Description
Claims (9)
- ワイヤグリッド偏光子(WGP)であって、
隣接するワイヤの間にチャネルを有する、基板の表面上のワイヤを備え、
各ワイヤは、反射性リブ、透過性リブ、及び吸収性リブを含み、
前記透過性リブは、紫外線スペクトルに亘って、可視スペクトルに亘って、赤外線スペクトルに亘って、又はそれらの組み合わせについて屈折率の実部nT≧1.7及び吸光係数kT≦0.1を有し、
前記透過性リブ内の0.1%以上及び50%以下の物質量の原子は有機部分に含まれ、前記吸収性リブ内の0.1%以上及び50%以下の物質量の原子は有機部分に含まれ、前記有機部分は金属原子に結合した有機官能基を含む部分である、
WGP。 - 前記透過性リブは、ハフニウム、鉛、ニオブ、タンタル、チタン、タングステン、ジルコニウム、又はそれらの組み合わせの酸化物を含む、請求項1に記載のWGP。
- 可視スペクトルに亘ってnT≧2.0である、請求項1又は2に記載のWGP。
- 前記透過性リブ内の前記有機部分の質量パーセントは、0.1%以上及び20%以下である、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載のWGP。
- 前記有機部分は、-CH3、-CH2CH3、又はそれらの両方を含む、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載のWGP。
- 全有機部分は、3以下の炭素原子を含む、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載のWGP。
- 前記透過性リブ内の1%以上及び25%以下の物質量の原子は、有機部分に含まれる、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載のWGP。
- 前記反射性リブ内の0.1%以上及び50%以下の物質量の原子は、有機部分に含まれる、請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載のWGP。
- 前記基板は、紫外線スペクトルに亘って、可視スペクトルに亘って、赤外線スペクトルに亘って、又はそれらの組み合わせについて屈折率の実部ns≧1.7及び吸光係数kS≦0.1を有する、請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載のWGP。
