Description

液体エアロゾル前駆体組成物を収容するリザーバと、
噴霧器にして、マイクロテクスチャ加工表面を横切る液体エアロゾル前駆体組成物の表面ウィッキングに適合されたマイクロテクスチャ加工表面を有する非繊維性液体輸送要素と、非繊維性液体輸送要素のマイクロテクスチャ加工表面上にパターン化された膜の形態の電気抵抗加熱要素とを含む噴霧器であって、膜が第1の端部および第2の端部を有し、液体輸送要素のマイクロテクスチャ加工表面がリザーバと流体連通し、電気抵抗加熱要素と流体連通している、噴霧器と、
第1の端部および第2の端部のそれぞれに近接する非繊維性液体輸送要素に開口部と、
を含み、
電流が端子から端子に流されることができるように、開口部を通して膜の第1の端部と係合される正の電気端子と、開口部を通して膜の第2の端部と係合される負の電気端子とをさらに含む。

噴霧器にして、マイクロテクスチャ加工表面を横切る液体エアロゾル前駆体組成物の表面ウィッキングに適合されたマイクロテクスチャ加工表面を有する非繊維性液体輸送要素と、非繊維性液体輸送要素のマイクロテクスチャ加工表面上にパターン化された膜の形態の電気抵抗加熱要素と、を含む噴霧器であって、膜が第1の端部および第2の端部を有し、液体輸送要素のマイクロテクスチャ加工表面がリザーバと流体連通し、電気抵抗加熱要素と流体連通している、噴霧器と、
第1の端部および第2の端部のそれぞれに近接する非繊維性液体輸送要素に開口部と、を含み、
電流が端子から端子に流されることができるように、開口部を通して膜の第1の端部と係合される正の電気端子と、開口部を通して膜の第2の端部と係合される負の電気端子とをさらに含む、エアロゾル送達装置。
Claims (26)
- 液体エアロゾル前駆体組成物を収容するリザーバと、
噴霧器であって、
リザーバと流体連通し、マイクロテクスチャ加工表面を有する非繊維性液体輸送要素と、
非繊維性液体輸送要素のマイクロテクスチャ加工表面上にパターン化された形態の電気抵抗加熱要素とを備える噴霧器と、
を備える、エアロゾル送達装置であって、
非線維性液体輸送要素のマイクロテクスチャ加工表面が、マイクロメートルスケールでの表面形態の三次元特徴を表す、エアロゾル生成装置。 - 非繊維性液体輸送要素のマイクロテクスチャ加工表面が、液体エアロゾル前駆体組成物の表面ウィッキングに適合されている、請求項1に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
- 表面形態の三次元特徴が、表面が複数の凹凸部分を含むように外観上不連続である、請求項1に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
- 表面形態の三次元特徴が、構造の秩序配列としてパターン化されている、請求項1に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
- 表面形態の三次元特徴が、ランダムに配置されている、請求項1に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
- 非繊維性液体輸送要素のマイクロテクスチャ加工表面が、比較的不均一な複数の表面突起を表す、請求項1に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
- 非繊維性液体輸送要素のマイクロテクスチャ加工表面が、不規則な複数の表面突起を表す、請求項1に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
- 非繊維性液体輸送要素のマイクロテクスチャ加工表面が、液体エアロゾル前駆体組成物の安定した供給が加熱要素のすぐ近くに直接送達されるように、表面を横切って表面ウィッキングを提供するように適合されている、請求項1に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
- 非繊維性液体輸送要素が、セラミック材料を備える、請求項1に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
- 非繊維性液体輸送要素が、約0.5cm2~約50cm2の表面積を有する、請求項1に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
- 電気抵抗加熱要素が、非繊維性液体輸送要素のマイクロテクスチャ加工表面と物理的に結合されている、請求項1に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
- 電気抵抗加熱要素が、エッチングされた電気抵抗加熱要素として存在するようにエッチングによって非繊維性液体輸送要素のマイクロテクスチャ加工表面と結合されている、請求項11に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
- 電気抵抗加熱要素が、印刷された電気抵抗加熱要素として存在するように印刷によって非繊維性液体輸送要素のマイクロテクスチャ加工表面と結合されている、請求項11に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
- 電気抵抗加熱要素が、非繊維性液体輸送要素のマイクロテクスチャ加工表面に接着されている、請求項11に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
- 電気抵抗加熱要素が、非繊維性液体輸送要素のマイクロテクスチャ加工表面上にパターン化された膜の形態である、請求項1に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
- マイクロテクスチャ加工表面上にパターン化された膜が、約1,000μm以下の厚さを有する、請求項15に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
- マイクロテクスチャ加工表面上にパターン化された膜が、約0.1μm~約500μmの厚さを有する、請求項15に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
- 電気抵抗加熱要素が、金属元素、金属合金、シリコン、セラミック、炭素、炭化物、窒化物およびそれらの組合せからなる群から選択された導電性材料を含む、請求項1に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
- 電気抵抗加熱要素が、導電性インクを含む、請求項1に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
- 非繊維性液体輸送要素のマイクロテクスチャ加工表面上のパターンが、曲線をなし、第1の端部から第2の端部まで延びる、請求項1に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
- 非繊維性液体輸送要素が、1つ以上の溝またはノッチを含む、請求項1に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
- 電気抵抗加熱要素がパターンの形態で存在する非繊維性液体輸送要素のマイクロテクスチャ加工表面が、実質的に平面である、請求項1に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
- 実質的に平面のマイクロテクスチャ加工表面が、エアロゾル送達装置の長手方向軸にほぼ垂直である、請求項22に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
- 正の電気端子および負の電気端子をさらに備える、請求項1に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
- リザーバおよび噴霧器が、制御本体に取り付けるように適合されたカートリッジに収容され、制御本体が、電気抵抗加熱要素に電流を供給するように構成された電源を含む、請求項1に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
- (a)電気抵抗加熱要素に電流を供給するように構成された電源、
(b)電源からの電流を制御するように適合されたコントローラ、および
(c)エアロゾル送達装置またはその一部内の圧力低下を感知するように適合されたフローセンサ
のうちの1つ以上をさらに含む、請求項1に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
