また、特許文献2(米国特許第10514732号明細書)には、パソコンケース(smart computer case 100)の上部等に排気孔(exhaust vents 107)が設けられている点(第6頁第3~12行及びFIG.1参照)や、パソコンケース(100)の上部にトップパネル(top panels)が設けられている点(第6頁第20~29行及びFIG.1参照)が記載されている。

4組の下段柱状体4及び上段柱状体5は、いずれもネオジウム磁石からなっており、4個の下段柱状体4は、筐体1の上面の四隅に配置され、磁力によって固定される。
4個の上段柱状体5は、4個の下段柱状体4の上面に載置された上部カバー3の四隅(下段柱状体4の上面と対向する位置)に配置され、上部カバー3を磁力によって挟み付けて固定する。

そして、下段柱状体4の下面及び上面に貼付したエラストマー製の透明粘着シール6及び下段柱状体4’の下面及び上面に貼付したエラストマー製の透明粘着シール6’は、いずれも厚さが0.8mmとなっており、下段柱状体4、4’の下面を磁力で筐体1の上面に吸着させる際に、下段柱状体4、4’が筐体1にぶつかって筐体1の表面に傷をつけたり、下段柱状体4、4’が欠けたりすることを防止できる。
さらに、エラストマー製の透明粘着シール6、6’は、下段柱状体4、4’を筐体1の上面に吸着させる際や、上部カバー3を下段柱状体4、4’と上段柱状体5、5’で挟み付けて固定した後において、下段柱状体4、4’が筐体1の上面で滑りにくくなり、上部カバー3が下段柱状体4、4’の上面で滑りにくくなるという効果も奏する。

(2)実施例の下段柱状体4、4’及び上段柱状体5、5’は、いずれもネオジウム磁石からなっていたが、ネオジウム磁石に限らず永久磁石であれば良く、下段柱状体4、4’は磁性体からなる筐体1の上面に吸着させるのに十分な磁力を有し、上段柱状体5、5’は上部カバー3を下段柱状体4、4’との間に挟み付けて固定するのに十分な磁力を有していれば良い

また、断面形状は、筐体1の大きさや上部カバー3の重さや材質等に応じて、様々な形状及び大きさとすることができるが、円形とする場合には直径8~30mmの範囲から選択すれば良く、正方形とする場合には一辺8~30mmの範囲から選択すれば良い。
さらに、他の断面形状としては、長方形、菱形、三角形、六角形、八角形等を含む多角形、楕円形、半円形、扇形及びL字形からも選択でき、断面形状を変化させても良い。
いずれの場合も、下段柱状体の上面及び下面の面積は50~900mmから選択し、80~400mmから選択するのがより好ましい。
(4)実施例の上段柱状体5、5’は、高さが12mmで断面形状が一辺12mmの正方形又は直径12mmの円形(下段柱状体4、4’と同じ形状)であったが、高さや形状は持ち易さや意匠性を考慮して適宜選択可能である。ただし、上部カバー3を掃除するときに外し易く、かつ、使用時に邪魔にならないようにするため、高さは5~30mmとするのが好ましく、10~20mmとするのがより好ましい。
また、断面形状は、下段柱状体4、4’と同じ形状に限らず、異なる形状であっても良いが、下面の形状は、下段柱状体4、4’の上面と相似形状や類似形状(例えば、正方形に対して長方形や菱形、円形に対して楕円形)であった方がより良い。
そして、上段柱状体の下面の面積は、下段柱状体4の上面の面積の80~150%とするのが好ましく、90~120%とするのがより好ましい。

(4) In the embodiment, the upper columnar bodies 5, 5' have a height of 12 mm and a cross-sectional shape of a square with a side of 12 mm or a circle with a diameter of 12 mm (the same shape as the lower columnar bodies 4, 4'), but the height and shape can be appropriately selected in consideration of ease of holding and design. However, in order to make it easy to remove the upper cover 3 for cleaning and not to get in the way when using it, the height is preferably 5 to 30 mm, and more preferably 10 to 20 mm.
Furthermore, the cross-sectional shape is not limited to being the same as that of the lower columns 4, 4' and may be a different shape, but it is better for the shape of the lower surface to be similar or similar to that of the upper surfaces of the lower columns 4, 4' (for example, a rectangle or diamond compared to a square, or an ellipse compared to a circle).

なお、上部カバー3の下面には傷がつきにくく、傷がついたとしてもそれほど気にならないので、クッション材を下段柱状体4、4’の下面のみに固着しても良い。
また、エラストマー製の透明粘着シール6、6’を貼付するのに代えて、エラストマー製の板や摩擦抵抗の大きいゴム製の板を接着剤や両面粘着シール等によって固着しても良く、図4に示すように、下段柱状体4、4’の上面及び下面より少し小さい凹部を有するエラストマー製又はゴム製の干渉部材7、7’を用意し、下段柱状体4、4’の上面及び下面に干渉部材7、7’を押し込んで固着しても良く、下段柱状体4、4’の上面及び下面付近又は全面に樹脂コーティングを施しても良い。
そこで、本明細書及び特許請求の範囲では、エラストマー製の透明粘着シール6、6’、凹部を有するエラストマー製又はゴム製の干渉部材7、7’、エラストマー製の板、ゴム製の板及び樹脂コーティングのことを総称してクッション材と呼ぶことにする。
さらに、下段柱状体4、4’だけでなく、上段柱状体5、5’の少なくとも下面にクッション材を固着すれば、上段柱状体5、5’による上部カバー3上面の損傷や、上段柱状体5、5’の欠け及び上部カバー3上面での滑りを防止できるので、より良い。
(6)実施例においては、下段柱状体4、4’の上面及び下面に厚さが0.8mmのエラストマー製の透明粘着シール6、6’を貼り付け、図4に示す変形例(5)においては、干渉部材7、7’を固着したが、エラストマー製の透明粘着シール6、6’及び干渉部材7、7’の厚さは、下段柱状体4、4’を筐体1の上面に磁力で固定する妨げにならなければ0.8mmに限られない。
ただし、厚すぎると磁着力が小さくなり、薄すぎるとクッション性や耐久性が悪くなるので、エラストマー製の透明粘着シール6、6’及び干渉部材7、7’(クッション材)の厚さは0.1~2mmが好ましく、0.6~1mmがより好ましい。

In addition, instead of attaching the transparent adhesive stickers 6, 6' made of an elastomer, an elastomer plate or a rubber plate with high frictional resistance may be fixed with an adhesive or a double-sided adhesive sticker, or as shown in Figure 4, an elastomer or rubber interference member 7, 7' having a recess slightly smaller than the upper and lower surfaces of the lower columns 4, 4' may be prepared and the interference member 7, 7' may be pressed into and fixed to the upper and lower surfaces of the lower columns 4, 4', or a resin coating may be applied near the upper and lower surfaces of the lower columns 4, 4' or over the entire surface.
Therefore, in this specification and claims, the elastomeric transparent adhesive seals 6, 6', the elastomeric or rubber interference members 7, 7' with recesses, the elastomeric plate, the rubber plate and the resin coating are collectively referred to as cushioning materials.
Furthermore, if cushioning material is fixed not only to the lower columns 4, 4' but also to at least the undersides of the upper columns 5, 5', it is possible to prevent damage to the upper surface of the upper cover 3 caused by the upper columns 5, 5', and to prevent the upper columns 5, 5' from chipping and slipping on the upper surface of the upper cover 3, which is even better.
(6) In the embodiment, 0.8 mm thick transparent adhesive stickers 6, 6' made of elastomer are attached to the upper and lower surfaces of the lower columns 4, 4', and in the modified example (5) shown in Figure 4, interference members 7, 7' are fixed. However, the thickness of the transparent adhesive stickers 6, 6' made of elastomer and the interference members 7, 7' is not limited to 0.8 mm as long as it does not interfere with the magnetic fixation of the lower columns 4, 4' to the upper surface of the housing 1.
However, if it is too thick, the magnetic force will be weak, and if it is too thin, the cushioning and durability will be poor, so the thickness of the elastomer transparent adhesive seals 6, 6' and interference members 7, 7' (cushioning material) is preferably 0.1 to 2 mm, and more preferably 0.6 to 1 mm.

その目的は、筐体1の上面が歪んでいたり一部に凹凸があったりすると、4個の下段柱状体4、4’の上面に上部カバー3を載置したとき、ガタツキが生じる場合があるところ、柔らかいシートの作用により4つの上面の高さを調整しガタツキを防ぐためである。
(8)実施例の上部カバー3は透明な平板ガラスであったが、半透明のガラス板や透明又は半透明の樹脂板であっても良く、不透明な樹脂、木又は金属の板であっても良い。
また、上面側の周囲を高くしたり、縁の周囲に少なくとも上面側に突出するフレームを取り付けたりすると、上部カバー3の上に載せていたものが落ちにくくなり、液体がこぼれた場合に上部カバー3から流出しにくくなるので、より良い。
さらに、上部カバー3を透明又は半透明のガラス板若しくは樹脂板として、パソコンケースに内蔵されている発光体の光が、上部カバーを通して見える場合には、上部カバー3の周囲の一部(上部カバー3が平面視で長方形である場合、1辺~3辺の全部又は一部)から上方に延びるミラー、反射板、透明板又は半透明板を設置すれば、光の反射効果や導光効果によって、パソコンケースの見栄えをより良くすることができる。

(8) In the embodiment, the upper cover 3 is a transparent flat glass plate. However, it may be a translucent glass plate, a transparent or translucent resin plate, or an opaque resin, wood, or metal plate.
Also, if the periphery of the upper surface is made higher or a frame that protrudes at least toward the upper surface is attached around the edge, it is better because it makes it difficult for items placed on the upper cover 3 to fall off and makes it difficult for liquid to flow out of the upper cover 3 if it is spilled.
Furthermore, if the top cover 3 is a transparent or translucent glass or resin plate and the light from the light-emitting element built into the computer case is visible through the top cover, then by installing a mirror, reflector, transparent or translucent plate extending upward from part of the periphery of the top cover 3 (if the top cover 3 is rectangular in a plan view, all or part of one to three sides), the appearance of the computer case can be improved by the light reflection and light guiding effects.

(9)本発明に係るパソコンケースのカバー固定具及びカバーを、ユーザに提供する際には、次のような提供のしかたが考えられる。
A:パソコンケースのカバー固定具のみ(下段柱状体4、上段柱状体5及びエラストマー製の透明粘着シール6若しくは干渉部材7)を提供する。
この場合、ユーザは、所有するパソコンの筐体上面と同等の大きさを有する適当な厚さのガラス板や樹脂板等を購入して上部カバーとし、その上部カバーを、カバー固定具を用いて、所有しているパソコンの筐体の上面に取り付ければ良い。
B:パソコンケースの上部カバー3と、カバー固定具(パソコンケースのカバー)を提供する。
この場合、ユーザは、パソコンケースのカバーを入手するに際して、上部カバー3の大きさが所有するパソコンの筐体上面と同等の大きさであるか確認し、カバー固定具を用いて、所有しているパソコンの筐体の上面に上部カバー3を取り付ければ良い。
C:筐体1と、筐体1の上面の大きさに適合するパソコンケースのカバーを提供する。
この場合、ユーザは、筐体1に各種基板や電源等をセットした後、カバー固定具を用いて、筐体1の上面に上部カバー3を取り付ければ良い。
D:筐体1に各種基板や電源等をセットしたパソコンと、筐体1の上面の大きさに適合するパソコンケースのカバーを提供する。
なお、パソコンの筐体1にカバー固定具を用いて上部カバー3を取り付けた状態で提供しても良いし、パソコンケースのカバーを外した状態で提供しても良い。
そして、パソコンケースのカバーを外した状態で入手したユーザは、カバー固定具を用いて、筐体1の上面に上部カバー3を取り付けることとなる。

The personal computer may be provided with the upper cover 3 attached to the housing 1 of the personal computer using a cover fastener, or with the cover of the personal computer case removed.

筐体の上面に排気孔が設けられているパソコンケースの上方に上部カバーを取り付けるためのカバー固定具であって、
3個以上の永久磁石よりなる下段柱状体及び上段柱状体を備え、
前記下段柱状体は、高さが50mm以下、かつ、上面及び下面の面積が50~900mmであり、
前記上段柱状体は、下面の面積が前記下段柱状体の上面の面積の80~150%であって、
前記筐体の上面の排気孔の無い領域の3箇所以上に、前記下段柱状体の下面を磁力によって固着し、
前記上部カバーを前記3個以上の下段柱状体の上面に載置し、
前記上部カバーの上の前記下段柱状体の上面に対応する位置に前記上段柱状体を載置することにより、前記パソコンケースの上方に前記上部カバーを固定する
ことを特徴とするパソコンケースのカバー固定具。
