Description

The present invention relates to a packaging container having a structure for preventing unauthorized opening of a lid attached to a container body, a method for using the packaging container, and a method for opening the packaging container.

Conventionally, packaging containers made of thermoplastic resin for food, such as fresh produce and prepared foods sold in supermarkets and convenience stores, have been equipped with a container body that holds the contents and a lid that is attached to the container body to close the opening.

In recent years, with the spread of out-packing and delivery services, in which food is packaged in containers at factories outside retail stores such as supermarkets, transported to retail stores, and sold at the retail stores, there is a tendency for an unspecified number of people, such as delivery personnel, to be involved in the process between the packaging and the final consumer. In these circumstances, in addition to the quality of the product, such as freshness and taste, the final consumer needs to be able to visually confirm that the product has not been opened after packaging.

In this situation, conventional containers were not sufficient to prevent unauthorized opening or tampering with the lid, and product safety could not be fully ensured, so consideration was given to a packaging container structure that would leave evidence that the lid had been opened on the container itself.

For example, Patent Documents 1 and 2 disclose a packaging container structure in which a first protrusion is provided on the container body and a second protrusion is provided on the lid, a first recess and a perforation line surrounding it are formed on the first protrusion, and a second recess is formed on the second protrusion; when the lid is closed, the first recess and the second recess fit together, and when the lid is opened, the lid cannot be removed from the container body unless the perforation line is cut and the first recess is separated from the first protrusion, making it easy to tell whether the container has been opened or not.

Utility Model Registration No. 3201142

However, in Patent Documents 1 and 2, the second protrusion on the lid is exposed, so not only is there a risk that the lid may be tampered with and opened via the second protrusion so as not to cut the perforation line, but it is also difficult to tell at a glance whether the above-mentioned structure is present or not, so it is difficult to expect any deterrent effect against tampering, and if malicious intent takes precedence, the lid will be opened, so it cannot be said with certainty that the safety of the product is ensured.

In other words, to ensure the safety of a product, it is not enough to simply identify whether the lid has been opened or not; it is necessary to prevent unauthorized opening. To achieve this, the part of the lid that could trigger the opening must at least be difficult to touch, and preferably not be exposed to the outside. On the other hand, from a user-friendly perspective, if legitimate consumers can open the lid easily and without hesitation, this will increase the value of the product. The inventors came to this conclusion after much ingenuity.

Therefore, the object of the present invention is to provide a packaging container which can be expected to have a deterrent effect against unauthorized opening of the lid, which anyone can understand, and which allows the lid to be easily attached and detached from the container body, as well as to provide a method of using and opening such a packaging container .

The lid is preferably made of OPS .

It is desirable that the lid has an outer end including a knob, and the container body has an outer wall formed outside the storage section and facing the outer end of the lid excluding the knob when the lid is closed.

It is desirable that the outer end of the lid extends outward from the lid fitting portion located outside the cover portion, and that the outer wall of the main body extends upward from the main body fitting portion located above the storage portion.

It is desirable for the breaking portion to fold back around the fastening portion on one side and reach the hinge.

The knob piece is made up of two tongue pieces, and it is desirable that the fixing portion on the base end piece is formed so as to be located between the two when the lid is closed.

It is desirable that the pair of fastening parts protrude downward when fastened.

It is desirable that the folded piece has a folded tip piece at a position opposite the hinge, and the cover part has a cover recess that accommodates the folded tip piece when folded.

The method of using the packaging container of the present invention is characterized by including the steps of: storing the contents in the storage section of the container body; arranging and fitting the knob piece of the lid to the base end piece of the container body with respect to the container body containing the contents; folding back the fold back piece of the container body to cover the knob piece with the fold back piece and hide the end of the knob piece; and fastening the fastening parts together.

The method of opening a packaging container containing packed contents using the method of using a packaging container according to the present invention is characterized by including at least a step of detaching the fixed portion from the flaps, and a step of separating the flaps from the base end piece to expose the handle piece.

<Specifications of container body 1, such as forming method, material, dimensions, etc.>
The container body 1 may be formed by thermoforming a synthetic resin sheet, for example, by sheet molding such as vacuum molding, hot plate pressure molding, vacuum pressure molding, double-sided vacuum molding, etc. The synthetic resin sheet may be formed of a single-layer or multi-layer sheet made of, for example, a polyester-based resin such as polyethylene terephthalate, an olefin-based resin such as polyethylene or polypropylene, or a polystyrene-based resin, and may be colored, colorless, transparent, or opaque. Furthermore, the front and/or back surface of the synthetic resin sheet may be covered with a synthetic resin film, and if the front surface is covered, printing may be performed. The synthetic resin sheet may be made of a foamed resin or a non-foamed resin, but in the present invention, the desired effect is more likely to be obtained with a non-foamed resin. There is no particular limit to the thickness of the synthetic resin sheet, but in the case of a non-foamed resin, it may be 0.25 to 1 mm, preferably 0.3 to 0.8 mm, and more preferably 0.35 to 0.6 mm. In the case of a low-foamed resin with an expansion ratio of 1.5 to 3 times, it may be 0.5 to 3 mm, preferably 1 to 2 mm. In the case of a highly expanded resin having an expansion ratio of 5 to 15 times, the thickness may be 1.5 to 5 mm, preferably 2 to 4 mm, and more preferably 2.5 to 3.5 mm. The expansion ratio is calculated by measuring the specific volume (unit: cc/g) of the foamed composition before expansion and the foamed sheet after expansion, and dividing the specific volume after expansion by the specific volume before expansion. There is no particular restriction on the size of the container body, but it may be, for example, 150 to 350 mm in width and 150 to 350 mm in depth.

Furthermore, the front and/or back surface of the synthetic resin sheet may be covered with a synthetic resin film, and if the front surface is covered, printing may be performed. The synthetic resin sheet may be made of foamed resin or non-foamed resin, but in the present invention, the desired effect is more likely to be obtained with a non-foamed resin. There is no particular limit to the thickness of the synthetic resin sheet, but in the case of a non-foamed resin, it may be 0.18 to 1 mm, preferably 0.23 to 0.75 mm, and more preferably 0.25 to 0.5 mm. If it is less than 3 mm, fingers may easily reach the lid outer end portion 25, which may reduce the airtightness, and if it is more than 8 mm, it may protrude too much and reduce the moldability.

<重畳片15>
<Overlapping piece 15>
2, the overlapping piece 15 faces outward from the storage section 1a so as to overlap with the knob piece 26 when the lid is closed, in other words, it is a planar portion located outside the storage section 1a and formed so that the knob piece 26 is placed thereon, and is also a portion that sandwiches the knob piece 26. In detail, it has a base end piece 15a that leads to the storage section 1a, a folded piece 15b that is continuous with the base end piece 15a, a hinge 15c located between the base end piece 15a and the folded piece 15b, and a pair of fixing portions 15d, 15e that are formed on the base end piece 15a and the folded piece 15b, respectively, with the hinge 15c sandwiched between them. Here, there is no particular limit to the size of the overlapping piece 15, but it may be, for example, 15 to 35 cm2 , and even better, 20 to 30 cm2 .

According to this configuration, at least the tip of the knob piece 26 is hidden by overlapping with the overlapping piece 15, and in detail, the knob piece 26 is hidden by being sandwiched between the base end piece 15a and the folded piece 15b. Therefore, unless the folded piece 15b is folded back to fix the pair of fixing parts 15d, 15e when the lid is closed, the knob piece 26 is not revealed and it is impossible to open the lid unless the fixing part 15e is detached and the folded piece 15b is folded back, so that it is possible to expect an effect of preventing unauthorized opening of the lid body 2 and easy identification of whether it has been opened or not. In addition, since a series of operations are required when opening, it is highly eye-catching for consumers, and it is also highly safe as long as no sharp parts are exposed even if the fixing part 15e is detached, so it is expected to be recognized as a user-friendly opening structure. In addition, since it is sufficient to mold the container body 1 with a material suitable for the fixing strength of the fixing parts 15d, 15e, it is expected to have the effect of making it easier to flexibly determine the specifications of the lid body 2, such as the material, rigidity, and strength.

Furthermore, the overlapping piece 15 has a breaking portion 15f formed to surround at least the fixed portion 15e on the folded-back piece 15b side. Specifically, the breaking portion 15f may surround the fixed portion 15e about halfway around the hinge 15c, or may surround the entire circumference in a circular shape. With this configuration, the fixed portion 15d can be easily separated from the folded-back piece 15b by breaking the breaking portion 15f, and since no sharp parts are exposed even when broken, safety is increased, and the specifications of the container body 1 can be easily determined using a material suitable for the breaking strength of the breaking portion 15f.

<基端片15a>
<Base end piece 15a>
2, the base end piece 15a indirectly communicates with the accommodation portion 1a via the main body fitting portion 13, but may communicate directly with the accommodation portion 1a without any separation. The base end piece 15a is formed at a position sandwiched between the circumferential ends of the main body outer wall portion 14 that is formed in a circumferential shape, in other words, formed at a portion where a part of the main body outer wall portion 14 is cut out, and the shape, area, and dimensions are not limited.

<Folded piece 15b>
As shown in Fig. 2, the folded piece 15b is formed integrally with the base piece 15a and continues outward from the outer edge of the base piece 15a, specifically, continues outward from the outer edge of the base piece 15a located on the opposite side from the storage section 1a, and includes a folded tip piece 15bt. The outer edge of the folded piece 15b is continuous with the outer end 14b of the main body outer wall. When the folded piece 15b is not folded, the folded piece 15b and the outer end 14b of the main body outer wall form the outermost end of the container body 1. The folded piece 15b has a triangular shape in a plan view, but the shape, area, and dimensions are not limited.

<ヒンジ15c>
<Hinge 15c>
As shown in Fig. 2, the hinge 15c is located at the outer edge of the base piece 15a, specifically, at the outer edge of the base piece 15a located on the opposite side to the storage section 1a, in other words, it is located so that the folded portion 15b is folded toward the storage section 1a. The hinge 15c is a part processed in the overlapping piece 15 after molding, and may be a perforation in which non-cut parts and cut parts are alternately formed, or a part that is thinner and easier to bend than the thickness of the base piece 15a and the folded piece 15b, or a member that connects the folded piece 15b molded separately to the base piece 15a, or a part where the base piece 15a and the folded piece 15b molded integrally are simply folded. The hinge 15c may or may not reach the outer end 14b of the main body outer wall.

<固着部15d,15e>
<Fixed portions 15d, 15e>
As shown in Fig. 2, the fastening parts 15d and 15e are substantially the same shape and size, and are snap-fit parts that protrude downward when the lid is closed and are fastened to each other. They may protrude upward to fit, but considering the effect on the opening operation of the lid body 2 and on carrying and stacking the packaging container, it is preferable that they protrude downward. The fastening parts 15d and 15e may be of a thermocompression type instead of a snap-fit type. The fastening parts 15d and 15e are disposed near the center of the base end piece 15a and the folded back piece 15d and equidistant from the hinge 15c, but may be disposed in accordance with the correlation with the knob piece 26. The fastening parts 15d and 15e may be detached from the base end piece 15a and the folded back piece 15b by destruction or deformation by a predetermined means other than separation by the breaking part 15f.

<破断部15f>
<Breakage portion 15f>
As shown in FIG. 2, breaking portion 15f surrounds fixed portion 15e on the folded piece 15b side and extends to hinge 15c. According to this configuration, breaking of breaking portion 15f allows folded piece 15b, excluding fixed portion 15e, to rotate freely about hinge 15c. Therefore, knob piece 26 can be exposed without cutting off folded piece 15b, which is expected to have the effect of eliminating the trouble of removing the scraps.

The breaking portion 15f is a perforation in which non-cut portions and cut portions are alternately formed, and surrounds only the fixed portion 15e. The breaking of the breaking portion 15f allows the folded piece 15b to rotate freely around the hinge 15c from the fixed state of the fixed portions 15d and 15e, but if both fixed portions 15d and 15e are surrounded, the broken portion 15f may be used to remove the fixed portions 15d and 15e while they are still in the fixed state, making the fixed portions 15d and 15e separable from the folded piece 15b and the base end piece 15a. The non-cut portion of the breaking portion 15f may be 1 to 5 mm, and the cut portion may be 10 to 50 mm. In order for the breaking portion 15f to break before the fixing portions 15d and 15e come apart, it is preferable that the breaking strength of the breaking portion 15f be smaller than the fitting strength of the fixing portions 15d and 15e.

The detailed structure of the lid 2 is explained below.

<Cover portion 2a>
As shown in Fig. 1, the area of the top surface 21 and the height of the lid side wall 22 may be any, and the amount of expansion of the cover 2a determined by these may be any, and the shape is not limited to a spherical dome shape or an angular box shape. The lid side wall 22 may have one or more predetermined steps or inwardly recessed reinforcing ribs (not shown) in the vertical or horizontal directions, or may be flush without them. The cover 2a has a cover recess 2b formed by cutting out a part of the top surface 21 and the lid side wall 22 so as to be recessed inward.

<Lid fitting portion 24>
2, the lid fitting portion 24 has a generally L-shaped cross section in the vertical direction, is formed circumferentially around the entire outer edge of the lid flange portion 23, and may protrude outward from the lid flange portion 23. The height of the lid fitting portion 24 may be any height as long as it is approximately the same as the height of the main body fitting portion 13.

<Cover outer end 25>
2, the lid outer end 25 is formed circumferentially except for a part of the upper edge of the lid fitting portion 24, in other words, is formed circumferentially except for a central portion of the upper edge of the lid fitting portion 24 that corresponds to the inclined side in the plan view of the container body 1. The lid outer end 25 may include a knob piece 26, in other words, a part of the lid outer end 25 may be the knob piece 26. The width W of the lid outer end 25, specifically, the distance from the innermost end to the outermost end of the lid outer end 25, is 0.5 to 5 mm, preferably 1.5 to 4 mm, and more preferably 2 to 3.5 mm. If it is shorter than 0.5 mm, the strength and rigidity of the lid 2 may decrease, and if it is longer than 5 mm, it may protrude too much and the moldability may decrease.

<Knob piece 26>
As shown in FIG. 2, the knob piece 26 is located outside the cover portion 2a and extends outward from the lid outer end 25, but may extend outward from the upper edge of the lid fitting portion 24 or the lid flange portion 23. The knob piece 26 extends to a degree that does not reach the hinge 15c, and the amount of protrusion from the outermost end of the lid outer end 25 is 6 to 16 mm, preferably 8 to 14 mm. The knob piece 26 has two tongue pieces 26a, 26b, each of which is parallel to the hinge 15c and is formed at a predetermined distance from the fixing portion 15d so as to sandwich the fixing portion 15d from both the left and right sides. Instead of having the two tongue pieces 26a, 26b, the knob piece 26 may have a through hole (not shown) near the center that is larger than the fixing portion 15d and does not overlap with the fixing portion 15d when the lid is closed.

The following describes the relationship between the container body 1 and the lid 2 that enhances the effect of the overlapping piece 15 described above.

As shown in Figure 2, the lid 2 has an outer lid end 25 including a knob piece 26, and the container body 1 has an outer body wall 14 that is formed outside the storage section 1a and faces the outer lid end 25 except for the knob piece 26 when the lid is closed, and is preferably in close contact with it. With this configuration, the outer lid end 25 is surrounded by the outer body wall 14, and the part that is pinched when the lid is opened is not exposed except for the knob piece 26, making unauthorized opening of the lid 2 difficult and enhancing the effect of the overlapping piece 15.

As shown in FIG. 2, the lid outer end 25 extends outward from the lid fitting portion 24 located outside the cover portion 2a, and the main body outer wall portion 14 extends upward from the main body fitting portion 13 located above the storage portion 1a. With this configuration, the lid 2 fits inside the container main body 1, increasing the airtightness of the lid 2 and making unauthorized opening of the lid 2 difficult, which is expected to further enhance the effect of the overlapping piece 15.

2, the knob piece 26 is made up of tongue pieces 26a and 26b, and the fixing portion 15d on the base end piece 15a side is formed to be located between the tongue pieces 26a and 26b when the lid is closed. With this configuration, even if the specifications such as the size and position of the knob piece 26 and the fixing portion 15d and the spacing between the tongue pieces 26a and 26b are not strictly determined, the fixing portions 15d and 15e can be fixed to each other and the knob piece 26 can be sandwiched together with the base end piece 15a by folding back the folding back piece 15b, which is expected to have the effect of making it easier to form a structure that prevents unauthorized opening of the lid body 2.

As shown in FIG. 2, the folded piece 15b has a folded tip piece 15bt at a position opposite the hinge 15c, and the cover part 2a has a cover recess 2b that accommodates the folded tip piece 15bt when folded. With this configuration, the folded part 15b is folded back to fasten the fixing parts 15d and 15e when the lid is closed, but the folded tip piece 15bt is expected to be accommodated in the cover recess 2b so as not to protrude beyond the top surface part 21, and the folded tip piece 15bt can be easily grasped by inserting a finger through the cover recess 2b when the lid is opened.

Next, we will explain how to use and open this packaging container with reference to Figures 2 and 3.

<Example of how to use packaging containers>
As shown in Figures 3(a) and (b), a method of using this packaging container includes the steps of storing an item in the storage section 1a of the container body 1, placing the knob piece 26 of the lid body 2 on the base end piece 15a of the container body 1 with respect to the container body 1 containing the item, and engaging the body internal fitting 13 and the lid body fitting section 24 shown in Figure 2, folding back the fold-back piece 15b of the container body 1 to cover the knob piece 26 with the fold-back piece 15b and hide the end of the knob piece 26, and fixing the fixing sections 15d, 15e to each other.

According to this process, simply by closing the opening of the container body 1 with the lid 2, the knob piece 26 can be positioned so that the tongue pieces 26a, 26b pinch the fixing portion 15d of the base end piece 15a. In other words, simply by placing the knob piece 26 on the base end piece 15a, the position of the lid that closes the opening of the container body 1 can be determined, so the lid can be closed easily without hesitation. In addition, simply by folding the fold piece 15b at the hinge 15c and pressing it to the extent that the fixing portions 15d, 15e are fixed, the effect of completing the structure to prevent tampering can be expected.

<An example of how to open a packaging container>
As shown in Figures 3(b) and (c), the method of opening this packaging container includes a process of separating at least the fixed portion 15e from the folded piece 15b by a predetermined deformation or destruction for the packaging container containing the contents packed in the above-mentioned usage method, specifically, a process of inserting the thumb and index finger into the cover recess 2b to pinch the folded tip piece 15bt of the folded piece 15b, and folding back the folded piece 15b while keeping the fixed portions 15d, 15e fixed, while cutting the breaking portion 15f and separating the folded piece 15b from the base end piece 15a, thereby exposing the knob piece 26.

According to this process, when the lid is opened, the folded piece 15b is folded in a plan view and the knob piece 26 is hidden, which makes it easy to recognize the tamper-proof structure at a glance, and the folded tip piece 15bt can be easily grasped through the cover recess 2b, and simply by returning the folded piece 15b, the breaking portion 15f can be broken and the fixed portion 15e can be easily separated from the folded piece 15b, which is expected to have the effect of allowing the lid to be opened easily and without hesitation.
