Description

This disclosure relates to an inner window. More specifically, it relates to an inner window that is placed on the indoor side of an outer window in a double-glazed window.

Double-glazed windows, which are constructed by installing an inner window and an outer window in an opening of a building, have been known in the past (see, for example, Patent Document 1). By doubling the window, double-glazed windows can improve heat insulation performance and soundproofing. Double-glazed windows can be installed by simultaneously installing an outer window and an inner window when building a new building, or by adding an inner window to the interior side of an existing window through renovation.

The inner window, which is placed on the indoor side, has a frame body with an upper frame, and a shoji screen placed within the frame body. A downward-protruding rail that protrudes downward is formed on the upper frame. A rail accommodation guide that accommodates the downward-protruding rail of the upper frame is formed on the upper end of the shoji screen. The downward-protruding rail of the upper frame is accommodated and guided in the rail accommodation guide of the shoji screen, allowing the shoji screen to slide left and right within the frame body in the front direction.

Inner windows are sometimes installed on the inside of existing windows during renovations. In such cases, insufficient adjustment during construction or deformation of the mounting surface due to deterioration over time can cause the downward-protruding rail on the upper frame to become less engaged with the rail-receiving guide of the shoji screen, which can cause the shoji screen to fall off and the inner window screen to collapse. For this reason, measures to prevent inner window screen screens from falling off are desired.

The objective of this disclosure is to provide an inner window that allows the viewer to recognize that there is little interference between the screen and the upper frame when attaching the screen to the frame and when using the window after installation.

The present disclosure relates to an inner window that is arranged on the indoor side of an outer window, comprising a frame body having an upper frame and a shoji screen that is arranged within the frame body and can slide laterally, the upper frame having a downwardly protruding rail that protrudes downward, the shoji screen having a rail housing guide part that opens upward and houses at least a part of the downwardly protruding rail to guide the sliding movement of the shoji screen in the lateral direction, the rail housing guide part having a narrow width part that is provided on the upper side of the part that opens upward and is formed with a narrower width interval in the projection direction than the lower side, and the lower end side of the downwardly protruding rail has a protrusion part formed in at least a part of the movement range of the sliding movement of the shoji screen that is thicker in the projection direction than the thickness of the upper side of the downwardly protruding rail and that can interfere with the narrow width part when the rail housing guide part does not engage the downwardly protruding rail much.

This is a front view of the inner window of the embodiment as seen from the indoor side. 2 is a cross-sectional view taken along line AA in FIG. 1. 2 is a cross-sectional view taken along line BB in FIG. 1. 2 is a cross-sectional view taken along line CC of FIG. 1. FIG. This shows the state in which the airtight material that constitutes the narrow portion comes into contact with the protrusion portion when the inner screen is not fully engaged. This figure shows the state in which the inclined surface portion of the anti-vibration member that constitutes the narrow portion comes into contact with the protrusion portion when the inner screen is not fully engaged.

One embodiment of the present disclosure will be described in detail below with reference to the drawings. In this specification, the term "visible direction" refers to the surface direction of the glass in the interior window 1 placed in an opening formed in the wall of a building, and the term "visible direction" refers to the thickness direction of the glass (i.e., the depth direction). In the drawings, the outdoor side is referred to as "OUTSIDE" and the indoor side is referred to as "INSIDE."

The inner window 1 of this embodiment constitutes the indoor window of a double-glazed window. The double-glazed window is placed in an opening formed in the wall of a building. A double-glazed window is formed by installing an outer window (not shown) in a frame provided in the opening of the building, and installing the inner window 1 on the indoor side of the outer window.

The outer window (not shown) constitutes the outdoor window of the double-glazed window. The outer window is located closer to the outdoors than the inner window 1. The outer window is a so-called sliding window, and although not shown in the figures, it is constructed by fitting an inner and outer screen into a rectangular window frame so that they can be opened and closed.

The inner window 1 is placed on the indoor side of the outer window. In this embodiment, for example, the inner window 1 is installed on the indoor side of the outer window through renovation after the outer window has been installed. Note that double-glazed windows are not limited to those in which an inner window is added to the indoor side of an outer window through renovation, but the outer window and inner window may be installed simultaneously during new construction.

The inner window 1 is a so-called sliding window, and as shown in Figures 1 and 2, it comprises a window frame 2 (frame body), an inner shoji screen 3 (shutter screen) and an outer shoji screen 4 (shutter screen) that are arranged within the window frame 2 so that they can be opened and closed.

An inner screen 3 and an outer screen 4 are attached to the inside of the window frame 2. The window frame 2 is framed in a rectangular shape by an elongated upper frame 21, a lower frame 22, and left and right vertical frames 23, 24. The window frame 2 is composed of a resin frame made of, for example, a synthetic resin such as polyvinyl chloride resin, which is extruded into a molded product. The upper frame 21, the lower frame 22, and the left and right vertical frames 23, 24 are each fixed to the inner peripheral surface of, for example, a frame member (not shown).

As shown in Figure 1, the upper frame 21 extends in the left-right direction (horizontal direction) in the viewing direction at the top of the window frame 2. As shown in Figure 2, the upper frame 21 has an upper frame upper panel portion 211, an upper frame downward protruding rail 212 (downward protruding rail) for the inner shoji screen, an upper frame downward protruding rail 213 (downward protruding rail) for the outer shoji screen, and an upper frame interior downward extending wall portion 214.

The upper frame upper panel portion 211 is positioned at the top of the upper frame 21 and is formed in the shape of a plate extending in the projection direction.

The upper frame downward protruding rail 212 for the inner shoji protrudes downward from the underside of the indoor side of the upper frame upper panel portion 211. The upper frame downward protruding rail 213 for the outer shoji protrudes downward from the underside of the outer window side (outdoor side) of the upper frame upper panel portion 211. The upper frame downward protruding rail 212 for the inner shoji and the upper frame downward protruding rail 213 for the outer shoji are formed to extend in the left-right direction (horizontal direction) in the viewing direction, and are formed over the entire longitudinal area of the upper frame 21.

The inner screen 3 can slide left and right in the front view within the window frame 2 by the inner screen upper frame downward protruding rail 212 being guided by the upper rail guide 312 (rail accommodating guide portion) (described later) formed at the upper end of the inner screen 3. The outer screen 4 can slide left and right in the front view within the window frame 2 by the outer screen upper frame downward protruding rail 213 being guided by the upper rail guide 412 (rail accommodating guide portion) (described later) formed at the upper end of the outer screen 4.

The upper frame downward-protruding rail 212 for the inner sash and the upper frame downward-protruding rail 213 for the outer sash each have a rail body 215 that protrudes downward from the underside of the upper frame upper panel portion 211, and a pair of protrusions 216 formed at the lower end of the rail body 215.

The rail body 215 has a hollow portion and is formed with a vertically long rectangular cross section. The rail body 215 is formed over the entire longitudinal area of the upper frame 21. A pair of protrusions 216 protrude from the lower end of the rail body 215 toward both the indoor and outdoor sides.

The pair of protrusions 216 are formed integrally with the rail body 215. The pair of protrusions 216 are formed so that their thickness in the projection direction is greater than the spacing between the widths of the narrow portions 38 (described later) in the projection direction, and greater than the thickness of the upper side of the rail body 215, making it possible for them to come into contact (interfere with) the narrow portions 38 (described later). When the protrusions 216 come into contact with the narrow portions 38, the opening and closing of the inner and outer screens 3 and 4 becomes heavier than when the upper portion of the rail body 215 comes into contact with the narrow portions 38. In this embodiment, the protrusions 216 are formed with a cross-sectional shape that protrudes in an arc shape on both the indoor and outdoor sides of the rail body 215.

The pair of protrusions 216 are each formed over the entire longitudinal area of the rail body 215. As a result, the pair of protrusions 216 are each formed over the entire range of the sliding movement of the inner screen 3 and the outer screen 4. The vertical positions of the pair of protrusions 216 are set to a position that allows them to contact the narrow width portion 38 (described later) when the upper rail guides 312, 412 (described later) and the anti-sway member 6 (described later) of the upper frames 31, 41 are not sufficiently engaged with the inner screen upper frame downward protruding rail 212 and the outer screen upper frame downward protruding rail 213.

The upper frame interior downward extending wall portion 214 is positioned on the interior side of the inner shoji screen 3 and extends downward a predetermined length from the end of the upper frame upper panel portion 211 facing the interior side in the forward direction. In this embodiment, the lower end portion 214a of the upper frame interior downward extending wall portion 214 is located above the lower end portion 212a of the upper frame downward protruding rail 212 for the inner shoji screen and the lower end portion 213a of the upper frame downward protruding rail 213 for the outer shoji screen.

As shown in FIG. 1, the bottom frame 22 extends in the left-right direction (horizontal direction) at the bottom of the window frame 2. The lower rail 221 for the inner screen is erected upward on the upper surface of the indoor side of the lower frame 22. A wheel 321 arranged at the lower end of the lower frame 32 of the inner screen 3 engages with the lower rail 221 for the inner screen. This allows the inner screen 3 to slide left and right in the front direction within the window frame 2.

The lower rail 222 for the outer screen is erected upward on the upper surface of the outer window side (outdoor side) of the lower frame 22. A wheel 421 arranged at the lower end of the lower frame 42 of the outer screen 4 engages with the lower rail 222 for the outer screen. This allows the outer screen 4 to slide left and right in the front direction within the window frame 2.

As shown in FIG. 1, the left and right vertical frames 23, 24 extend vertically at both ends of the upper frame 21 and the lower frame 22 in the left-right direction of the front view. The left and right vertical frames 23, 24 form the sides of the window frame 2.

The inner screen 3 and the outer screen 4 are both sliding doors that can be slid left and right (horizontally) in the viewing direction, forming a so-called sliding window in which the opening of the window frame 2 can be closed or opened.

As shown in Fig. 1, the inner shoji screen 3 is composed of a rectangular frame body 35 formed by a long upper frame 31, a long lower frame 32, a left and right vertical frame, a front frame 34, and glass 36 fitted and fixed in the frame body 35. The outer shoji screen 4 is composed of a rectangular frame body 45 formed by a long upper frame 41, a long lower frame 42, a left and right vertical frame, a front frame 43, and glass 46 fitted and fixed in the frame body 45.

The frame 35, 45 is made of resin, for example, formed by extrusion molding of synthetic resin such as polyvinyl chloride resin. In this embodiment, the glass 36, 46 is made of, for example, two-layer glass. A crescent lock 331 for locking the door is provided on the visible surface of the inner frame 33 of the inner screen 3.

As shown in FIG. 2, rollers 321, 421 are provided at the bottom inside the lower frames 32, 42. The horizontal bottom plate portion 314, 414 constitutes the bottom of the upper rail guide 312, 412 and is formed in a plate shape extending in the prospective direction. The horizontal bottom plate portion 314, 414 is formed to extend horizontally so as to horizontally connect the pair of vertical plate portions 313, 413 midway in the up-down direction between the pair of vertical plate portions 313, 413.

The pair of upper L-shaped bent plate portions 315, 415 are disposed inside the pair of vertical plate portions 313, 413 at the upper ends of the pair of vertical plate portions 313, 413. The pair of upper L-shaped bent plate portions 315, 415 have extension plate portions 315a, 415a that extend from the upper ends of the vertical plate portions 313, 413 to the inside of the pair of vertical plate portions 313, 413, and mounting plate portions 315b, 415b that extend a predetermined length downward from the inner ends of the extension plate portions 315a, 415a.

An airtight material 51 is provided on the inner surface of each of the mounting plate portions 315b and 415b. The airtight material 51 has a fixed portion 511 that is fixed to the mounting plate portions 315b and 415b, and an airtight piece 512 that extends upward from the lower end of the fixed portion 511 toward the inner frame upper frame downward protruding rail 212 side or the outer frame upper frame downward protruding rail 213 side. The upper end of the airtight piece 512 abuts against the side of the inner frame upper frame downward protruding rail 212 or the outer frame upper frame downward protruding rail 213 of the upper frame 21.

The pair of bent inclined plate sections 316, 416 has a protruding plate 316a, 416a that protrudes from the middle of the pair of vertical plate sections 313, 413 in the up-down direction toward the inside of the pair of vertical plate sections 313, 413, and a linear inclined plate section 316b, 416b that extends downward from the inner end of the protruding plate 316a, 416a toward the inside of the pair of vertical plate sections 313, 413.

A narrow section 38 is formed on the upper side of the portion of the upper rail guide 312, 412 that opens upward. The narrow section 38 is formed by providing a pair of upper end L-shaped bent plate sections 315, 415 and airtight material 51 spaced apart in the prospective direction. The width of the narrow section 38 in the prospective direction is narrower than that of the lower side.

When there is little engagement between the upper rail guide 312 of the inner screen 3 and the downwardly protruding rail 212 of the upper frame for the inner screen, the protrusion 216 at the lower end of the downwardly protruding rail 212 of the upper frame for the inner screen can come into contact with the airtight material 51 of the narrow section 38. As a result, when there is little engagement between the upper rail guide 312 of the inner screen 3 and the downwardly protruding rail 212 of the upper frame for the inner screen, the protrusion 216 comes into contact with the airtight material 51 of the narrow section 38, making it difficult for the inner screen 3 to open and close, and the movement of the inner screen 3 becomes stiff or stops, which makes it possible to detect poor construction of the inner screen 3.

As shown in FIG. 1, anti-sway members 6 (rail accommodation guide parts) are arranged on the upper part of the inner frame 33 of the inner screen 3, the upper part of the end frame 34 of the inner screen 3, and the upper part of the outer frame 43 and end frame 44 of the outer screen 4.

The following description will explain the details of the anti-sway member 6 placed on the top of the door end frame 34 of the inner shoji 3. The configuration of the anti-sway member 6 placed on the top of the inner frame 33 of the inner shoji 3 is the same as the configuration of the anti-sway member 6 placed on the top of the door end frame 34 of the inner shoji 3 with the left-right orientation reversed, so the description will be omitted. The configuration of the anti-sway member 6 placed on the top of the door end frame 44 and the outer frame 43 of the outer shoji 4 is the same as the configuration of the anti-sway member 6 placed on the top of the door end frame 34 and the inner frame 33 of the inner shoji 3, so the description will be omitted.

As shown in FIG. 4, the anti-sway member 6, which is placed on the upper part of the door end frame 34 of the inner screen 3, is placed in an opening 37 that opens upward and is formed on the upper part of the door end frame 34 of the inner screen 3. The anti-sway member 6 is provided at the upper end of the end in the direction of the sliding movement of the inner screen 3. The anti-sway member 6 suppresses the swing of the inner screen 3. The anti-sway member 6 accommodates and guides the inner screen upper frame downward protruding rail 212 (downward protruding rail).

As shown in Figures 4 and 5, the anti-sway member 6 has a cross-sectional U-shaped anti-sway member body 61 that is open at the top, and a plate-shaped engaging packing plate 63. The anti-sway member body 61 and the engaging packing plate 63 are integrally formed. The anti-sway member body 61 has a pair of upper plates 62, 62. The pair of upper plates 62, 62 each extend outward in the projection direction from the upper end of the anti-sway member body 61.

The anti-sway member body 61 is placed in the opening 37 of the door end frame 34. When cut along the projection direction, the anti-sway member body 61 has a cross-sectional U-shape that opens upward. The anti-sway member body 61 has a bottom surface 611, a pair of vertical surface portions 612 that extend upward at the same interval in the projection direction at the lower part of the U-shape, and a pair of inclined surface portions 613 that slope upward at the upper part of the U-shape so that the interval in the projection direction narrows as it goes from the lower side to the upper side toward the center in the projection direction.

The engaging packing plate 63 is formed in a plate shape and is arranged at the outer end in the left-right direction of the inner screen 3 in the view direction. The engaging packing plate 63 is attached to the end face of the outer end in the left-right direction of the view direction of the anti-vibration member main body 61. The engaging packing plate 63 is formed, for example, from a resin material. The engaging packing plate 63 has a recess 631 formed in the upper part that is recessed downward. The lower part of the inner screen upper frame downward protruding rail 212 is arranged in the recess 631.

The engaging packing plate 63 comes into contact with the downwardly protruding rail 212 of the upper frame for the inner screen at the U-shaped edge of the recess 631. As a result, when the inner screen 3 moves left and right in the viewing direction, the downwardly protruding rail 212 of the upper frame for the inner screen moves while contacting the engaging packing plate 63, and the engaging packing plate 63 functions as an airtight member.

The anti-sway member 6 has an inner screen upper frame downward protruding rail 212 arranged between a pair of vertical surfaces 612 or a pair of inclined surfaces 613 of the anti-sway member body 61, so that when the inner screen 3 slides in the viewing direction within the window frame 2, the movement of the inner screen 3 in the indoor/outdoor directions is restricted, and rattling between the inner screen 3 and the window frame 2 is suppressed.

In the anti-sway member body 61, a narrow width portion 39 is formed on the upper side of the part that opens upward. The narrow width portion 39 is formed by providing a pair of inclined surface portions 613. The narrow width portion 39 is formed so that the width interval in the prospective direction is narrower than that of the lower side. When the anti-sway member 6 of the inner screen 3 and the upper frame downward protruding rail 212 for the inner screen are not fully engaged, the pair of inclined surface portions 613 of the narrow width portion 39 can be contacted by the protruding stripe portion 216 at the lower end of the upper frame downward protruding rail 212 for the inner screen. As a result, when the anti-sway member 6 of the inner screen 3 and the upper frame downward protruding rail 212 for the inner screen are not fully engaged, the protruding stripe portion 216 comes into contact with the pair of inclined surface portions 613 of the narrow width portion 39, making it difficult to open and close the inner screen 3, and the movement of the inner screen 3 becomes stiff or stops, which allows the construction of the inner screen 3 to be detected as being poor.

Next, we will explain the construction procedure for the inner window 1. We will explain how to fit the inner screen 3 and outer screen 4 into the window frame 2 when constructing the inner window 1. The inner screen 3 and outer screen 4 are fitted into the window frame 2 using the so-called Kendon method.

When the outer screen 4 is incorporated into the window frame 2 using the Kendon method, the upper part of the outer screen 4 is tilted toward the inside of the window frame 2 of the inner window 1, and the outer screen 4 is gradually raised while being lifted upward, and the upper rail guide 412 of the outer screen 4 is inserted into the outer screen upper frame downward protruding rail 213 of the upper frame 21, and then it is lifted further upward and then lowered downward to insert the rollers 321 of the outer screen 4 into the outer screen lower rail 222 of the lower frame 22. When fitting the inner screen 3 into the window frame 2 using the Kendon method, the upper part of the inner screen 3 is tilted toward the inside of the window frame 2 of the inner window 1, and the inner screen 3 is gradually raised while being lifted upward, and the upper rail guide 312 of the inner screen 3 is inserted into the inner screen upper frame downward protruding rail 212 of the upper frame 21, and after being lifted further upward, it is lowered downward to insert the wheel 321 of the inner screen 3 into the inner screen lower rail 221 of the lower frame 22.

Then, adjust the anti-sway member 6 at the left and right ends of the upper end of the inner screen 3 so that it fits properly between the inner screen 3 and the lower protruding rail 212 of the upper frame for the inner screen of the upper frame 21. Adjust the anti-sway member 6 at the left and right ends of the upper end of the outer screen 4 so that it fits properly between the outer screen 4 and the lower protruding rail 213 of the upper frame for the outer screen of the upper frame 21.

Next, the inner screen 3 and the outer screen 4 are slid left and right in the facing direction to check the operation. As shown in Figure 6, when the upper rail guide 312 of the inner screen 3 and the inner screen upper frame downward protruding rail 212 are not fully engaged, the protrusion 216 of the downward protruding rail (inner screen upper frame downward protruding rail 212, outer screen upper frame downward protruding rail 213) comes into contact with the airtight material 51 that constitutes the narrow width portion 38, and the protrusion 216 comes into contact with the airtight material 51 that constitutes the narrow width portion 38, and the upper part of the downward protruding rail (inner screen upper frame downward protruding rail 212, outer screen upper frame downward protruding rail 213) comes into contact with the airtight material 51 that constitutes the narrow width portion 38. This makes it harder to open and close the screen (inner screen 3, outer screen 4), and the movement of the inner screen 3 becomes stiff or stops, so that poor construction of the inner screen 3 can be detected. Here, we have explained the inner screen 3, but the same applies to the outer screen 4.

As shown in FIG. 7, when the engagement between the anti-sway member 6 attached to the inner screen 3 and the inner screen upper frame downward protruding rail 212 is small, the protrusion 216 comes into contact with a pair of inclined surfaces 613, 613 of the anti-sway member main body 61 constituting the narrow width portion 39, and the upper portion of the downward protruding rail (inner screen upper frame downward protruding rail 212, outer screen upper frame downward protruding rail 213) comes into contact with a pair of inclined surfaces 613, 613 of the anti-sway member main body 61 constituting the narrow width portion 39. This makes it harder to open and close the screen (inner screen 3, outer screen 4), and the movement of the inner screen 3 becomes stiff or stops, so that poor construction of the inner screen 3 can be detected. Here, the inner screen 3 has been described, but the same is true for the outer screen 4.

According to this embodiment, the following effects are achieved. The inner window 1 of this embodiment is equipped with a shoji (inner shoji 3, outer shoji 4) that is arranged within the window frame 2 and can slide laterally, the upper frame 21 has a downwardly protruding rail that protrudes downward (upper frame downwardly protruding rail 212 for inner shoji, upper frame downwardly protruding rail 213 for outer shoji), and the shoji (inner shoji 3, outer shoji 4) has a rail accommodation guide part (upper rail guide 312, 412, anti-sway member 6) that opens upward and accommodates at least a part of the downwardly protruding rail (upper frame downwardly protruding rail 212 for inner shoji, upper frame downwardly protruding rail 213 for outer shoji) to guide the sliding movement of the shoji (inner shoji 3, outer shoji 4) in the lateral direction, and the rail accommodation guide part (upper rail guide 312, 412, anti-sway member 6) is located on the upper side of the part that opens upward. The narrow width portions 38, 39 are formed with a narrower width gap in the projection direction than the lower side, and at the lower end of the downwardly protruding rails (upper frame downwardly protruding rail 212 for the inner screen, upper frame downwardly protruding rail 213 for the outer screen), a protrusion portion 216 is formed whose thickness in the projection direction is greater than the thickness of the upper side of the downwardly protruding rails (upper frame downwardly protruding rail 212 for the inner screen, upper frame downwardly protruding rail 213 for the outer screen) in at least a part of the range of sliding movement of the screens (inner screen 3, outer screen 4) and which can interfere with the narrow width portions 38, 39 when the rail accommodation guide portion (upper rail guides 312, 412, anti-sway member 6) does not engage the downwardly protruding rails (upper frame downwardly protruding rail 212 for the inner screen, upper frame downwardly protruding rail 213 for the outer screen).

As a result, in the case of the shoji screens (inner shoji screen 3, outer shoji screen 4), when there is little engagement between the downwardly protruding rail (inner shoji screen upper frame downwardly protruding rail 212, outer shoji screen upper frame downwardly protruding rail 213) and the rail accommodating guide portion (upper rail guide 312, 412, anti-vibration member 6), the protrusion portion 216 comes into contact with the airtight material 51 that constitutes the narrow width portion 38, making it harder to open and close the shoji screens (inner shoji screen 3, outer shoji screen 4) than when the upper portion of the downwardly protruding rail (inner shoji screen upper frame downwardly protruding rail 212, outer shoji screen upper frame downwardly protruding rail 213) comes into contact with the airtight material 51 that constitutes the narrow width portion 38. In addition, when there is little engagement between the anti-sway member 6 attached to the shoji screen (inner shoji screen 3, outer shoji screen 4) and the downward protruding rail (inner shoji screen upper frame downward protruding rail 212, outer shoji screen upper frame downward protruding rail 213), the protrusion portion 216 comes into contact with a pair of inclined surface portions 613, 613 of the anti-sway member main body 61 that constitutes the narrow width portion 39, making it harder to open and close the shoji screen (inner shoji screen 3, outer shoji screen 4) than when the upper portion of the downward protruding rail (inner shoji screen upper frame downward protruding rail 212, outer shoji screen upper frame downward protruding rail 213) comes into contact with a pair of inclined surface portions 613, 613 of the anti-sway member main body 61 that constitutes the narrow width portion 39. Therefore, when the movement of the screens (inner screen 3, outer screen 4) becomes stiff or stops, it can be recognized that there is little engagement between the screens (inner screen 3, outer screen 4) and the upper frame 21, and poor construction of the screens (inner screen 3, outer screen 4) can be detected.

In this embodiment, the protrusion portion 216 is formed over the entire area of the downward protruding rail (upper frame downward protruding rail for inner screen 212, upper frame downward protruding rail for outer screen 213) in the direction of movement of the screen (inner screen 3, outer screen 4). This makes it possible to recognize that there is little engagement between the screen (inner screen 3, outer screen 4) and the upper frame 21 at any position of the screen (inner screen 3, outer screen 4), and makes it possible to detect poor construction of the screen (inner screen 3, outer screen 4).

In this embodiment, the protrusion 216 is formed in a convex shape that protrudes from the downward protruding rail (inner screen upper frame downward protruding rail 212, outer screen upper frame downward protruding rail 213) at least toward either the indoor side or the outdoor side. This makes it easier for the protrusion 216 to come into contact with the rail accommodation guide portion (upper rail guides 312, 412, anti-vibration member 6) when there is little engagement between the screen (inner screen 3, outer screen 4) and the upper frame 21. This makes it easier to recognize that there is little engagement between the screen (inner screen 3, outer screen 4) and the upper frame 21.

In this embodiment, the narrow portion 38 has an airtight material 51 that can come into contact with (interfere with) the protrusion 216. This allows the airtight material 51 to have a water-stopping function, while the airtight material 51 comes into contact with the protrusion 216, making it possible to recognize that there is little interference between the screen (inner screen 3, outer screen 4) and the upper frame 21.

In this embodiment, the shoji screens (inner shoji screen 3, outer shoji screen 4) have a vibration prevention member 6 that is provided at the upper end of the end of the sliding movement direction of the shoji screens (inner shoji screen 3, outer shoji screen 4) and suppresses the vibration of the shoji screens (inner shoji screen 3, outer shoji screen 4), and the vibration prevention member 6 accommodates and guides (inner shoji screen upper frame downward protruding rail 212, outer shoji screen upper frame downward protruding rail 213). As a result, the vibration prevention member 6 also has a narrow width portion 39, and when the shoji screens (inner shoji screen 3, outer shoji screen 4) and the upper frame 21 are not engaged closely, the narrow width portion 39 of the vibration prevention member 6 comes into contact with the protruding portion 216, making it possible to recognize that the shoji screens (inner shoji screen 3, outer shoji screen 4) and the upper frame 21 are not engaged closely.
