前記ミズアブ幼虫の腸内細菌叢の処理物には、ミズアブ幼虫由来の抗菌タンパク質や分解酵素を含んでいてもよい。ミズアブ幼虫由来の抗菌タンパク質や分解酵素を含むことにより、本発明の前処理効果を向上させることができる。例えば、ミズアブ幼虫の腸内細菌叢の処理物が、前記抗菌タンパク質や分解酵素を含むことにより、有機廃棄物から生じる臭気の発生の抑制効果を向上させることができる。前記分解酵素及び前記抗菌タンパク質としては、前記したものが挙げられる。

[実施例1]
有機廃棄物10mLを入れたガラス管に、有機廃棄物としておからを3g入れ、そこへ既にミズアブ幼虫が分解した、ミズアブ幼虫の糞を含む有機廃棄物の残渣(残渣1~4)を0.3g(10質量%)加えたものを処理区とし、前記残渣を添加しない、おからのみの区を対照区とした。それぞれ25℃で7日間インキュベートした後、ガラス管の気相部分をオートサンプラー(MPS,GERSTEL社製)で採取し、熱脱着装置(TDU-2,CIS 4 Cooled Injection System,GERSTEL社製)で4回濃縮した後に、ガスクロマトグラフィー質量分析器(GC-MS,GC 7890A/MS 5977B MSD,Agilent technologies社製)へ導入した。気相中の臭気成分を濃縮したライナーは12℃/secの昇温条件で250℃まで加熱し、10分間温度を保持することで、GC-MSへ導入した。GC-MSにはDB-5MS UI(長さ30m×直径0.25mm×膜厚0.25μm,Agilent technologies社製)を装着し、初期温度40℃を3分間保持し、150℃まで10℃/minの条件で加熱し、150℃から280℃まで20℃/minの条件で加熱し、5分間保持した。
マススペクトルはEI法により、70eVでイオン化し、m/z 29からm/z 400までのフラグメントイオンを取得した。得られたフラグメントイオンをライブラリー(NIST17)と照合し、臭気成分を同定した。臭気成分のうち、悪臭防止法で特定悪臭物質に指定されている二硫化メチルについて、GC/MSピーク面積に基づいて処理区と対照区の発生量を比較した。その結果を図2に示す。
図2に示したように、対照区と比較して、残渣1~4を添加した処理区では、二硫化メチルの発生が抑制された。特に、残渣2及び残渣4において抑制効果が顕著であった。
この結果により、有機廃棄物をミズアブ幼虫の細菌叢またはその処理物で前処理することにより、有機廃棄物から発生する臭気が抑制されることが確認された。
[Example 1]
In a glass tube containing 10 mL of organic waste, 3 g of soybean pulp was placed as organic waste, and 0.3 g (10% by mass) of the residue of organic waste (residues 1 to 4) containing the feces of black soldier fly larvae that had already been decomposed by black soldier fly larvae was added to the tube. This was used as a treatment group, and a control group was used without the residue and only soybean pulp. After incubation at 25°C for 7 days, the gas phase of the glass tube was collected with an autosampler (MPS, GERSTEL), concentrated four times with a thermal desorption device (TDU-2, CIS 4 Cooled Injection System, GERSTEL), and then introduced into a gas chromatography mass spectrometer (GC-MS, GC 7890A/MS 5977B MSD, Agilent technologies). The liner with concentrated odorous components in the gas phase was heated to 250°C at a temperature increase rate of 12°C/sec, and the temperature was maintained for 10 minutes before being introduced into the GC-MS. The GC-MS was equipped with a DB-5MS UI (length 30 m x diameter 0.25 mm x film thickness 0.25 μm, manufactured by Agilent Technologies), and the initial temperature was maintained at 40°C for 3 minutes, heated to 150°C at 10°C/min, and heated from 150°C to 280°C at 20°C/min, and maintained for 5 minutes.
Mass spectrum was obtained by ionization at 70 eV using EI method, and fragment ions from m/z 29 to m/z 400 were obtained. The obtained fragment ions were compared with a library (NIST17) to identify odorous components. Among odorous components, the amount of methyl disulfide, designated as a specific odorous substance by the Offensive Odor Prevention Law, was compared between the treated and control areas based on the GC/MS peak area. The results are shown in Figure 2.
As shown in Figure 2, compared to the control area, the generation of methyl disulfide was suppressed in the treatment areas to which Residues 1 to 4 were added. In particular, the suppression effect was remarkable in Residues 2 and 4.
These results confirmed that the odor generated from organic waste can be suppressed by pretreating the organic waste with the bacterial flora of black soldier fly larvae or a processed product thereof.
