Description

The present invention relates to a packaging box.

One type of cardboard packaging box that displays products while they are still inside is one that displays the box with an inclined bottom plate (see, for example, Patent Document 1). When this type of packaging box is displayed in a storefront, the left and right side walls are cut diagonally, the bottom and front walls are separated from the top and rear walls, and the rear wall is folded up to form a support leg that supports the rear end of the bottom wall from below. In this case, the top wall is erected behind the bottom wall, which is supported at an angle.

In the conventional packaging boxes mentioned above, the rear wall is folded up to serve as a support leg, so when the product is presented, there is no rear wall behind the bottom wall. This reduces the strength of the lower storage box that supports the product, making the storage box prone to deformation. There is also a risk that the product may fall out the rear of the storage box.

The present invention aims to solve the above problems and provide a packaging box that can prevent the contents from falling out and ensures sufficient strength of the box.

In order to solve the above problems, the present invention provides a packaging box having an inner box serving as a storage box with an open top and a lid member covering the upper opening of the inner box. The inner box has a cylindrical first body portion having first left and right side walls, a first front wall, and a first rear wall, and a bottom plate provided at the lower opening of the first body portion. According to the packaging box of the present invention, since the storage box has a cylindrical body, the strength of the storage box is not reduced and the strength can be sufficiently secured even when the box is in an exhibition state. In addition, since the stored items are surrounded by the body, they will not fall out. Furthermore, the inner box can be tilted at a suitable angle.

In the packaging box of the present invention, it is preferable that the lid member has a box shape that covers the inner box from above. With this configuration, the strength of the lid member is also increased.

The packaging box of the present invention can prevent the contents from falling out and ensure sufficient strength of the box.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS An embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
In the following description, the front, rear, left and right directions are set for the convenience of describing the packaging box of each embodiment, and do not limit the configuration or usage state of the packaging box.
In the description of each embodiment, the same components are denoted by the same reference numerals, and duplicate descriptions will be omitted.

As shown in Figures 1 and 2, the packaging box 1 of this embodiment has an inner box 2 which is a tray-shaped storage box with an open top, and an outer box (lid member) 3 which covers the upper opening of the inner box 2.
The inner box 2 includes a cylindrical body 15 consisting of a left side wall 11, a right side wall 12, a front wall 13, and a rear wall 14, and a bottom plate 16 provided at a lower opening of the body 15. The inner box 2 stores flat contents such as rice crackers, which are stacked in the front-to-rear direction in an upright state.
The outer box 3 is a part that serves as a lid for the inner box 2, and is box-shaped and covers the inner box 2 from above. The outer box 3 includes a body 34 that is U-shaped in plan view and is made up of a left side wall 31, a right side wall 32, and a front wall 33, and a top plate 35 provided at an upper opening of the body 34. The outer box 3 is connected to the inner box 2 via a connecting plate 51 that is connected to the rear end of the bottom plate 16 of the inner box 2.

As shown in Fig. 3, the packaging box 1 is formed by mountain-folding or valley-folding a blank sheet S cut out from a cardboard sheet at each fold line. The blank sheet S shown in Fig. 3 is arranged so that the inner side is visible. In Fig. 3, the sheets constituting the inner box 2 are shown on the lower side, and the sheets constituting the outer box 3 are shown on the upper side.
The fold lines of the blank sheet S are creases (pressed creases) formed by linearly pressing the surface of the blank sheet S. Note that intermittent cuts may be formed in the creases. In this way, it becomes easier to fold the blank sheet S at the fold lines.
Alternatively, the folded line may be formed by forming a half-cut slit only on the surface of the sheet or a slit penetrating the sheet in an intermittent linear fashion.

The bottom plate 16 is formed in a rectangular shape and is located in the center of the sheets that make up the inner box 2. The left side wall (left side wall) 11 is connected to the left edge of the bottom plate 16 via a fold line. The front upper end of the left side wall 11 is chamfered to form an inclined portion 17.

A first front wall piece 13a is connected to the front edge of the left side wall 11 via a fold line. The first front wall piece 13a is one of the multiple plate portions that make up the front wall 13 of the inner box 2, and is formed in a rectangular shape. The first front wall piece 13a has the same height dimension as the height dimension of the front edge of the left side wall 11. A first rear wall piece 14a is connected to the rear edge of the left side wall 11 via a fold line. The first rear wall piece 14a is one of the two plate parts constituting the rear wall 14, and is formed in a rectangular shape. The first rear wall piece 14a has the same height dimension as the height dimension of the rear edge of the left side wall 11. The first rear wall piece 14a is bent from the rear edge of the left side wall 11 to the right side. The length of the first rear wall piece 14a protruding to the right is longer than half the left-right width dimension of the rear wall 14. The tip of the first rear wall piece 14a protruding to the right (right end) overlaps with the tip of the second rear wall piece 14b described later. The right end of the first rear wall piece 14a is formed with a locking piece 18 for locking with the second rear wall piece 14b. The locking piece 18 is formed in a substantially trapezoidal shape, and protrusions protruding outward are formed at the lower ends of both oblique sides. The locking piece 18 is cut and raised along the top edge, and is pushed into a locking hole 19 formed at the tip of the second rear wall piece 14b, which will be described later.

The right side wall (right side wall) 12 is connected to the right edge of the bottom plate 16 via a fold line. The front upper end of the right side wall 12 is chamfered to form an inclined portion 17. The right side wall 12 has a symmetrical shape to the left side wall 11.

A second front wall piece 13b is connected to the front edge of the right side wall 12 via a fold line. The length of the second front wall piece 13b that protrudes to the right (left-right width dimension) is shorter than half the left-right width dimension of the front wall 13. The second front wall piece 13b and the first front wall piece 13a are arranged on the same plane with a gap between them.

A second rear wall piece 14b is connected to the rear edge of the right side wall 12 via a fold line. The second rear wall piece 14b is one of the two plate parts constituting the rear wall 14, and is formed in a rectangular shape similar to the first rear wall piece 14a. The second rear wall piece 14b has the same height dimension as the height dimension of the rear edge of the right side wall 12. The second rear wall piece 14b is bent from the rear edge of the right side wall 12 toward the left. The left-side overhanging length of the second rear wall piece 14b is longer than half the left-right width dimension of the rear wall 14. The left-side overhanging tip (left end) of the second rear wall piece 14b overlaps with the tip (right end) of the first rear wall piece 14a. The left end of the second rear wall piece 14b is formed with an engagement hole 19 for engaging with the first rear wall piece 14a. The engagement hole 19 is formed in a trapezoid shape without the protrusion of the engagement piece 18. When the locking piece 18 is pushed into the locking hole 19, the protrusions of the locking piece 18 lock onto both sides of the lower edge of the locking hole 19.

The third front wall piece 13c is connected to the front edge of the bottom plate 16 via a fold line. The third front wall piece 13c is one of the multiple plate parts that make up the front wall 13 and is formed in a rectangular shape. The fold line between the front edge of the bottom plate 16 and the third front wall piece 13c is offset forward by the thickness of the cardboard from the fold line between the front edge of the left side wall 11 and the first front wall piece 13a (and the fold line between the front edge of the right side wall 12 and the second front wall piece 13b). The third front wall piece 13c rises from the front edge of the lower bottom plate 16 and covers the front of the first front wall piece 13a and the second front wall piece 13b. The fourth front wall piece 13d is connected to the upper edge of the third front wall piece 13c via a fold line, a fold margin 20, and a fold line. The fourth front wall piece 13d is one of the multiple plate parts that make up the front wall 13. The fold margin 20 has a front-to-rear length equivalent to the thickness of the cardboard. The fourth front wall piece 13d hangs down from the rear edge of the fold 20 that connects to the upper edge of the third front wall piece 13c, covering the rear surfaces of the first front wall piece 13a and the second front wall piece 13b. The lower ends of the vertical sides on both the left and right sides of the fourth front wall piece 13d are formed with protrusions that protrude outward. The fourth front wall piece 13d is fixed in a hanging state by the left and right protrusions pushing against the inner surfaces of the left side wall 11 and the right side wall 12, respectively.

As described above, the front wall 13 is formed by sandwiching the first front wall piece 13a and the second front wall piece 13b, which are bent inward from the left and right, between the third front wall piece 13c and the fourth front wall piece 13d from the front and back. The height dimension of the front wall 13 is smaller than the height dimensions of the rear ends of the left and right side walls 11, 12, and the upper front surface of the inner box 2 is open, making it easy to see the contents inside.

A connecting plate 51 is connected to the rear edge of the bottom plate 16 via a fold line. The connecting plate 51 is a plate that connects the inner box 2 and the outer box 3. The connecting plate 51 is formed in a rectangular shape of the same size as the rear wall 14. In the transport state in which the outer box 3 covers the upper opening of the inner box 2, the connecting plate 51 rises from the rear edge of the lower bottom plate 16 and overlaps with the rear wall 14 so as to cover the rear surfaces of the first rear wall piece 14a and the second rear wall piece 14b. A fold line extending to the right is formed in the middle of the height direction of the connecting plate 51.

The top plate 35 of the outer box 3 is connected to the upper edge of the connecting plate 51 via a fold line. The top plate 35 is formed in a rectangular shape and is located in the center of the sheets that make up the outer box 3. The left side wall (left side wall) 31 is connected to the left edge of the top plate 35 via a fold line. The front and rear lower ends of the left side wall 31 are chamfered to form an arc shape.

The right side wall (right side wall) 32 is connected to the right edge of the top plate 35 via a fold line. The front and rear lower ends of the right side wall 32 are chamfered to form an arc shape. The right side wall 32 has a symmetrical shape to the left side wall 31.

A second front wall piece 33b for the outer box 3 is connected to the front edge of the right side wall 32 via a fold line. The second front wall piece 33b is one of the multiple plate parts that make up the front wall 33 for the outer box 3, and is formed in a rectangular shape similar to the first front wall piece 33a. The height dimension of the second front wall piece 13b is the height dimension of the front edge of the right side wall 32 minus the height dimension of the chamfered part. The second front wall piece 33b is bent from the front edge of the right side wall 32 toward the left. The protruding length to the right of the second front wall piece 33b (left-right width dimension) is shorter than half the left-right width dimension of the front wall 33. The second front wall piece 33b and the first front wall piece 33a are arranged on the same plane with a gap between them.

A third front wall piece 33c for the outer box 3 is connected to the front edge of the top plate 35 via a fold line. The third front wall piece 33c is one of the multiple plate parts constituting the front wall 33 of the outer box 3, and is formed in a rectangular shape. The fold line between the front edge of the top plate 35 and the third front wall piece 33c is offset forward by the thickness of the cardboard from the fold line between the front edge of the left side wall 31 and the first front wall piece 33a (and the fold line between the front edge of the right side wall 32 and the second front wall piece 33b). The third front wall piece 33c hangs down from the front edge of the lower top plate 35 to cover the front of the first front wall piece 33a and the second front wall piece 33b. A fourth front wall piece 33d is connected to the lower edge of the third front wall piece 33c via a fold line, a fold margin 36, and a fold line. The fourth front wall piece 33d is one of the multiple plate parts constituting the front wall 33 of the outer box 3. The fold margin 36 has a front-to-rear length equal to the thickness of the cardboard. The fourth front wall piece 33d rises from the rear edge of the fold margin 36 that connects to the lower edge of the third front wall piece 33c and covers the rear surfaces of the first front wall piece 33a and the second front wall piece 33b. As described above, the front wall 33 of the outer box 3 is formed by sandwiching the first front wall piece 33a and the second front wall piece 33b, which are bent inward from the left and right side walls 31, 32, between the third front wall piece 33c and the fourth front wall piece 33d from the front and rear. The height dimension of the front wall 33 is smaller than the height dimensions of the left and right side walls 31, 32, and the lower part of the front wall 33 is open. Next, we will explain the display state in which the packaging box 1 of this embodiment is used to display the items stored in the inner box 2. There are two display states: a first display state in which the outer box 3 is upright behind the inner box 2, and a second display state in which the outer box 3 is placed below the inner box 2.

In the first display state, as shown in FIG. 4, the outer box 3 is removed from the inner box 2 and the outer box 3 is erected behind the inner box 2. The outer box 3 is erected so that the rear edge of the left side wall 31 and the rear edge of the right side wall 32 are on the lower side. The connecting plate 51 is bent into a V shape at the fold line in the middle to form a support leg 52 that supports the rear end of the inner box 2 from the lower side. The support leg 52 is located below the rear end of the inner box 2 with the V shape facing sideways and open toward the rear. As a result, the inner box 2 is in an inclined state with the rear end raised, making it easier to see the contents and to take them out. Furthermore, the front wall 13 of the inner box 2 is low in height, and the left side wall 11 and the right side wall 12 have inclined parts 17 formed in the front parts, making it even easier to see the contents from the front and sides.

In addition, in the first regular state, the outer box 3 is upright behind the inner box 2, so that the outer box 3 can be used as a place to install a display panel. The display panel is, for example, a panel on which advertisements for the stored items are written. By attaching such a display panel to the left and right side walls 31, 32 or the front wall 33 of the outer box 3, the appeal of the stored items can be enhanced.

In the second display state, as shown in FIG. 5, the outer box 3 is removed from the inner box 2 and placed below the inner box 2. The outer box 3 is placed so that the lower edge of the left side wall 31 and the lower edge of the right side wall 32 are on the lower side. The connecting plate 51 is folded into a V shape at the fold line in the middle to form a support leg 52 that supports the rear end of the inner box 2 from the lower side. The support leg 52 is located between the rear end of the inner box 2 and the rear end of the outer box 3 with the V shape facing sideways and open toward the rear. As a result, the inner box 2 is in an inclined state with the rear end raised, making it easier to see the contents and to take them out. Furthermore, the front wall 13 of the inner box 2 is low in height, and the front parts of the left side wall 11 and the right side wall 12 are formed with inclined parts 17, making it even easier to see the contents from the front and sides.

In addition, in the second display state, the inner box 2 is placed on top of the outer box 3. This allows the stored items to be placed higher. This makes the stored items stand out, enhancing their appeal.

According to the packaging box 1 of this embodiment, even in the display state where the connecting plate 51 located at the rear of the inner box 2 is folded downward, the inner box 2 serving as a storage box has a cylindrical body 15, so the strength of the inner box 2 does not decrease and can be sufficiently ensured. In addition, a rear wall 14 is always present at the rear end of the inner box 2. Therefore, the contents are surrounded by the body, preventing them from falling.

The connecting plate 51 also has a fold line extending in the left-right direction, which supports the rear end of the bottom plate 16 in the folded state, allowing the inner box 2 to be tilted at a suitable angle. This makes it easier to see the contents inside.

Furthermore, in the packaging box 1 of this embodiment, in the transport state shown in FIG. 1, the outer box 3 can cover the upper opening of the inner box 2 to form a lid, so the contents can be transported in a stable state. In addition, the connecting plate 51 overlaps the rear of the rear wall 14 to form a double wall, which increases the strength of the packaging box 1 and also improves its impact resistance.

Although the embodiment of the present invention has been described above, the present invention is not limited to the above embodiment and can be modified as appropriate without departing from the spirit of the present invention. In the packaging box 1 of the above embodiment, linear inclined portions 17 are formed at the front ends of the left side wall 11 and the right side wall 12, but the shape and angle of the inclined portions 17 are not limited and may be set appropriately taking into consideration the ease of removing the contents and the strength of the front wall 13, etc.

In the second display state of the embodiment, the inner box 2 is placed on the outer box 3, but a fixing part may be formed to fix the inner box 2 to the outer box 3. By providing a fixing part, the strength of the packaging box can be further increased and the packaging box can be displayed in a stable state.
Furthermore, in the above embodiment, a box-shaped outer box 3 is provided as a lid member covering the inner box 2, but it is not limited to being box-shaped and may simply be a lid covering the upper opening of the inner box 2.

In addition, in the above embodiment, one fold line is formed on the connecting plate 51, and the connecting plate 51 is bent into a V shape, but this is not limited to this. For example, three fold lines may be provided and the connecting plate may be bent into a W shape. In this way, the inclination angle of the inner box 2 can be increased.
