Description

The present invention relates to pants-type disposable diapers, and in particular to a gripping part that tears the outer casing of the disposable diaper.

Conventionally, in order to easily break the side seal of the outer body when removing the disposable diaper, a method is known in which the adhesive strength of the side seal in the area close to the leg openings below the waist is made smaller than the adhesive strength of other areas. (Patent Document 1)

In addition, a method is known in which a pair of handles are provided on both sides of the waist part of the side seal part of the outer cover to easily break the side seal part of the outer cover when removing the disposable diaper. (Patent Document 2)

However, the method described in Patent Document 1 makes it difficult for the wearer to quickly determine the location of the break in the side seal, and there is a risk that the wearer will not be able to firmly grasp both sides of the break when the side seal breaks.

In addition, with the method described in Patent Document 2, when the garment is worn, the handle of the side seal may become entangled in clothing such as trousers or a skirt, and the side seal may break when the garment is put on or taken off.

The objective of the present invention is to provide a disposable diaper that has gripping portions formed in the side seals of the outer casing of the disposable diaper, so that the side seals can be easily and quickly torn off.

The means for solving the above problems are as follows.
The first method is characterized in that an inner body is formed with an absorbent element between a liquid-permeable top sheet and a liquid-impermeable back sheet, an outer body that can stretch in the width direction is fixed to the opposite side of the body of the inner body, and a gripping portion is provided on a side seal portion which fixes both side widthwise portions of a front body and a back body of the outer body, and the gripping portion is formed with a notch portion for inserting a fingertip when the side seal portion breaks, and an embossed portion around the notch portion to be gripped with the fingertips.

The second means is characterized in that, in the configuration of the first means, the gripping portion is provided at the upper end of the waist portion in the side seal portion, the cutout portion is formed in an inverted triangular shape in side view, and the rigidity of the lower embossed portion located below the starting point of the apex of the cutout portion in the embossed portion is made smaller than the rigidity of the upper embossed portion located above the starting point of the apex of the cutout portion in the embossed portion in side view.

The third means is characterized in that, in the configuration of the second means, the outer body is formed from an inner sheet located on the body side and an outer sheet located on the opposite side to the body, and the starting point of the top of the cutout portion is positioned at the lower end of the folded portion where the inner sheet in the side seal portion and the outer sheet folded back from the opposite side to the body side overlap.

The fourth means is characterized in that an inner body is formed with an absorbent between a liquid-permeable top sheet and a liquid-impermeable back sheet, an outer body that is stretchable in the width direction is fixed to the opposite side of the body of the inner body, and a gripping portion is provided on the break line portion extending toward the upper front side from a side seal portion that fixes both side widthwise ends of the front and back body of the outer body, and the gripping portion is formed with a notch portion for inserting fingertips when the break line portion is broken, and an embossed portion around the notch portion to be gripped with the fingertips.

According to the first means, an inner body is formed with an absorbent element between a liquid-permeable top sheet and a liquid-impermeable back sheet, an outer body stretchable in the width direction is fixed to the opposite side of the inner body, a gripping portion is provided on the side seal portion which fixes both sides in the width direction of the front and back bodies of the outer body, and the gripping portion is formed of a notch portion into which fingertips are inserted when the side seal portion is torn, and an embossed portion to be held with fingertips around the notch portion, so that when removing the disposable diaper, the gripping portion can be quickly recognized and the embossed portion can be pinched with fingertips and pulled in the opposite direction to easily break the side seal portion. Also, the cut portion of the elastic member extending in the width direction of the outer body can be prevented from being pulled inward.

According to the second means, in addition to the effects of the first means, a gripping portion is provided at the upper end of the waist portion in the side seal portion, the cutout portion is formed in an inverted triangular shape when viewed from the side, and the rigidity of the lower embossed portion located below the starting point of the apex of the cutout in the embossed portion when viewed from the side is made smaller than the rigidity of the upper embossed portion located above the starting point of the apex of the cutout in the embossed portion.As a result, when removing the disposable diaper, the embossed portion can be more easily broken downwardly of the side seal portion by pinching it with the fingertips and pulling it in the opposite direction.

According to the third means, in addition to the effects of the second means, the outer body is formed of an inner sheet located on the body side and an outer sheet located on the opposite side to the body, and the starting point of the apex of the cutout portion is positioned at the lower end of the folded portion where the inner sheet in the side seal portion and the outer sheet folded back from the opposite side to the body side overlap.As a result, when removing the disposable diaper, the embossed portion can be pinched with the fingertips and pulled in the opposite direction to break it toward the bottom of the side seal portion even more easily.

According to the fourth means, an inner body is formed having an absorbent body between a liquid-permeable top sheet and a liquid-impermeable back sheet, an outer body which is stretchable in the width direction is fixed to the opposite side of the body, and a gripping portion is provided on the break line extending toward the upper front side from the side seal portion which fixes both side widthwise portions of the front and back body of the outer body, and the gripping portion is formed of a notch portion into which fingertips are inserted when the break line is broken, and an embossed portion which is grasped with the fingertips around the notch, so that when removing the disposable diaper, the gripping portion can be quickly recognized and the embossed portion can be pinched between fingertips and pulled in the opposite direction to easily break the break line.

As shown in Figures 1 and 2, a disposable diaper is formed from an inner body 10 and an outer body 20 fixed to the opposite side of the inner body 10.

<Interior body>
As shown in Figures 3 to 5, the inner body 10 is formed from a liquid-permeable top sheet 11 provided on the body side, a liquid-impermeable back sheet 12 provided on the opposite body side, an absorbent element 13 provided between the top sheet 11 and the back sheet 12, and three-dimensional gathers 16 provided on both side portions of the inner body 10 in the width direction.

The widthwise sides of the top sheet 11 extend past both sides of the back sheet 12 and the absorbent element 13, and extend to the opposite side of the absorbent element 13. In addition, the lengthwise sides of the top sheet 11 extend beyond both sides of the absorbent element 13.

The surface sheet 11 is preferably a nonwoven fabric with or without holes, a porous plastic sheet, or the like. The material fibers constituting the nonwoven fabric can be synthetic fibers such as olefins such as polyethylene or polypropylene, polyesters, and polyamides, as well as regenerated fibers such as rayon and cupra, and natural fibers such as cotton. Nonwoven fabrics obtained by appropriate processing methods such as the spunlace method, spunbond method, thermal bond method, meltblown method, and needle punch method can be used. Of these processing methods, the spunlace method is excellent in terms of flexibility and drapeability, and the thermal bond method is excellent in terms of bulk and softness. When a large number of through holes are formed in the surface sheet 11, urine and the like are quickly absorbed, resulting in an excellent dry touch.

Both widthwise sides of the back sheet 12 are folded back toward the opposite side of the body and extend to the outer sides of the absorbent element 13. In addition, both lengthwise sides of the back sheet 12 extend beyond both sides of the absorbent element 13.

For the back sheet 12, a liquid-impermeable plastic sheet such as polyethylene or polypropylene is used, but in recent years, moisture-permeable sheets are preferred to prevent stuffiness. A water-proof, moisture-permeable sheet is a microporous sheet obtained by melt-kneading an inorganic filler into an olefin resin such as polyethylene or polypropylene to form a sheet, and then stretching the sheet in a uniaxial or biaxial direction.

The absorbent element 13 is formed from an absorbent body 14 and a packaging sheet 15 that covers the absorbent body 14. In addition, in the unfolded state, the absorbent element 13 is formed into a rectangular shape.

The absorbent body 14 is formed from an abdomen portion corresponding to the wearer's abdominal side, a crotch portion corresponding to the wearer's crotch portion, and a back portion corresponding to the wearer's dorsal side. The dimensions of the abdomen, crotch portion, and back portion can be appropriately determined according to the wearer's body shape, etc., but it is preferable that the narrowest width of the crotch portion is 40-60% of the width of the abdomen and back portions, and the vertical length of the crotch portion is 20-50% of the vertical length of the absorbent body 14. This allows the disposable diaper to fit the wearer.

The absorbent body 14 can be a pulp fiber stack, a filament aggregate such as cellulose acetate, or a nonwoven fabric, with a highly absorbent polymer mixed or bonded as necessary.

The packaging sheet 15 can be made of liquid-permeable crepe paper to prevent leakage of the superabsorbent polymer mixed in the absorbent body 14.

The three-dimensional gathers 16 are formed from a fixed portion fixed to the widthwise side of the inner body 10 on the side opposite the body, and a main body portion extending from the fixed portion along the widthwise side of the inner body 10 to the widthwise side of the inner body 10 on the body side. In addition, the front and rear portions of the main body portion in the vertical direction are fixed to the body side of the inner body 10, and the vertical middle portion of the main body portion is not fixed to the body side of the inner body 10 and stands up toward the body side.

The three-dimensional gathers 16 are formed from a three-dimensional gather sheet 17 that is folded back at the tip of the main body and an elongated three-dimensional gather elastic member 18 that extends vertically.

The three-dimensional gather sheet 17 can be made of synthetic fibers such as olefins, polyesters, and amides, such as polyethylene or polypropylene, regenerated fibers such as rayon or cupra, or natural fibers such as cotton. Nonwoven fabrics obtained by suitable processing methods such as spunbonding, thermal bonding, meltblown, and needle punching can be used, but it is particularly preferable to use nonwoven fabrics with excellent breathability and reduced basis weight to prevent stuffiness. Furthermore, for the three-dimensional gather sheet 17, it is preferable to use water-repellent nonwoven fabrics coated with silicone, paraffin metal, or alkylchromic cloid water repellents to prevent urine and other substances from passing through, prevent rashes, and improve the feel (dryness) on the skin.

The three-dimensional gather elastic member 18 can be made of commonly used materials such as styrene rubber, olefin rubber, urethane rubber, ester rubber, polyurethane, polyethylene, polystyrene, styrene butadiene, silicone, and polyester. In order to make it difficult to see from the outside, it is preferable that the thickness is 925 dtex or less, the elongation rate is 150 to 350%, and the spacing is 10.0 mm or less. As shown by the two-dot chain line in Figure 3, the three-dimensional gather elastic member 18 uses its elastic force to make the three-dimensional gathers 16 stand up toward the inside, and can be in the form of a thread or a tape of a specified width.

<Exterior body>
1 and 2, the exterior body 20 is integrally formed with a front body F facing the wearer's abdomen and a back body B facing the wearer's back, and both widthwise sides of the front body F and the back body B are fixed to form side seals 21A. Both widthwise sides of the exterior body 20 are cut along concave leg lines 21B that form leg openings, forming a roughly hourglass shape. As a result, a waist opening for passing the wearer's torso and a pair of left and right leg openings for passing the legs are formed, as shown in FIG. 6.

The outer body 20 is formed from a waist section T, which is a front and rear region in the vertical direction having side seals 21A, and leg openings L, which connect the front and rear waist sections T. The waist section T is also formed from a waist section W, which is conceptually located at the waist opening, and a lower waist section U, which is located closer to the leg openings L than the waist section W.

The multiple elongated elastic members 24 are provided on the waist portion W of the front body F and the back body B of the exterior body 20, extending in the width direction at a predetermined interval in the vertical direction, and the multiple elongated elastic members 25 are provided on the lower waist portion U of the front body F and the back body B of the exterior body 20, extending in the width direction at a predetermined interval in the vertical direction.

The multiple elongated elastic members 26 are provided on the rear body B of the exterior body 20 at a predetermined interval in the vertical direction, extending from the side seal portion 21A along the leg line 21B, the multiple elongated elastic members 27 are provided on the front body F of the exterior body 20 at a predetermined interval in the vertical direction, extending from the side seal portion 21A along the leg line 21B, and the multiple elongated elastic members 28 are provided on the front body F of the exterior body 20 at a predetermined interval in the vertical direction, extending from the side seal portion 21A along the elastic members 27.

In the case of disposable diapers for adults, it is preferable that the elongation rate of elastic member 24 is 160-320%, that of elastic members 25 and 27 is 160-320%, and that of elastic members 26 and 28 is 230-320%. This allows the outer body 20 to fit closely to the wearer.

As shown in Figures 3 to 5, the exterior body 20 is formed from an inner sheet 22 located on the wearer's body side and an outer sheet 23 located on the opposite side. Both vertical sides of the outer sheet 23 are folded back toward the body side to form folded-back portions 23A. Similarly to the top sheet 11, the inner sheet 22 and the outer sheet 23 are preferably made of nonwoven fabric. The elastic members 24 to 28 are sandwiched between the inner sheet 22 and the outer sheet 23.

Fig. 7 illustrates the gripping portion 30 of the first embodiment. As shown in Fig. 7(a), the upper portion of the waist portion W of the side seal portion 21A provided on both sides in the width direction of the front body F and the back body B of the exterior body 20 is provided with a notch portion 31 having a generally V-shape with an open upper side. An embossed portion 34 having a predetermined width is formed on the lower peripheral portion of the notch portion 31. This allows the side seal portion 21A to be easily broken by pinching the embossed portion 34 with fingers and pulling it in the circumferential direction when removing the disposable diaper. Also, both sides of the elastic member 24 provided on the waist portion W can be fixed between the inner sheet 22 and the outer sheet 23 to prevent the elastic member 24 from being pulled in.

As shown in Figures 7(a) and (b), the starting point 32, which is the apex of the cutout portion 31, is formed at the lower part of the folded portion 23A where the inner sheet 22 and the outer sheet 23 are folded back to form three sheets. This makes it easier to break the side seal portion 21A when removing the disposable diaper by pinching the embossed portion 34 with your fingers and pulling it in the circumferential direction.

It is preferable that the length of the cutout 31 in the vertical direction is 10 to 40 mm, the intersection angle between the virtual line A extending in the vertical direction and the side of the cutout 31 is 10 to 45 degrees, and the width of the embossed portion 34 perpendicular to the side of the cutout 31 is 5 to 15 mm. This makes it possible to prevent the cutout 31 from becoming excessively large. In addition, the embossed pattern of the embossed portion 34 is preferably a dot pattern, zigzag pattern, spike pattern, lattice pattern, checkerboard pattern, etc. This makes it possible to prevent the embossed portion 34 from becoming excessively rigid.

8 shows a knob 30 according to the second embodiment. Note that the same parts as those in the knob of the first embodiment are given the same reference numerals and the description thereof will be omitted.

As shown in FIG. 8, the number of embossments in the lower embossed portion 34B located below the starting point 32 of the notch 31 in the embossed portion 34 is less than the number of embossments in the upper embossed portion 34A located above the starting point 32 of the notch 31 in the embossed portion 34. This makes it possible to make the rigidity of the lower embossed portion 34B lower than that of the upper embossed portion 34A, and makes it easier to break the side seal portion 21A by pinching the embossed portion 34 with fingers and pulling it in the circumferential direction when removing the disposable diaper.

(Knob of the third embodiment)
9 shows a knob 30 according to the third embodiment. The same parts as those in the knob of the first embodiment are denoted by the same reference numerals and will not be described.

As shown in FIG. 9, a substantially circular cutout 31 is provided in the middle of the lower waist portion U of the side seal portion 21A provided on both sides in the width direction of the front body F and the back body B of the outer body 20. An embossed portion 34 having a predetermined width is formed on the outer periphery of the cutout 31. The center of the cutout 31 is located on the side seal portion 21. This allows the side seal portion 21A to be easily broken by pinching the embossed portion 34 with fingers and pulling it in the circumferential direction when removing the disposable diaper. In addition, both sides of the elastic member 25 provided on the lower waist portion U can be fixed between the inner sheet 22 and the outer sheet 23 to prevent the elastic member 25 from being pulled in.

At the top of the cutout 31, i.e., in the 12 o'clock direction, there is an arc-shaped upper starting point 32A with a convex portion on the top side, and at the bottom of the cutout 31, i.e., in the 6 o'clock direction, there is an arc-shaped lower starting point 32B with a convex portion on the bottom side. This makes it easier to break the side seal portion 21A by pinching the embossed portion 34 with your fingers and pulling it in the circumferential direction when removing the disposable diaper. The shape of the upper starting point 32A can also be changed from an arc shape to a triangular shape.

It is preferable that the diameter of the notch 31 is 20 to 40 mm, and the width of the embossed portion 34 perpendicular to the notch 31 is 5 to 15 mm. This prevents the notch 31 from becoming excessively large.

10 shows a knob 30 according to the fourth embodiment. Note that the same parts as those in the knob of the first embodiment are given the same reference numerals and the description thereof will be omitted.

As shown in FIG. 10, a substantially rectangular cutout 31 is provided in the middle of the lower waist portion U of the side seal portion 21A provided on both sides in the width direction of the front body F and the back body B of the outer body 20. An embossed portion 34 having a predetermined width is formed on the outer periphery of the cutout 31. The diagonal line of the cutout 31 is provided on the side seal portion 21A along the side seal portion 21A. This allows the side seal portion 21A to be easily broken by pinching the embossed portion 34 with fingers and pulling it in the circumferential direction when removing the disposable diaper. In addition, both sides of the elastic member 25 provided on the lower waist portion U can be fixed between the inner sheet 22 and the outer sheet 23 to prevent the elastic member 25 from being pulled in.

At the top of the cutout 31, i.e., in the 12 o'clock direction, there is an arc-shaped upper starting point 32A with a convex portion on the top side, and at the bottom of the cutout 31, i.e., in the 6 o'clock direction, there is an arc-shaped lower starting point 32B with a convex portion on the bottom side. This makes it easier to break the side seal portion 21A by pinching the embossed portion 34 with your fingers and pulling it in the circumferential direction when removing the disposable diaper. The shape of the upper starting point 32A can also be changed from an arc shape to a triangular shape.

It is preferable that the length of the diagonal of the cutout 31 is 20 to 40 mm, and the width of the embossed portion 34 perpendicular to the cutout 31 is 5 to 15 mm. This prevents the cutout 31 from becoming excessively large.

(Knob of the fifth embodiment)
11 shows a knob 30 according to a fifth embodiment. Note that the same parts as those in the knob of the first embodiment are given the same reference numerals and the description thereof will be omitted.

As shown in FIG. 11, on both sides of the lower waist portion U of the front body F, there are tear lines 36 such as tear perforations extending from the side seal portion 21 toward the front upper side.

A roughly rectangular cutout 31 is provided in the middle of the break line 36. An embossed section 34 having a predetermined width is formed on the outer periphery of the cutout 31. The diagonal of the cutout 31 is provided on and along the break line 36. This allows the break line 36 to be easily broken when removing the disposable diaper by pinching the embossed section 34 with the fingers and pulling it in a direction perpendicular to the break line 36. In addition, the cut portion of the elastic member 25 provided in the lower waist portion U can be fixed between the inner sheet 22 and the outer sheet 23 to prevent the elastic member 25 from being pulled in.

At the portion of the notch 31 located above the break line 36, an arc-shaped upper starting point 32A is provided that has a convex portion on the upper side along the break line 36, and at the portion of the notch 31 located below the break line 36, an arc-shaped lower starting point 32B is provided that has a convex portion on the lower side along the break line 36. This makes it easier to break the break line 36 when removing the disposable diaper by pinching the embossed portion 34 with fingers and pulling it in a direction perpendicular to the break line 36. The shape of the upper starting point 32A can also be changed from an arc shape to a triangular shape.

It is preferable that the length of the diagonal of the cutout 31 is 20 to 40 mm, and the width of the embossed portion 34 perpendicular to the cutout 31 is 5 to 15 mm. This prevents the cutout 31 from becoming excessively large.

<Explanation of terms used in the specification>
As used herein, the following terms have the following meanings unless otherwise specified in the specification.

The terms "front body" and "rear body" refer to the front and rear parts of a pants-type disposable diaper, with the front-to-rear center as the boundary. The crotch area refers to the front-to-rear range including the front-to-rear center of the pants-type disposable diaper, and if the absorbent body has a constricted portion, refers to the front-to-rear range of the part that has the constricted portion.

"Elongation rate" refers to the value when the natural length is 100%. For example, an elongation rate of 200% is equivalent to an elongation ratio of 2 times.

- "Expanded state" means a flat, unfolded state without contraction or sagging.

- Unless otherwise specified, the dimensions of each part refer to the dimensions in the unfolded state, not the natural length.

This invention can be used in disposable diapers.
