収納箱1は、図1(a),(b)に示すように、扉Dを備え、内部に物体を収納可能な箱状の収納部2を備える。収納部2の下方には、図2に示すように、架台3が設けられる。架台3は、図3に示すように、収納部2の底面2aと同一形状で、底面2aより僅かに小さい底面部3aと、底面部3aの中央から上方に突出する四角柱状の支持部3bを備える。架台3の底面部3aと、収納部2の底面2aとの間に、錘としての矩形状のレンガ4が複数敷設されている。錘としてレンガ4を用いることで、コンクリートブロック等を錘とした場合に比べ、美観を向上させることができる。

続いて、架台3の底面部3aの上面に、所定重量を有するレンガ4を所定数だけ敷設する。この時、敷設したレンガ4の高さが、支持部3bの高さよりも僅かに高くなるまでレンガ4を積み上げる。
その後、収納部2を支持部3bの上方に載置して、収納部2の底面2aに設けられた挿通孔5及び支持部3bの上面に設けられた貫通孔7を介して、ボルト・ナット等の固定手段6を挿通し、螺着固定する。これより、収納部2と架台3とが連結され、固定手段6を締め込むことで、図4に示すように、収納部2の底面2a、レンガ4及び架台3の底面部3aが圧接され、敷設されたレンガ4が固定される。
