Description
The present invention relates to a main panel for a futon basket and the futon basket itself, and in particular to a main panel that can be stacked vertically to store in a small space, and a futon basket that can maintain a neat cubic shape.
A known prior art technology for futon baskets is a futon basket that is made by assembling a main panel that is U-shaped in cross section and consists of a front, bottom, and back (hereinafter, in this invention, the front and back are collectively referred to as the "elevation"), end panels that cover both ends of the main panel, and a lid panel.
The futon baskets are filled with filling material and stacked in a staircase pattern along the slope. A connecting coil is screwed into the wire on the top surface of the lower futon basket and the wire on the bottom of the vertical surface of the upper futon basket to connect them together to form an integrated civil engineering structure.
Patent Document 1 discloses a wire mesh panel in which a welded wire mesh is folded to form a bottom surface and two vertical surfaces, with horizontal iron wires thicker than the vertical iron wires arranged at the top of the wire mesh that forms the vertical surface, and the top horizontal iron wire is connected to the wire mesh on the bottom surface via a reinforcing member. This wire mesh panel is configured so that the angle between the vertical surface and the bottom surface is approximately 100°, and when the futon basket is assembled, the vertical surface is pulled inward with a stay to correct it to vertical.
The wire mesh panel of Patent Document 1 has the following problems.
<1> Because the obtuse-angled vertical surface is pulled inward at the intersection of the stays, when filler material is filled inside, the pressure of the filler causes the parts other than the intersections to bulge outward, significantly deteriorating the finished shape.
<2> Because the bottom corners are fixed at obtuse angles, when attaching stays to the vertical surfaces, the wire rods on the vertical surfaces must be grabbed by hand and pulled inward, which places a heavy physical burden on workers.
<3> Because the corners of the bottom surface are fixed at obtuse angles, when the elevation surface is pulled inward with stays, the center of the bottom surface bulges downward and the lower part of the elevation surface warps upward (Figure 6). This creates a gap between the bottom surface and the ground, making the structure unstable.
<4> Because the lower part of the vertical surface is curved upwards, when the futon baskets are stacked, the connecting coil attached to the lower futon basket may not reach the lower part of the vertical surface of the upper wire mesh panel, making it impossible to connect the futon baskets together.
The present invention aims to provide a futon basket main panel and futon basket that solves the above problems.
The main panel of the futon basket of the present invention is equipped with a frame wire consisting of a bottom line extending in the width direction and two vertical lines extending upward from both ends of the bottom line, and multiple connecting wires connecting the multiple frame wires in the longitudinal direction. The bottom part is formed by the multiple bottom lines and multiple connecting wires, and two opposing vertical parts are formed by the multiple vertical lines and multiple connecting wires. The main panel of the futon basket is characterized in that the connection angle between the bottom line and the vertical lines is 90 degrees, and the center of the bottom line is curved so that it bulges upward, forming two vertical parts with an upwardly open shape.
The main panel of the futon basket is characterized in that the connection angle between the bottom line and the vertical lines is 90 degrees, and the center of the bottom line is bent so that it protrudes upward, resulting in two vertical parts being configured with an upwardly open shape.
The main panel of the futon basket of the present invention may have an opening in the widthwise center of the bottom surface where the spacing between adjacent connecting wires is wider than the spacing in other parts.
The futon basket of the present invention is characterized by having multiple main body panels arranged along the longitudinal direction, end panels that seal the space between the vertical sections of the main body panels at the longitudinal ends, multiple connecting members that connect two consecutive main body panels in the longitudinal direction and the main body panel and the end panel, and multiple reinforcing members that restrain two opposing vertical sections or the bottom section and the vertical section.
The main panel and the futon basket of the present invention have the above-mentioned configuration, and therefore have at least one of the following effects.
<1> The two vertical panels have an upward-opening shape, so the main panels can be stacked one on top of the other and stored and transported in a small space (Figure 5).
<2> When the filler is filled, the weight of the filler pushes the bottom part downward, and the two vertical parts rise vertically. This prevents the pressure of the filler from concentrating on the intersection of the vertical parts and the stays, ensuring that the vertical parts maintain a flat, neat cubic shape.
<3> By stepping on the center of the bottom part with your foot, the two upright parts can be raised vertically. This makes it easy to attach the stays and increases work efficiency.
<4> Because the corners of the bottom surface are fixed at 90°, when the vertical surface is set vertically, the bottom surface becomes horizontal and the lower part of the vertical surface does not float up. Therefore, when the futon baskets are stacked, the center of gravity is stable and it is easy to connect the coils to the futon baskets on the lower level.
<5> When an opening is provided in the center of the bottom portion, the bottom portion can be easily deformed.
The present invention will now be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
In addition, directional terms such as "height,""width,""length,""top," and "bottom" used in this specification refer to the respective directions when the main panel of the futon basket of the present invention is placed on the ground and viewed from the front with the two upright sections facing both sides in the width direction.
<1> Main Body Panel The main body panel 10 of the futon basket of the present invention is a component of the futon basket 1.
The main body panel 10 is formed by integrally forming a bottom portion 10a and two vertical portions 10b using a welded wire mesh bent into an approximately U-shape. In detail, the main body panel 10 is formed by connecting a plurality of frame wires 11, each of which has an approximately inverted U-shape when viewed from the front, in the longitudinal direction with a plurality of connecting wires 12.
One feature of the main panel 10 is that while the connection angle between the bottom portion 10a and the vertical portion 10b is maintained at 90 degrees, the bottom portion 10a is curved upward, causing the two vertical portions 10b to be configured with an upwardly open shape.
In addition, in the main body panel 10 of the present invention, the curved shape of the bottom portion 10a, the bent shape of the bottom portion 10a, and the shape in which the two vertical portions 10b are open upward refer to the shape before being used as a component of the futon basket 1, i.e., the shape before the vertical portions 10b are restrained by the reinforcing material 50 or before the filling material A is filled inside.
<2> Frame Wire Member The frame wire member 11 is a wire member extending in the width direction and the height direction of the main panel 10 .
The frame wire 11 is composed of a bottom line 11a extending in the width direction and two vertical lines 11b extending upward from both ends of the bottom line 11a.
The bottom line 11a and the elevation line 11b are connected at 90 degrees, and the center of the bottom line 11a is curved so as to bulge upward. As a result, the two elevation lines 11b present a generally inverted U-shape that opens upward when viewed from the front.
<3> Connecting Wire The connecting wire 12 is a wire extending in the length direction of the main panel 10 .
A plurality of frame wires 11 are connected in the longitudinal direction by a plurality of connecting wires 12, so that the connecting wires 12 and the bottom line 11a form the bottom portion 10a, and the connecting wires 12 and the vertical line 11b form two vertical portions 10b.
In this embodiment, an opening 10c is provided in the widthwise center of the bottom surface 10a, where the pitch of the connecting wires 12 is wider than in other portions.
<4> Openings The openings 10c are portions that facilitate deformation of the bottom portion 10a.
The openings 10c are configured by reducing the number of connecting wires 12 near the center of the bottom surface 10a in the width direction and widening the pitch of the connecting wires 12 compared to the vicinity of both sides in the width direction. Here, "near the center of the width direction" means, for example, a range of about 1/3 of the center of the bottom surface 10a, but it may also be about 1/2 or about 1/4.
Providing an opening 10c in the center of the bottom surface portion 10a makes it easier to deform the bottom surface portion 10a, as described below.
However, the openings 10c are not an essential component, and the bottom surface 10a may not be provided with the openings 10c, and the pitch of the connecting wires 12 may be uniform.
<5> Futon basket (Fig. 2)
The futon basket 1 comprises a plurality of main body panels 10, a plurality of end panels 20, a plurality of cover panels 30, a plurality of connecting members 40, and a plurality of reinforcing members 50. For the sake of convenience, Fig. 2 shows only one main body panel 10.
The end panels 20 are plate-shaped members that cover both ends of the futon basket 1. The lid panel 30 is a plate-shaped member that covers the top of the futon basket 1. In this example, the end panels 20 and the lid panel 30 are made of rectangular welded wire mesh.
The connecting material 40 is a member that interconnects the main panel 10, the end panel 20, and the cover panel 30. In this example, a steel coil that is wound around the wire of the panel is used as the connecting material 40. Note that the connecting material 40 is not limited to a coil, and may be other known connecting means such as a wire or a clip.
<5.1> Reinforcing Material The reinforcing material 50 is a member that resists the pressure of the filling material A by mutually restraining the opposing vertical surfaces 10b.
The length of the reinforcing material 50 corresponds to the distance between the two upright portions 10b when the reinforcing material 50 is placed vertically.
In this example, a metal stay having hooks at both ends for hooking onto the wire of the vertical portion 10b is used as the reinforcing member 50. Note that the reinforcing member 50 is not limited to a stay with hooks, and may be a frame-shaped body with hooks, a wire rope, or the like.
<6> Assembly of the Futon Basket The futon basket 1 can be assembled, for example, as follows.
A plurality of main body panels 10 are arranged along the longitudinal direction, and the ends of the main body panels 10 are connected by connecting members 40 .
The space between the vertical surfaces 10b of the main body panels 10 at the longitudinal ends is filled with end panels 20 and connected with connecting members 40.
The reinforcing member 50 is bridged between the two opposing vertical surface portions 10b to connect them. The reinforcing member 50 may be bridged diagonally between the bottom surface portion 10a and the vertical surface portion 10b.
In addition, since the bottom surface portion 10a of the main panel 10 is curved and the vertical surface portion 10b is open upward, the shape of the end does not match the outer shape of the end panel 20. For this reason, the two vertical surfaces 10b near the end panel 20 are mutually restrained by the reinforcing material 50, so that the two vertical surfaces 10b are drawn together to match the shapes of the ends.
Filling material A, such as crushed stone or broken granite, is filled inside the main panel 10. As a result, the upwardly curved bottom surface 10a is deformed horizontally by the load of the filling material A, and the two upright surfaces 10b connected to the bottom surface 10a at 90° rise up vertically.
The upper part of the main body panel 10 is covered with a cover panel 30 and connected with a connecting material 40 .
<7> Installation of reinforcing material Since the length of the reinforcing material 50 corresponds to the distance between the two vertical portions 10b when in the vertical state, in the upward open state before the vertical portions 10b are made vertical by the load of the filling material A, the hooks of the reinforcing material 50 attached to the vertical portions 10b do not reach the wire of the opposing vertical portion 10b.
In this example, when installing the reinforcing member 50, a worker steps on the wire rod of the bottom surface portion 10a with his/her foot and applies his/her weight to the wire rod. Then, the curved portion of the bottom surface portion 10a is pressed against the ground by the worker's weight, and the upright portion 10b rises inward.
In this state, by hooking the reinforcing material 50 onto the vertical surface portion 10b, the reinforcing material 50 can be easily stretched across the vertical surface portion 10b without having to grab the vertical surface portion 10b with one's hand and pull it with a large force.
[Example of a bent bottom surface (Figure 4)]
The main body panel 10 in the first embodiment has a structure in which the bottom surface portion 10a has a curved shape, but in this embodiment, the bottom surface portion 10a has a bent shape that protrudes upward.
In this example, the bottom line 11a of the frame wire 11 is bent so as to protrude upward, and the connection angle between the bottom line 11a and the elevation line 11b is set to 90 degrees.
As a result, the two upright portions 10b open upward, forming a continuous ridge-like protrusion in the longitudinal center of the bottom portion 10a.
The other configurations are the same as those in the first embodiment.
