Description

This disclosure relates to a cart that can be connected to multiple other cars.

Conventionally, this type of bogie is known in which the bases of the bogies are connected to each other by connecting members extending from the bases (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

However, with the conventional trolleys mentioned above, there is a problem where cargo climbs up onto the connecting members connecting the trolleys, limiting freedom of movement and making the trolley unstable, so a solution to this problem is needed.

A first aspect of the invention made to solve the above-mentioned problems is a trolley that can be connected to multiple trolleys, and has a connecting member that protrudes vertically from one vertical end of a base that is rectangular in plan view and has a tip that is bent downward to form a downward protrusion, and a protrusion receiving portion formed at the other vertical end of the base with which the downward protrusion of another trolley engages, and the trolley has a through hole that penetrates the wall portion of the other end of the base in the vertical or diagonal vertical direction and through which the connecting member passes when the downward protrusion is engaged with the protrusion receiving portion.

A second aspect of the invention is a trolley as described in the first aspect, in which a portion of the through hole and the protrusion receiving portion are located below the luggage carrying surface of the base, and the trolley is provided with a ceiling wall located above the through hole at the outer edge of the luggage carrying surface and whose upper surface is the luggage carrying surface.

A third aspect of the invention is a trolley as described in the first or second aspect , in which the inner upper surface of the through hole is provided with a first inclined portion that descends in the vertical direction as it approaches the protrusion receiving portion.

A fourth aspect of the invention is a trolley described in any one of the first to third aspects, wherein the connecting member is supported so as to be tiltable up and down, and the inner lower surface of the through hole is provided with a second inclined portion that rises as it approaches the protrusion receiving portion in the vertical direction, and a third inclined portion that descends toward the protrusion receiving portion is provided between the second inclined portion and the protrusion receiving portion .

A fifth aspect of the invention is a trolley described in any one of the first to fourth aspects , in which a stopper protrusion that protrudes in a stepped manner from the outer edge of the upper surface of the base to stop luggage is arranged across above the through hole.

A sixth aspect of the invention is a trolley described in any one of the first to fifth aspects, which is provided with stopper protrusions that protrude in a stepped manner from only both vertical ends of the outer edge of the top surface of the base, or from only both vertical ends and one horizontal end of the base , to stop luggage, and which can slide-load luggage only from the open portion, which is the outer edge of the top surface of the base that does not have the stopper protrusions.

A seventh aspect of the invention is the trolley described in the sixth aspect, in which the outer edge of the upper surface of the base , which forms the open portion, is provided with an anti-slip protrusion that protrudes lower than the stopper protrusion and increases the frictional resistance between the luggage and the base, thereby preventing the luggage from slipping.

In this disclosure, the "wall of the base" refers to the wall of the member that constitutes the base, and the "wall of the other end of the base" refers to the wall of the member that constitutes the end of the base opposite the side having the connecting member.

In the trolley of the first aspect of the invention , the connecting members connecting the trolleys are passed through through holes that penetrate the vertical ends of the base and are protected from contact with luggage, so that luggage does not climb onto the connecting members connecting the trolleys as in the conventional case, restricting the freedom of movement during travel, and the travel of the trolley in the connected state is stabilized.

According to the trolley of the second aspect of the invention , when a box-shaped cargo is loaded by sliding the cargo loading surface in an inclined position, it is expected that the corners of the cargo, which are subjected to the greatest load on the base, will pass through the outer edge of the cargo loading surface. However, since the ceiling wall covers the through holes located on the outer edge of the cargo loading surface from above and the upper surface of the ceiling wall forms the cargo loading surface, the corners of the cargo are prevented from getting caught in the through holes, enabling the cargo to be loaded smoothly.

The trolley of the third aspect of the invention has a first inclined portion on the inner upper surface of the through hole that descends as it approaches the protrusion receiving portion, so that the tip of the connecting member passes smoothly through the through hole and engages with the protrusion receiving portion, and the connecting member engaged with the protrusion receiving portion is restricted from moving upward by the first inclined portion, preventing the connecting member from easily coming off the protrusion receiving portion due to impact, etc.

According to the configuration of the fourth aspect of the invention , when the tip of the connecting member of one bogie is inserted into the through-hole of the other bogie and the bogie is brought closer to the other bogie, the tip of the connecting member is guided by the second inclined portion on the inner lower surface of the through-hole and tilts upward, and when the connecting member passes the second inclined portion, the tip of the connecting member is guided by the third inclined portion and tilts downward to be guided into the protrusion receiving portion. In this way, the bogies are smoothly connected to each other.

In the trolley of the fifth aspect of the invention , the stopper projection that projects in a stepped shape from the outer edge of the upper surface of the base to stop luggage crosses above the through hole and also serves to reinforce the base.

In the sixth aspect of the invention , a plurality of carts are arranged in the vertical direction of the base and connected together. Since stopper protrusions protrude in a stepped shape from both vertical ends of the outer edge of the top surface of the base, cargo is prevented from falling off the base due to acceleration/deceleration while the cart is traveling. Furthermore, one or both horizontal ends of the outer edge of the top surface of the base are open without stopper protrusions, so that cargo can be easily slid onto each cart when the carts are connected together.

In the trolley of the seventh aspect of the invention , the opening is provided with an anti-slip protrusion, so that baggage is prevented from slipping out of the opening.

[First embodiment]
A dolly 10 according to a first embodiment of the present disclosure will be described below with reference to Figures 1 to 10. The dolly 10 according to this embodiment shown in Figure 1 includes a resin base 11 that is rectangular in plan view. Hereinafter, the long direction of the base 11 will be referred to as the "longitudinal direction H1," and the short direction of the base 11 will be referred to as the "lateral direction H2." In addition, the side of the longitudinal direction H1 that has a connecting member 20, which will be described later, will be referred to as the "front side," and the opposite side will be referred to as the "rear side."

The base 11 has a main plate 13 on the upper surface, and the lower surface of the main plate 13 has a structure in which the lattice-shaped lower surface ribs 11L shown in FIG. 2 are stretched around. In addition, a substantially rectangular opening 12 having a size of about 1/2 the overall length and width of the base 11 is formed in the center of the base 11. Furthermore, casters 19 are arranged at the four corners of the lower surface of the base 11, and the base plates 19A above the casters 19 are fixed in a state of being housed in a recess surrounded by the lower end of the lower surface rib 11L. In addition, as shown in FIG. 1, rectangular wheel receiving recesses 14 long in the vertical direction H1 are formed at the four corners of the upper surface of the base 11 that are directly above one caster 19. When the carts 10 are stacked on top of each other, these wheel receiving recesses 14 receive the casters 19 of the upper cart 10, and regulate the misalignment of the upper and lower carts 10. In addition, reinforcing ribs 14A are formed inside the two rear wheel receiving recesses 14.

Stopper protrusions 15-17 protrude from the outer edges of three of the four sides of the top surface of the base plate 11, excluding the outer edge of one end in the horizontal direction H2. The stopper protrusions 15-17 have an inner side that stands almost vertically from the upper surface of the main plate 13, a horizontal upper surface, and an outer side that is flush with the outer side of the entire base plate 11. Furthermore, with the exception of some parts, the stopper protrusions 15-17 are almost entirely hollow, with the internal space open downwards. The wheel receiving recess 14 mentioned above is positioned away from any of the stopper protrusions 15-17.

The horizontal upper surface of the base 11 surrounded by the stopper projections 15-17 forms the luggage placement surface 11A. The outer edge of one end of the outer edge of the upper surface of the base 11 in the horizontal direction H2 that does not have the stopper projections 15-17 forms an opening 18 for sliding luggage onto the luggage placement surface 11A. In the opening 18, the outer edge of the upper surface of the base 11 forms a slope 18B that slopes slightly downward as it moves outward. Furthermore, the ends of the inner surfaces of the stopper projections 15, 16 facing each other in the vertical direction H1 that are located in the opening 18 form a pair of slopes 18A that slope away from each other as they move outward.

As shown in Figures 1 and 3, the front recess 16A is formed in the middle of the stopper protrusion 16 in the horizontal direction H2 by removing the front portion from the middle position in the vertical direction H1 from the upper end of the stopper protrusion 16 to the lower end of the lower surface rib 11L.

As shown in Figures 2 and 3, a lower protrusion 25 extends downward from the lower surface rib 11L at the center of the horizontal direction H2 on the underside of the front end of the base plate 11, and projects forward to a position facing the front recess 16A from below. The front surface of the lower protrusion 25 is disposed flush with the entire front surface of the base plate 11.

As shown in FIG. 4, the lower protrusion 25 has a support hole 24 that passes vertically through the center in the horizontal direction H2. The support hole 24 has a circular lower opening, while the upper opening is an oval shape that extends rearward from a position directly above the lower opening, and as shown in FIG. 3, it has a shape that gradually widens rearward from the lower opening to a midpoint in the vertical direction. The connecting member 20 is attached to the support hole 24.

The connecting member 20 is formed by bending both ends of a metal round bar at a right angle, and has a support portion 22 bent downward at a right angle from the base end of the horizontally extending swivel portion 21, and a downward protrusion 23 bent downward at a right angle from the tip end of the swivel portion 21. The support portion 22 extends downward from the downward protrusion 23, and a male screw portion (not shown) is formed at its lower end. The support portion 22 is inserted into the support hole 24 from above, and a nut 22N is screwed into the lower end to prevent it from falling out of the support hole 24. The connecting member 20 can be rotated between a position facing one side of the lateral direction H2 from the support hole 24 and a position facing the other side, and the support portion 22 tilts so that it falls backward from the vertical state to the support hole 24.

When not in use, the connecting member 20 is in a standby state facing either one of the horizontal directions H2. In this standby state, as shown in FIG. 4, the tip of the connecting member 20 is located to the side of the front recess 16A and fits under the base 11. In addition, in order to prevent the connecting member 20 from jumping up to the standby state, a pair of protrusions 26 protrude from the front surface inside the front recess 16A and face the rotating part 21 of the standby connecting member 20 from above. Furthermore, a pair of protrusions 27 are formed on the front edge of the upper surface of the lower protrusion 25 to prevent the connecting member 20 from rotating forward from the standby state due to vibration or the like. The pair of protrusions 27 are formed symmetrically on both sides of the front region of the support hole 24, extend in the horizontal direction H2, and become higher as they approach each other. In addition, when using the connecting member 20, the rotating part 21 is slid on the protrusions 27 and rotated to a position extending forward from the support hole 24. Then, the rotating part 21 fits between the pair of protrusions 27, and the connecting member 20 is held in a usable state protruding forward from the base 11.

As shown in FIG. 3, the rear end of the base 11 is provided with a connected portion 30 to which a connecting member 20 of another bogie 10 can be connected. To form the connected portion 30, a lower protrusion 39 extends downward from the lower surface rib 11L at the center of the horizontal direction H2 on the underside of the rear end of the base 11 as shown in FIG. 2. As shown in FIG. 3, the lower end surface of the lower protrusion 39 is located at the same height as the lower end surface of the lower protrusion 25, and the rear surface of the lower protrusion 39 is disposed flush with the entire rear surface of the base 11.

The connected portion 30 includes a protrusion receiving portion 31 and a through hole 32. The protrusion receiving portion 31 passes vertically from the lower end surface of the lower protrusion 39 to the luggage placement surface 11A. As shown in FIG. 2, the shape of the lower end opening of the protrusion receiving portion 31 is an isosceles triangle elongated in the vertical direction H1, with its base located at the front and its rear end corners chamfered in an arc shape. Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 3, the protrusion receiving portion 31 has the same cross-sectional shape as the lower end opening from the lower end to the vertical middle position, and the through hole 32 communicates with the upper part of the protrusion receiving portion 31 from the rear via a groove portion 32M described later.

1 and 6, the through hole 32 penetrates the wall of the base 11 at an angle to the vertical direction H1 and is surrounded on all sides by the wall of the base 11. The through hole 32 and a groove 32M, which opens the upper surface of the through hole 32 and will be described later, form an introduction path 32D for introducing the tip of the connecting member 20 from the rear surface of the base 11 into the protrusion receiving portion 31. The rear end opening of the through hole 32 is a horizontally long rectangle, and as shown in FIG. 3, in the vertical direction, it is formed from a position near the lower end of the lower protrusion 39 to a position slightly below the luggage placement surface 11A, and in the horizontal direction H2, it expands symmetrically with the protrusion receiving portion 31 as the center, and is about 2 to 4 times the maximum width (front end width) of the protrusion receiving portion 31.

As shown in FIG. 5(A), the inner lower surface 36 of the through hole 32 includes a second inclined portion 36A that rises as it approaches the protrusion receiving portion 31 in the vertical direction H1, and a third inclined portion 36B that slopes slightly downward from the front end of the second inclined portion 36A to the protrusion receiving portion 31. The first inclined portion 35B is provided on the inner upper surface 35 of the through hole 32, as described below. The inclination angle of the second inclined portion 36A with respect to the horizontal direction is 30 to 60 degrees, while the inclination angle of the third inclined portion 36B with respect to the horizontal direction is about 1 to 10 degrees.

The second inclined portion 36A extends from the rear end of the base 11, past below the stopper projection 15, to a position below the load placement surface 11A. On the other hand, the third inclined portion 36B has a length in the vertical direction H1 that is much shorter than that of the second inclined portion 36A. Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 3, the boundary between the second inclined portion 36A and the third inclined portion 36B, which is the top portion of the inner lower surface 36, is located at the same height as the front portion of the support hole 24 on the upper surface of the lower projection 25.

When a bogie 10 with its connecting member 20 in a usable state is inserted into the coupled portion 30 of another bogie 10, as shown in Figure 7, the lower end of the downward projection 23 of the connecting member 20 of the rear bogie 10 comes into contact with a position near the rear lower end of the second inclined portion 36A in the through hole 32 of the front bogie 10. When the rear bogie 10 is moved closer to the front bogie 10 in this state, as shown in Figure 8, the downward projection 23 comes into sliding contact with the second inclined portion 36A and moves upward, causing the connecting member 20 to tilt upward. When the lower end of the downward projection 23 passes the top portion of the inner lower surface 36, it comes into sliding contact with the third inclined portion 36B and moves slightly downward, causing the connecting member 20 to tilt slightly downward. When the downward protrusion 23 is positioned above the rear end of the protrusion receiving portion 31, it drops all at once and engages with the protrusion receiving portion 31 as shown in FIG. 3, and the trolleys 10 are connected to each other. When the connected trolleys 10 are pulled together, the arc surface 31A at the rear end of the protrusion receiving portion 31 abuts against the arc surface that is the side surface of the downward protrusion 23.

As shown in Figures 1 and 6, a pair of inner surfaces 37 of the through hole 32 are formed flat from the rear surface of the base 11 to a position slightly forward of the arc surface 31A of the protrusion receiving portion 31, are parallel to the vertical direction, and are inclined toward the front in the vertical direction H1. As a result, even if the connecting member 20 is shifted or inclined in the horizontal direction H2 inside the through hole 32, it is guided toward the protrusion receiving portion 31.

As shown in FIG. 3, the inner upper surface 35 of the through hole 32 is formed from the rear end of the base 11 to a position slightly forward of the top of the inner lower surface 36. More specifically, the rear part of the through hole 32 is covered from above by the middle part of the stopper protrusion 15, and the front part of the through hole 32 is covered from above by the ceiling wall 34, the upper surface of which forms part of the outer edge of the luggage carrying surface 11A. The front end of the ceiling wall 34 is within a range directly above the third inclined portion 36B. That is, the through hole 32 is formed up to a position just before the protrusion receiving portion 31, and from the front end of the through hole 32 to the protrusion receiving portion 31, the through hole 32 is opened upward and forms a groove portion 32M that opens into the luggage carrying surface 11A, which is the upper surface of the base 11.

As shown in FIG. 6, the middle part of the stopper projection 15 that crosses above the through hole 32 has a structure including a plurality of horizontal ribs 15L1 extending in the horizontal direction H2, vertical ribs 15L2 that extend in the vertical direction and intersect with the horizontal ribs 15L1, a front wall 15A that closes the space between the horizontal ribs 15L1 from the front, and a partition wall 15B that separates the internal space on both sides of the middle part of the stopper projection 15 from the space between the horizontal ribs 15L1.

5(B), the inner upper surface 35 of the through hole 32 forms a first horizontal portion 35A from the rear end of the through hole 32 to a position midway in the vertical direction H1 of the ceiling wall 34, forms a first inclined portion 35B that slopes downward toward the front from the first horizontal portion 35A to a position near the front end of the ceiling wall 34, and further forms a second horizontal portion 35C from the third inclined portion 36B to the front end of the ceiling wall 34. This allows the front end of the connecting member 20 passing under the ceiling wall 34 to be guided downward, making it easier for the downward protrusion 23 of the connecting member 20 to engage with the protrusion receiving portion 31. In addition, because the through hole 32 narrows toward the protrusion receiving portion 31 due to the first inclined portion 35B and the third inclined portion 36B, even if the connecting member 20, whose downward protrusion 23 is engaged with the protrusion receiving portion 31, bounces up or down due to an impact or the like, the amount of the bounce is limited, and the connecting member 20 will not inadvertently come off the protrusion receiving portion 31.

The above is an explanation of the configuration of the bogie 10 of this embodiment. Next, the action and effect of this bogie 10 will be explained. The bogie 10 of this embodiment can be used alone, or multiple bogies can be connected together as shown in Figures 9 and 10. To connect the bogies 10 to each other, the connecting member 20 is set in a usable state as described above, and the bogies 10 are brought close to each other. Then, as shown in Figure 3, the connecting member 20 of the rear bogie 10 passes through the through hole 32 of the front bogie 10 and engages with the protrusion receiving portion 31, connecting the bogies 10 to each other. Then, the bogies 10 are allowed to rotate around the downward protrusion 23 of the connecting member 20 between them.

In addition, the multiple connected carts 10 have stopper protrusions 15, 16 in the direction in which the multiple carts 10 are lined up, preventing the luggage from shifting due to acceleration and deceleration during travel. At the same time, because there is an opening 18 on one side perpendicular to the direction in which the multiple carts 10 are lined up, luggage can be easily lifted and lowered onto the luggage placement surface 11A of the base 11 of each cart 10 without being hindered by the stopper protrusions 15, 16, 17. In addition, because the opening 18 is provided with slopes 18A, 18B, luggage can be slid smoothly onto the luggage placement surface 11A.

When the cargo is box-shaped like the container 70 shown in Figures 9 and 10, the cargo may be slid onto the cargo placement surface 11A of the base 11 in an inclined position with one end lowered in the horizontal direction H2. In this case, the base 11 may receive the greatest load from the two corners of the cargo that are on the lower side in the inclined position. In contrast, the wheel receiving recess 14 on the cargo placement surface 11A is provided away from the stopper protrusions 15 and 16 extending in the horizontal direction H2, so that the corners of the cargo will not get caught in the wheel receiving recess 14. In addition, the through hole 32 is also covered by the ceiling wall 34 near the stopper protrusion 15, and the upper surface of the ceiling wall 34 is also part of the cargo placement surface 11A, so that the corners of the cargo will not get caught in the through hole 32.

Although not shown, luggage may be packed in bags and loaded onto the trolley 10. Such luggage may easily deform and collapse onto the connecting parts of the trolleys 10. However, in the trolley 10 of this embodiment, the connecting members 20 that connect the trolleys 10 pass through the through holes 32 and are protected from the luggage coming into contact with them. This prevents luggage from climbing onto the connecting members 20 that connect the trolleys 10, restricting the freedom of movement as in the past, and stabilizes the travel of the trolleys 10 in the connected state. In addition, the aforementioned stopper protrusion 15 is formed to cross above the through holes 32, so in addition to preventing the luggage from shifting, the stopper protrusion 15 also reinforces the base 11.

[Second embodiment]
In Fig. 11, the dolly 10V of this embodiment is shown without the casters. The base 11V of this dolly 10V has an opening 18 on both sides in the horizontal direction H2 by removing the stopper protrusion 17 at the end in the horizontal direction H2 from the base 11 of the first embodiment. In addition, each opening 18 has a pair of anti-slip protrusions 75 on the edge of the luggage placement surface 11A along the slope 18B. The anti-slip protrusion 75 is a protrusion having a trapezoidal cross section and extending in the vertical direction H1, and protrudes from the luggage placement surface 11A to a much smaller extent than the stopper protrusions 15 and 16. In addition, the anti-slip protrusion 75 has a horizontal upper surface 75B, a slope 75C that is nearly vertical on the outer side of the upper surface 75B, and a slope 75A that is gently inclined on the opposite side.

In the present embodiment, the trolley 10V has stopper projections 15, 16 protruding in a stepped shape from both ends in the vertical direction H1 of the outer edge of the top surface of the base 11, preventing cargo from falling off the base 11 due to acceleration and deceleration while the trolley 10V is traveling. In addition, both ends in the horizontal direction H2 of the outer edge of the top surface of the base 11 do not have stopper projections 15, 16, and instead have openings 18 equipped only with anti-slip projections 75 that are significantly lower than the stopper projections 15, 16, so that cargo can be easily slid onto the trolley 10V when it is connected. In addition, since each opening 18 is equipped with an anti-slip projection 75, cargo is prevented from easily sliding off the openings 18.

Furthermore, the portion above the through hole 32 may be a plate-shaped wall portion that does not have the stopper protrusion 15. It should be noted that whether or not to open the upper surface of a part of the through hole 32 to form the groove portion 32M and whether or not to open the upper surface of the protrusion receiving portion 31 can be freely combined.

(5) In the first embodiment, the inner lower surface 36 of the through hole 32 allows the through hole 32 to penetrate the wall of the base plate 11 at an angle to the vertical direction H1. However, the through hole 32 may also penetrate the wall of the base plate 11 parallel to the vertical direction H1.

(6) In the bogie 10 of the first embodiment, any one of the stopper protrusions 15-17 may be eliminated, or all of them may be eliminated to make the top surface of the base 11 flat. Also, the stopper protrusions 15-17 may be provided intermittently along each outer edge of the top surface of the base 11. Furthermore, in the bogie 10 of the first embodiment, the outer surfaces of the stopper protrusions 15-17 and the outer surface of the base 11 below the stopper protrusions 15-17 are flush with each other, but they do not have to be flush with each other.

(7) In the first embodiment, the third inclined portion 36B on the inner lower surface 36 of the through hole 32 is inclined downward toward the protrusion receiving portion 31, but the third inclined portion 36B may be inclined upward toward the protrusion receiving portion 31 at an angle different from that of the second inclined portion 36A (which may be an angle larger or smaller than that of the second inclined portion 36A). Also, the third inclined portion 36B may not be provided, and the second inclined portion 36A may extend to the protrusion receiving portion 31, or a flat, horizontal portion may be provided instead of the third inclined portion 36B on the inner lower surface 36.
