ストッパー4は、操作部7が前後方向軸24回りに回動可能に設けてあり、操作部7を垂下した状態から棚板6の幅方向内側に動かすことで解除されるようにしたので、バネ等が不要でストッパー4の構造を単純にでき、耐久性、動作の安定性が優れている。また、客が棚板6から商品を取り出す際に手などがストッパー4に当たってもストッパー4が解除されず、したがって客が誤ってストッパー4を解除して棚板6が飛び出す心配がない。
