Description

The present invention relates to a gutter support structure and its construction method that allows air to be easily taken in to the inside of the room and exhausted to the outside by providing ventilation openings in the gutter support material that supports the eaves gutter.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, as roof gutters, eaves gutters that are installed at the eaves of a roof are generally and widely known.
As a structure (mechanism) for fixing this eaves gutter, for example, those shown in Patent Documents 1 and 2 are widely known.
Patent document 1 describes a structure in which a cover material 3 is attached to close the gap between the eaves gutter and the front of the eaves edge below, and the upper end (ear portion) of one side of the eaves gutter is engaged with a support piece (engagement portion) provided on the cover material 3.
Patent document 2 describes a structure in which an upper member 3 including a porous body 5 is attached to the upper surface of an eaves gutter support device 6 fixed to the exterior wall of a building, and a lower member 4, which is the eaves body main body 1, is suspended and supported by the upper member 3.

実開平5-38153号公報Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 5-38153 特開2000-291213号公報JP 2000-291213 A

However, both the cover material 3 in Patent Document 1 and the eaves gutter support device 6 in Patent Document 2 are fixed in a cantilevered manner to the exterior wall of a building, and these components do not have a structure for ventilating the interior side. Therefore, if the purpose is to ventilate the building, it is necessary to install a separate ventilation device or ventilation structure.

The present invention aims to propose a gutter support structure and construction method that can easily take in air inside the room and exhaust it outside by providing ventilation openings in the gutter support material that supports the eaves gutter.

The present invention has been proposed in view of the above, and proposes a gutter support structure that supports eaves gutters with gutter support material fixed along the eaves of a building, the gutter support material having a fixed part fixed to the mounting surface, a support horizontal surface part extending away from the fixed part, and a support vertical surface part extending in the height direction from the support horizontal surface part and supporting the side of the eaves gutter facing the building, the support horizontal surface part supporting the side of the eaves gutter facing the building and having a ventilation opening part that communicates in the vertical direction, the wind blown in through the ventilation opening part is introduced into the ventilation flow path on the back side of the roof surface.

The present invention also proposes a gutter support structure in which the gutter support material has an upward extension above the fixed part in a direction away from the fixed part, and the upward extension has a ventilation opening that communicates in the vertical direction (note that in the following explanation, the ventilation opening in the upward extension will be referred to as a "through hole" to distinguish it from the ventilation opening in the support side surface part).

The present invention also proposes a method for constructing the gutter support structure, which comprises a first step of fixing a gutter support material to the mounting surface of a building, a second step of attaching the side of the eaves gutter facing the building to the gutter support material, and a third step of placing a cover material over the open top surface of the eaves gutter, fixing the upper end of the cover material to the exterior base of the building, and engaging the engagement portion at the lower end of the cover material with the engagement receiving portion at the eaves tip of the eaves gutter.

The gutter support structure of the present invention is a structure in which the side of the eaves gutter facing the building is supported by a gutter support material fixed to the mounting surface of the building, and ventilation is performed through a ventilation opening provided on the support side of the gutter support material, making it easy to take in air (blown in air) to the inside of the room (the ventilation flow path on the back side of the roof surface) and exhaust it to the outside.
Furthermore, the gutter receiving material has a supporting vertical surface portion that supports the side of the eaves gutter facing the building, so that the eaves gutter can be held stably.

The gutter support material also has an upward extension above the fixed part in a direction away from the fixed part, and if the upward extension is formed with a through hole that communicates in the vertical direction, the horizontal surface portion is formed with two layers, one above the other, and ventilation can also take place through the ventilation opening from the through hole, providing more stable support for the eaves gutter.

Furthermore, the construction method for the gutter support structure can be easily performed without using any special jigs or devices, and a useful gutter support structure can be constructed as described above.

FIG. 2A is a side view showing the gutter support structure of the first embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 2B is a side view showing the gutter support material used therein. FIG. 1A is a side view showing a gutter support structure according to a second embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 1B is a side view showing a gutter support material used therein. 3A is a side view showing a gutter support structure according to a third embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 3B is a side view showing the gutter support material used therein. This is a bottom surface showing variations in the supporting side surface (ventilation opening) of the gutter support material.

The gutter support structure of the present invention supports an eaves gutter with a gutter support material fixed along the eaves edge of a building, and the gutter support material has a fixed part fixed to the mounting surface, a support horizontal surface part extending away from the fixed part, and a support vertical surface part extending in the height direction from the support horizontal surface part to support the side of the eaves gutter facing the building, and the support horizontal surface part supports the side of the eaves gutter facing the building and has a ventilation opening formed therein that communicates in the vertical direction, and the wind blown in through the ventilation opening part is introduced into the ventilation flow path on the back side of the roof surface.

The eaves gutter has an internal space (drainage section) that drains rainwater and the like in the lengthwise direction, and although a through material is often used, a combination of multiple materials is also acceptable. This eaves gutter is formed in a roughly U-shaped cross section consisting of a bottom surface and two side surfaces, and a cover material is arranged to cover its open upper surface. The side of this eaves gutter facing the building is attached to the gutter receiving material fixed to the mounting surface, and the side facing the eaves is provided with an engagement receiver whose upper end is connected to an engagement part of the cover material fixed to the exterior base or the gutter receiving material.

In the illustrated embodiment described below, the engagement receiving portion of the eaves gutter is an L-shaped portion formed by an inclined surface located at the top and a horizontal surface, but there are no limitations on its specific shape as long as it is connected to an engagement portion provided at the bottom end of the cover material. Since this engagement receiving portion is connected to an engagement portion of the cover material, the eaves tip of the eaves gutter can be held in place by pulling it with the cover material.

The cover material covering the open top surface of the eaves gutter is a member that prevents snow from accumulating inside the eaves gutter and fallen leaves from entering and accumulating, and is not particularly limited in its material (material), and may be a through material like the eaves gutter, or a combination of multiple materials. The upper end of this cover material is fixed to the exterior base or gutter receiving material, and it may cover the entire open top surface of the eaves gutter or only a part of it.
The surface of this cover material is formed with a large number of water guide openings, for example small slit holes, that guide rainwater into the interior, and the presence of these water guide openings also serves to prevent the accumulation of snow and fallen leaves, etc. from entering the material.
The cover material may be a metal mesh material (wire net-like material) as long as it does not fall off or scatter over time. As for the opening size of the metal mesh material, as with the water guide port, if it is too wide, fallen leaves and the like will get in, so it is sufficient if it can guide rainwater while preventing the intrusion of such things.

The engaging portion provided on this cover material engages with the eaves tip (engagement receiving portion) of the eaves gutter, and in the illustrated embodiment described below, is an L-shaped portion formed by an inclined surface and a horizontal surface, but the specific shape is not limited as long as it engages with the engagement receiving portion provided on the eaves gutter. Since this engaging portion engages with the engagement receiving portion of the eaves gutter, the eaves tip of the eaves gutter can be held by pulling it with this cover material.

The gutter support material is a member that supports the eaves gutter and includes a fixed portion that is fixed to the mounting surface, a support horizontal surface that extends away from the fixed portion, and a support vertical surface that extends in the height direction from the support horizontal surface to support the side of the eaves gutter facing the building. This gutter support material is often made of a through material, just like the eaves gutter, but a combination of multiple materials is also acceptable.

The mounting surface is not particularly limited as long as it is formed on a building and a fastener or other fixing device can be driven into it, and may be, for example, a vertical surface such as an exterior wall surface, and the fixing portion refers to the vertical surface portion that is aligned with the mounting surface.

The support lateral surface is formed with ventilation openings that communicate in the vertical direction, but the shape, etc., of the openings is not limited, and a large number of small holes may be provided in the longitudinal direction as shown in the illustrated embodiment described later. The ventilation openings are through holes that guide the wind blown in from below into the building, and as with the water guide openings in the cover material, if the openings are too wide, fallen leaves and the like may enter, and in recent years there has been a risk of various insects and wild animals getting into the attic, etc. Therefore, it is sufficient that the openings are large enough to prevent this and to introduce the wind.
In addition, this support lateral surface portion serves the role of supporting the side of the eaves gutter facing the building, and specifically, is provided with an L-shaped portion (lower holding portion) that receives the lower end of the side of the eaves gutter facing the building in a resting position.
In other words, this support horizontal surface portion has a horizontal surface portion extending at least in a direction away from the fixed portion, and a ventilation opening that communicates in the vertical direction is formed in the horizontal surface portion, and a lower retaining portion which is an L-shaped portion is formed at the tip of the horizontal surface portion.

The ventilation opening is a through hole that guides wind blowing in from below into the building as described above, and since it is desirable for it to be able to prevent the intrusion of various insects, it may be formed from multiple components. That is, when forming a ventilation opening from a single component, multiple holes are formed in the support side surface, and when forming a ventilation opening from multiple components, a relatively large hole is formed in the support side surface, and a relatively small hole is formed in a separate component, such as a net-like material made of a breathable material, and then attached.

In addition to the fixed portion and the support side surface, the gutter support member may have an upward extension above the fixed portion in a direction away from the fixed portion, and the upward extension may have a through hole formed therein that communicates in the vertical direction. The through hole may be formed in the same manner as the ventilation opening in the support side surface, or may be formed differently.
This upward extension portion is formed above the support horizontal surface portion (the horizontal surface portion) and may be formed parallel to the support horizontal surface portion as in the illustrated embodiment described below, but is not limited to being parallel.

In addition, the gutter receiving material may be provided with a fixed portion to which the upper end (fixed portion) of the cover material is fixed.
As mentioned above, the cover material is fixed to the exterior base or to this gutter receiving material; in other words, the fixed portion for fixing the fixing portion provided at the upper end of the cover material may be provided on an exterior base, such as an eaves arabesque, or on this gutter receiving material.

Furthermore, a support vertical surface portion is formed on this gutter receiving member so as to face the fixed portion, and an upper end of the support vertical surface portion is folded back outward to form a V-shaped portion (upper holding portion).
The upper holding portion provided on this vertical support surface portion holds the upper end of the eaves gutter's side facing the building, and together with the lower holding portion provided at the tip of the horizontal support surface portion, can stably hold the eaves gutter's side facing the building.

The gutter support structure of the present invention uses a gutter support material with a ventilation opening on the back side of the eaves gutter or cover material that forms the front and back decorative surfaces of the structure, and although through materials are used exclusively as the eaves gutter and cover material, a combination of multiple materials is also acceptable, and any material that does not deform over time can be used, such as various metal plate materials or hard resin molded plates . On the other hand, the gutter support material is required to have the strength to support the eaves gutter, so metal fittings or thick resin molded products that have the required durability are used.

The method for constructing a gutter support structure made up of these components is as follows.
First, in the first step, the gutter receiving material is fixed to the mounting surface.
Next, in the second step, the side of the eaves gutter facing the building is attached to the support lateral surface portion (lower holding portion) of the gutter receiving material.
Then, in the third step, a covering material is placed over the open upper surface of the eaves gutter, and its upper end is fixed to the exterior base of the building (eaves arabesque) or the gutter receiving material, while the engaging portion at its lower end is engaged with the engaging receiving portion at the eaves tip of the eaves gutter.

The gutter support structure of the present invention described above is designed so that the side of the eaves gutter facing the building is attached to a gutter support material fixed to the mounting surface, and ventilation is achieved through ventilation openings provided on the support side of the gutter support material, making it easy to take in air inside the room and exhaust it to the outside.

In addition, if the gutter support material is provided with the above-mentioned upward extension above the fixed part, the horizontal surface portion will be formed with two layers, one above the other, and ventilation can also take place through the ventilation opening from the through hole, providing more stable support for the eaves gutter.

The gutter support structure of the first embodiment of the present invention shown in Figure 1 (a) supports the eaves gutter 1 with a gutter support material 4 fixed along the eaves edge of a building. The gutter support material 4 has a fixed part 41 fixed to the mounting surface and a support side surface part 42 extending in a direction away from the fixed part 41. The support side surface part 42 supports the side surface 13 of the eaves gutter 1 facing the building, and has a ventilation opening 421 that communicates in the vertical direction.

The eaves gutter 1 is a through-piece material having an internal space (drainage section) for draining rainwater, etc., and is formed in an approximately U-shaped cross section consisting of a bottom surface 11 and two side surfaces 12, 13, with the side surface 13 facing the building being attached to a gutter receiving material 4 (lower retaining portion 422) fixed to a mounting surface (the outer wall surface 5A of the building), and the upper end of the vertical gutter 2 extending downward is connected to the bottom surface 11.
In the drainage section (internal space) of the eaves gutter 1 in this first embodiment, a stepped side 12 consisting of three inclined surfaces and two horizontal surfaces is formed on the eaves side (left side in the drawing) of a substantially horizontal bottom surface 11, and a substantially vertical side 13 is formed on the building side of the bottom surface 11 (right side in the drawing), and these bottom surface 11 and side surfaces 12, 13 form a drainage channel for rainwater etc. with a substantially U-shaped cross section, so that rainwater can be quickly drained into the downpipe 2 whose upper end is connected to the bottom surface 11. A cap-shaped drain outlet 2B with multiple water guide holes 21 is attached to the upper end of the downpipe 2.
In addition, at the upper end of the side 12 on the eaves side, an engagement receiving portion 121 with which the engagement portion 32 of the cover material 3 engages in a holding manner is formed by the uppermost inclined surface and a horizontal surface, and at the lower end of the side 13 on the building side, an approximately L-shaped support receiving portion 131 is formed which is supported by the lower retaining portion 422 of the gutter receiving material 4.

The covering material 3 is a member that covers the open upper surface of the eaves gutter 1 and prevents snow from accumulating inside the eaves gutter 1, fallen leaves from entering and accumulating, and birds from building nests, and may be a through material or a combination of multiple materials.
In the first embodiment, the cover material 3 has a surface (decorative surface 31) formed with a number of small slit holes that serve as water guide ports 311 for guiding rainwater to the inside, and a return surface 313 that slopes upward in the opposite direction to the flow slope is formed near the eaves, and a drainage ditch 312 is formed at the boundary between the two.
At the eaves tip of the decorative surface 31, an L-shaped engaging portion 32 is formed by bending the lower end of the decorative surface 31 downward and further extending to the back surface side.
Furthermore, near the upper end of the decorative surface 31, a fixing portion 33 is formed which is supported by a fixing portion 66 formed on the eaves arabesque 6D which is integrally fixed to the exterior base 6F, and which is fixed with a screw (fixing device) 6b.

The gutter support material 4 supporting the eaves gutter 1 has a fixing portion 41 and a supporting horizontal surface portion 42 as described above, but the mounting surface to which the fixing portion 41 is fixed is the exterior wall surface 5A having an air permeable layer 50 on the inside, and the fixing portion 41 refers to a vertical surface portion that fits along it, and is fixed to the exterior wall surface 5A with a long screw-shaped fastener 4b.
The support horizontal surface portion 42 has a horizontal surface portion extending at least in a direction away from the fixed portion 41 (to the left in the figure), and a ventilation opening 421 that communicates in the vertical direction is formed in the horizontal surface portion, and at its tip is formed a lower retaining portion 422 that supports the approximately L-shaped support receiving portion 131 of the eaves gutter 1 from below.
The ventilation opening 421 is appropriately selected from the variations shown in Fig. 4 so that fallen leaves and the like do not enter with the blowing wind, and various insects and wild animals cannot get into the ceiling space, etc. Note that since the ventilation opening 421 in this first embodiment is formed from a single member, it is preferable that finer holes are formed.

As shown in FIG. 1(b), the gutter receiving material 4 in this first embodiment is a substantially U-shaped molded body having the fixing portion 41 formed on a vertical surface and the supporting horizontal surface portion 42 formed on a horizontal surface, and having a supporting vertical surface portion 43 opposite the fixing portion 41, and an L-shaped upper retaining portion 431 is formed by folding the upper end of the supporting vertical surface portion 43 outward.
The upper holding portion 431 provided on this vertical support surface portion 43 holds the upper end of the side 13 of the eaves gutter 1 facing the building, and together with the lower holding portion 422 provided at the tip of the horizontal support surface portion 42, can stably hold the side 13 of the eaves gutter 1 facing the building.

The configuration other than the above-mentioned eaves gutter 1, gutter receiving material 4, and cover material 3 will be briefly described below.
In the figure, 5A is an exterior wall surface with an internal ventilation layer 50, 7A is a structural body laid in the eaves-ridge direction which forms a flow path 70 for the taken-in ventilation, 7B is the constructed structure, 6A is a vertical roofing exterior material, 6b is a retaining clip which holds it (6A), 6c is its fixing device, 6D is an eaves arabesque with a fixed portion 66, 6e is its fixing device, and 6F is an undercoat material (exterior undercoat) arranged on the back side of the vertical roofing exterior material 6A.
The eaves arabesque 6D is attached in a fitting manner to the eaves portion of the exterior base 6F and comprises an engaged portion 65 that extends toward the eaves side and engages the eaves tip of the vertical roofing exterior material 6A, and a fixed portion 66 that protrudes further toward the eaves side from the engaged portion 65 and fixes the cover material 3.

A method for constructing a gutter support structure made up of these components will now be briefly explained.
First, in the first step, the fixing portion 41 of the gutter receiving material 4 was fixed to the mounting surface 5A with a long screw (fixing tool) 4b.
Next, in the second step, the side surface 13 (support receiving portion 131) of the eaves gutter 1 facing the building was mounted on the horizontal support surface portion 42 (lower holding portion 422) of the gutter receiving material 4. In this first embodiment, the upper end of the side surface 13 facing the building of the eaves gutter 1 was inserted from below into the upper holding portion 431 of the gutter receiving material 4 and held there. Then, the side surface 13 was fixed to the vertical support surface portion 43 by driving in the screw 1b.
Then, in the third step, the cover material 3 is placed over the open upper surface of the eaves gutter 1, and its upper end (fixing portion 33) is fixed to the exterior base of the building (fixed portion 66 provided on the eaves arabesque 6D) with a screw (fixing device) 3b, while the engagement portion 32 provided on its lower end is engaged with the engagement receiving portion 121 provided on the eaves tip of the eaves gutter 1.

The gutter support structure of the present invention constructed in this manner has the support receiving portion 131 on the building side side 13 of the eaves gutter 1 attached to the lower holding portion 422 of the gutter support material 4 fixed to the mounting surface 5A, and ventilation in the vertical direction is performed through the ventilation opening 421 provided in the support side portion 42 of the gutter support material 4, making it easy to take in air into the inside of the room and exhaust it to the outside.
In addition, the dotted white arrow in the figure indicates the intake of air into the room, and shows the state in which the blown-in air is taken in through the ventilation opening 421 and introduced into the ventilation flow path 70.

In addition, in this first embodiment, the side 13 of the eaves gutter 1 facing the building is fixed to a gutter receiving material 4 fixed to the mounting surface, and the engagement receiving portion 121 provided on the side 12 on the eaves end side of the eaves gutter 1 is held in a pulled manner by a cover material 3 fixed to the eaves end arabesque 6D, so that the left and right ends of the eaves gutter 1 can be stably held.

In addition, in this first embodiment, the cover material 3 of the above-mentioned configuration is used, so fallen leaves and the like do not enter along with the rainwater and snow, and the rainwater, snow, and the like can be guided and drained. For example, even in the event of heavy rain, the rainwater, etc. can be temporarily stored on the return surface 313 and drained in the flow direction through the drainage groove 312.

The gutter support structure of the second embodiment of the present invention shown in Figure 2(a) uses a gutter support material 4' that is different from the gutter support material 4 in the first embodiment. The rest of the structure, such as the eaves gutter 1 and the cover material 3, are completely similar, so the same reference numerals are used in the drawing and the description is omitted.

The gutter receiving material 4' in this second embodiment has a fixed portion 41' and a supporting horizontal surface portion 42' as shown in Figure 2 (b), and is similar to the first embodiment in that the fixed portion 41' is formed on a vertical surface and the supporting horizontal surface portion 42' is formed on a horizontal surface. However, the gutter receiving material 4' in this second embodiment has a short fixed portion 41' and fewer fasteners 4b to be driven in, but has an upward extension portion 44 extending from its upper end in a direction away from the fixed portion 41' (to the left in the figure).
In addition, a support vertical surface portion 43' is formed extending upward from the end of the upward extension portion 44. Whereas the support vertical surface portion 43 in the first embodiment rises vertically from the support horizontal surface portion 42, this support vertical surface portion 43' rises from the end of the upward extension portion 44, which is different. However, they are similar in that the upper end is folded back outward to form an L-shaped upper retaining portion 431'.
Incidentally, on the outer side of the upper holding portion 431', there is a substantially Z-shaped portion indicated by reference numeral (45), but this will not be described in this embodiment.

The upper extension 44 is a horizontal surface formed parallel to the support surface 42' and has through holes 441 communicating in the up-down direction. Similar to the ventilation opening 421 in the first embodiment, the through holes 441 are appropriately selected so as to prevent fallen leaves and the like from entering with the blowing wind as shown in Fig. 4 and to prevent various insects and wild animals from entering the ceiling space.
The upward extension 44 is a horizontal surface formed parallel to the support 42' and has through holes 441 communicating in the up-down direction. Similar to the ventilation opening 421 in the first embodiment, the through holes 441 are appropriately selected so as to prevent fallen leaves and the like from entering with the blowing wind as shown in Fig. 4 and to prevent various insects and wild animals from entering the ceiling space.

On the other hand, the ventilation opening 421' in the support side surface 42' in this second embodiment is formed by attaching the edge of the mesh plate 4C to a pair of horizontal grooves 423 provided on the left and right as shown by the outline arrows. Therefore, various configurations can be appropriately selected as shown below. The mesh plate 4C may be in the form of a net or made of a breathable material.
For example, a plurality of through holes are formed in the support lateral surface portion 42' as the ventilation openings 421', and the mesh plate 4C is attached to the lateral groove 423 so as to cover the plurality of through holes, which makes it easy to prevent the intrusion of particularly small insects and the like. Specifically, the plurality of through holes formed in the support lateral surface portion 42' may be holes on the order of several centimeters, and fine holes on the order of several millimeters or tenths of a millimeter or less may be formed in the mesh plate 4C.

The gutter receiving structure of this second embodiment can be constructed in exactly the same manner as the first embodiment.
First, in the first step, the fixing portion 41' of the gutter receiving member 4' was fixed to the mounting surface 5A with a long screw (fixing tool) 4b.
Next, in the second step, the support receiving portion 131 of the side surface 13 of the eaves gutter 1 facing the building was mounted on the lower holding portion 422' of the horizontal support surface portion 42' of the gutter receiving material 4'. At that time, the upper end of the side surface 13 of the eaves gutter 1 facing the building was inserted from below into the upper holding portion 431' of the gutter receiving material 4' and held. After that, the side surface 13 was fixed to the vertical support surface portion 43' by driving in the screw 1b.

The gutter support structure of the second embodiment has a similar ventilation effect. That is, the support support portion 131 of the side surface 13 of the eaves gutter 1 facing the building is attached to the lower holding portion 422' of the gutter support material 4' fixed to the mounting surface 5A, and ventilation is performed in the vertical direction through the ventilation openings 421' (and the mesh material 4C) provided in the support horizontal surface portion 42' of the gutter support material 4' and the through holes 441, so that air can be easily taken in to the inside of the room and exhausted to the outside of the room.
In addition, the dotted white arrow in the figure indicates the intake of air into the indoor side, and shows the state in which the blown in air is taken in through the ventilation opening 421' and introduced into the ventilation flow path 70 through the through hole 441.

The gutter support structure of the third embodiment of the present invention shown in Figure 3 (a) is identical to the gutter support material 4'' used in the second embodiment, but the angle of the cover material 3 and the eaves arabesque 6D'' are different.Other than that, the eaves gutter 1 etc. are exactly the same, so the same symbols are used in the drawing and their explanations are omitted.
The eaves arabesque 6D" is attached to the eaves portion of the exterior base 6F in a fitting manner, and is similar to the eaves arabesque 6D in that it has an engaged portion 65 that extends toward the eaves side and engages the eaves tip of the vertical roofing exterior material 6A; however, no fixed portion is provided and a water return portion 67 is formed.

As shown in Figure 3(b) , in this third embodiment, the gutter receiving material 4" has an approximately Z-shaped fixed portion, indicated by the reference symbol 45, on the outside of the upper holding portion 431', and no fixed portion is formed on the eaves arabesque 6D".
In this third embodiment, the angle of installation of the cover material 3 is gentler (an inclination angle approximating horizontal) compared to the first and second embodiments, and the fixing portion 33 formed at the upper end is fixed to a fixed portion 45 formed on the gutter receiving material 4" by a screw (fixing device) 3b.

The method of constructing the gutter receiving structure of the third embodiment is also similar to that of the second embodiment, except that the cover material 3 is fixed to the gutter receiving material 4''.
First, in the first step, the fixing portion 41 of the gutter receiving member 4'' was fixed to the mounting surface 5A with a long screw (fixing tool) 4b.
Next, in the second step, the support receiving portion 131 of the side surface 13 of the eaves gutter 1 facing the building was mounted on the lower holding portion 422' of the support horizontal surface portion 42' of the gutter receiving material 4". At this time, the upper end of the side surface 13 of the eaves gutter 1 facing the building was inserted and held from below into the upper holding portion 431' of the gutter receiving material 4". After that, the screw 1b was driven in to fix the side surface 13 to the support vertical surface portion 43.
Then, in the third step, the cover material 3 is placed so as to cover the open upper surface of the eaves gutter 1, and its upper end (fixing portion 33) is fixed to the fixed portion 45 provided on the gutter receiving material 4" with a screw (fixing device) 3b, and the engagement portion 32 provided on its lower end is engaged with the engagement receiving portion 121 provided at the eaves tip of the eaves gutter 1.
