifth locking hole 6b. The corners of the lower part Cb of the can C inserted into the cavity K of the can packaging strip 1 are locked into the first locking hole 2b, the second locking hole 3b, and the third locking hole 4b. This allows the four corners of the can C to be locked into the can packaging strip 1, so the can C can be securely held by the can packaging strip 1.

According to the present embodiment described above, the first locking hole 2b has a function that allows the insertion piece 3 to be inserted into the first locking hole 2b, so the engagement between the engagement pieces is not exposed to the outside as in the past. Therefore, even if a design is applied to the can packaging strip 1, there is no problem of it looking bad.

Furthermore, the first locking hole 2b has the function of being able to lock the corners of the can C, so unlike the conventional method where only two corners of the top Ca of the can C could be locked, the four corners of the can C can be locked. This allows the can to be held securely.

According to this embodiment, the first locking hole 2b is capable of locking the corner of the can C and also has the function of allowing the insertion piece 3 to be inserted, which improves the appearance and allows the can to be held securely.

The shapes and other features shown in this embodiment are merely examples, and various modifications and changes are possible within the scope of the gist of the present invention described in the claims. For example, a rectangular shape has been described as an example of the shape of the can packaging strip 1, but the shape is not limited to this and can be applied to any shape.

In addition, according to this embodiment, the corners of the lower part Cb of the can C are locked by the first locking hole 2b and the second locking hole 3b, but the corners of the lower part Cb of the can C may be locked by only the first locking hole 2b. However, it is preferable to lock the corners of the lower part Cb of the can C by the first locking hole 2b and the second locking hole 3b. This is because, even if the first locking hole 2b has a function of inserting the insertion piece 3 into the first locking hole 2b, the corners of the lower part Cb of the can C can be firmly locked. Thus, this makes it possible to hold the can C more firmly.

However, the assembly method illustrated in this embodiment is merely an example, and assembly may be performed in any order.
