壁板に非円形状の継ぎ手挿通孔が形成されている消火栓格納箱の上記継ぎ手挿通孔に、係止部を有する継ぎ手部材を挿入し、上記継ぎ手部材の係止部を上記継ぎ手挿通孔の内周面に係止させて、上記継ぎ手部材を上記継ぎ手挿通孔に挿通させた状態にて上記壁板に対して相対的に回動不能に固定する工程と、
上記消火栓格納箱の壁板に配設、固定した上記継ぎ手部材の流入口に、上記消火栓格納箱の外方に配管された給水管から分岐し且つ水が充満されていない分岐管を接続する工程と、
上記継ぎ手部材の流出側端部に消火栓弁の流入口部を接続させると共に、上記消火栓弁の流出口に消火用ホースの基端を接続させる工程とを有することを特徴とする消火栓設備の施工方法。
