外層5を構成するゴムとしては、上記の圧縮強度を有する限り限定されないが、エチレンプロピレンジエンゴム(EPDM)、ウレタンゴム、ニトリルブタジエンゴムなどが挙げられる。なかでもEPDMが好ましい。

前記改修雨水排水口構造は、改修ドレン部材の第4の筒状部に嵌め込まれた雨水排水口改修用部材を含み、雨水排水口改修用部材は、第5の筒状部と第5の筒状部の一端外周から半径方向外方に突設された第5のフランジ部とを有し、第5の筒状部は樹脂または金属からなり、第5の筒状部の外径は改修ドレン部材の第4の筒状部の内径より大きく、雨水排水口改修用部材の第5の筒状部は改修ドレン部材の第4の筒状部よりも硬く、雨水排水口改修用部材は改修ドレン部材の第4の筒状部を既存ドレン部材の第1の筒状部に圧接するように機能している、改修雨水排水口構造。

The renovated storm drain structure includes a storm drain renovation member fitted into the fourth cylindrical portion of the renovation drain member, the storm drain renovation member having a fifth cylindrical portion and a fifth flange portion protruding radially outward from an outer periphery of one end of the fifth cylindrical portion, the fifth cylindrical portion being made of resin or metal, the outer diameter of the fifth cylindrical portion being larger than the inner diameter of the fourth cylindrical portion of the renovation drain member, the fifth cylindrical portion of the storm drain renovation member being harder than the fourth cylindrical portion of the renovation drain member, and the storm drain renovation member functions to press the fourth cylindrical portion of the renovation drain member against the first cylindrical portion of the existing drain member.
