壁裏の構造物に固定され、壁表に設置される配線器具が取り付けられる配線器具取付部材であって、
4つの側壁により長方形枠状を成す周壁と、前記配線器具が取り付けられる配線器具取付部と、を備え、
長方形の対向する短辺を構成する一対の前記側壁のそれぞれに、その外面を前記構造物に当接させた状態に固定する固定部が設けられ、
前記短辺を構成する一対の側壁のうちの一方に、先端側が前記構造物に当接する突出座部が外方に突出形成されており、
長方形の対向する長辺を構成する一対の前記側壁、及び前記短辺を構成する一対の側壁のうちの他方には、建物の壁面に向けられる端部に、自身の外面より外方に張り出して前記壁面に当接する壁裏当接部が設けられ、
前記短辺を構成する他方の側壁に設けられた前記壁裏当接部の基端側に、前記他方の側壁の外面より外方に張り出す部位を除去するための脆弱部が形成されていることを特徴とする配線器具取付部材。
