Description

The present invention relates to a system for delivering and receiving goods using rental lockers.

Conventionally, in the buying and selling of goods, it has been common for the seller to directly hand over the goods to the buyer.
However, with the development of online shopping, auction sites, flea market apps, and other online services, opportunities for sellers to hand over products directly to buyers are becoming less common.
In addition, there has been an increase in requests to have products delivered to people's homes due to the impact of restrictions on going out caused by the spread of the infection, as well as the convenience of customers.

The most common method of delivering goods to homes is by courier service. However, courier services have their own inconveniences, such as the seller having to pack the goods and write the address on them, and the buyer having to be at home at the specified time.

As disclosed in Patent Document 1, a locker system has been proposed that delivers products purchased online or at a store such as a department store to a delivery locker installed in a public facility such as the nearest train station, convenience store, or post office designated by the purchaser.

The locker system disclosed in Patent Document 1 performs the following operations.
A purchaser who purchases an item reserves a vacant locker in advance, and when the management center completes the reception, it notifies the purchaser and locks the corresponding locker.
The management center then instructs the seller to ship the product, and notifies the name of the station where the locker is installed and the locker number. The delivery person goes to the designated locker, inserts the card provided by the management center into the card reader, and enters the locker number to unlock the locker.
When the delivery company places the product in the designated locker, a sensor in the locker detects that the product has been placed in the locker and transmits the information to a management center, which then notifies the purchaser that the product has been placed in the locker.

In this way, conventional locker systems allow customers to specify the locker they wish to use, and the seller (or a delivery company) places the goods there.
In other words, sellers in conventional locker systems are forced to store products in lockers at locations convenient for the buyer, which can be time-consuming and time-consuming for the seller. In particular, when the seller is an individual, it is extremely difficult to store products in lockers designated for the buyer's convenience, and there is a demand for a product delivery system that can be easily used by individual sellers.

The present invention was made to solve the above problems, and its purpose is to provide a product delivery system that uses rental lockers that can be easily used even by ordinary individual sellers.

According to this configuration, a seller who wants to rent box space can easily enter into a rental contract on the management server or locker device.

FIG. 1 shows the overall configuration of a product delivery system using rental lockers according to this embodiment.
The product delivery system (hereinafter sometimes simply referred to as the delivery system) 10 using rental lockers in this embodiment includes a management server 12, a locker device 20 having a plurality of box spaces 21, a seller terminal device 30 owned by the seller, and a buyer terminal device 40 owned by the buyer.
The management server 12, the locker device 20, the seller terminal device 30 owned by the seller, and the purchaser terminal device 40 owned by the purchaser are connected to each other via a communication line 11 such as the Internet so as to be able to communicate data with each other.

In this embodiment, a management company that owns and manages the locker devices 20 operates a management server 12 to run a website for buying and selling products, and also runs a business of renting out the box spaces 21 of the locker devices 20 it owns to sellers who sell products. The management company manages multiple locker devices 20, and each locker device 20 is provided with multiple box spaces 21 of different sizes.

The seller terminal device 30 and the buyer terminal device 40 may each be a terminal device such as a smartphone, but are not limited to a smartphone and may also be a tablet or notebook PC.

In addition, the storage device 15 stores, for each box space 21 in each locker device 20, information on whether it is rented or vacant, as well as the locked/unlocked status of the locking mechanism 62, the open/closed status of the door, and the operating status of the surveillance camera 60.

The control section 14 of the management server 12 is provided with a product buying and selling function 22 for constructing a product selling website that displays products that sellers wish to sell and their prices on a website and enables a buyer who wishes to buy the products to make an electronic payment and buy the products.
The product buying and selling function 22 registers in advance personal identification information such as the address, name, and email address of a seller who wishes to sell a product, as well as payment information such as the seller's credit card number. The personal identification information and payment information of the registered seller are stored in the storage device 15 of the management server 12. The product buying and selling function 22 assigns a seller's unique ID and password to the registered seller.
A registered seller uploads photo data of a product he/she wishes to sell, product description data (description of product contents, size, weight, color, etc.), and product price to a management server 12, and is thereby able to display product photos, product descriptions, product prices, etc. on a product sales website.

The rental contract function 24 displays rental information regarding each box space, such as the location of the locker device 20, the size of each box space 21, the rental period, and the rental fee, to the seller on a locker rental website.

The locker rental website is constructed so that only sellers who have registered as sellers can view it. In other words, if a seller has registered as a seller in advance, he or she can move to the locker rental website by inputting the assigned ID and password.

The locker rental website displays the installation location of the locker device 20, the size of each box space 21 constituting the locker device 20, the desired rental period, and the rental fee.
Since information regarding these locker devices 20 is owned by the management company that manages and operates the management server 12, the management company inputs the information in advance and stores it in the storage device 15 of the management server 12 and registers it there.
The information on box spaces displayed on the locker rental website relates to currently vacant box spaces 21. The control unit 14 of the management server 12 performs control so that box spaces 21 currently being rented are not displayed.

On the locker rental website, if one locker device 20 has only one size of box space, the size of the only type of box space 21 will be listed, but if one locker device 20 has multiple sizes of box space 21, a selection button 35 can be provided so that the seller can select the size of the box space 21.

In addition, a selection button 34 is provided on the locker rental website so that the seller can select the desired rental period for each box space 21 of the locker device 20. In this embodiment, the rental fee is set in weekly units, so it is preferable to set the selection button 34 so that the seller can select the rental period in weekly units.
However, the seller may enter the desired number of weeks or days as the desired rental period, rather than selecting it using the selection button 34.

In addition, in the present embodiment, an example is shown in which the rental fee is set on a weekly basis, but the fee may be set on a daily or monthly basis.
Furthermore, when box spaces 21 of different sizes exist in the same locker device 20, it is preferable to vary the rental fee depending on the size of the box space 21. For example, the rental fee is set to be higher for the larger box space 21.
When box spaces 21 of different sizes exist in the same locker device 20 and the rental fee is to be varied depending on the size, the rental fee of the box space 21 selected by the selection button 35 is controlled to be displayed.

Then, the control unit 14 of the management server 12 transmits information such as the individual number of the box space 21 to be rented and the rental period to the locker device 20 of the box space 21 for which the rental contract has been completed.

It is also possible to provide the rental contract function in the locker device 20 instead of providing the rental contract function in the management server 12 .

Furthermore, the control unit 14 of the management server 12 has an unlocking key sending function 26 for sending an unlocking key to the seller who is the lessor of the box space 21 for which electronic payment has been completed. The unlocking key is sent to the email address of the seller terminal device 30 owned by the seller, which is registered as the seller's personal identification information.

When the purchaser clicks on the payment button 38 on the purchase procedure website, the control unit 14 of the management server 12 performs electronic payment based on a credit card number or the like, or if the purchaser selects to pay at a locker device 20, the control unit 14 of the management server 12 transmits the purchaser's personal identification information and the amount of the purchased item to the corresponding locker device 20.

The entered personal identification information of the purchaser and payment information are stored in the storage device 15 of the management server 12.

When payment is completed on the purchase procedure web site, the control unit 14 of the management server 12 uses an unlocking key transmission function 26 to transmit an unlocking key to the purchaser who has completed electronic payment.
The destination of the unlocking key is the email address of the purchaser terminal device 40 owned by the purchaser, which is registered as the purchaser's personal identification information.
It is preferable to use, for example, a QR code (registered trademark) as the unlocking key. By using a QR code (registered trademark) as the unlocking key, the purchaser terminal device 40 that receives the unlocking key can easily unlock the target box space 21.

The locker device 20 also includes a management device 44, which executes control operations such as unlocking and settlement between the seller terminal device 30 and the purchaser terminal device 40.

The speaker 58 also functions as an alarm device that issues an alarm when a door-opening sensor 64, which will be described later, detects that the door of the box space 21 has been forced open. Each box space 21 is also provided with a locking mechanism 62 for locking and unlocking, a door opening sensor 64 for detecting if the door is forcibly opened when the locking mechanism 62 is locked, and an interior detection sensor 49 for detecting the presence or absence of products in each box space 21.

The lock mechanism 62 is controlled by the control unit 50 to be unlocked when the seller or purchaser has the unlocking key read by the reading device 56 as described above.
The locking mechanism 62 automatically locks the door when it is closed. Therefore, if it is desired to open the door again after it has been locked, it is necessary to have the unlocking key read by the reading device 56 again.

When the door open sensor 64 detects that the door is open, it transmits a signal indicating that the door is open to the control unit 50. The image data captured by the surveillance camera 60 can contribute to identifying suspicious persons at the locker device 20, or, in the case where the door is forced open, the person who forced it open.

The payment terminal 48 is provided for use when the purchaser pays for the purchase at the locker device 20 .
Examples of the payment terminal 48 include a credit card reader, an electronic money reader including a QR code (registered trademark) payment device, and an automatic settlement machine with an automatic change function.
When the purchaser's payment is complete, the settlement terminal 48 notifies the control unit 50 of the locker device 20 that the payment has been completed. When the control unit 50 of the locker device 20 receives the notification that the payment has been completed, it controls the lock mechanism 62 of the corresponding box space 21 to be unlocked.
Furthermore, even if payment has been completed via the payment terminal 48, the control unit 50 of the locker device 20 may not control the unlocking of the locking mechanism 62 of the corresponding box space 21, and the control unit 50 of the locker device 20 may notify the control unit 14 of the management server 12 that payment has been completed, and the unlocking key sending function 26 of the management server 12 may send the unlocking key to the purchaser terminal device 40.

The interior detection sensor 49 can detect the presence or absence of goods in each box space 21.
When the control unit 50 of the locker device 20 detects that a purchaser has opened the corresponding box space 21 using the unlocking key and the interior detection sensor 49 detects that the product has been removed from the box space 21, it notifies the control unit 14 of the management server 12 of this fact.
A control unit 14 of the management server 12 judges that the product has been delivered to the buyer when the buyer opens the corresponding box space 21 and the product is not present, and notifies a seller terminal device 30 that the product has been delivered to the buyer.

In addition, if there is still time left on the rental period for the box space 21 after the product has been delivered to the purchaser, the seller can still use the same box space 21 to sell another product.

When the control unit 50 of the locker device 20 detects that the purchaser has opened the corresponding box space 21 using the unlocking key and the interior detection sensor 49 detects that there is still merchandise present in the box space 21, it notifies the control unit 14 of the management server 12 of this fact.
The control unit 14 of the management server 12 determines that the purchaser has not taken out the product because the purchaser has opened the corresponding box space 21 and the product is still present, and notifies the seller terminal device 30 of that fact. The control unit 14 of the management server 12 may also send a notification to the purchaser terminal device 40 asking the purchaser why the product was not taken out.

The locker device 20 is preferably installed in a public place with a roof, such as a train station.
The power source for the locker device 20 can be a 100V AC commercial power source or the like, and a power supply device (not shown) is provided within the locker device 20 to convert the commercial power source into DC power to operate each component.
Also, an uninterruptible power supply or a battery may be provided so that the device can continue to operate even during a power outage.

The following describes a case where the locker device 20 is provided with a rental contract function.
The control unit 50 of the locker device 20 causes the display unit 52 to display a screen for the seller to enter into a rental contract for the box space 21 .
The screen displayed on the display unit 52 of the locker device 20 is similar to the content shown in Figures 4 and 5, and at least the desired rental period and rental fee are displayed. The desired rental period can be selected or input by the seller in units of one week or one day.
Furthermore, in the case where the locker device 20 is provided with a plurality of sizes of box spaces 21, a selection button can be provided so that the seller can select the size of the box space 21.

If a seller finds a box space 21 that they like, they can rent it for a specified period of time and for a specified amount of money. When the seller presses the contract button from the input unit 54 for the box space 21 that they like on the display unit 52, the screen moves to the locker contract screen.

On the locker contract screen, the seller inputs the seller's ID and password registered in the management server 12 from the input unit 54, or inputs personal identification information such as the address and name. When the ID and password are input, the control unit 50 of the locker device 20 transmits the input ID and password to the management server 12, and the management server 12 extracts the seller's personal identification information from the storage device 15 based on the ID and password transmitted from the locker device 20 and transmits it to the locker device 20.
At this time, if payment information such as the seller's credit card number has already been stored in the storage device 15 , the management server 12 extracts the payment information from the storage device 15 and transmits it to the locker device 20 .

The control unit 50 of the locker device 20 displays the size of the box space selected by the seller, the rental period, the rental fee, etc. on the display unit 52, and also displays the seller's payment information stored in the management server 12. If the seller's payment information is not stored in the management server 12, the seller inputs payment information such as a credit card number from the input unit 54.

The seller checks the personal identification information, contracted box space information, and payment information such as credit card information displayed on the display unit 52, and if there are no problems, clicks the payment button displayed on the display unit 52.
When the payment button 37 is clicked, the control unit 50 of the locker device 20 performs electronic payment based on a credit card number or the like.

The payment terminal 48 installed in the locker device 20 may be used to settle the rental contract for the seller's box space 21. As described above, the payment terminal 48 may be a credit card reader, an electronic money reader including QR code (registered trademark) payment, or an automatic settlement machine with an automatic change function, and the seller can make the payment by credit card, electronic money, or cash.

When the settlement of the rental contract for the seller's box space is completed, the control unit 50 of the locker device 20 notifies the management server 12 that the settlement has been completed.

Furthermore, an input field is displayed on the display unit 52 of the locker device 20 for inputting which of the seller's products will be used to store the rented box space 21. For example, if a number is assigned to each product, the number may be input, or the product name may be input.
The control unit 50 of the locker device 20 notifies the management server 12 of information regarding the product number or product name to be stored in the rented box space 21. The control unit 14 of the management server 12 performs control based on the number or product name notified from the locker device 20 so as to display the location of the locker device in the rented box space 21 in the sales location column for the corresponding product on the product sales website shown in FIG.

Also, it is possible to leave the product input field on the display unit 52 of the locker device 20 blank and not use it for storing products. If nothing is entered into the input field 36, the seller who has leased the box space 21 can use the box space 21 for personal storage of items, etc.
If nothing is entered in the product input field on the display unit 52 of the locker device 20, the control unit 50 of the locker device 20 notifies the management server 12 that no information regarding the product number or product name has been entered.
In this case, the control unit 14 of the management server 12 will not display the location of the locker device in the rented box space 21 in the sales location column for the relevant product on the product sales website, but will instead display the name of the delivery company.

Next, FIG. 8 shows an embodiment in which a receiving space 68 is provided in the locker device 20.
The receiving space 68 is a space where a seller can receive mail or parcels delivered to the seller who has signed a lease contract for the box space 21. Therefore, an address can be given to the receiving space 68.
The rental contract for the receiving space 68 may be made separately from the rental contract for the box space 21, or may be automatically included when the rental contract for the box space 21 is made.

In FIG. 8, the upper part of the box space 21 rented by the seller is configured as the receiving space 68, but the location where the receiving space 68 is provided is not limited to the upper part of the box space 21 rented by the seller.

A front door 71 is formed in front of the receiving space 68. The front door 71 can be hinged on either the left, right, top or bottom, and can open in a single-sided, top-opening or bottom-opening manner. The receiving space 68 can also be shaped like a tray, and the front door 71 can be pulled forward to pull out the tray.

The front door 71 is also provided with an insertion slot 70 for inserting mail and parcels, and a locking mechanism 74 for locking and unlocking the door.
As described above, the locking mechanism 74 is controlled by the control unit 50 to be unlocked when the seller has the unlocking key read by the reading device 56. Since the receiving space 68 can only be unlocked by the seller, the unlocking key for the receiving space 68 is separate from the unlocking key for the box space 21, and is transmitted from the control unit 14 of the management server 12 to the seller terminal device 30.

Inside the receiving space 68, a receiving space detection sensor 72 is provided to detect mail or parcels within the receiving space. When the receiving space detection sensor 72 detects that mail or parcels have been delivered within the receiving space 68, it notifies the control unit 14 of the management server 12 of this fact. The control unit 14 of the management server 12 notifies the seller terminal device 30 that mail or parcels have been delivered within the receiving space 68.

Moreover, the box space 21 in FIG. 8 shows an embodiment in which it is partitioned into two spaces, an anterior chamber 76 and a posterior chamber 78, in the depth direction (front-back direction).
A rear door 80 is provided at a predetermined position within the box space 21, which opens and closes the rear chamber 78 and separates the front chamber 76 from the rear chamber 78. The rear door 80 is provided with a locking mechanism 82 that is unlocked by an unlocking key transmitted from the control unit 14 of the management server 12 to the seller and/or purchaser who has rented the box space 21.

A front door 84 is provided at the front of the front chamber 76. The front door 84 is provided with a locking mechanism 86 that is unlocked by an unlocking key transmitted from the control unit 14 of the management server 12 to the seller and/or purchaser who has rented the box space 21.

In addition, since the front door 84 must also be opened when the rear door 80 is opened, the unlocking key for unlocking the rear door 80 can also unlock the front door 84. In other words, for a purchaser who uses the rear chamber 78, the control unit 14 of the management server 12 transmits to the purchaser terminal device 40 an unlocking key capable of unlocking both the front door 84 and the rear door 80.
On the other hand, for a purchaser who uses only the front chamber 76 , an unlocking key for unlocking only the front door 84 is transmitted to the purchaser terminal device 40 by the control unit 14 of the management server 12 .

An anterior chamber detection sensor 88 capable of detecting the presence or absence of a commodity in the anterior chamber 76 is provided inside the anterior chamber 76, and a posterior chamber detection sensor 89 capable of detecting the presence or absence of a commodity in the posterior chamber 78 is provided inside the posterior chamber 78.
When the control unit 50 of the locker device 20 detects that the purchaser has opened the front door 84 with the unlocking key and that the product in the front chamber 76 has disappeared, it notifies the control unit 14 of the management server 12 of that fact. The control unit 14 of the management server 12 determines that the product in the front chamber 76 has been handed over to the purchaser, and notifies the seller terminal device 30 that the product in the front chamber 76 has been handed over to the purchaser.
Furthermore, when the control unit 50 of the locker device 20 detects that the purchaser has opened the front door 84 and the rear door 80 with the unlocking key and detects that the product in the rear chamber 78 has disappeared, it notifies the control unit 14 of the management server 12 to that effect. The control unit 14 of the management server 12 determines that the product in the rear chamber 78 has been handed over to the purchaser, and notifies the seller terminal device 30 that the product in the rear chamber 78 has been handed over to the purchaser.

FIG. 9 shows a schematic plan view of the box space 21 which is partitioned in the depth direction (front-back direction) into two spaces, an anterior chamber 76 and a posterior chamber 78 .
Hinges 90a, 90b are attached to both the left and right inner wall surfaces of the box space 21. One wing 91a of the hinge 90a is fixed to the inner wall surface on the left side in a plan view of the box space 21, and the other wing 91b protrudes inwardly of the box space 21 and functions as a stopper for the rear door 80.

One of the wings 92a of the hinge 90b is fixed to the inner wall surface on the right side of the box space 21 when viewed from above, and the other wing 92b protrudes inside the box space 21. A hinge 93 that opens and closes the rear door 80 is attached to the other wing 92b.

The case where a large commodity is stored in the box space 21 divided into a front chamber 76 and a rear chamber 78 will be described with reference to FIG.
After the rear door 80 is opened, the other wing 91b of the hinge 90a is opened so as to be parallel to the inner wall surface, the other wing 92b of the hinge 90b is opened so as to be parallel to the inner wall surface, and the hinge 93 of the rear door 80 is also opened so as to be parallel to the inner wall surface.
By opening each hinge so as to be parallel to the inner wall surface in this manner, the box space 21 can be utilized as one space, and a large space can be provided without any obstructive protruding parts.

Examples of usage of the box space 21 shown in FIGS. 8 and 9 include the following usage examples in addition to using it as one box space for a large sized product as shown in FIG.
The front chamber 76 can be used for placing products, and the rear chamber 78 can be used for placing inventory.
Also, two products can be placed in both the front chamber 76 and the rear chamber 78, and the product in the front chamber 76 can be sold first, followed by the product in the rear chamber 78. Furthermore, a seller can purchase two products, store the product he or she purchased in the rear chamber 78, and make the product stored in the front chamber 76 available for sale.

Next, Figs. 11 and 12 show an embodiment of the box space 21 that is vertically divided into two spaces, an upper chamber 94 and a lower chamber 96. Note that Fig. 11 shows a configuration in which the receiving space 68 shown in Fig. 8 is provided at the top, but a configuration without the receiving space 68 is also possible. The configuration of the receiving space 68 is the same as that described above, so it is given the same reference numerals and description will be omitted.

The box space 21 is provided with an upper chamber 94 and a lower chamber 96 in the vertical direction, and the upper chamber 94 and the lower chamber 96 are separated by a removable middle plate 98.
The middle plate 98 is placed on L-shaped angles 99a, 99b attached to the left and right inner wall surfaces of the box space 21, and can be removed. When the middle plate 98 is removed, the upper chamber 94 and the lower chamber 96 can be used as one space. The removed middle plate 98 can be placed on the bottom surface of the lower chamber 96.

An upper door 100 is provided on the front of the upper chamber 94. The upper door 100 is provided with a locking mechanism 102 that is unlocked by an unlocking key transmitted from the control unit 14 of the management server 12 to the seller and purchaser who have rented the box space 21.

A lower door 104 is provided on the front of the lower chamber 96. The lower door 104 is provided with a locking mechanism 109 that is unlocked by an unlocking key transmitted from the control unit 14 of the management server 12 to the seller and purchaser who have rented the box space 21.

The unlocking key for unlocking the upper door 100 is set in the control unit 14 of the management server 12 so that only the upper door 100 can be unlocked, and the unlocking key for unlocking the lower door 104 is set in the control unit 14 of the management server 12 so that only the lower door 104 can be unlocked.

An upper chamber detection sensor 106 capable of detecting the presence or absence of a commodity in the upper chamber 94 is provided inside the upper chamber 94, and a lower chamber detection sensor 108 capable of detecting the presence or absence of a commodity in the lower chamber 96 is provided inside the lower chamber 96.
When the control unit 50 of the locker device 20 detects that the purchaser has opened the upper door 100 with the unlocking key and that the products in the upper compartment 94 have disappeared, it notifies the control unit 14 of the management server 12 of this fact. The control unit 14 of the management server 12 determines that the products in the upper compartment 94 have been handed over to the purchaser, and notifies the seller terminal device 30 that the products in the upper compartment 94 have been handed over to the purchaser.
Furthermore, when the control unit 50 of the locker device 20 detects that the purchaser has opened the lower door 104 with the unlocking key and that the products in the lower chamber 96 have disappeared, it notifies the control unit 14 of the management server 12 of this fact. The control unit 14 of the management server 12 determines that the products in the lower chamber 96 have been handed over to the purchaser, and notifies the seller terminal device 30 that the products in the lower chamber 96 have been handed over to the purchaser.

As an example of how the box space 21 shown in Figures 11 and 12 can be used as a single box space for large-sized goods, or either the upper chamber 94 or the lower chamber 96 can be used for delivery of goods, and the other can be used for inventory management.
Both the upper chamber 94 and the lower chamber 96 may be used for delivery of goods.
In addition, either the upper chamber 94 or the lower chamber 96 may be used as a receiving area for home deliveries of goods purchased by the seller who has rented the box space 21.

Next, an embodiment in which a plurality of products can be stored in the box space 21 and a stock space is provided from which the stored products can be sent out one by one will be described with reference to FIG.
In this embodiment, the inside of the box space 21 is divided in the front-rear direction by a partition wall 110 , and the rear side of the partition wall 110 is configured as a stock space 112 .

A sending device 116 capable of sending out the stocked products 120 one by one is provided in the stock space 112. As the sending device 116 in this embodiment, a spiral rack provided along the vertical direction is used.
The spiral rack is provided with a motor 121 at the top, and is configured so that the rotation of the motor 121 rotates the spiral rack, causing products 120 held in the spiral rack to descend.

In front of the partition wall 110, there is provided a placement space 114 for placing products sent out from the stock space 112.
A pushable door 122 is provided at the lower end of the partition wall 110 so that the door 122 can be pushed by the product 120 to open in only one direction toward the placement space 114 in order to transport the product 120 from the stock space 112 .
In addition, a conveyor 124 for transporting products is provided across the lower end of the stock space 112 and the placement space 114 .
A door 128 is provided at the front of the box space 21, and the door 128 is provided with a locking mechanism 130.

In addition, an in-placement space detection sensor 126 is provided in the placement space 114. In the stock space 112, an in-stock space detection sensor 132 is provided to detect whether the stocked product 120 has run out.

When the control unit 50 of the locker device 20 detects that the purchaser has opened the door 128 with an unlocking key, detects that there are no more products in the placement space 114, and detects that there are still products 120 in the stock space 112, it drives the motor 121 to drop one product 120 from the spiral rack onto the conveyor 124.
Next, the control unit 50 of the locker device 20 drives the conveyor 124 to move the product 120 on the conveyor 124 to the placement space 114.

When the control unit 50 of the locker device 20 detects that the purchaser has opened the door 128 with the unlocking key, detects that there are no more products in the placement space 114, and detects that there are no products 120 in the stock space 112, indicating that the product is out of stock, it notifies the control unit 14 of the management server 12 to that effect. The control unit 14 of the management server 12 notifies the seller terminal device 30 that the product 120 in the stock space 112 is out of stock.

In this embodiment, the sending device 116 capable of sending out the stocked products 120 one by one is not limited to a spiral rack, and other configurations may be adopted.
Furthermore, the device for sending out the products 120 into the placement space 114 is not limited to the conveyor 124, and a device such as a pusher may be used.

Furthermore, the product delivery system using the rental lockers described above is not limited to the above embodiment, and for example, the locker device may be equipped with a refrigeration function or a freezing function that can set the temperature or humidity state appropriate for each product, such as products that need to be refrigerated or frozen, and other configurations may be adopted within the scope that does not deviate from the spirit of the invention.
