Description

The present invention relates to a pouch with a spout, a pouch case, and a pouch storage method.

Conventionally, as a container for storing liquid contents such as drinking water or liquid detergent, a spouted pouch formed into a bag shape by heat welding multiple resin films to form a bag-making seal portion has been known (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

However, because the resin film that makes up such pouches is flexible, the weight of the liquid inside (liquid pressure) can cause the lower part of the pouch body to bulge, a phenomenon known as "body bulge," especially when the pouch is made to have a large capacity.

If the above-mentioned bulging occurs, it will be necessary to secure a large space for the pouch when it is in use, displayed, transported, etc. Also, when using a bag-in-box format, it will be necessary to give the case strength in consideration of the bulging of the pouch itself.

In addition, with such spouted pouches, as shown in FIG. 6, when multiple spouted pouches 110 are stored and transported inside a case 190 made of cardboard or the like, the spouted pouches 110 tend to move within the case 190, and there is a risk that the spouts 160 will be subjected to load due to collisions of the spouts 160 with the inner wall of the case 190.

The present invention aims to solve these problems by providing a pouch with a spout, a case containing a pouch, and a method of storing a pouch that has a simple configuration, suppresses bulging of the pouch body, and suppresses collision of the spout with the inner wall of the case during transportation.

The spout-equipped pouch of the present invention comprises a pouch body, a spout attached to the pouch body, and an inner support member arranged within the pouch body, the pouch body having a pair of main body films arranged opposite to each other in a front-to-back direction, a first side film connecting one side portions of the pair of main body films in the lateral direction, and a second side film connecting the other side portions of the pair of main body films in the lateral direction, the pouch body being configured as a gusset-type pouch having gusset portions formed on both sides and/or a bottom, the inner support member being arranged in the vertical direction when the pouch body is in an upright state with the front-to-back direction being horizontal, the inner support member being arranged in the vertical direction when the pouch body is in an upright state with the front-to-back direction being horizontal, and a non-attached portion arranged within the pouch body in an unattached state, The problem is solved by having a pair of attached portions formed at positions sandwiching the non-attached portion in the front-back direction and attached to the inner surface of one of the pair of main films and the inner surface of the other of the pair of main films, the attached portions having non-attached portion side edges which are boundaries with the non-attached portions, the main film having a fixed line to which the non-attached portion side edges are fixed, a spout side region from the fixed line to the connection point of the main film and the first side film, and a non-spout side region from the fixed line to the edge of the main film on the second side film side, and the spout is attached to the vertical lower part of the first side film and has a spout protrusion positioned outer than the first side film.
The pouch-containing case of the present invention is a pouch-containing case comprising the spout-equipped pouch, and a case for accommodating a plurality of spout-equipped pouches filled with a liquid, lined up in the parallel pouch direction with the spouts facing in a horizontal state perpendicular to the parallel pouch direction, wherein the orientations of the spouts of the plurality of spout-equipped pouches are opposite between adjacent spout-equipped pouches in the parallel pouch direction, and the fixed line of one spout-equipped pouch adjacent to the parallel pouch direction is different from the fixed line of the other spout-equipped pouch. The spout-equipped pouches are arranged within the pouch accommodating section of the case such that the spout side region of one of the spout-equipped pouches faces the pouch parallel direction, and a portion of the non-spout side region of one of the spout-equipped pouches adjacent in the pouch parallel direction is positioned further outboard in the left-right direction than the spout of the other spout-equipped pouch, and the case is sized so that there is no gap or only a small gap is formed between the inner wall of the pouch accommodating section and the multiple spout-equipped pouches in the pouch parallel direction and the left-right direction, thereby solving the above problem.
The pouch storage method of the present invention is a pouch storage method in which a plurality of spout-equipped pouches filled with content liquid are stored in a pouch storage section of a case in a horizontal state with the spouts facing in a left-right direction perpendicular to the pouch parallel direction, lined up in the pouch parallel direction, the case being sized such that there is no gap or only a small gap is formed between an inner wall of the pouch storage section and the plurality of spout-equipped pouches in the pouch parallel direction and the left-right direction, a spout-equipped pouch disposed in the case such that the orientation of the spouts of adjacent spout-equipped pouches is opposite, the adhesion line of one spout-equipped pouch adjacent to the pouches in the parallel direction of the pouches faces the spout side area of the other spout-equipped pouch in the parallel direction of the pouches, and a portion of the non-spout side area of one spout-equipped pouch adjacent to the pouches in the parallel direction of the pouches is positioned further outboard in the left-right direction than the spout of the other spout-equipped pouch.

According to the present invention, by installing an inner support member having a pair of fixing portions fixed to the inner surface of one of the pair of main films and the inner surface of the other of the pair of main films within the pouch body, it is possible to prevent the pair of main films to which the fixing portions are fixed from separating from each other, thereby maintaining the overall shape of the pouch containing the liquid contents and suppressing so-called bulging, which occurs in the lower part of the pouch body due to the weight of the liquid contents, such as drinking water.
Furthermore, in the present invention, by installing an inner support member within the pouch body, which has a pair of fixing portions fixed to the inner surface of one of the pair of main films and the inner surface of the other of the pair of main films, it is possible to utilize the unevenness formed in the main film by the liquid pressure of the contents when filled with the liquid contents to suppress relative movement between adjacent spout-equipped pouches within the case, thereby suppressing collisions of the spouts with the inner wall of the case which tend to occur when multiple spout-equipped pouches are stored and transported within a case made of cardboard or the like.

Below, a spouted pouch 10 according to one embodiment of the present invention is described with reference to the drawings.

The spouted pouch 10 contains liquid contents such as drinking water or liquid detergent, and as shown in Figs. 1 and 2, has a pouch body 20 formed into a bag shape from a flexible resin film, a spout 60 attached to the pouch body 20, and an inner support member 70 arranged inside the pouch body 20. The spouted pouch 10 is stored in a case 90 during transportation, etc.

The components of the spouted pouch 10 are described below. Note that the front-back direction X, the lateral direction Y, and the vertical direction Z used below are mutually perpendicular directions.

As shown in Figs. 1 and 2, the pouch body 20 is formed into a bag shape by heat welding a plurality of films 30, 40, 50 made of resin films to form a bag-making seal portion 23.
Specifically, as shown in Figures 1 and 2, the pouch body 20 has a pair of main body films 30 arranged opposite each other in the front-to-back direction X, a first side film 40 connecting one side of the pair of main body films 30 in the horizontal direction Y, and a second side film 50 connecting the other side of the pair of main body films 30 in the horizontal direction Y, and is formed into a bag shape by heat-welding the films 30, 40, 50 around the content liquid storage section 21 to form a bag-making seal section 23, and in this embodiment, it is configured as a so-called horizontal gusset type pouch with gusset sections 22 formed on both side sections.

Each film 30, 40, 50 is formed as a rectangular (or nearly rectangular) resin film with a heat-sealed layer on at least one side, and is arranged so that the heat-sealed layers face each other at the locations where they are heat-sealed to each other.

The heat-sealed regions of the films 30, 40, and 50 are as follows.
First, as shown in Figure 3, the main body film 30 has a heat-sealed area 31 that is heat-sealed to the other main body film 30, a heat-sealed area 32 that is heat-sealed to the first side film 40, a heat-sealed area 33 that is heat-sealed to the second side film 50, and a heat-sealed area 34 that is heat-sealed to the inner support member 70.
As shown in FIG. 3, the first side film 40 has a heat-sealed area 41 that is heat-sealed to one side of the main film 30, a heat-sealed area 42 that is heat-sealed to the other side of the main film 30, and a heat-sealed area 43 that is heat-sealed to the spout 60 (the flange).
As shown in FIG. 3 , the second side film 50 has a heat-sealed region 51 that is heat-sealed to one side of the main film 30 , and a heat-sealed region 52 that is heat-sealed to the other side of the main film 30 .

As shown in FIG. 3, the main film 30 has a fixed line 35 to which the non-fixed portion side edge 72a of the inner support member 70 described later is fixed, a spout side region 36 from the fixed line 35 to the connection point of the main film 30 and the first side film 40 (specifically, the inner edge of the heat-sealed portion between the main film 30 and the first side film 40), and a non-spout side region 37 from the fixed line 35 to the edge of the main film 30 on the second side film 50 side.

As shown in Figures 3 and 4, if the horizontal Y dimension of the spout protrusion 61 of the spout 60 described later is defined as Ws, the horizontal Y dimension of the spout side region 36 of the main film 30 at the spout height position when the spout 60 is attached in the vertical direction Z is defined as W1, and the horizontal Y dimension of the non-spout side region 37 of the main film 30 at the spout height position is W2, then the configuration is such that Ws < W2 - W1/2 is satisfied.
The dimension Ws is the dimension of the longest portion of the spout protruding portion 61 in the horizontal direction Y.
The above-mentioned dimensions W1 and W2 are the dimensions when the main film 30 is stretched flat as shown in FIG.

As shown in FIG. 3, the dimension W2 of the non-spout side region 37 in the lateral direction Y is set to be smaller than the dimension W1 of the spout side region 36 in the lateral direction Y.
Further, the dimension W2 of the non-spout side region 37 in the horizontal direction Y is set to be larger than half the dimension W1 of the spout side region 36 in the horizontal direction Y.

The spout 60 is made of synthetic resin or the like, and is attached to the pouch body 20 to function as an outlet for the liquid content.
In this embodiment, the spout 60 is attached (fixed) to the first side film 40 by thermal welding, as shown in FIG.
The spout 60 has a spout protruding portion 61 that is disposed outside the first side film 40 .
The spout 60 is configured (dimensions designed and attached) so that the spout 60 fits within the projection plane of the first side film 40 when the first side film 40 to which the spout 60 is attached is viewed in a direction perpendicular to the film planar direction of the first side film 40. This makes it possible to prevent the spout 60 from interfering with adjacent spout-equipped pouches 10 or the case 90 (the top panel, bottom panel, etc.) when a plurality of spout-equipped pouches 10 are arranged side by side in a case 90 as shown in Fig. 4.

As shown in Figures 2 and 3, the inner support member 70 is formed as a rectangular (or approximately rectangular) flexible resin film having a heat-sealed layer on at least one side thereof, and is arranged within the pouch body 20 (content liquid storage section 21) in a state where it is folded in half at a film folding section 70a that extends linearly along the vertical direction (the longitudinal direction of the inner support member 70) so that the heat-sealed layer faces outward.
As shown in FIG. 2, the content liquid storage section 21 has a first storage area 21a and a second storage area 21b separated by an inner support member 70, and the spout 60 is attached at a position communicating with the first storage area 21a.
As shown in FIG. 2, the inner support member 70 is disposed in a state in which (the convex side of) the film folded portion 70a formed by folding the film in half faces the first accommodation area 21a.

As shown in FIG. 3, the inner support member 70 has a non-adhered portion 71 disposed in a non-adhered state within the pouch body 20, a pair of adhered portions 72 formed at positions sandwiching the non-adhered portion 71 (and the liquid content storage portion 21) in the front-back direction X and adhered to the inner surface of one of the pair of main body films 30 and the inner surface of the other of the pair of main body films 30, a top-side adhered portion 73 adhered to the pair of main body films 30 at the bag-making seal portion 23 on the top side of the spouted pouch 10, and a bottom-side adhered portion 74 adhered to the pair of main body films 30 at the bag-making seal portion 23 on the bottom side of the spouted pouch 10.

As shown in FIG. 2 , each of the fixed portions 72 is disposed with its heat-sealed layer facing the heat-sealed layer on the inner surface of the main film 30 , and is heat-sealed to the inner surface of the main film 30 .
As shown in FIG. 3, in this embodiment, each fixed portion 72 has a non-fixed portion side edge 72a that extends linearly in the up-down direction Z and is a boundary with the non-fixed portion 71.

The top side fixing portion 73 is folded in half so that its heat-sealed layer faces the heat-sealed layer of the main film 30 in the bag-making sealing section 23 on the top side of the spouted pouch 10, and is positioned between the main film 30 and heat-sealed to the main film 30.
In addition, the bottom side fixing portion 74 is folded in half so that its heat-sealed layer faces the heat-sealed layer of the main film 30 in the bag-making sealing section 23 on the bottom side of the spouted pouch 10, and is positioned between the main film 30 and heat-sealed to the main film 30.
The inner surfaces of the inner support member 70 in the folded state are also heat-welded to each other at the top-side fixing portion 73 and the bottom-side fixing portion 74. For example, the inner surfaces of the inner support member 70 can also be heat-welded to each other by providing a heat-welded layer on both sides of the inner support member 70 or by making the inner support member 70 a single film of a heat-welding material.

As shown in Figs. 2 and 3, the inner support member 70 is formed with a plurality of film penetrating portions 75 formed as holes penetrating the film in the thickness direction.
These film perforations 75 function as areas that allow the content liquid and gas such as air to flow between the first storage area 21a and the second storage area 21b.

As shown in FIG. 1, a through hole 24 is formed in the bag-making seal section 23 on the top side of the spouted pouch 10 at the location where the main film 30 and the inner support member 70 overlap. The through hole 24 functions as a handle hole that allows the user to hold the spouted pouch 10 with their hand or fingers.

In such a spouted pouch 10, when filled with the liquid contents (and unopened), as shown in FIG. 4, the liquid pressure of the liquid contents forms unevenness in each main film 30; specifically, a curved convex portion 36a is formed that bulges outward in the front-back direction X from the center in the horizontal direction Y of the spout side region 36 of each main film 30, a curved convex portion 37a is formed that bulges outward in the front-back direction X from the center in the horizontal direction Y of the non-spout side region 37 of each main film 30, and a curved concave portion 35a is formed that is recessed inward in the front-back direction X from the center near the adhesion line 35 of the main film 30.

Next, the pouched case 80 according to one embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

As shown in FIG. 4, the pouch case 80 includes a plurality of spouted pouches 10 and a case 90 made of cardboard or the like having a pouch storage section 91 for storing the plurality of spouted pouches 10 in a line.

In the pouch storage section 91, a number of unopened spouted pouches 10 filled with liquid contents are stored sideways in the pouch parallel direction D1 with the spouts 60 facing in the left-right direction D2 perpendicular to the pouch parallel direction D1, as shown in FIG. 4.

The specific pouch storage method (arrangement) of the spouted pouch 10 in the pouch storage section 91 is as follows.

First, as shown in FIG. 4, the spout-equipped pouches 10 are arranged in the pouch storage section 91 such that the orientations of the spouts 60 in the left-right direction D2 are opposite (alternate) between the spout-equipped pouches 10 adjacent to each other in the pouch parallel direction D1.

Furthermore, as shown in Figure 4, the multiple spout-equipped pouches 10 are arranged in the pouch storage section 91 so that the adhesion line 35 of one spout-equipped pouch 10 adjacent to the pouch parallel direction D1 (at least at the spout height position) and the spout side region 36 (near the center in the horizontal direction Y) of the other spout-equipped pouch 10 face each other in the pouch parallel direction D1.
In other words, as shown in Figure 4, multiple spout-equipped pouches 10 are arranged in the pouch storage section 91 so that a portion of the curved convex portion 36a formed in the spout side region 36 of one spout-equipped pouch 10 adjacent to the other spout-equipped pouch 10 in the pouch parallel direction D1 fits within the curved concave portion 35a formed near the adherend line 35 of the other spout-equipped pouch 10, and the curved convex portion 36a formed in the spout side region 36 of the other spout-equipped pouch 10 fits within the pouch parallel direction D1.

Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 4, the multiple spout-equipped pouches 10 are arranged in the case 90 such that a portion of the non-spout side region 37 of one spout-equipped pouch 10 adjacent in the pouch parallel direction D1 (at least at the spout height position) is positioned further outboard in the left-right direction D2 than the spout 60 (spout protruding portion 61) of the other spout-equipped pouch 10.

In the above description, it has been explained that all spouted pouches 10 placed in the case 90 are placed in the case 90 in the pouch storage method (arrangement mode) described above, but it is not necessary to arrange all spouted pouches 10 in the pouch storage method (arrangement mode) described above, and only a portion (multiple) of the spouted pouches 10 placed in the case 90 may be arranged in the pouch storage method (arrangement mode) described above.

In this way, by arranging spout-equipped pouches 10 within the pouch storage section 91, not only can the unevenness (curved concave portion 35a, curved convex portion 36a, curved convex portion 37a) formed in the main body film 30 be utilized to suppress relative movement between adjacent spout-equipped pouches 10 within the pouch storage section 91 in the left-right direction D2, but by configuring the pouch body 20 and spout 60 to have a dimensional relationship of Ws < W2 - W1/2, collision of the spout 60 with the inner wall of the case 90 can be suppressed.

In order to facilitate understanding of the technical content of the present invention, in FIG. 4, dimensions W1 and W2 are shown when the pouch body 20 is filled with the liquid content and the main body film 30 is curved. However, to be precise, dimensions W1 and W2 are the dimensions when the main body film 30 is stretched flat as shown in FIG. 3.

Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 3, if the dimension from the adherend line 35 to the connection point of the main body film 30 and the second side film 50 (specifically, the inner edge of the heat-sealed portion between the main body film 30 and the second side film 50) is defined as W2', it is more preferable to configure the pouch body 20 and the spout 60 to satisfy the dimensional relationship Ws<W2'-W1/2.
In this case, multiple spout-equipped pouches 10 are arranged within case 90, as shown in Figure 4, so that (at least a part of) the second side film 50 of one spout-equipped pouch 10 adjacent in the pouch parallel direction D1 (at least at the spout height position) is positioned further outboard in the left-right direction D2 than the spout 60 (spout protrusion 61) of the other spout-equipped pouch 10.

The size of the pouch storage section 91 may be set appropriately so as to maintain the arrangement of the spouted pouches 10 as described above. As shown in FIG. 4, it is preferable to set the size so that when the spouted pouches 10 are arranged as described above, there is no gap or only a small gap is formed between the inner wall of the pouch storage section 91 and the spouted pouches 10 in the pouch parallel direction D1 and the left-right direction D2.

Although the embodiments of the present invention have been described above in detail, the present invention is not limited to the above embodiments, and various design modifications can be made without departing from the invention described in the claims. In addition, the configurations of the above-mentioned embodiments and the modified examples described below may be combined in any manner to form a spouted pouch 10.

For example, the specific embodiment of each of the films 30 to 50 constituting the pouch body 20 may be a single heat-sealable layer or a heat-sealable layer with any layer laminated thereon, as long as the film has a heat-sealable layer on at least one side, such as an olefin-based film of low-density polyethylene or polypropylene, or a polyester-based film such as PET (polyethylene terephthalate). Any material may be used to form the laminate, and any desired layer may be formed by laminating known polyesters such as PET or PBT (polybutylene terephthalate), polypropylene, polyamide, polyethylene, aluminum foil, etc.
In addition, in the above-described embodiment, the pouch body 20 is described as being formed from four films 30, 40, and 50, but the specific aspects of the pouch body 20, such as the number of films that constitute the pouch body 20, are not limited to the above.
In addition, in the above-described embodiment, the pouch body 20 has been described as being formed as a so-called horizontal gusset-type pouch having gusset portions 22 formed on both side portions thereof, but the specific form of the pouch body 20 may be any form, such as a so-called bottom gusset-type pouch having one gusset portion 22, or a pouch having a total of three gusset portions 22 on both side portions and the bottom.
In the above embodiment, the side films 40, 50 are described as films for the gusset portions, but the main body film 30 may be configured as a film for the gusset portions.

In addition, in the above-described embodiment, the dimension W2 of the non-spout side region 37 is described as being set smaller than the dimension W1 of the spout side region 36, but the dimension W2 of the non-spout side region 37 may be set larger than or equal to the dimension W1 of the spout side region 36.

Furthermore, the specific number and arrangement of the inner support members 70 and the manner in which they are fixed to the films 30, 40, 50 may be any as long as they have a non-fixed portion 71 and a pair of fixed portions 72.
Furthermore, the top side fastening portion 73, the bottom side fastening portion 74, the film penetration portion 75 (or the through hole 24), etc. do not need to be provided on the inner support member 70.

In the above embodiment, the inner support member 70 is described as being configured as a resin film, but the specific form of the inner support member 70 may be any form as long as it has the non-fixed portion 71 and the pair of fixed portions 72. For example, the inner support member 70 may be formed in a string or band shape. The inner support member 70 is preferably formed from a material having flexibility (elasticity).
Furthermore, when the inner support member 70 is made of a resin film, the inner support member 70 may be formed from a resin film having a different structure from each of the films 30, 40, 50 that constitute the pouch body 20. However, from the standpoint of reducing the manufacturing cost of the spouted pouch 10, it is preferable to form the inner support member 70 from a resin film having the same structure as each of the films 30, 40, 50 that constitute the pouch body 20.
In the above embodiment, a single inner support member 70 is provided, but an additional inner support member may be provided in addition to the inner support member 70. The specific form of the additional inner support member may be any, such as one made of a resin film or one made of a string-like member, as long as it has a non-fixed portion disposed in a non-fixed state within the pouch body 20 and a pair of fixed portions formed at positions sandwiching the non-fixed portion (and the content liquid accommodating portion 21) and fixed to the inner surface of the pouch body 20.
Furthermore, the method of fastening the inner support member 70 to the pouch body 20 is not limited to the above-mentioned thermal welding, and any method such as adhesion using an adhesive may be used.

In addition, although terms indicating up and down such as "top," "bottom," and "side" are used in this specification, these terms do not limit the orientation of the spouted pouch 10 when it is displayed or transported. For example, the spouted pouch 10 may be placed on a placement surface with its side or top facing down when it is displayed or transported.

In addition, as shown in FIG. 5, the case 90 may be formed with support parts 92 that restrict (hold) the movement of the spout-equipped pouch 10 (particularly the spout 60) arranged in the pouch storage part 91. These support parts 92 are formed in contact with or continuous with the top plate and bottom plate (not shown) of the case 90 (i.e., the top plate arranged on the front side of the paper surface of the frame part of the case 90 shown in FIG. 5 and the bottom plate arranged on the rear side of the paper surface). As a result, the support parts 92 also function as pillars that receive loads in the vertical direction (particularly the weight of the pouch-containing case 80 above in the vertical direction) when the pouch-containing cases 80 are stacked vertically with the pouch-containing cases 80 facing such that the direction perpendicular to the pouch parallel direction D1 and the left-right direction D2 (the direction perpendicular to the paper surface of FIG. 5) coincides with the vertical direction.
