Description

The present invention relates to a hanging device for holding and suspending items such as baggage, which is attached to, for example, the handle of a stroller.

When pushing a stroller, carrying baggage such as a bag or shopping bag can be a nuisance as it can interfere with the operation of the stroller. To address this issue, a hanging device has been proposed that can be attached to the horizontal handle of a stroller to hang baggage (see Patent Document 1). This hanging device has a main body with a hanging hook and a belt attached to the main body. One side of the belt has a hook-and-loop fastener loop surface, and the other side has a hook-and-loop fastener hook surface. When attaching the hanging device to the stroller handle, the belt is wrapped around the handle and the loop surface and hook surface are aligned to secure the belt to the handle. This leaves the hanging hook hanging downward from the handle, allowing a bag or shopping bag to be hung on the hook.

However, the problem with such hanging devices is that they can only hold baggage that has a handle or loop that can be hooked onto the hanging hook.

The present invention was made in consideration of the above points, and its purpose is to provide a hanging device that can hold and suspend a wide range of items, not just those with handles or loops.

In the hanging device according to the present invention, when the tips of the first clip piece and the second clip piece are brought close to each other by the biasing force of the biasing means, the first hook-shaped portion and the second hook-shaped portion are overlapped to form one hanging hook. In addition, the first gripping portion and the second gripping portion can be pinched with fingers to move the tips of the first clip piece and the second clip piece apart against the biasing force of the biasing means. In this case, an article can be placed between the first hook-shaped portion and the second hook-shaped portion, and the article can be clamped by the biasing force of the biasing means. In this way, the hanging device according to the present invention has both the function of a hook for hanging an article and the function of a clip for clamping an article, so that it can hold a wide range of articles, not just those with handles or loops, and hang them from the handle of a stroller, etc.

The following describes an embodiment of the present invention with reference to the drawings. Fig. 1 is a perspective view showing the configuration of a hanging device according to one embodiment of the present invention, and Fig. 2 is a side view showing the hanging device as viewed from the direction indicated by the white arrow in Fig. 1. The hanging device according to this embodiment is broadly composed of a main body 100 and a belt 200 (corresponding to the attachment device in this invention).

For ease of explanation, the X direction in FIG. 1 is defined as the forward direction, the Y direction as the right direction, and the Z direction as the upward direction, and front/rear, left/right, and up/down are defined as such.

The main body 100 comprises a first clip piece 100A and a second clip piece 100B of substantially the same shape arranged opposite each other in the front-rear direction. Both the first clip piece 100A and the second clip piece 100B are made of metal. The metal may be any metal that is rust-resistant and strong, and suitable metals include zinc alloys, copper, and stainless steel.

The first clip piece 100A has a first clamping portion 10A (corresponding to the first hook-shaped portion in the present invention) located at its tip side (lower end side), a first gripping portion 30A located at its base end side (upper end side), and a first intermediate portion 20A located between the first clamping portion 10A and the first gripping portion 30A. Similarly, the second clip piece 100B has a second clamping portion 10B (corresponding to the second hook-shaped portion in the present invention) located at its tip side (lower end side), a second gripping portion 30B located at its base end side (upper end side), and a second intermediate portion 20B located between the second clamping portion 10B and the second gripping portion 30B. The first intermediate portion 20A and the second intermediate portion 20B are each provided with a pair of protruding bearing portions 21A, 21B. The through holes of the bearing portions 21A of the first clip piece 100A are aligned with the through holes of the bearing portions 21B of the second clip piece 100B, and a connecting rod 41 (corresponding to the support shaft in this invention) is inserted into these through holes, so that the first clip piece 100A and the second clip piece 100B are connected to each other so as to be freely rotatable. A coil spring 42 (corresponding to the biasing means in this invention) is attached around the connecting rod 41, and the first clip piece 100A and the second clip piece 100B are biased by the elastic force of the coil spring 42 in a direction in which the tip of the first clamping portion 10A and the tip of the second clamping portion 10B approach each other (corresponding to the first direction in this invention).

The first clamping portion 10A and the second clamping portion 10B each have a substantially identical hook-shaped configuration when viewed from the front. Specifically, the first clamping portion 10A includes a first inclined bar 11A extending diagonally downward to the right from the first intermediate portion 20A, a first vertical bar 12A extending directly downward from the lower end of the first inclined bar 11A, a first horizontal bar 13A extending leftward from the lower end of the first vertical bar 12A, and a first retaining bar 14A extending slightly diagonally upward to the left from the tip of the first horizontal bar 13A. Similarly, the second clamping section 10B includes a second inclined bar 11B that extends diagonally downward to the right from the second intermediate section 20B, a second vertical bar 12B that extends directly downward from the bottom end of the second inclined bar 11B, a second horizontal bar 13B that extends leftward from the bottom end of the second vertical bar 12B, and a second retaining bar 14B that extends slightly diagonally upward to the left from the tip of the second horizontal bar 13B.

The inner surfaces of the tips of the first clamping part 10A and the second clamping part 10B, i.e., the opposing surfaces of the first horizontal bar 13A and the second horizontal bar 13B, are provided with protruding claws 15A and 15B for engaging an object. Note that the height positions of the claws 15A on the first clamping part 10A and the claws 15B on the second clamping part 10B are slightly different in order to prevent the claws 15A and 15B from colliding with each other when the first clamping part 10A and the second clamping part 10B are brought close to each other, and to enable the object made of cloth or the like to be held firmly when it is clamped between the first clamping part 10A and the second clamping part 10B.

On the other hand, the outer surfaces of the first gripping portion 30A and the second gripping portion 30B are formed with anti-slip irregularities 31 to prevent slipping when pinched with fingers. In addition, a long belt hole 32 is formed in the upper part of the second gripping portion 30B.

A belt 200 with a width of 2 cm to 3 cm and a length of approximately 15 cm to 30 cm is inserted through the belt hole 32. The belt 200 is folded in half with both ends protruding from the belt hole 32 by approximately the same length, and sewn together near the base end of the second clip piece 100B, so that it does not slip out of the belt hole 32. The belt 200 also has a hook portion of a hook-and-loop fastener (corresponding to the joining portion in this invention) on one side, and a loop portion (corresponding to the joined portion in this invention) on the other side.

When attaching the hanging device according to this embodiment to the handle 51 of the stroller, as shown in FIG. 3, with the upper end of the second clip piece 100B resting against the underside of the handle 51, one end of the belt 200 is wrapped around the outer circumference of the handle 51, and the other end of the belt 200 is then wrapped around it. At this time, the hook and loop portions of the hook-and-loop fasteners formed on one and the other ends of the belt 200 engage with each other, so that both ends of the belt 200 are fixed to each other and the main body 100 is suspended from the handle 51.

When the first clamping portion 10A and the second clamping portion 10B are in contact with each other due to the biasing force of the coil spring 42, the overlapping first clamping portion 10A and second clamping portion 10B form a hook (corresponding to the hanging hook in the present invention). Therefore, by hanging a handbag or shopping bag 60 on this hook, the handbag 60 can be hung from the handle 51 of the stroller 50 (see Figure 4).

In addition, the hanging device according to this embodiment can also make the first clamping portion 10A and the second clamping portion 10B function as independent hooks. In that case, the first gripping portion 30A and the second gripping portion 30B are pinched with the fingers, and the first gripping portion 30A and the second gripping portion 30B are brought closer to each other against the biasing force of the coil spring 42. This causes the first gripping portion 10A and the second gripping portion 10B to be separated from each other, allowing an item to be hung on each of them. Therefore, for example, items that are difficult to hang on a single hook, such as a pair of children's shoes 70 on the left and right, can be hung together by the hanging device according to this embodiment (see FIG. 5). When hanging children's shoes 70, as shown in FIG. 5, the tips of the first clamping part 10A and the second clamping part 10B, which are formed into a hook shape, are inserted into the foot insertion parts 71 of the left and right shoes 70, respectively, and the tips of the first clamping part 10A and the second clamping part 10B may be inserted into the loops 72 provided on the heels of the left and right shoes 70, respectively.

Furthermore, the hanging tool according to this embodiment can also hold a plastic bottle 80 or the like between the first clamping portion 10A and the second clamping portion 10B (see FIG. 6). Conventionally, in order to carry a plastic bottle 80 while pushing a stroller 50, it was necessary to store the plastic bottle 80 in a bag or a cylindrical drink holder with a bottom attached to the stroller 50. However, when a cold plastic bottle 80 is placed in a bag, there is a risk that the inside of the bag will be wetted with water droplets on the plastic bottle 80. In addition, such drink holders are bulky, and therefore have the problem of being in the way when not in use. In contrast, if the hanging tool according to this embodiment is used to hang the plastic bottle 80 from the handle 51 of the stroller 50, the inside of the bag can be prevented from getting wet, and since the hanging tool according to this embodiment is not bulky, it does not get in the way when not in use.

When the suspending device of this embodiment is used to clamp a plastic bottle 80, first, the first gripping portion 30A and the second gripping portion 30B are pinched with the fingers to separate the tips of the first gripping portion 10A and the second gripping portion 10B from each other, and the neck portion 81 of the plastic bottle 80 is positioned between the first horizontal bar 13A and the second horizontal bar 13B. When the fingers are released from the first gripping portion 30A and the second gripping portion 30B in this state, the biasing force of the coil spring 42 brings the tips of the first gripping portion 10A and the second gripping portion 10B closer to each other, and the neck portion 81 of the plastic bottle 80 is clamped by the first horizontal bar 13A and the second horizontal bar 13B. At this time, the claws 15A, 15B provided on the first horizontal bar 13A and the second horizontal bar 13B, respectively, catch on the protrusions 83 provided between the neck 81 and the cap 82 of the plastic bottle 80, so the hanging device according to this embodiment can securely hold the plastic bottle 80. In addition, since the center of gravity of the plastic bottle 80 containing liquid is at the bottom, the plastic bottle 80 hanging from the handle 51 can maintain a stable vertical position even if the stroller 50 moves and causes shaking or vibration. Therefore, the plastic bottle 80 is unlikely to come off the hanging device even if the stroller 50 is moved.

Note that, although the example described here is of a PET bottle 80 being held by the hanging device of this embodiment, the hanging device of this embodiment can also hold a variety of other items, such as towels, snack bags, hats, etc.

Although the present invention has been described above by giving specific examples of embodiments, the present invention is not limited to the above examples, and appropriate modifications are permitted within the scope of the present invention. For example, the shapes of the first clamping portion 10A and the second clamping portion 10B in the hanging device according to the present invention are not limited to the shapes shown in Figures 1 to 6, as long as they are hook-shaped, and may be, for example, a partially curved, approximately J-shaped shape, or a fully curved, approximately C-shaped shape. In addition, in the above embodiment, the first clip piece 100A and the second clip piece 100B are made of metal, but this is not limited thereto, and they may be made of any material, such as resin. Furthermore, as a biasing means for biasing the first clamping portion 10A and the second clamping portion 10B in a direction in which their tips approach each other, various elastic bodies such as a leaf spring, an arc-shaped spring, etc. can be used in addition to the above-mentioned coil spring 42.

In the above embodiment, the hanging device according to the present invention is attached to the handle 51 of the stroller 50, but the hanging device according to the present invention can also be attached to the handle of a wheelchair, a carrier cart, a walking aid, a walker, etc. The hanging device according to this embodiment can also be attached to a horizontal bar-shaped member other than a handle, such as a towel rack, a clothesline, a handrail, or a tension rod.

In the above embodiment, the ends of the belt 200 are connected by providing hook and loop parts of a hook-and-loop fastener on one side and the other side of the belt 200, respectively, but the ends of the belt 200 may be connected by other configurations. For example, a female part (corresponding to the connected part in the present invention) and a male part (corresponding to the connecting part in the present invention) of a detachable buckle may be attached to both ends of the belt 200. Also, a D-ring (corresponding to the connected part in the present invention) may be attached to one of the ends of the belt 200, a hook and loop part of a hook-and-loop fastener may be formed on the other end (corresponding to the connecting part in the present invention), and the other end may be passed through the D-ring and folded back to attach the hook and loop parts. Furthermore, the attachment for attaching the main body 100 to an attachment object such as the handle 51 of the stroller 50 is not limited to the belt 200 as described above, and may be, for example, a string, a ring, a carabiner, or a hook.

In addition, in the above embodiment, the first clamping part 10A and the second clamping part 10B are provided at their tips with claws 15A and 15B for holding an article, but instead, grooves or rubber anti-slip devices may be provided.
