Description

The present invention relates to a hanging device that can hang a hanging object such as a commodity.

Conventionally, hanging devices and fixtures have been used to hang and display items such as merchandise (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

Hanging devices used to suspend products and other objects are often made of metal. Such hanging devices may become unusable if the size of the product or other object being suspended changes. In such cases, the hanging devices are usually discarded and are rarely recycled.

The present invention was made to solve the above problems, and aims to provide a hanging device that can be easily recycled.

In order to achieve the above-mentioned objective, a hanging device according to one embodiment of the present invention is a hanging device comprising a rectangular paper box-shaped portion including a front panel and a back panel, the box-shaped portion having a hanging portion extending in one direction with its base end connected to the back panel, and the front panel is formed with a window portion supporting the hanging portion so that it slopes upward from the base end to the tip.
With this configuration, since the hanging tool is made of paper, it can be easily recycled even when it is no longer needed, making it possible to provide an environmentally friendly hanging tool.

In a suspender according to one aspect of the present invention, the suspending portion may include a plate-like member having all but the base end cut away from the back plate.
With such a configuration, the hanging portion can be formed more easily, and as a result, the productivity in manufacturing the hanging device can be improved.

Furthermore, in a suspender according to one aspect of the present invention, the suspending portion may further include a reinforcing member that is affixed to the plate-like member and has the same shape as the plate-like member.
With this configuration, the strength of the hanging portion can be improved.

In the hanger according to one aspect of the present invention, the reinforcing member may be cut out from the back panel.
This configuration allows for more efficient use of materials compared to a case in which a reinforcing member is separately provided.

Furthermore, in the hanging device according to one aspect of the present invention, the box-shaped portion may have a screen portion that is connected to an upper side of the window portion and covers at least the upper side of the window portion.
With this configuration, the opening of the window can be blocked by the screen, improving the aesthetic appearance when a hanging object such as a commodity is hung from the hanging tool.

Furthermore, the suspension device according to one aspect of the present invention may include two box-shaped portions provided side by side in the left-right direction, and the front plates of the two box-shaped portions may be continuous in the left-right direction.
With this configuration, two box-shaped sections can be formed on a common continuous front panel, which allows more objects to be hung, simplifies the front panel, and improves its strength.

Also, in a hanging device according to one aspect of the present invention, the box-shaped portion may have upper and lower panels that can be opened and closed, and the box-shaped portion may be foldable by opening the upper and lower panels.
This configuration allows the hanging device to be folded up to be compact for transport or storage.

According to one aspect of the present invention, the hanging device is made of paper, which increases recyclability.

The following describes the hanging device according to the present invention using an embodiment. In the following embodiments, components with the same reference numerals are the same or equivalent, and repeated explanations may be omitted. The hanging device according to this embodiment has a paper box-shaped portion, and the hanging portion, whose base end is connected to the back panel, is supported by a window portion so that it slopes upward from the base end to the tip.

Figure 1 is a front view of the hanging device 1 according to this embodiment, Figure 2 is a rear view of the hanging device 1, and Figure 3 is a perspective view of the hanging device 1. Figure 4 is a cross-sectional view of one hanging part 11 taken along line IV-IV in Figure 1. Figure 5 is an exploded view showing the hanging device 1 in an unfolded state. Figure 6 is a diagram showing the hanging device 1 in use with an object 2 to be hung suspended from it.

As shown in FIG. 2 and other figures, the hanging device 1 according to this embodiment has two box-shaped sections 10a and 10b arranged side by side in the left-right direction. When there is no need to distinguish between the box-shaped sections 10a and 10b, they may simply be called box-shaped section 10. The same applies to the back panels 22a and 22b described below. Each of the box-shaped sections 10a and 10b is made of paper and has a rectangular parallelepiped shape.

The box-shaped portion 10a includes a front plate 21a, a back plate 22a, a pair of opposing side plates 23a, an upper plate 24a, and a lower plate 25a. The box-shaped portion 10b includes a front plate 21b, a back plate 22b, a pair of opposing side plates 23b, an upper plate 24b, and a lower plate 25b. In this embodiment, the front plates 21a, 21b, the upper plates 24a, 24b, and the lower plates 25a, 25b of the two box-shaped portions 10a, 10b are continuous in the left-right direction. In other words, the front plates 21a, 21b, the upper plates 24a, 24b, and the lower plates 25a, 25b each form a single surface extending in the left-right direction, and the single front plate 21, the upper plate 24, and the lower plate 25 form the front, upper, and lower surfaces of the two box-shaped portions 10a, 10b. The front panels 21a and 21b being continuous may mean, for example, that they are adjacent to each other, or that they are not adjacent but form part of a single flat plate, i.e., that there is a part between them that connects them. In this embodiment, the latter case, that is, the case where the front panel 21 includes the front panels 21a and 21b and a rectangular area that connects them, will be mainly described. The same applies to the upper panels 24a and 24b and the lower panels 25a and 25b. Note that the surface of the hanging device 1 from which the hanging object 2, such as a product, is hung is called the front. As described above, the front side surfaces of the box-shaped part 10 are the front panels 21a and 21b, and the rear side surfaces facing the front panels 21a and 21b are the rear panels 22a and 22b. In addition, as shown in FIG. 1, the up, down, left, and right for a person looking directly at the hanging device 1 from the front side are referred to as the up, down, left, and right in the following description.

The box-shaped portion 10 has a hanging portion 11 and a blind portion 13. A window portion 12 is formed in the front plate 21 of the box-shaped portion 10. As shown in FIG. 1 etc., the box-shaped portion 10 may be provided with multiple sets of hanging portions 11, window portions 12, and blind portions 13. In this embodiment, a case where each of the box-shaped portions 10a and 10b has three sets of hanging portions 11, window portions 12, and blind portions 13 will be mainly described.

The hanging part 11 has a shape extending in one direction with its base end connected to the back plate 22. In this embodiment, the case where the hanging part 11 is flat will be described. The flat hanging part 11 according to this embodiment includes a plate-shaped member 11a in which the rear plate 22 has been cut out except for the base end, and a reinforcing member 11b of the same shape as the plate-shaped member 11a, which is attached to the plate-shaped member 11a. The reinforcing member 11b may be attached to either side of the plate-shaped member 11a. The reinforcing member 11b may also be cut out from the rear plate 22. It is preferable that the reinforcing member 11b be the same size as the plate-shaped member 11a. From the viewpoint of recyclability, it is preferable that the plate-shaped member 11a and the reinforcing member 11b are also made of paper. When the plate-shaped member 11a and the reinforcing member 11b are cut out from the rear plate 22, as shown in FIG. 2, the rear plate 22 has openings 31 and 32 corresponding to them. The hanging part 11 may be connected to the back plate 22 at the lower side 11c on the base end side in a manner that allows it to bend freely. The lower side 11c may be a side that extends in the left-right direction as shown in FIG. 2 and other figures. In this embodiment, the hanging part 11 is mainly described as a rectangular flat plate with rounded corners on the tip side, but as described below, the shape of the hanging part 11 is not important as long as it can hang the object to be hung 2.

The hanging object 2 hung from the hanging part 11 may be, for example, a product, an object on display, or any other object that is to be hung. Products may be, for example, replacement parts for electrical appliances, food, stationery, daily necessities, etc. A hanging part 11 with high strength, such as a hanging part 11 including a plate-shaped member 11a and a reinforcing member 11b, may be capable of hanging objects of a certain degree of weight, such as dry batteries.

The window portion 12 is an opening formed in the front plate 21. In this window portion 12, the hanging portion 11 is supported so as to incline upward from the base end to the tip. In this embodiment, since the hanging portion 11 is flat, the window portion 12 is rectangular, and the case where the hanging portion 11 is supported at the lower side of the rectangular window portion 12 will be described. Therefore, in the vertical direction, the lower side of the window portion 12 is located above the lower side 11c of the base end side of the hanging portion 11. The lower side of the window portion 12 may be a side extending in the left-right direction as shown in FIG. 1 etc. It is preferable that the window portion 12 has a size that allows the tip side of the hanging portion 11 bent with respect to the back plate 22 to pass through. In addition, in order to support the hanging portion 11 at the lower side of the window portion 12, the longitudinal length of the hanging portion 11 exceeds at least the distance between the front plate 21 and the back plate 22 of the box-shaped portion 10. The length of the hanging part 11 in the longitudinal direction is not particularly limited, but may be, for example, about 1.5 to 3 times the distance between the front plate 21 and the back plate 22. The angle (angle α in FIG. 4) between the hanging part 11 supported by the window part 12 and the back plate 22 is not particularly limited, but may be, for example, in the range of 10 degrees to 80 degrees. In order to prevent the hanging object 2 from falling from the tip side of the hanging part 11, it is preferable that the angle α is small. On the other hand, in order to increase the length of the part of the hanging part 11 protruding from the front plate 21 in the normal direction of the front plate 21, it is preferable that the angle α is large. Therefore, the angle α may be, for example, in the range of 50 degrees to 70 degrees. In addition, it is preferable that the width of the window part 12 in the left-right direction is larger than the width of the hanging part 11 in the left-right direction. In this embodiment, we will mainly explain the case where the left-right width of the window portion 12 and the left-right width of the hanging portion 11 are approximately the same.

The blind part 13 is connected to the upper edge of the window part 12 and blocks at least the upper side of the window part 12. In this embodiment, the case where the blind part 13 is a rectangular member with the entire part except the upper end cut off from the front plate 21 will be mainly described. From the viewpoint of recyclability, it is preferable that the blind part 13 is also made of paper. The blind part 13 may be connected to the front plate 21 at the upper edge 13a on the base end side so that it can be freely folded. The blind part 13 may be the same size as the opening of the window part 12, or may be smaller in size than the opening of the window part 12. In the latter case, even when the window part 12 is blocked by the blind part 13, there may be a gap on the lower side of the window part 12 through which the hanging part 11 can pass. In this case, when the hanging part 11 is supported by the window part 12, the blind part 13 and the front plate 21 can be made flush with each other. Additionally, in this embodiment, the case where the concealing portion 13 is rectangular is mainly described, but the concealing portion 13 may have other shapes.

Next, a manufacturing method for the suspender 1 according to the present embodiment will be briefly described.
First, a paperboard is cut into a shape with the overlapping portions 26, 27, the insertion portion 28, and the flap 29 shown in FIG. 5, in which the hanging device 1 is unfolded. The paperboard may be, for example, a slip sheet, a thick paper, or a corrugated cardboard. The slip sheet may be, for example, a two-ply or three-ply paper. For example, the unfolded shape of the hanging device 1 may be generated by cutting the paperboard at the solid line position in FIG. 5. In the unfolded view shown in FIG. 5, a string hole 33 is provided in the upper flap 29, and a string hole 34 is also provided on the upper side of the side panels 23a, 23b that are continuous with the front panel 21. In addition, a recess 35 is provided on the short side of the top panel 24. Therefore, after the hanging device 1 is completed, the hanging device 1 can be hung from a wall, another fixture, or the like by passing a string through the string holes 33, 34.

After that, creases are formed at positions corresponding to each side of the rectangular parallelepiped shape of the box-shaped portion 10, as well as on the base end sides of the plate-shaped member 11a and the concealing portion 13. For example, creases are formed at the positions of the dashed lines in Figure 5. All of these creases may be made on the same side of the paperboard. The positions of these creases are the positions where the paperboard will be folded.

In addition, a lead crease is formed at the position where the glue margins 26, 27 and the side panels 23a, 23b are folded. For example, a lead crease is formed at the position of the two-dot chain line in Figure 5. The position of this lead crease is the position where the glue margins 26, 27 are folded.

The order of the steps of cutting the paperboard, forming creases on the paperboard, and forming lead creases on the paperboard does not matter. For example, the steps may be performed in the order described above, two or more steps may be performed simultaneously, or the steps may be performed in an order different from that described above.

Next, the hanging section 11 is formed by attaching the cut reinforcing member 11b to one side of the plate-shaped member 11a. For example, the position of the boundary line between the plate-shaped member 11a and the reinforcing member 11b in FIG. 5 may be half-cut. In this case, it is easier to align the reinforcing member 11b when attaching it to the plate-shaped member 11a. Also, the glue tab 26 is attached to the back side of the front plate 21, and then the glue tab 27 is attached on top of the glue tab 26 to form two square tube shapes. Then, with the flap 29 facing inward, the insert portion 28 continuing to the upper plate 24 and the insert portion 28 continuing to the lower plate 25 are inserted into the upper opening and the lower opening of each square tube shape, respectively, to close the upper and lower openings to form the box-shaped sections 10a and 10b. The glue tabs 26, 27, etc. may be attached using, for example, an adhesive or double-sided tape. In addition, to reinforce the string hole 34, a reinforcing plate having a hole of the same size as the string hole 34 may be attached to the back side of the string hole 34 of the side panels 23a and 23b so that the hole of the reinforcing plate is aligned with the position of the string hole 34.

Then, the concealing portion 13 is folded toward the front side, i.e., in the direction of arrow A2 in the cross-sectional view of FIG. 4, and the hanging portion 11 is folded toward the front side, i.e., in the direction of arrow A1 in FIG. 4, so that the tip side of the hanging portion 11 protrudes from the window portion 12. The concealing portion 13 is then returned to be flush with the front plate 21 to close the window portion 12, completing the hanging device 1.

Next, a method of using the hanging device 1 will be briefly described. As shown in FIG. 6, the string 3 is passed through the string holes 33, 34 on one side panel 23a of the completed hanging device 1 and the string holes 33, 34 on the other side panel 23b, and the string 3 is hung on, for example, a hook 4 on a wall or other fixture, so that the hanging device 1 can be placed in a desired position. Then, as shown in FIG. 6, the hanging object 2 can be hung on the hanging part 11 by passing the hanging hole 2a of the hanging object 2 through the tip side of the hanging part 11. Note that FIG. 6 shows a situation in which one hanging object 2 is hung on each hanging part 11, but it goes without saying that two or more hanging objects 2 may be hung on the hanging part 11. When two or more objects 2 to be hung are to be hung, it is preferable that the hanging part 11 has a length and strength appropriate for the number of objects to be hung.

The upper and lower plates 24a, 24b and 25a, 25b of the box-shaped parts 10a, 10b of the hanging device 1 can be opened and closed. Therefore, by opening the upper and lower plates 24a, 24b and 25a, 25b, the box-shaped parts 10a, 10b can be folded, so that they do not take up space when stored or transported. When folding the box-shaped parts 10a, 10b, it is preferable that the hanging part 11 is returned to the back plate 22 side so that it does not protrude from the window part 12. It is also preferable that the box-shaped parts 10a, 10b are folded so that the glue tab 26 and the side plate 23a continuing from the glue tab 26 form a continuous plane, and the glue tab 27 and the side plate 23b continuing from the glue tab 27 form a continuous plane. From the viewpoint of strength, it is preferable that the upper surface plates 24a, 24b and the lower surface plates 25a, 25b of the two box-shaped parts 10a, 10b are continuous in the left-right direction as shown in FIG. 5, but this is not necessary. The upper surface plates 24a, 24b of the two box-shaped parts 10a, 10b may be separate and not continuous, and the lower surface plates 25a, 25b of the box-shaped parts 10a, 10b may be separate and not continuous.

As described above, the hanging device 1 according to this embodiment is made of paper, so that it can be easily recycled when it is no longer needed. In addition, at least the upper side of the window portion 12 that supports the hanging portion 11 is blocked by the blind portion 13, so that the aesthetics of the front plate 21 can be improved. In addition, the presence of the blind portion 13 can prevent the hanging portion 11 from moving toward the back plate 22 when the object to be hung 2 is not hanging thereon. In addition, advertisements related to the object to be hung 2 can be printed on the front plate 21. In addition, since the plate-shaped member 11a is cut out from the back plate 22, the blind portion 13 is cut out from the front plate 21, and the reinforcing member 11b is also cut out from the back plate 22, each component can be manufactured from cardboard, and materials can be used effectively. In addition, since the hanging device 1 has two box-shaped portions 10a and 10b, more hanging portions 11 can be provided and the strength can be improved. Furthermore, since the front panel 21 is a single plane, the front panel 21 can be simplified.

Next, modified examples of the suspending device 1 according to the present embodiment will be described.
In this embodiment, the case where the hanging device 1 is manufactured by cutting it out from a single piece of paperboard has been described, but this is not necessarily the case. It goes without saying that the hanging device 1 may be manufactured by combining parts cut out from multiple pieces of paperboard.

In addition, in this embodiment, the hanging device 1 is mainly described as having two box-shaped parts 10a, 10b, but this is not necessarily the case. The hanging device 1 may have one box-shaped part 10, or may have three or more box-shaped parts 10. When the hanging device 1 has one box-shaped part 10, that one box-shaped part 10 may be the hanging device 1. In addition, although the case where one box-shaped part 10 has three sets of hanging parts 11, window parts 12, and blind parts 13 has been described, the number of sets is not important. For example, the box-shaped part 10 may have one or two sets of hanging parts 11, window parts 12, and blind parts 13, or may have four or more sets.

In addition, in this embodiment, the plate-shaped member 11a and the reinforcing member 11b are cut out from the back plate 22, and the concealing portion 13 is cut out from the front plate 21. However, this is not necessarily the case. For example, the plate-shaped member 11a and the reinforcing member 11b may be made of a paperboard different from that of the back plate 22, and the concealing portion 13 may be made of a paperboard different from that of the front plate 21. In this case, the plate-shaped member 11a and the concealing portion 13 may be connected to the back plate 22 and the front plate 21 by being attached thereto. When the base end side of the hanging portion 11 is connected to the back plate 22 by being attached thereto, the hanging portion 11 may or may not be connected to the back plate 22 at the base end in a manner that allows it to bend freely. In the latter case, the window portion 12 may be about the same size as the cross section of the hanging portion 11 in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction. In this case, the box-shaped section 10 does not need to have a concealing section 13. Also, if the upper end side of the concealing section 13 is connected to the front plate 21 by being attached thereto, the upper end side of the concealing section 13 may or may not be connected to the front plate 21 in a manner that allows it to bend freely.

In addition, in this embodiment, the hanging part 11 is mainly configured by attaching a reinforcing member 11b to one side of a plate-shaped member 11a, but this is not necessarily the case. For example, the hanging part 11 may be configured by attaching two reinforcing members 11b to both sides of the plate-shaped member 11a, or the hanging part 11 may be a plate-shaped member 11a to which no reinforcing members are attached.

In addition, in this embodiment, the hanging part 11 having a shape extending in one direction has been mainly described as being strip-shaped, but this is not essential. The hanging part 11 may be, for example, rod-shaped, or may be of any other shape capable of suspending the object to be hung 2. The rod-shaped hanging part 11 may be constructed, for example, by attaching multiple reinforcing members of the same shape and size to a narrow rectangular plate-shaped member.

In addition, in this embodiment, the case where the box-shaped portion 10 has a concealing portion 13 has been mainly described, but this is not necessarily the case. The window portion 12 of the box-shaped portion 10 does not necessarily have to have a concealing portion 13.

In addition, in this embodiment, a case where one window portion 12 is provided for one hanging portion 11 has been described, but this is not necessarily the case. Two or more hanging portions 11 may be supported by one window portion 12. In this case, the window portion 12 may be, for example, rectangular and extending in the left-right direction in order to support multiple hanging portions 11.

If none of the surfaces of the box-shaped portion 10 are openable and closable, the box-shaped portion 10 does not have to be foldable.

In addition, in this embodiment, the case where the string holes 33, 34 are provided on the upper side of the hanging device 1 has been described, but this is not necessarily the case. If the hanging device 1 is positioned using a string other than that passed through the string holes 33, 34, the string holes 33, 34 and the recess 35 do not have to be provided.

Furthermore, the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and various modifications are possible, and it goes without saying that these are also included within the scope of the present invention.
