Description

The present invention relates to a mounting structure for electrical and electronic equipment, and a mounting plate and a box for storing electrical and electronic equipment that are equipped with the mounting structure.

As a mounting structure for a circuit breaker, a structure that uses multiple claws to restrict movement of the circuit breaker is known. For example, as described in Patent Document 1, in order to restrict movement of the circuit breaker toward the load side, a structure is considered in which a lock lever is provided on the circuit breaker and the circuit breaker is engaged with a mounting plate by operating the lock lever.

However, in this type of structure, after placing the circuit breaker in the appropriate position, the movement of the circuit breaker in the load direction cannot be restricted unless the lock lever provided on the circuit breaker is manually operated. Therefore, there is a risk that the circuit breaker will fall off if the operation of the lock lever is forgotten.

The inventor of this case has thoroughly investigated this issue and attempted to solve it. The problem that this invention aims to solve is to prevent electrical and electronic devices placed in a specified location from falling.

To solve the above problem, the mounting structure for electrical and electronic equipment includes a first engaging portion that can engage with a first engaged portion provided around a bottom corner of the electrical and electronic equipment, and a second engaging portion that can engage with a second engaged portion provided on the bottom surface of the electrical and electronic equipment, and is characterized in that the mounting structure for electrical and electronic equipment includes a third engaging portion that can engage with a third engaged portion provided on the electrical and electronic equipment by engaging the first engaging portion with the first engaged portion and engaging the second engaging portion with the second engaged portion, and the third engaging portion can be engaged with the third engaged portion so as to restrict at least downward movement of the electrical and electronic equipment by engaging the first engaging portion with the first engaged portion and engaging the second engaging portion with the second engaged portion to restrict left-right and forward movement of the electrical and electronic equipment.

It is also preferable that the first engaging portion is configured to restrict at least left-right movement of the electrical/electronic device by engaging with the first engaged portion, the second engaging portion is configured to restrict at least forward movement of the electrical/electronic device by engaging with the second engaged portion, and the third engaging portion is configured to restrict at least downward movement of the electrical/electronic device by engaging with the third engaged portion.

It is also preferable that the third engagement portion is located between the first engagement portion and the second engagement portion.

It is also preferable that the mounting plate equipped with the mounting structure for electrical and electronic equipment is one in which the first engagement portion, the second engagement portion, and the third engagement portion are located on the same plane.

It is also preferable that the electrical/electronic device storage box has the electrical/electronic device mounting structure, and the first engagement portion, the second engagement portion, and the third engagement portion are integrally formed with the case of the electrical/electronic device storage box.

The present invention makes it possible to prevent electrical and electronic devices placed in a specified location from falling.

The following describes an embodiment of the invention. As can be understood from Figures 1 to 4, the mounting structure for electrical and electronic equipment of this embodiment includes a first engaging portion 11 that can engage with a first engaged portion 51 provided around a bottom corner of the electrical and electronic equipment, and a second engaging portion 12 that can engage with a second engaged portion 52 provided on the bottom surface of the electrical and electronic equipment. This mounting structure for electrical and electronic equipment includes a third engaging portion 13 that can engage with a third engaged portion 53 provided on the electrical and electronic equipment by engaging the first engaging portion 11 with the first engaged portion 51 and engaging the second engaging portion 12 with the second engaged portion 52. In addition, this mounting structure for electrical and electronic equipment can engage the third engaging portion 13 and the third engaged portion 53 so as to restrict at least the downward movement of the electrical and electronic equipment by engaging the first engaging portion 11 with the first engaged portion 51 and engaging the second engaging portion 12 with the second engaged portion 52 to restrict the electrical and electronic equipment from moving left and right and forward. This makes it possible to prevent the electrical and electronic equipment placed in a specified location from falling.

The mounting structure may be provided on an equipment mounting plate 83 that is stored and installed inside the electrical and electronic equipment storage box 81, such as a distribution board or switchboard, or may be formed as part of the electrical and electronic equipment storage box 81 during the molding process of the exterior of the case 81a. When the mounting structure is formed integrally with the case 81a of the electrical and electronic equipment storage box 81, it is preferable to form the part that functions as the mounting structure so as to protrude from the bottom surface of the electrical and electronic equipment storage box 81 (see FIG. 4).

The electrical and electronic equipment may be any electrical or electronic equipment, such as a breaker, a circuit breaker 50, a switch, a terminal block, a relay, a communication device, or a sensor device.

The electrical/electronic device mounted in the mounting structure shown in Figures 1 to 4 has multiple engaged portions around the bottom surface and bottom corners in order to be mounted and fixed inside an electrical/electronic device storage box 81 such as a distribution board or switchboard. The bottom surface of the electrical/electronic device is the surface that faces the mounting surface to which the electrical/electronic device is mainly attached. That is, in the examples shown in Figures 1 to 6, the bottom surface of the electrical/electronic device is the surface located on the rear side.

For example, the electrical/electronic device has a first engaged portion 51 around the bottom corner. The first engaged portion 51 may have any structure that can restrict at least left-right movement of the electrical/electronic device by engaging with the first engaging portion 11 formed in the mounting structure.

The first engaged portion 51 is not limited to being formed at a corner portion formed by the bottom surface and the top surface, or the bottom surface and the bottom surface, but may be formed on either the bottom surface, the top surface, or the bottom surface around the corner portion.

The electrical/electronic device also has a second engaged portion 52 on its bottom surface. The second engaged portion 52 may have any structure that can restrict at least forward movement of the electrical/electronic device by engaging with the second engaging portion 12 formed in the mounting structure.

The electrical/electronic device also has a third engaged portion 53 at a position different from the first engaged portion 51 and the second engaged portion 52. The third engaged portion 53 may have any structure as long as it can restrict at least the downward movement of the electrical/electronic device by engaging with the third engaging portion 13.

The mounting structure of the embodiment has multiple engaging portions on the same surface that engage with the engaged portions of the electrical and electronic equipment. Each engaging portion is formed at a location where each engaged portion of the electrical and electronic equipment will be located when the electrical and electronic equipment is installed in the mounting structure. In the embodiment, the first engaging portion 11 engages with a first engaged portion 51 formed around a corner of the electrical and electronic equipment, the second engaging portion 12 engages with a second engaging portion 12 formed on the bottom surface of the electrical and electronic equipment, and the third engaging portion 13 engages with a third engaging portion 13 formed on the electrical and electronic equipment.

In addition to the multiple engagement parts, the mounting structure preferably further includes a screw fixing part 15 used to fix the electrical/electronic device with a screw. In this way, the electrical/electronic device can be more firmly fixed to the mounting structure.

Next, an example of an electrical/electronic device storage box 81 shown in FIG. 1 equipped with a mounting structure will be described. In this example, a circuit breaker 50 is used as the electrical/electronic device. The case 81a of this electrical/electronic device storage box 81 is injection molded as a case 81a with an electrical/electronic device mounting structure. In this example, the electrical device storage box stores only one circuit breaker 50 so that a portion of the front surface, including the handle 50a of the circuit breaker 50, is exposed.

The electrical/electronic device storage box 81 in this example has a case 81a and a cover 81b that can be separated in the front-rear direction, and has a locking part 81c that locks the case 81a and the cover 81b together. In addition, the circuit breaker 50 can be attached to the case 81a by using the mounting structure provided in the case 81a of the electrical/electronic device storage box 81.

The electrical/electronic device storage box 81 in this example has mounting holes 16 on the back of the case 81a as mounting parts for use when fixing it to a wall or the like. Also, ribs 17 are formed on the side surfaces and corners of the case 81a to guide the cover 81b when attaching it and to prevent the cover 81b and the case 81a from shifting out of place.

The electrical and electronic equipment storage box 81 in this example also has a knock-out portion 18 that can be removed when an opening is desired. By removing this knock-out portion 18 by pressing or the like, an opening can be made in the electrical and electronic equipment storage box 81. The electric wires wired to the circuit breaker 50 attached to the electrical and electronic equipment storage box 81 can be input and output through the opening formed by removing the knock-out portion 18 provided on the case 81a and cover 81b. Note that wiring ribs 19 are formed on the side of the case 81a to prevent the wiring inside the electrical and electronic equipment storage box 81 from protruding outside the case 81a.

In the example shown in FIG. 4, the case 81a is provided with a screw fixing portion 15 that can be used for fixing with a screw, separate from the mounting structure. In the example shown in FIG. 4, a part of the bottom surface of the box 81 for storing electrical and electronic equipment is raised in order to adjust the height of the engaged portion and the engaging portion of the electrical and electronic equipment in the front-to-rear direction, and the screw fixing portion 15 is provided in that part.

In the example shown in Figs. 5 and 6, the circuit breaker 50 has a first engaged portion 51 on the top surface of the circuit breaker 50, near the bottom corner on the side where the power supply terminal is located. The first engaged portion 51 in the example shown in Fig. 5 is groove-shaped and is formed to correspond to each pole of the circuit breaker 50.

In the example shown in FIG. 6, a recess 54 is formed on the bottom surface of the circuit breaker 50 for mounting the circuit breaker 50 to a rail member, and a second engaged portion 52 is provided below the recess 54, and a third engaged portion 53 is provided above the recess 54. The second engaged portion 52 is provided with a locking portion 52a that can be used to clamp and fix the rail member that is in contact with the bottom surface of the circuit breaker 50.

More specifically, in the embodiment of the circuit breaker 50, the rail member is clamped between the upper side of the recess 54 provided on the bottom surface of the circuit breaker 50 and the locking portion 52a, thereby fixing the circuit breaker 50 and the rail member and restricting the circuit breaker 50 from moving in a direction away from the rail member (forward direction).

The locking portion 52a in the embodiment is a member attached to the bottom surface of the electrical/electronic device so as to be slidable in the vertical direction, and has a spring, so that a force is always applied in the upward direction by the elastic force of the spring. When the restriction by the locking portion 52a is released, the circuit breaker 50 can be removed from the rail member. Note that no rail member is attached to the electrical/electronic device storage box 81 in the embodiment.

The first engaging portion 11 of the embodiment has a generally L-shaped cross section with an end facing the load side (downward) so that it can be inserted into the first engaged portion 51 of the circuit breaker 50. Therefore, by engaging the first engaging portion 11 with the first engaged portion 51 formed on each pole of the circuit breaker 50, it is possible to restrict the left-right movement of the circuit breaker 50 as well as the forward movement of the circuit breaker 50.

The second engaging portion 12 has a shape similar to that of the rail member attached to the bottom surface of the circuit breaker 50, and has a generally L-shaped cross section with one end facing the load side (downward). When this second engaging portion 12 is sandwiched between the bottom side of the circuit breaker 50 and the locking portion 52a of the second engaged portion 52, it is possible to restrict the forward movement of the circuit breaker 50.

However, if only the first engaging portion 11 and the second engaging portion 12 as described above are provided, there is a risk that the circuit breaker 50 may fall off. This is because the first engaging portion 11 and the second engaging portion 12 are formed with a generally L-shaped cross section facing the load side (downward), and therefore if the electrical equipment storage box is installed on a wall or the like with the load side facing downward, there is a risk that the first engaged portion 51 and the second engaged portion 52 of the circuit breaker 50 may become disengaged from the first engaging portion 11 and the second engaging portion 12.

Therefore, in this embodiment, a third engaging portion 13 is formed to restrict downward movement of the circuit breaker 50. The third engaging portion 13 in this embodiment is located between the first engaging portion 11 and the second engaging portion 12, and is formed so that the third engaged portion 53 of the circuit breaker 50 abuts against it. In particular, when the first engaged portion 51 and the second engaged portion 52 of the circuit breaker 50 are properly engaged with the first engaging portion 11 and the second engaging portion 12, the third engaged portion 53 of the circuit breaker 50 automatically abuts against the third engaging portion 13.

In order to make this possible with a simple structure, it is preferable that the distance between the second engaged portion 52 and the third engaged portion 53 of the circuit breaker 50 is approximately the same as the distance between the second engaging portion 12 and the third engaging portion 13.

In addition, by forming the third engagement portion 13 between the first engagement portion 11 and the second engagement portion 12, it can be contained within the range of the bottom surface of the electrical/electronic device (circuit breaker 50), thereby reducing the size of the mounting structure.

When the outer shape, including the bottom shape, of the circuit breaker 50 is standardized by a standard, etc., the positions of each engaged part (such as the position of the first engaged part 51) and the distance between each engaged part (such as the distance between the second engaged part 52 and the third engaged part 53) that are standardized by the standard can be made substantially the same as the positions of each engaging part (such as the position of the first engaging part 11) and the distance between each engaging part (such as the distance between the second engaging part 12 and the third engaging part 13), thereby making it possible to accommodate the installation of various circuit breakers 50 that comply with the standard.

Here, an example of attaching an electrical/electronic device to the case 81a of the electrical/electronic device storage box 81 using the attachment structure will be described. As shown in FIG. 7, the electrical/electronic device is separated from the case 81a, and then the first engaging portion 11 is engaged with the first engaged portion 51 as shown in FIG. 8. Furthermore, the second engaging portion 12 is engaged with the second engaged portion 52 (see FIG. 9). At this time, the locking portion 52a is first moved downward and then moved upward so that the second engaging portion 12 is hooked onto the electrical/electronic device. In this state, the third engaging portion 13 is able to engage with the third engaged portion 53, and the electrical/electronic device can be prevented from moving downward.

The third engaging portion 13 does not need to be located between the first engaging portion 11 and the second engaging portion 12, and may be provided in multiple locations. For example, the third engaged portion 53 and the third engaging portion 13 may be located on the load side (lower side) than the second engaged portion 52 and the second engaging portion 12.

For example, the underside of the circuit breaker 50 may be the third engaged portion 53, and the underside of the circuit breaker 50 may abut against the third engaging portion 13 to restrict the circuit breaker 50 from moving downward. By making the underside of the circuit breaker 50 the third engaged portion 53, the abutment between the third engaged portion 53 and the third engaging portion 13 can be visually observed, and it is easy to confirm that the circuit breaker 50 is restricted. In the example shown in FIG. 4, the third engaging portion 13 is provided between the first engaging portion 11 and the second engaging portion 12, and the third engaging portion 13 is also provided on the load side (lower side) of the second engaging portion 12.

So far, we have described an example of an electrical/electronic device storage box 81 in which a case 81a with a mounting structure is injection molded, but as can be seen from the example shown in FIG. 10, the mounting structure may also be formed on a mounting plate 83 stored in the electrical/electronic device storage box 81. In this example, the mounting plate 83 is for mounting an electronic device, and is stored in the electrical/electronic device storage box 81 when in use. This mounting plate 83 may be capable of mounting at least one electrical/electronic device (such as a circuit breaker 50), but it is preferable that the mounting structure be formed so that multiple electrical/electronic devices can be mounted in parallel.

In the examples shown so far, multiple types of engaged parts provided on the circuit breaker 50 are formed separately and engaged with engaging parts of the mounting structure formed separately, but some of them may be shared. For example, the third engaged part 53 and other engaged parts, or the third engaging part 13 and other engaging parts may be shared.

In a more detailed example, if a groove is formed as the first engaged portion 51 on the bottom surface side near the corner of the circuit breaker 50 and the first engaging portion 11 is formed in a generally linear shape extending forward to correspond to the groove, the first engaging portion 11 and the first engaged portion 51 will engage with each other to restrict not only left-right movement of the circuit breaker 50 but also up-down movement, so that the first engaging portion 11 also serves as the third engaging portion 13 and the first engaged portion 51 also serves as the third engaged portion 53.

Although the present invention has been described above using the embodiments as examples, the present invention is not limited to the above embodiments and can be in various forms. For example, the shape and position of each engaged part of the circuit breaker do not need to be the same as the above examples, and the shape and position of each engaging part of the mounting structure do not need to be the same as the above examples. In addition, the mounting structure does not need to be formed during injection molding of the electrical equipment storage box or formed on a mounting plate that is stored in the electrical equipment storage box and on which the electrical equipment is mounted. The mounting structure may be formed in any way as long as it is capable of mounting electrical equipment.
