Description

The present invention relates to a packaging bag for containing items.

Conventionally, packaging bags for containing items have been known that are made by forming a sheet material such as a plastic film into a bag shape. For example, a packaging bag is known that has a back portion formed by sealing a pair of side ends of the sheet material that extend in one direction when the sheet material is formed into a cylindrical shape by overlapping the pair of side ends, and a pair of closed ends formed by closing both ends of the cylindrical area of the sheet material, and a storage portion in which an item is stored is formed between the pair of closed ends.

However, such packaging bags may be displayed in stores while hanging from a rod-shaped member. For this reason, the packaging bag is formed with a hanging through-portion that is formed to penetrate one of the pair of closed ends and through which the rod-shaped member is inserted (see Patent Document 1). The packaging bag is configured to be able to be hung from the rod-shaped member by inserting the rod-shaped member through the hanging through-portion.

Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 08-334869

However, when multiple packaging bags are hung from a single rod-shaped member in the method of displaying them as described above, the packaging bags overlap with each other, making it difficult to see any packaging bag other than the one located closest to the customer.

Therefore, the present invention aims to provide a packaging bag that makes it easy to visually identify multiple packaging bags containing items when they are displayed in a store, etc.

The packaging bag according to the present invention is formed using a sheet material and includes a storage section for storing an item, and a first extending section and a second extending section extending in different directions from the storage section, the first extending section includes a through-hole that passes through the first extending section, and the second extending section includes an inserting section that can be inserted into the through-hole of the first extending section, and is configured such that the through-hole and the inserting section engage in the pulling-out direction when the inserting section of the second extending section of one packaging bag is inserted into the through-hole of the first extending section of the other packaging bag and then pulled out.

According to this configuration, the insertion portion of the second extension portion of one packaging bag is inserted into the penetration portion of the first extension portion of the other packaging bag, and the penetration portion and the insertion portion are configured to engage in a direction in which the insertion portion is pulled out from the penetration portion. This allows multiple packaging bags to be connected in the planar direction and displayed, making it easier to view the multiple packaging bags.

The insertion portion has two convex portions formed at opposing positions in a cross direction that crosses the withdrawal direction so as to be convex in the cross direction, and it is preferable that the length between the tips of the two convex portions in the cross direction is longer than the length of the penetrating portion in the cross direction.

According to this configuration, the insertion portion has two convex portions formed at opposing positions in a cross direction that crosses the pull-out direction so as to be convex in the cross direction. In addition, the length between the tips of the two convex portions in the cross direction is configured to be longer than the length of the penetrating portion in the cross direction. This makes it easier for the two convex portions to be hooked onto the inner edge of the penetrating portion in the direction in which the insertion portion is pulled out from the state in which the insertion portion is inserted into the penetrating portion. This makes it possible to maintain a good connection state between the packaging bags.

The through portion is preferably configured such that the first extension portion is linearly cut into a cut line, the cut line is formed in a C-shape that opens toward the pull-out direction, and the length between the tips of the two convex portions in the cross direction is longer than the distance between both ends of the cut line in the cross direction.

The cut line is formed in a C-shape that opens toward the pull-out direction. The length between the tips of the two convex portions in the cross direction is configured to be longer than the distance between both ends of the cut line in the cross direction. This makes it easier for the two convex portions to be hooked onto the inner edge of the through portion near both ends of the cut line in the direction in which the insertion portion is pulled out from the state in which the insertion portion is inserted into the through portion. This makes it possible to better maintain the connection state between the packaging bags.

As described above, according to the present invention, when multiple packaging bags containing items are displayed in a storefront or the like, the multiple packaging bags can be easily viewed.

1 is a front view showing an outline of a packaging bag according to one embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 4 is a front view showing an outline of a packaging bag according to another embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 11 is a front view showing an outline of a packaging bag according to still another embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 11 is a front view showing an outline of a packaging bag according to still another embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 11 is a front view showing an outline of a packaging bag according to still another embodiment of the present invention.

The packaging bag 1 according to one embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIG. 1. Note that in the following drawings, the same or corresponding parts are given the same reference symbols and their description will not be repeated.

As shown in FIG. 1, the packaging bag 1 is formed using a sheet material. The sheet material may be, for example, one made of a single sheet, may be formed by connecting multiple sheets (e.g., ends of multiple sheets), may be made of a laminated sheet in which multiple sheets are stacked, or may be configured to include other members (e.g., pieces of film, etc.).

The sheet material may be, for example, paper or resin. The resin sheet may be, for example, a film having tear directionality (for example, a uniaxially stretched film or a biaxially stretched film).

The sheet material is configured so that when folded back so that one side faces inward, the opposing areas can be connected. Such a sheet material may have one side formed of a so-called easy-peel film, or may have a part coating applied to the connecting portion on one side of the sheet material. More specifically, the sheet material may include an OPP film, an easy-peel film, and a barrier layer (a layer of MXD, EVOH, VM, or the like) disposed between them.

The packaging bag 1 also includes a storage section 2 for storing an article, and a first extension section 3 and a second extension section 4 extending in different directions from the storage section 2. In this embodiment, the first extension section 3 and the second extension section 4 are formed at opposing positions in one direction (specifically, at opposing positions across the storage section 2) and are formed to extend from the storage section 2 in the opposite direction to the opposing direction (in other words, in the direction away from the storage section 2 in the one direction). The packaging bag 1 also includes a folded end section 5 formed by folding the sheet material in two, and a connecting section 6 formed by connecting the opposing surfaces of the sheet material at the position of the end other than the folded end section 5 (specifically, by heat sealing, etc.). In this embodiment, the opposing surfaces of the sheet material are connected to each other over the entire area of the first extension section 3 and the second extension section 4. In other words, the entire first extension section 3 and the second extension section 4 constitute a part of the connecting section 6.

The first extension portion 3 is formed in a band shape extending in the other direction intersecting the one direction. The first extension portion 3 also has a through-hole 3a formed to penetrate itself. In other words, the through-hole 3a is formed to penetrate the connecting portion 6. In this embodiment, a plurality of through-holes 3a (specifically, two) are formed at intervals in the other direction.

The through portion 3a is composed of a cut line 3b formed by cutting the first extending portion 3 (connecting portion 6) linearly. In this embodiment, the cut line 3b is formed in a C-shape that opens toward the end side of the packaging bag 1 in the one direction (i.e., in the direction away from the storage portion 2). Specifically, the cut line 3b includes a first cut portion 3b1 that extends in the other direction, and two second cut portions 3b2 that extend from both ends of the first cut portion 3b1 toward the end side of the packaging bag 1 (i.e., in the direction away from the storage portion 2). In this embodiment, the first cut portion 3b1 is formed in a straight line, and each second cut portion 3b2 is formed curved so as to bulge from the first cut portion 3b1 in the other direction.

The distance between both ends 3b3, 3b3 of the cut line 3b (the distance in the other direction) may be narrower than the distance between both ends of the first cut portion 3b1 (the distance in the other direction), or may be substantially the same as the distance between both ends of the first cut portion 3b1 (the distance in the other direction). In other words, the both ends 3b3, 3b3 of the cut line 3b may be configured to overlap with a portion of the first cut portion 3b1 that is closer to the center than the both ends in the one direction, or may be configured to overlap with both ends of the first cut portion 3b1 in the one direction.

In this embodiment, the first extension portion 3 has a hanging through portion 3c between the two through portions 3a, 3a, through which another member is inserted to hang the packaging bag 1 from the other member. The hanging through portion 3c is formed by cutting the first extension portion 3 into a C-shape that opens toward the storage portion 2.

The second extension portion 4 is formed in a band shape extending in the other direction. The second extension portion 4 also has an insertion portion 4a that can be inserted into the through portion 3a of the first extension portion 3. The insertion portion 4a is formed such that a part of the second extension portion 4 (in this embodiment, the connecting portion 6) extends further in the extension direction of the second extension portion 4. In this embodiment, multiple (two) insertion portions 4a are formed with a gap in between in the other direction. The insertion portions 4a are also formed at positions corresponding to the through portions 3a in the one direction.

The insertion portion 4a has two convex portions 4b, 4b formed at opposing positions in the other direction so as to be convex in the other direction. The insertion portion 4a is also formed so as to taper from the two convex portions 4b, 4b toward the tip in the extension direction. The length between the two convex portions 4b, 4b in the insertion portion 4a (the length in the other direction) may be configured to be longer than the length of the through portion 3a in the other direction, or may be configured to be longer than the distance between both ends 3b3, 3b3 of the cut line in the other direction.

The packaging bag 1 configured as described above can be connected in a plurality of pieces. Specifically, the insertion portion 4a of the second extending portion 4 of one packaging bag 1 is inserted into the through portion 3a of the first extending portion 3 of the other packaging bag 1 (inserted along the one direction in this embodiment). As a result, the through portion 3a and the insertion portion 4a are configured to engage with each other in the pulling direction (in this embodiment, the direction along the one direction) when the insertion portion 4a is pulled out from the through portion 3a. More specifically, the two convex portions 4b, 4b of the insertion portion 4a are formed so as to be convex in the intersecting direction (in this embodiment, the other direction) at opposing positions in the intersecting direction (in this embodiment, the one direction) that intersects with the pulling direction (in this embodiment, the one direction). Therefore, when the insertion portion 4a is inserted into the through portion 3a, the two convex portions 4b, 4b of the insertion portion 4a are located outside the C-shaped cut line 3b. As a result, in the pull-out direction (in this embodiment, the direction along the one direction), the inner edge of the through portion 3a (in this embodiment, near both ends 3b3, 3b3 of the cut line 3b) engages with the two convex portions 4b, 4b of the insertion portion 4a. Then, as described above, the through portion 3a engages with the insertion portion 4a, forming a state in which one packaging bag 1 and another packaging bag 1 are connected.

When releasing the connection between the first packaging bag 1 and the second packaging bag 1, the second packaging bag 1 is swung around the insertion portion 4a in the other direction (a direction intersecting the pull-out direction). This causes one of the two convex portions 4b of the insertion portion 4a to move to the inside of the C-shaped cut line 3b, releasing the engagement between the penetration portion 3a and the insertion portion 4a and allowing the first packaging bag 1 to be separated from the second packaging bag 1.

As described above, the packaging bag according to the present invention makes it easier to visually identify multiple packaging bags containing items when they are displayed in a storefront or the like.

That is, the through-hole 3a of the first extension 3 of one packaging bag 1 is inserted into the insertion portion 4a of the second extension 4 of another packaging bag 1, and the through-hole 3a and the insertion portion 4a are configured to engage in a direction in which the insertion portion 4a is pulled out. This allows multiple packaging bags 1 to be connected in the planar direction and displayed, making the multiple packaging bags 1 easier to view.

The insertion portion 4a also has two convex portions 4b formed at opposing positions in a cross direction that crosses the pull-out direction so as to be convex in the cross direction. The length between the tips of the two convex portions 4b in the cross direction is configured to be longer than the length of the through portion 3a in the cross direction. This makes it easier for the two convex portions 4b to be hooked onto the inner edge of the through portion 3a in the direction in which the insertion portion 4a is pulled out from the state in which the insertion portion 4a is inserted into the through portion 3a. This makes it possible to maintain a good connection between the packaging bags 1.

The through portion 3a is composed of a cut line 3b formed by cutting the first extension portion 3 linearly. The cut line 3b is formed in a C-shape that opens toward the pull-out direction. The length between the tips of the two convex portions 4b in the cross direction is configured to be longer than the distance between both ends of the cut line 3b in the cross direction. This makes it easier for the two convex portions 4b to be hooked onto the inner edge of the through portion 3a near both ends of the cut line 3b in the direction in which the insertion portion 4a is pulled out from the state in which the insertion portion 4a is inserted into the through portion 3a. This makes it possible to better maintain the connection state between the packaging bags 1.

The packaging bag according to the present invention is not limited to the above embodiment, and various modifications are possible without departing from the gist of the present invention. In addition, the configurations and methods of the above-mentioned embodiments may be arbitrarily adopted and combined (the configurations and methods of one embodiment may be applied to the configurations and methods of other embodiments), and further, the configurations and methods of the various modified examples below may be arbitrarily selected and adopted in the configurations and methods of the above-mentioned embodiments.

For example, in the above embodiment, the entire first extension portion 3 and the second extension portion 4 constitute a part of the connecting portion 6, but this is not limited thereto. For example, at least one of the first extension portion 3 and the second extension portion 4 may have a portion where the opposing surfaces of the sheet materials are not connected to each other. Specifically, as shown in FIG. 2, the first extension portion 3 and the second extension portion 4 may be configured to have a non-connecting portion 7 where the opposing surfaces of the sheet materials are not connected to each other. A through portion 3a may be formed in the non-connecting portion 7 of the first extension portion 3, and an insertion portion 4a may be formed in the non-connecting portion 7 of the second extension portion 4. Note that in the non-connecting portion 7, parts of the sheet materials may or may not overlap each other.

In addition, in the above embodiment, the first extension portion 3 and the second extension portion 4 are formed at positions facing each other in the one direction, but this is not limited thereto. For example, as shown in FIG. 3, the first extension portion 3 may be configured to extend in the one direction, and the second extension portion 4 may be configured to extend in the other direction.

In the above embodiment, the packaging bag 1 is configured to have one folded end 5, but is not limited to this. For example, as shown in FIG. 4, the packaging bag 1 may be configured to have two folded ends 5, 5 formed at opposing positions in the other direction. In such a case, the packaging bag 1 may be configured to have a back lining portion 8 (a portion where the ends of the sheet material are connected in a region extending in the one direction) extending in the one direction at a position between the two folded ends 5, 5.

In addition, in the above embodiment, the cut line 3b is formed in a C-shape that opens toward the end side of the packaging bag 1 (the side away from the storage section 2), but this is not limited to this. For example, it may be formed in a C-shape that opens toward the storage section 2, or it may be formed in a straight line that extends in the other direction.

In the above embodiment, the packaging bag 1 is configured to have at least one folded end 5, but is not limited thereto, and may be configured to not have a folded end 5, for example, as shown in FIG. 5. In such a packaging bag 1, the two sheets of overlapping material are configured so that their outer peripheral ends are connected (sealed) to each other around the entire circumference. In other words, in such a packaging bag 1, a connecting portion 6 is formed around the entire circumference of the outer peripheral ends.

In addition, in the packaging bag 1 according to each of the above embodiments, when an opening for removing the stored items is formed between the areas extending in the other direction at opposing positions on the inner surface of the storage section 2 (for example, when the opening is formed by cutting the storage section 2 in the other direction), the packaging bag 1 may be configured to include a closing member (not shown) for closing the opening. For example, a closing member (so-called zipper member) that closes the opening by fitting into the recesses and protrusions can be installed in the opposing areas of the inner surface of the storage section 2 that form the opening.
