Description

The present invention relates to shoes.

Shoes that are easy to put on and take off, particularly for infants and the elderly, are often used. Some shoes have an opening that is connected to the toe side of the opening, a sand guard (tongue) is placed on the inside of the opening and can be pulled up to open it wide, and the outside of the sand guard that closes the opening can be tightened with a band that goes across the upper.
An example of an easy-to-put-on shoe is disclosed in Patent Document 1, in which the pulled-up sand guard member is held by a reinforcing member, allowing the shoe to be put on without having to use the hands.

In shoes that can hold the sand guard in a pulled-up state, if the sand guard is pulled up too far, it will reach the outside of the band on the toe side of the opening, and the band will tighten without the sand guard being returned to its original position. This requires the pulled-up sand guard to be returned by hand, which is cumbersome.
Furthermore, if the sand guard is left exposed, there is a problem that sand, dirt, etc. may get into the shoe through the opening.
Therefore, there is a high demand for shoes that are easier and more comfortable to put on, and improvements are needed.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS Hereinafter, an embodiment of a shoe according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to FIGS.
The shoe 1 of the present invention is easy to put on because the sand guard member 20, which is pulled up from the opening 12 of the upper 10 when putting on the shoe, can be automatically returned to its original position by releasing the sand guard member 20 (see Figs. 1 and 2).
The shoe 1 is composed of an upper 10 having an opening 11 for inserting a foot and an opening 12 formed from the opening 11 to the toe side, a sand guard member 20 arranged on the inside of the upper 10 so as to close the opening 12 and fixed at the tip 22 on the toe side, and a connecting member 40 provided between the sand guard member 20 and at least one of the openings 12 on the inside of the upper 10 (see Figs. 1 and 2). The connecting member 40 is provided to regulate the lifting angle θ (see Figs. 3 and 4) of the sand guard member 20 from the tip fixing part, and to automatically return the sand guard member 20 to its original position when the lifted state is released.

The upper 10 is formed integrally with the sole 50 by rising from the sole 50 to encase the foot, and is formed by assembling and sewing or gluing a number of parts together. The upper 10 is formed with an opening 11 for inserting the foot on the heel side, and an opening 12 is formed from the opening 11 to the toe side in a roughly U-shape in plan view, and the opening 12 opens the upper 10 wide, making it easy to put on (see Figures 1 and 2).

The sand guard member 20 is wider than the width of the opening 12, and its length (length in the toe-heel direction) is longer than the length L1 of the opening 12, and is large enough to hold the base end 21 protruding into the opening 11 (see Figures 1 and 2). The sand guard member 20 is placed inside the upper 10 so as to close the opening 12, and is fixed by sewing the tip end 22 on the toe side. The sand guard member 20 can open the opening 12 widely by holding the base end 21 inside the opening 11 and pulling up the sewn part of the tip end 22 on the toe side. For this reason, the sand guard member 20 is not fixed to the upper 10 on both sides of the opening 12 by sewing or the like (see Figures 3 and 4). When the shoe 1 is put on by inserting the foot into the opening 11 and then pulled back, the sand guard members 20 overlap so as to come into contact with both sides of the upper 10 inside the opening 12, covering the front part of the foot and preventing sand, dirt, etc. from entering through the opening 12.

The sand guard member 20 is not particularly limited in its configuration or material, but may be made of multiple materials, such as an interior material covered with an exterior material. The interior material may be, for example, a fabric or a foam. The foam can be used to ensure cushioning and prevent deformation due to shape recovery. The foam can be adjusted, for example, by Asker C hardness or density to ensure strength and comfort by preventing excessive hardness, and these values may be appropriately determined based on past experience and experimental results.
Specifically, a soft polyurethane foam is used as the foam, and the thickness is set to 2 to 5 mm and the hardness is set to 50 to 200 N (JIS K6400).
The exterior material may be, for example, soft mesh, canvas, tricot, microsuede, polyurethane synthetic leather, natural leather, or the like.
The hardness of the sand guard member 20 is preferably 40 to 60 on the Asker C scale.

The shoe 1 of the present invention may have a fastening member 30 that is bridged across the upper 10 on both sides of the opening 12, with one end 31 fixed and the other end 32 releasably provided.
The fastening member 30 is, for example, a band formed in a horizontally oriented approximately U-shape and is hung on the outer surface of the upper 10 on both sides of the opening 12 (see Figs. 1 and 2). The fastening member 30 is fixed by sewing one end 31, which is a continuous valley part of the approximately U-shape, to the surface of the upper 13 on the arch side of the shoe 1, and the other end 32, which is divided into two, is provided on the front side of the upper 14 on the little toe side so as to be freely engaged and detached. The fastening member 30 has one hook-and-loop fastener 33 attached to its back side (the surface that contacts the inner upper 10), and the other corresponding hook-and-loop fastener 34 attached to the surface of the upper 14 on the little toe side. The fastening member 30 can be hung so as to cover the opening 12 and fastened with the hook-and-loop fasteners 33 and 34, so that it can cover and fasten the front instep of the foot together with the sand guard member 20 on the inside of the upper 10. The fastening member 30 is ensured to have a strength sufficient to withstand repeated opening and closing of the one end 31. The necessary strength of the fastening member 30 can be ensured, for example, by sewing a decorative fabric onto the front surface of the resin sheet and sewing one of the hook-and-loop fasteners 33 onto substantially the entire back surface.
In addition, the fastening member 30 is not limited to the above-mentioned structure, and can be constructed using other structures and materials. In addition, the fastening member 30 is not limited to the one that is fixed to the vamp 10 separately by sewing, but can be used as a band-shaped fastening member 30 by extending the protruding piece that protrudes integrally with the vamp 10 on the arch side.

The connecting member 40 is provided between the sand guard member 20 and at least one of the insides of the upper 10 at the opening 12. The connecting member 40 regulates the lifting angle θ from the fixed part (tip fixed part) sewn to the tip 22 of the sand guard member 20, and is provided so that the sand guard member 20 automatically returns to its original position (inside the upper 10) when the lifted state is released. The sand guard member 20 is in the form of a roughly fan-shaped sheet, and one straight edge 41 is fixed to the sand guard member 20 by sewing or the like, and the other straight edge 42 is fixed by sewing to the upper 10 on the inside of the opening 12.

By providing the connecting member 40 between at least one of the uppers 10 and the opening 12, when the base end 21 of the sand guard member 20 is grasped and pulled up, both sides of the sand guard member 20 in the width direction are pulled by the connecting member 40, the cross section direction is deformed into an arch shape, the width is narrowed, and it is not in direct contact with the opening 12 (the upper 10). When the sand guard member 20 is pulled up and released, the sand guard member 20 in the narrowed state will automatically return to the inside of the upper 10 from between the opening 12. When the sand guard member 20 automatically returns to the inside of the upper 10, the restoring force from the connecting member 40, that is, the weight of the connecting member 40 itself, and the tensile force due to the rigidity and elasticity of the connecting member 40 itself act to encourage it to return to its original position.
The connecting member 40 may be provided between at least one of the openings 12 and the inside of the upper 10, but it is preferable to provide it on both sides. If it is provided on both sides, the sand guard member 20 can be returned to the inside of the upper 10 more reliably.

The connecting member 40 has its end 43 on the center side of the approximately fan-shaped part located at the sewn part of the tip 22 of the sand guard member 20, and its upper end 44 is joined toward the opening 11. In this way, both sides of the sand guard member 20 are blocked by the connecting member 40, and it is possible to prevent not only sand and dirt but also water from entering through the gap inside the opening 12. The joining position of the connecting member 40 is preferably such that the upper end 44 is closer to the upper end of the opening 12 in order to exert a large restoring force that returns the sand guard member 20 to its original position. The joining range L of the connecting member 40 is preferably 60 to 100% of the length L1 of the edge of the opening 12 (see Figure 1). This joining range L indicates the extent to which the connecting member 40 exists relative to the sand guard member 20, and the rigidity and tensile force of the connecting member 40 provided in this joining range L allows the sand guard member 20 to automatically return to its original position when it is pulled up and then released from the pulled-up state. If the joining range L is 60% or less, the rigidity of the connection member 40 and the restoring force due to the tensile force tend to be insufficient, making it difficult to dynamically return the sand guard member 20 to its original position.

The connecting member 40 is preferably of a substantially sector-shaped size that regulates the lifting angle θ with the tip 22 of the sand guard member 20 as the center and that results in a lifting angle θ of 30 to 135 degrees (see Figures 3 and 4). The lifting angle θ refers to the angle from the initial state in which the sand guard member is not lifted to the state in which the sand guard member is lifted. By using a connecting member 40 with a lifting angle θ in this range, the sand guard member 20 can be automatically returned to its original position by the rigidity and tensile force of the connecting member 40. If the lifting angle θ is 30 degrees or less, the opening of the opening 12 is small and it is difficult to obtain the effect of making it easy to wear. On the other hand, if the lifting angle θ exceeds 135 degrees, the rigidity and tensile force of the connecting member 40 for returning the sand guard member 20 to its original position tend to shift in the direction of action, making it difficult to effectively return the sand guard member 20 to its original position.

Such a connecting member 40 is arranged between the sand guard member 20 and the upper 10 in a mountain-folded or valley-folded state (see Fig. 5 and Fig. 6). When the connecting member 40 is in a mountain-folded state, the middle part in the width direction is in a convex state toward the outside of the shoe 1, and when the connecting member is in a valley-folded state, the middle part in the width direction is in a concave state toward the outside of the shoe 1.
In the mountain-folded state of the connecting member 40, one edge (one end edge) 41 is overlapped in the same direction as the side edge 23 of the sand guard member 20 and sewn to the outer surface 24 of the sand guard member 20, and the other edge (other end edge) 42 that is folded back is sewn to the inner surface of the upper 10 so that it faces the sole 50 side, and fixed to maintain the mountain-folded state. According to the connecting member 40 that is sewn in this way and has a mountain-folded state, the connecting member 40 is smoothly folded between the sand guard member 20 and the upper 10, and the sand guard member 20 and the upper 10 can be prevented from directly contacting each other more reliably, and the raised sand guard member 20 can be smoothly returned to its original position by releasing the hand and releasing the raised state.
Furthermore, when the connecting member 40 is in a mountain-folded state, the top of the mountain fold does not extend outside the opening 12 when it is pulled back to its original position, so that the fastening member 30 (see Figures 1 and 2) can securely hold down the front instep while maintaining the same appearance as conventional shoes.

The connecting member 40 may also be in a valley-folded state. In this case, one edge (one end edge) 41 is overlapped in the opposite direction to the side edge 23 of the sand guard member 20 and sewn to the outer surface 24 of the sand guard member 20 so as to follow the outer surface of the sand guard member 20, and the other edge (other end edge) 42 is overlapped and sewn to the tip edge of the inner surface of the upper 10 so as to face outward, thereby maintaining the valley-folded state (see FIG. 6). The connecting member 40 in the valley-folded state can also be smoothly folded between the sand guard member 20 and the upper 10, preventing the sand guard member 20 and the upper 10 from coming into direct contact with each other, and the pulled-up sand guard member 20 can be returned to its original position by releasing the hand and releasing the pulled-up state. It is preferable that the connecting member 40 in the valley-folded state is in a state where the top of the valley fold does not come out from the side edge 23 of the sand guard member 20 to the inside of the shoe when pulled back to its original position. In addition, in a valley-folded connection member 40, dirt and other debris may accumulate more easily in the valleys than in a mountain-folded connection member 40, so the mountain-folded state is preferable.

The connecting member 40 is not limited to a configuration of a roughly fan-shaped sheet, and may be, for example, roughly trapezoidal or roughly rectangular. Also, the connecting member 40 is not limited to a single continuous sheet, and may be configured as a sheet or string-like structure divided into multiple pieces, as long as it is within the joining range L. Also, the material of the connecting member 40 is not particularly limited, and may be, for example, rubber, fabric, natural leather, synthetic leather, etc. Preferably, rubber or synthetic leather is used, and by using rubber with good elasticity, the sand guard member 20 can be easily returned to its original position by utilizing the elasticity of the rubber, and by using synthetic leather, friction between the sand guard member 20 and the upper 10 can be reduced, and the rigidity (shape recovery, etc.) makes it easier to return to the original position.

When putting on such a shoe 1, the base end 21 of the sand guard member 20 protruding from the opening 12 to the opening 11 is grabbed by hand and pulled up around the tip 22, and the opening 12 connected to the opening 11 is opened wide to insert the foot. This makes it easier to insert the foot by opening the opening 12 in addition to the opening 11. By pulling up the sand guard member 20, both sides in the width direction of the sand guard member 20 are pulled by the connecting member 40, and the cross section is deformed into an arch shape, narrowing the width, and the sand guard member 20 is not in direct contact with the opening 12 (vamp 10).
After inserting the foot, when the hand that was holding the sand guard member 20 is released from the pulled-up state, the sand guard member 20, which has narrowed in an arch shape, is forced to return to its original position by its own weight and by tensile forces due to the rigidity and elasticity of the connecting member 40 itself, and the sand guard member 20 automatically returns to the inside of the upper 10 through the opening 12.
After the sand guard member 20 is automatically returned to its original position in this way, the band-like fastening member 30 is stretched over the outside of the opening 12 to cover it, and fastened with hook-and-loop fasteners 33, 34, the front part of the foot is fastened, and the shoe 1 can be easily put on.

With such a shoe 1, the shoe 1 can be smoothly put on by simply releasing the hand without having to pull up the sand guard member 20 too far and tightening the band while the sand guard member 20 is sticking out of the opening 12. This also prevents sand, dirt, etc. from entering the shoe 1 through the opening 12 while the sand guard member 20 is sticking out.
By making the shoes 1 easy to put on, preparation for walking, which is the original purpose of putting on the shoes 1, can be done quickly and easily, thereby improving the functionality of the shoes 1.
Furthermore, experiments were carried out to confirm whether the sand guard member 20 would automatically return to its original position with or without the connecting member 40 when the width of the opening 12 was 45 mm and the lateral length of the base end 21 of the sand guard member 20 was 65 mm. When the connecting member 40 was present, the sand guard member 20 automatically returned to its original position. On the other hand, when the connecting member 40 was not present, the sand guard member 20 did not automatically return to its original position.

As described above in detail with respect to one embodiment, the shoe 1 of the present invention has an upper 10 with an opening 11 for inserting foot and an opening 12 formed by connecting to the toe side of the opening 11; a sand guard member 20 arranged on the inside of the upper 10 to close the opening 12, and a tip end 22 on the toe side is fixed; and a connecting member 40 arranged between the sand guard member 20 and at least one of the inside of the upper 10 of the opening 12; the connecting member 40 regulates the lifting angle θ of the sand guard member 20 from the tip fixing part, and the sand guard member 20 is automatically returned to its original position by releasing the lifting state.
According to this configuration, the sand guard member 20 can be grasped and pulled up by hand, and the opening 12 connected to the opening 11 can be opened widely, making it easy to insert the foot. After inserting the foot, the hand that grasped the sand guard member 20 is released from the pulled-up state, and the weight of the sand guard member 20, which has narrowed in an arch shape, and the tensile force due to the rigidity and elasticity of the connecting member 40 itself act to automatically return the sand guard member 20 to its original position, making it easy to put on the shoe 1, making it easy to prepare for walking in a short time, and improving the functionality of the shoe 1. In addition, the sand guard member 20 does not remain outside, but automatically returns to an appropriate position, making the shoe 1 comfortable to wear.

The connecting member 40 is preferably formed to a size that limits the lifting angle θ of the sand guard member 20 to a range of 30 to 135 degrees.
According to this configuration, by setting the lifting angle θ of the sand guard member 20 within this range, the opening portion 12 connected to the opening portion 11 can be opened widely to make it easier to put on the shoes, and the rigidity and tensile force of the connecting member 40 allows the sand guard member 20 to be automatically returned to its original position, making it easy to put on the shoes 1.

The length of the connecting member 40 is preferably 60 to 100% of the length of the edge of the opening.
According to this configuration, by providing the connecting member 40 in this joining range L, when the sand guard member 20 is released after being pulled up and the pulled-up state is released, the sand guard member 20 can be automatically returned to its original position due to the rigidity and tensile force of the connecting member 40.

The connecting member 40 is provided in a mountain-folded state with the middle portion facing the outside of the upper 10.
According to this configuration, the connecting member 40 is smoothly folded between the sand guard member 20 and the upper cover 10, which more reliably prevents the sand guard member 20 and the upper cover 10 from coming into direct contact with each other, and the pulled-up sand guard member 20 can be smoothly returned to its original position by releasing the pulled-up state by releasing the hands.

The connecting member 40 has one end edge overlapped in the same direction as the side end edge of the sand guard member 20 and fixed to the outer surface 24 of the sand guard member 20, and the other end edge folded back is fixed to the inner surface of the upper 10 so as to face the sole part 50 side, so that the mountain-folded state can be maintained.
According to this configuration, by making the connecting member 40 in such a sewn state in a mountain fold state, the connecting member 40 can be smoothly folded between the sand guard member 20 and the upper cover 10, and it is possible to more reliably prevent the sand guard member 20 and the upper cover 10 from coming into direct contact with each other, and by releasing the pulled-up state by releasing the hand, the sand guard member 20 can be smoothly returned to its original position.
