前記リモコンに備えられた人検知手段と、
前記人検知手段の検出結果に基づいて浴室に人がいるか否かを判定する在室判定手段と、
給湯栓または浴槽への湯水の流れの有無を検出する流量センサと、
前記流量センサを流れる湯水の流量の調整をする弁と、
前記弁の固着防止のために前記弁を駆動する固着防止動作の制御を行う制御装置とを設けた給湯装置において、
深夜時間帯に、前記制御装置は、前記在室判定手段で浴室内に人がいないと判定した場合、かつ、前記流量センサで前記湯水の流れが検出されない場合、前記固着防止動作を行うようにしたことを特徴とする給湯装置。
