Description

The present invention relates to an information presentation system, an information presentation method, and an information presentation program capable of presenting facility information to facility users.

Conventionally, there is known a system for searching for facilities such as restaurants, in which a user inputs search criteria such as the area and the planned date and time of use, and the system searches for facilities that meet the search criteria, presents the search results to the user, and accepts reservations from the user for the desired facility (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

There is also a known system in which, when a user who has used a facility posts a comment such as an impression or evaluation of the facility, the comment is displayed in the search results. The user can refer to the comment in the search results when deciding which facility to reserve. However, since the system displays an unspecified number of comments associated with the facility included in the search results, the comments may not be useful to the user. In this way, the posted comments may not provide useful information for the user who uses the facility.

The object of the present invention is to provide an information presentation system, an information presentation method, and an information presentation program that can present useful information to facility users.

One embodiment of the present invention is an information presentation system that includes an extraction processing unit that extracts specific comments identified based on at least one of the planned date of use, the planned time of use, and the purpose of use of a second user who can use the facility from a storage unit that stores comments posted by a first user who has used the facility in association with the facility, and a presentation processing unit that presents the specific comments extracted by the extraction processing unit to the second user.

Another aspect of the present invention is an information presentation method that includes an extraction step of extracting, from a storage unit that stores comments posted by a first user who has used a facility in association with the facility, specific comments identified based on at least one of the planned date of use, the planned time of use, and the purpose of use of a second user who can use the facility, and a presentation step of presenting the specific comments extracted by the extraction step to the second user, using one or more processors.

Another aspect of the present invention is an information presentation program for causing one or more processors to execute an extraction step of extracting specific comments identified based on at least one of the planned date of use, the planned time of use, and the purpose of use of a second user who can use the facility from a storage unit that stores comments posted by a first user who has used the facility in association with the facility, and a presentation step of presenting the specific comments extracted by the extraction step to the second user.

The present invention provides an information presentation system, an information presentation method, and an information presentation program that can present useful information to facility users.

The information presentation device 1 and the user terminals 2 are capable of communicating with each other via a communication network N1 such as the Internet, a LAN, a WAN, or a public telephone line.

The information presentation device 1 is an information processing device that can receive search conditions for searching information from the user terminal 2, executes search processing based on the search conditions, and presents the search results on the user terminal 2. In the following embodiment, the information presentation system 100 will be described using an example in which the search target is a restaurant that provides food and drink. The search target may be various facilities such as a hotel, karaoke shop, bowling alley, table tennis hall, hot spring facility, retail store, and service provision facility. The user terminal 2 is an information processing device operated by a user (hereinafter also referred to as a searcher) who requests the search and presentation of information on the search target. The user terminal 2 is also an information processing device operated by a user (hereinafter also referred to as a poster) who uses a facility and posts comments such as impressions and evaluations of the facility. The user terminal 2 operated by the poster may be an operation terminal installed in the facility.

In this embodiment, the information presentation device 1 alone corresponds to the information presentation system of the present invention, but the information presentation system of the present invention may include one or more components of the information presentation device 1 and the user terminal 2. For example, if the components of the information presentation device 1 and the user terminal 2 work together to share and execute various information presentation processes (see FIG. 8) described below, a system including multiple components that execute the processes can be considered as the information presentation system of the present invention. For example, it is conceivable that the information presentation device 1 and the user terminal 2 constitute the information presentation system of the present invention.

The communication I/F 14 is a communication interface that connects the information presentation device 1 to the communication network N1 by wire or wirelessly and performs data communication in accordance with a specified communication protocol with an external device such as the user terminal 2 via the communication network N1.

The operation display unit 13 is a user interface that includes a display unit such as a liquid crystal display or an organic EL display that displays various information, and an operation unit such as a mouse, keyboard, or touch panel that accepts operations.

The storage unit 12 is a non-volatile storage unit such as a hard disk drive (HDD) or solid state drive (SSD) that stores various information. Specifically, data such as facility information D1 and comment information D2 are stored in the storage unit 12. The facility information D1 includes information about the facility to be searched. The comment information D2 includes information about comments posted by one or more users. The storage unit 12 also stores image data of facility images provided by the facility (facility image data), image data of photos posted by users (captured image data), map data showing the location of the facility, and the like. FIG. 2 is a diagram showing an example of facility information D1, and FIG. 3 is a diagram showing an example of comment information D2.

As shown in FIG. 3, comment information D2 includes information (comment information) such as "comment ID," "poster ID," "posting date and time," "facility ID," "date and time of use," "purpose of use," "image ID," and "individual evaluation value" corresponding to each comment posted by the poster.

Here, for example, a user using the information presentation device 1, that is, a user using the reservation service (reservation site) and comment posting service (review site) provided by the information presentation system 100, uses the user terminal 2 to access the review site after using a restaurant. The user then logs in by entering an ID and password, and posts comments such as impressions and ratings of the restaurant they used. In addition, if necessary, the user may attach a photo (captured image) taken at the restaurant they used to the comment and post it. The comments posted by the user are assigned identification information (comment ID) and stored in the comment information D2 in the memory unit 12.

The "comment ID" in the comment information D2 is identification information for the comment and is assigned by the control unit 11. The "poster ID" is identification information for the poster (user), for example the login ID of the user who posted the comment. The "posting date and time" is the date and time when the user posted the comment, for example the date and time when the information presentation device 1 acquired (received) the comment. The "facility ID" is identification information for the facility and is associated with the facility ID included in the facility information D1 in FIG. 2. For example, if a user selects restaurant S1 on a review site, the facility ID "S0001" for restaurant S1 included in the facility information D1 is registered in the "facility ID" in the comment information D2. The "usage date and time" is the date and time when the user used (visited) the facility and is entered by the user.

"Purpose of use" is information related to the purpose for which the user used the restaurant, such as information on the time of use, such as lunch or dinner, information on events held at specific times, such as Christmas, Valentine's Day, Halloween, year-end parties, New Year's parties, Father's Day, and Mother's Day, information on the attributes of the user or user group, such as dates, business entertainment, dinner parties, girls' nights, and welcome/farewell parties, and information on the content of use, such as the type of food genre, the type of food course, and the price of the food. The user can select any purpose from a number of purposes set in advance. The control unit 11 may specify the purpose of use based on the content of the comment entered by the user and register it in the comment information D2. "Individual evaluation value" is the evaluation value (evaluation points) assigned by the user, and the user can select or input, for example, a value in the range of 0 to 5 points.

In another embodiment, some or all of the information such as the facility information D1, the comment information D2, and the image data (facility image data, captured image data) may be stored in another server accessible from the information presentation device 1 via the communication network N1. For example, the comment information D2 and the captured image data (posted photos) may be stored in an SNS (social network service) server. In this case, the control unit 11 of the information presentation device 1 may obtain the information from the other server and execute various processes such as the information presentation process described below (see FIG. 8).

The storage unit 12 also stores layout data and image data for generating various web pages, such as a comment posting page P1 (see FIG. 4) included in the review site displayed on the user terminal 2, a search condition setting page, search result pages P2-P4 (see FIG. 5-7), a reservation page, and a route guidance page included in the reservation site displayed on the user terminal 2. In this embodiment, the control unit 11 of the information presentation device 1 can generate the various web pages and transmit information about the web pages to the user terminal 2, thereby causing the user terminal 2 to display the various web pages. In another embodiment, the control unit 11 of the information presentation device 1 can cause the control unit 21 of the user terminal 2 to display the various web pages by transmitting data required to display the various web pages to the user terminal 2.

The review site and the reservation site may be a collection of web pages belonging to one preset domain, but the reservation site may also be a collection of web pages belonging to multiple domains stored in the storage unit 12 of the same information presentation device 1. The various pages included in the review site and the reservation site may be stored in a distributed manner on multiple servers.

Furthermore, the storage unit 12 stores a control program such as an information presentation program for causing the control unit 11 to execute an information presentation process (see FIG. 8) described below. For example, the information presentation program is non-temporarily recorded on a computer-readable recording medium such as a CD or DVD, and is read by a reading device (not shown) such as a CD drive or DVD drive provided in the information presentation device 1 and stored in the storage unit 12.

The control unit 11 has control devices such as a CPU, a ROM, and a RAM. The CPU is a processor that executes various arithmetic processes. The ROM is a non-volatile storage unit in which control programs such as a BIOS and an OS for causing the CPU to execute various arithmetic processes are stored in advance. The RAM is a volatile or non-volatile storage unit that stores various information, and is used as a temporary storage memory (work area) for various processes executed by the CPU. The control unit 11 controls the information presentation device 1 by having the CPU execute various control programs that are stored in advance in the ROM or the storage unit 12.

Incidentally, there is a known system in which, when a user who has used a facility posts a comment such as an impression or evaluation of the facility, the comment is displayed in the search results. The user can refer to the comments in the search results to decide which facility to reserve. However, since the conventional system displays an unspecified number of comments associated with the facility included in the search results, the comments may not be useful to the user. In this way, the posted comments may not be useful information for the user who uses the facility. In response to this, the information presentation system 100 according to this embodiment is capable of presenting useful information to facility users.

Specifically, as shown in FIG. 1, the control unit 11 includes various processing units such as an acquisition processing unit 111, a search processing unit 112, an extraction processing unit 113, a presentation processing unit 114, a reservation processing unit 115, and an evaluation processing unit 116. The control unit 11 functions as the various processing units by executing various processes according to the information presentation program with the CPU. Some or all of the processing units may be configured with electronic circuits. The information presentation program may be a program for causing multiple processors to function as the processing units.

The acquisition processing unit 111 acquires comment information including comments posted by users (posters: an example of the first user of the present invention). The comment information includes information such as a user ID, store name, date and time of use, purpose of use, photos, ratings, and comments, which are entered into a comment posting page P1 (see FIG. 4) of the review site. When the acquisition processing unit 111 acquires the comment information, it registers any identification information in the "comment ID" of the comment information D2, registers the user ID in the "poster ID" of the comment information D2, registers the date and time when the comment was acquired in the "posting date and time" of the comment information D2, registers identification information corresponding to the store name (see FIG. 2) in the "facility ID" of the comment information D2, registers the date and time of use in the "date and time of use" of the comment information D2, registers the purpose of use in the "purpose of use" of the comment information D2, registers identification information of the photo in the "image ID" of the comment information D2, and registers the rating in the "individual evaluation value" of the comment information D2.

The acquisition processing unit 111 may determine the purpose of use based on the content of the comment, and register it in the "purpose of use" of the comment information D2. The search processing unit 112 executes a search process in response to a search request including search conditions for a facility corresponding to a user (searcher: an example of a second user of the present invention). The search processing unit 112 is an example of a search processing unit of the present invention. Specifically, in the search process, the search processing unit 112 searches and extracts facilities that satisfy the search conditions from the facility information D1 (see FIG. 2). For example, when the searcher inputs at least one of the search conditions, which are the planned date of use, the planned time of use, the region (area), the cuisine genre, the number of users, and the purpose of use, on the search condition setting page displayed on the user terminal 2, the search processing unit 112 searches for facilities that satisfy the search conditions from the facility information D1. The search processing unit 112 is an example of a search processing unit of the present invention.

In addition, if categories corresponding to the intended use (Christmas specials, year-end party specials, lunch specials, etc.) are displayed in a selectable manner on the reservation site (search site), the search processing unit 112 may obtain the intended use as the search condition based on the category selected by the searcher.

The extraction processing unit 113 extracts specific comments identified based on the search conditions from among the comments associated with the facility searched (extracted) by the search processing unit 112 in the comment information D2 (see FIG. 3). Specifically, the extraction processing unit 113 extracts specific comments identified based on at least one of the planned date of use, the planned time of use, and the purpose of use from among the comments associated with the facility searched for by the search processing unit 112 in the comment information D2. The extraction processing unit 113 is an example of the extraction processing unit of the present invention.

The search result page P3 shown in Figure 6 includes multiple tabs K8 corresponding to multiple items (titles) for displaying detailed information about the facility. The multiple tabs K8 form one title bar. Each item is classified by category, and each tab K8 displays, for example, text information (characters) of the item name as information that can identify each item. For example, the presentation processing unit 114 displays tabs K8 of "Top", "Seats", "Menu", "Specialties", "Coupons", and "Reviews" on the search result page P3. The presentation processing unit 114 also sets a link to each tab K8 with the item information associated with the item corresponding to each tab K8 as the link destination. As a result, when a searcher selects, for example, the "Reviews" tab K8 on the search result page P3 displayed on the user terminal 2, the presentation processing unit 114 presents information associated with the "Reviews" tab K8 (search result page P4) on the user terminal 2 (see FIG. 7).

Also, as shown in FIG. 7, the presentation processing unit 114 may display an individual evaluation value for each specific comment on the search result page P4. In another embodiment of the present invention, the control unit 11 may present the user terminal 2 with a selectable comment category (conditions of use) on the search result page. For example, the control unit 11 may display selectable categories such as lunch, dinner, Christmas, Valentine's Day, Halloween, year-end party, New Year's party, Father's Day, Mother's Day, date, business entertainment, dinner, girls' night out, welcome/farewell party, month, day, day of the week, type of cuisine genre, type of cuisine course, and price of cuisine on the search result page P4 (review page), and extract the specific comment corresponding to the category selected by the searcher and present it on the user terminal 2.
