Description

The present invention relates to a water stop device.

Recently, there have been frequent instances of short-term torrential rains, known as "guerilla downpours," which have caused rivers to overflow in a short period of time and rainwater to gush out of sewerage facilities, resulting in damage from flooding under and above the floor level.

Traditionally, during flooding such as river overflows, sandbags were piled up around openings of buildings and underground entrances to create watertight walls and prevent water from seeping inside the buildings. However, in urban areas, the soil to put in the sandbags and tools such as shovels were not prepared, making it difficult to quickly prepare sandbags. In addition, because sandbags are very heavy, stacking them requires a great deal of time and effort. Furthermore, because flooding caused by torrential rain occurs in a short period of time, if it took time to prepare and stack sandbags, there was a risk that water would flood in before the watertight walls could be constructed.

Patent documents 1 to 3 disclose conventional technologies related to water stop devices for preventing water intrusion.

Patent document 1 discloses a water stop device that is generally L-shaped and has a bottom plate with a water-absorbing member on the back side and a rising plate rising from the rear end of the bottom plate, and has a connecting part on at least one of the left and right ends of the water stop device for connecting the water stop devices to the left and right.

Patent Document 2 discloses a water-stopping device that includes a bottom water-stopping surface material that is arranged along the installation surface, and a wall water-stopping surface material that is installed in a direction approximately perpendicular to the bottom water-stopping surface material, and a mat-shaped water-absorbing member that has the property of absorbing water by capillary action is attached to the surface of the bottom water-stopping surface material that faces the installation surface, and the water-absorbing member is continuously arranged in a U-shape on the front and side sides of the surface of the bottom water-stopping surface material that faces the installation surface.

Patent document 3 discloses a water-stopping device made of resin and formed with an L-shaped cross section.

Registered Design No. 1664078

However, in the techniques disclosed in Patent Documents 1 to 3, a resin water stop device is used. This means that the water stop device is prone to deformation due to deterioration of the resin, etc., and there is a risk of water leakage from the deformed water stop device.

In addition, in the technology disclosed in Patent Documents 2 and 3, a triangular or other reinforcing portion is provided that spans from the bottom plate to the rising plate, but since it is made of resin, the reinforcing portion itself needs to be relatively large in size in order to reinforce the water-stopping device. On the other hand, if the water-stopping devices of Patent Documents 2 and 3 are made from steel plate, providing such a relatively large reinforcing portion will cause deformation such as wrinkles in the steel plate. For this reason, it is not possible to ensure a predetermined water-stopping performance, and such a relatively large reinforcing portion cannot be applied to water-stopping devices formed from steel plate. Therefore, there is a strong demand for a water-stopping device that can improve water-stopping performance.

Therefore, the present invention was devised in consideration of the above-mentioned circumstances, and its purpose is to provide a water-stopping device that can improve water-stopping performance.

The tip 62 of the upper side Z1 of the first protrusion 6 has a tapered portion 62a that is tapered.

The water-stopping member 8 is a well-known water-stopping member such as Eptsealer. The water-stopping member 8 is attached to the front end of the lower surface of the bottom plate portion 3 and to the back side B of the receiving portion 55.

The water-stopping member 8 attached to the bottom plate portion 3 is disposed at the front end of the bottom plate portion 3, extending in the left-right direction Y. The water-stopping member 8 attached to the receiving portion 55 is disposed along the receiving portion 55, with an L-shaped cross section when viewed from the left-right direction Y.

When connecting one water stop device 1 to another water stop device 1 in the left-right direction Y, the first connecting portion 51 of the first water stop device 1 is aligned with the second connecting portion 54 of the other water stop device 1, as shown in FIG. 7(a). Then, the second connecting portion 54 of the other water stop device 1 is overlapped with the first connecting portion 51 of the first water stop device 1 from the front side A toward the back side B, as shown in FIG. 7(b).

As a result, the water-stopping member 8 attached to the receiving portion 55 of the other water-stopping device 1 comes into contact with the folded portion 52 of the first water-stopping device 1. At this time, the bottom plate portion 3 of the first water-stopping device 1 and the bottom plate portion 3 of the other water-stopping device 1 are flush with each other. Although not shown in the figure, the rising plate portion 4 of the first water-stopping device 1 and the rising plate portion 4 of the other water-stopping device 1 are also flush with each other.

In addition, by overlapping the second connecting portion 54 of the other water stop device 1 with the first connecting portion 51 of the first water stop device 1 from the front side A to the back side B, the first fitting portion 53 of the first water stop device 1 is sandwiched and fitted between the fourth plate portion 56a and the sixth plate portion 56c of the second fitting portion 56 of the other water stop device 1. At this time, the fourth plate portion 56a and the sixth plate portion 56c are spread apart, and the bending angle θ6' of the sixth plate portion 56c after the connection becomes larger than the bending angle θ6 of the sixth plate portion 56c before the connection.

According to this embodiment, the water stop device 1 for preventing water from entering the device includes a main body 2 integrally molded from a single steel plate 10. The main body 2 has a bottom plate 3 arranged along the installation surface, a rising plate 4 rising from the rear end of the bottom plate 3, a connecting portion 5 at the end in the left-right direction Y for connecting to another water stop device 1 adjacent in the left-right direction Y, and a first protrusion 6 arranged across the bottom plate 3 and the rising plate 4 and formed as a protrusion along the bottom plate 3 and the rising plate 4.

According to this embodiment, the main body 2 is integrally molded from a single steel plate 10. This makes it easy to manufacture the water stop device 1. In addition, the strength required for the water stop device 1 can be ensured.

In addition, according to this embodiment, the main body 2 can be reinforced by the first protrusion 6. Therefore, when water tries to enter the water-stopping device 1, deformation is suppressed, so water can be prevented from entering and water-stopping performance can be improved.

In addition, according to this embodiment, the first protrusion 6 is formed as a protrusion along the bottom plate 3 and the rising plate 4, so that the formation of the first protrusion 6 can suppress deformation such as wrinkles that occur in the bottom plate 3 and the rising plate 4. This suppresses water leakage from the water stop device 1, and makes it possible to improve the water stop performance of the water stop device 1.

In addition, according to this embodiment, the first protrusion 6 is formed as a protrusion along the bottom plate 3 and the rising plate 4, so when reinforcing the main body 2, it is not necessary to increase the protruding height D1 of the first protrusion 6 as in the conventional case. This makes it possible to improve portability.

In addition, according to this embodiment, the overall weight of the water stop device 1 can be reduced to, for example, about 6 kg. This makes it easier to transport.

In addition, according to this embodiment, as shown in FIG. 8, multiple water stop devices 1 can be stacked. This reduces the space required to store multiple water stop devices 1. In addition, multiple water stop devices 1 can be transported in a stacked state.

According to this embodiment, the main body 2 is disposed across the bottom plate 3 and the rising plate 4, and further has a second ridge 7 formed as a ridge along the bottom plate 3 and the rising plate 4, and the second ridge 7 protrudes smaller than the first ridge 6. As a result, deformation such as wrinkles that occurs in the bottom plate 3 and the rising plate 4 due to the formation of the first ridge 6 can be further suppressed by the second ridge 7, which is smaller than the first ridge 6. This suppresses water leakage from the water stop device 1, and makes it possible to further improve the water stoppage of the water stop device 1.

According to this embodiment, the tip 61 of the first protrusion 6 on the bottom plate 3 is disposed away from the front end of the bottom plate 3 and has a tapered portion 61a formed in a tapered shape. This makes the shape of the portion that changes from the bottom plate 3 to the first protrusion 6 gentler, and it is possible to further suppress deformation such as wrinkles that occurs in the bottom plate 3 due to the formation of the first protrusion 6. This makes it possible to suppress water leakage from the water stop device 1 and further improve the water stop performance of the water stop device 1.

In addition, according to this embodiment, the tip 61 of the first protrusion 6 on the bottom plate 3 is positioned away from the front end of the bottom plate 3, so that the flat portion 31 of the bottom plate 3 can suppress water leakage from the underside of the bottom plate 3. This makes it possible to further improve the water stopping ability of the water stopping device 1.

According to this embodiment, the connecting portion 5 has a first connecting portion 51 formed at one end in the left-right direction and a second connecting portion 54 formed at the other end in the left-right direction, the first connecting portion 51 has a first fitting portion 53 formed by curving the steel plate 10 on the front side A, and the second connecting portion 54 has a second fitting portion 56 formed in a shape into which the first fitting portion 53 of another water stop device adjacent in the left-right direction is fitted. As a result, the first fitting portion 53 and the second fitting portion 56 can be fitted together by overlapping the second fitting portion 56 with the first fitting portion 53 from the front side A toward the back side B. Therefore, the work of fitting them together can be easily performed, and the work of connecting multiple water stop devices 1 can be performed in a short time.

According to this embodiment, the first fitting portion 53 is formed by curving the steel plate 10 toward the front side A. This allows the curved first fitting portion 53 and the second fitting portion 56 to be smoothly fitted together.

According to this embodiment, the second fitting portion 56 has a fourth plate portion 56a formed by bending the steel plate 10 toward the front side A, a fifth plate portion 56b bent from the fourth plate portion 56a, and a sixth plate portion 56c bent from the fifth plate portion 56b toward the fourth plate portion 56a. As a result, the first fitting portion 53 is sandwiched and fitted between the fourth plate portion 56a and the sixth plate portion 56c. This makes it possible to more firmly fit the first fitting portion 53 and the second fitting portion 56.

According to this embodiment, the second connecting part 54 has a receiving part 55 formed by protruding the steel plate 10 on the front side A, and the water-stopping member 8 is attached to the back side B of the receiving part 55. This makes it possible to prevent water leakage from the connecting part between the first connecting part 51 and the second connecting part 54.

According to this embodiment, a water-stopping member 8 is attached to the front end of the underside of the bottom plate portion 3. This makes it possible to prevent water leakage from the underside of the bottom plate portion 3.
