Description

The present invention relates to work equipment including workbenches and laboratory tables used for experiments, tests, research, etc.

Traditionally, in research laboratories and laboratories in offices, research facilities, hospitals, schools, etc., a wide variety of experimental equipment and measuring instruments are used depending on the research and experiment content. In research and experiment sites, a workbench is required to place the objects and equipment for research, experiments, and various tasks. In addition, a workbench is required for recording the various tasks associated with research and experiments, research results, experimental results, etc. on a personal computer (hereinafter referred to as PC), and for performing clerical work, etc.

As an example of such a workbench, as described in Patent Document 1 below, a desk has been proposed in which a shelf is placed between pillars extending above the tabletop, and outlets are installed on the pillars to be used as power sources for experimental equipment, computers, etc. Furthermore, as described in Patent Document 2 below, among other workbenches, a desk has been proposed in which a shelf is provided between pillars that stand up above the tabletop, making it possible to place a large amount of experimental equipment on the tabletop or on the shelf. In these cases, electrical wiring is brought out from the floor surface, etc. onto the tabletop.

特開平11-318577号公報Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 11-318577 特開2001-340768号公報JP 2001-340768 A

However, in the workbenches described in Patent Documents 1 and 2 above, the equipment placed on the upper shelf or floor is difficult for users to operate, resulting in poor workability. Furthermore, because a shelf for placing experimental equipment is installed on the top board, there are problems such as the lid being difficult to open upwards when experimental equipment is placed in the space above the top board, making it difficult to insert and remove test samples, testing tools, etc. This makes it difficult to access experimental equipment from above, resulting in poor usability.

The present invention was made in consideration of these problems, and aims to provide a work fixture that is easy to set up various equipment such as laboratory equipment on the top surface and is also easy to use.

The work fixture according to the present invention comprises a support structure provided on a floor surface, a top plate supported by the support structure, and a plurality of pillars extending upward from the top plate, the plurality of pillars including a first pillar into which an infrastructure line is drawn from the ceiling side, and a second pillar in which a connection portion for the infrastructure line is provided at a position higher than the top plate.
According to the present invention, the infrastructure cable extending from the ceiling can be efficiently connected to the connection part of the second support through the first support, and since the connection part is installed above the top plate, even if liquid drips from the instruments or samples stored in the various devices installed on the top plate and falls onto the top plate, it is possible to prevent adverse effects on the connection part. Moreover, since no bridging members or shelves are installed in the space above the top plate, they do not get in the way when installing various devices on the top plate or when opening and closing them.

Moreover, it is preferable that the first support pillar is formed higher than the other support pillars.
When pulling the infrastructure lines from the ceiling side into the first support pillar, the first support pillar is formed higher than the other supports, allowing the installation location of work fixtures to be selected freely and minimizing exposure of the infrastructure lines to improve the external appearance.

It is also preferable that the infrastructure line drawn from the first support is connected to the connection portion of the second support via a support structure.
Since the infrastructure line can be extended to the second pillar via the support structure and connected to the connection part, the support structure prevents the infrastructure line from being exposed, improving the appearance, and prevents the infrastructure line from getting in the way when workers, etc. pass by.

The support columns are preferably configured as part of the support structure.
Since the support pillars are configured as part of the support structure and are connected to other members, the support structure has a simple configuration and is strong together with the support pillars.

The tabletop may also include an auxiliary tabletop disposed between the plurality of columns, and a main tabletop connected to the auxiliary tabletop.
The table top is formed by connecting the auxiliary table top and the main table top, so there is ample space to install various devices.

The work fixture of the present invention only requires a number of supports on the top plate, which provides ample space for installing various types of equipment such as experimental devices, and makes it easy to carry out various tasks after installation. Furthermore, the infrastructure line is drawn from the ceiling side to the first support, allowing for a high degree of freedom in installing the work fixture and making it easy to use. In addition, the connection part on the second support is installed at a higher position than the top plate, which prevents solutions from the experimental equipment from adhering to it.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS A workbench 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention will now be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
In Fig. 1, a workbench 1 used as a work fixture is installed in a facility where various experiments, research, etc. are performed, for example, in a research laboratory, school, office, etc. In a room of a facility where experiments, research, etc. are performed, a plurality of workbenches 1 may be arranged at a predetermined interval across an aisle where researchers, etc. pass by, or only one workbench 1 may be installed. Various equipment such as experimental equipment, research equipment, and office equipment such as a computer can be installed on the workbench 1, and it is a work fixture on which various experiments, tests, research, and related office work are performed.

The workbench 1 shown in FIG. 1 is composed of, for example, a top plate 2, a support structure 3 that is installed on the floor surface and supports the top plate 2, and an appropriate number of, for example, three, support columns 4 that stand upward from the top plate 2. An appropriate number of various devices such as experimental equipment can be placed on the top plate 2. The support columns 4 include, for example, a first support column 5 that is the tallest and is disposed in the center of one short side of the rectangular top plate 2, a second support column 6 that is disposed in the center of the opposing short side, and a third support column 7 that is disposed in the center of the top plate 2.

Fig. 2 shows an exploded perspective view of the workbench 1, in which a first support structure 9 having three support columns 4 is disposed in the center, and two work bases 10 are disposed on each side of the first support structure 9, for a total of four work bases 10. As shown in Figs. 2 and 3, the first support structure 9 has a first support column 5, a second support column 6, and a third support column 7 that are parallel to each other and stand vertically, and are connected to each other by a horizontal member 11 disposed horizontally near their lower ends. An auxiliary top plate 12 that constitutes a part of the top plate 2 is disposed above the horizontal member 11, and connects the first support column 5, the second support column 6, and the third support column 7.
The first support column 5, the second support column 6, and the third support column 7 are connected to each other by a horizontal member 11 and an auxiliary top plate 12 arranged in parallel to each other to form a structure. The first support column 5 is the tallest, and extends to a position close to the ceiling or to the ceiling. The second support column 6 and the third support column 7 are formed at a lower height than the first support column 5.

2 and 3, the first support column 5, the second support column 6, and the third support column 7 are each provided with a lower stay 14 on the underside of the cross member 11 for connecting the work platform 10 described later with screws or the like. The lower stay 14 is connected to the inside of the first support column 5 and the second support column 6, and is connected to both the left and right sides of the third support column 7. The first support column 5, the second support column 6, and the third support column 7 are each provided with an upper stay 15 on the underside of the auxiliary top plate 12 for connecting the work platform 10. In this case as well, the upper stay 15 is connected to the inside of the first support column 5 and the second support column 6, and is provided to both the left and right sides of the third support column 7.
The lower stays 14 and the upper stays 15 are respectively installed on both sides in the width direction of the cross member 11 and the auxiliary top plate 12. Therefore, two work platforms 10 can be connected to each side of the first support structure 9.

2 and 3, the first support 5, the second support 6, and the third support 7 are each formed in a rectangular tube shape, and the inner side surfaces 5a, 6a of the first support 5 and the second support 6 are cut away between the cross member 11 and the auxiliary top plate 12 to form openings 5b, 6b. Similarly, the third support 7 has both left and right side surfaces 7a, 7b cut away between the cross member 11 and the auxiliary top plate 12 to form openings 7c, 7d.
The first support pillar 5 has an upper opening 5c formed at its upper end, and the second support pillar 6 and the third support pillar 7 have covers 17, 18 attached to their upper ends.

Then, for example, a power supply wiring w is pulled out from the ceiling of a facility where experiments, research, etc. are performed into the room as an infrastructure line and inserted into the square tubular first support 5 through the upper opening 5c of the first support 5. This wiring w is pulled out onto the cross member 11 through the opening 5b on the side surface 5a of the first support 5, and is extended from the opening 7c on one side surface 7a of the third support 7 to the upper part inside the third support 7. Furthermore, the wiring w is pulled out from the opening 7d on the other side surface 7b of the third support 7, extending onto the cross member 11, and is extended from the opening 6b on the side surface 6a of the second support 6 to the upper part inside the square tubular second support 6.
Although the openings 5b, 6b, 7c, and 7d of the first support 5, the second support 6, and the third support 7 are formed over almost the entire length between the cross member 11 and the auxiliary top plate 12, they may be at least a portion of the length required to pass the wiring w through.

Furthermore, a plurality of outlets 20 are installed as connection parts in the vertical direction on the side surface 5a of the first support 5 facing the second support 6. Similarly, a plurality of outlets 20 are installed as connection parts in the vertical direction on the side surface 6a of the second support 6 facing the first support 5. A plurality of outlets 20 are also installed as connection parts in the vertical direction on the opposing left and right side surfaces 7a, 7b of the third support 7.
These outlets 20 are connected in series or parallel to wiring w passing through the first support pillar 5, the second support pillar 6, and the third support pillar 7. The outlets 20 are adapted to receive power by inserting plugs 32 of wiring for electronic equipment 27 (described later) (see Figures 5 and 6), and all of the outlets 20 are installed above the auxiliary top plate 12 (top plate 2).

In addition, instead of the outlet 20, the connection part may be a receptacle for various information terminals such as a USB connector, a LAN connector, etc. Therefore, instead of the power supply wiring w, the infrastructure line may be a wiring for transmitting information such as a USB cable or a LAN cable. Alternatively, these multiple types of connection parts may be installed in parallel, and multiple types of infrastructure lines may be laid inside the first support 5, the second support 6, and the third support 7.

Next, the work base 10 will be described with reference to FIG.
Four work bases 10 of the same shape are installed, and one work base 10 will be described as a representative example. The work base 10 comprises a substantially U-shaped second support structure 22 and a main top plate 23 fixed to the upper part of the second support structure 22. The second support structure 22 is formed of a pair of leg plates 24 provided on opposing side surfaces and a top plate 25 connecting the leg plates 24 on both sides. Moreover, the main top plate 23 is set to the same height as the auxiliary top plate 12 provided on the first support structure 9. The main top plate 23 is formed, for example, in a rectangular plate shape, and the length of the long side is set to 1/2 the length of the auxiliary top plate 12 of the first support structure 9.
Alternatively, two work bases 10 may be integrally formed in series with the length of their long sides set to the same length as the first support structure 9, and these may be connected to both the front and rear sides of the first support structure 9, respectively.

For this reason, the workbench 1 is obtained by installing two work bases 10 on each of the front and rear sides of the first support structure 9 in close contact with each other, and connecting the lower stays 14 and upper stays 15 provided on both the front and rear sides of the first support structure 9 to the skirting board 25 of the second support structure 22 of the work bases 10 through bolts or the like to obtain an integrated workbench 1 (see FIG. 1). In this case, various devices can be installed in the central part of the top plate 2 where the auxiliary top plate 12 is installed, and in the main top plate 23 part in the fore-aft direction of the central part, allowing the top plate 2 to be used widely and sufficiently.
Moreover, the auxiliary top plate 12 of the first support structure 9 and the main top plates 23 of each of the two work bases 10 connected to both sides of the first support structure 9 in the front-to-rear direction (the direction perpendicular to the long side of the auxiliary top plate 12) are set to be flush with each other. The top plate 2 of the work table 1 is formed by the auxiliary top plate 12 and the main top plate 23. The support structure 3 is made up of the first support structure 9 and the second support structure 22 connected to each other. Alternatively, the support structure 3 may be made up of only the first support structure 9.

The workbench 1 according to this embodiment has the above-mentioned configuration, and its method of use will now be described with reference to FIGS.
In Fig. 4, a plurality of centrifuges, for example, eight centrifuges are installed as electronic equipment 27 on the top plate 2 of the workbench 1 in the example shown in Fig. 4. Each electronic equipment 27 has a lid 29 provided on the top surface of the main body 28 that can be opened upward. Moreover, since no bridging members or shelves are installed on the tops of the first support column 5, the second support column 6, and the third support column 7 when the lid 29 is opened, the upper part is open and free of obstacles, and the lid 29 can be easily opened and closed and the test samples can be easily inserted and removed.

5 and 6, plugs 32 can be inserted via wiring cords 31 connected to electronic device 27 into outlets 20 on first support post 5, outlets 20 on second support post 6, and outlets 20 provided on both opposing side surfaces 7a, 7b of third support post 7, respectively, to turn on the electronic device 27. Then, electronic device 27 can be driven by operating a switch (not shown).
In addition, on the workbench 1, a personal computer or the like can be placed on the top plate 2 in place of some of the electronic devices 27, or together with the electronic devices 27, and its plug can be connected to the outlet 20, thereby enabling tasks such as inputting and recording experimental results, etc. to be performed.

As described above, according to the workbench 1 of this embodiment, infrastructure lines such as wiring w from the ceiling are inserted into the first support pillar 5, the second support pillar 6, and the third support pillar 7 of the first support structure 9 and connected to the connection parts of each outlet 20, so that the wiring w from the ceiling can be efficiently arranged on the workbench 1. Moreover, the wiring w does not get in the way, and the top plate 2 can be used widely and effectively.
In addition, since the infrastructure lines such as the wiring w are pulled into the first support 5 from the ceiling side, the installation position of the workbench 1 can be set or moved to any position regardless of the extraction position of the infrastructure lines, as compared with a case where the workbench is pulled out from the floor surface.
In addition, since most of the infrastructure lines such as wiring w are covered within the first support structure 9 and are not exposed to the outside, the appearance is good and there is no risk of pedestrians getting their feet caught in them, so they do not get in the way and are very safe.

Furthermore, the first support column 5, second support column 6, and third support column 7 of the first support structure 9 are not connected above by a bridging member, shelf board, or the like, and each column stands independently. Therefore, a large space can be secured above the top plate 2, and there are no restrictions in the height or horizontal direction when installing various devices such as the electronic device 27 and inspection devices, and devices having a lid that opens and closes above can be installed and used effectively.
Since each outlet 20 is installed above the top plate 2 on the first support 5, the second support 6 and the third support 7, even if liquid drips onto the top plate 2 accidentally when inserting or removing a test sample or test equipment in the electronic device 27, it will not adhere to the outlet 20 and will not have an adverse effect.
In addition, the first support structure 9 of the workbench 1 can be connected to the work base 10 on both the front and rear sides, and the first support pillar 5, the second support pillar 6 and the third support pillar 7 are connected to the cross member 11 and the auxiliary top plate 12 to construct a structure, which requires a small number of parts and is strong.

The present invention is not limited to the workbench 1 according to the above-described embodiment, and appropriate modifications and substitutions are possible without departing from the spirit of the present invention, and all of these are included in the present invention. Below, modifications of the present invention are described, and the same reference numerals are used to describe parts and members that are the same or similar to those in the above-described embodiment.

In the above-described embodiment, the work table 1 has a configuration in which two work bases 10 are connected to each side of the first support structure 9 in the front-rear direction as the support structure 3, but instead of this configuration, two work bases 10 may be connected to either side in the front-rear direction of the first support structure 9. In these cases, the first support column 5, the second support column 6, and the third support column 7 are installed at the front or rear end of the top board 2, and the first support structure 9 and the second support structure 22 on one side become the support structure 3.
2, the first support structure 9 and the work base 10 may be separated from each other and used as the work table 1. Alternatively, the first support structure 9 may be used alone to form the work table 1. In this case, the first support structure 9 is the support structure 3 and the auxiliary top plate 12 is the top plate 2, but the width of the auxiliary top plate 12 may be increased.

In addition, in the above-described embodiment, the first support 5, the second support 6, and the third support 7 are each formed into a rectangular tube shape and the wiring w is inserted therethrough, but the first support 5, the second support 6, and the third support 7 may be any suitable tube shape, such as a cylindrical tube or a polygonal tube, as long as the wiring w can be inserted therethrough.
In the above embodiment, the infrastructure lines such as the wiring w are disposed on the upper surface of the cross member 11, but instead of this configuration, the infrastructure lines may be disposed along the lower surface of the auxiliary top plate 12. In this case, the cross member 11 may be omitted.

In the above embodiment, a connection part such as the outlet 20 is also attached to the first support 5, but the first support 5 does not necessarily have to be provided with a connection part such as the outlet 20.
In addition, in the above embodiment, the third support column 7 is disposed in the upper center of the top plate 2, but the third support column 7 does not have to be provided. Alternatively, the portion of the third support column 7 above the top plate 2 may be detachably attached. In these cases, almost the entire top plate 2 can be used as a platform for various devices such as the electronic device 27 and testing devices, and even larger devices can be installed.
