The present invention relates to packaging materials.

Conventionally, packaging materials have been disclosed that are formed so that the packaged item can be wrapped and stored in a packaging box. For example, the packaging material disclosed in Patent Document 1 has a cushioning material made of polystyrene foam or the like provided on a sheet-like support material made of cardboard or the like. This cushioning material has an inclined surface that abuts against the inner side wall of the packaging box, reducing the possibility of the packaged item tipping over when the packaging box is transported with the packaged item stored inside.

The packaging material 1 is formed into a sheet-like shape using cardboard. The bottom surface portion 15 has four inclined edges 15a that face each other at positions inclined at 45 degrees to the connection direction D. When packaged, the side surface portion 13 is formed into a generally trapezoid shape with the bottom surface portion 15 side as the longer side. The second fold line 22 is provided between the two inclined edges 15a on the other end side. The side surface portion 13 is provided with a handle holding portion 13a formed so as to be able to open like a double door. More specifically, the handle holding portion 13a has two parallel cutouts 13a1 and 13a2 that are long in a direction perpendicular to the connection direction D, and a cutout 13a3 is formed at approximately the center of the cutouts 13a1 and 13a2 to connect them in the connection direction D. As a result, the handle holding portion 13a can be opened like a double door from the cutout 13a3, with the line connecting the ends of the cutouts 13a1 and 13a2 as the handle holding fold line 27b.

The top surface 14 is connected to the other end of the side surface 13 via a third fold line 23. When packaged, the top surface 14 is formed into a polygonal, approximately octagonal shape. The top surface 14 has an inclined edge 14a formed on one of a pair of opposing sides that face each other at an angle of 45 degrees to the connection direction D. The other pair of opposing sides, the fold lines 26, each have an intrusion prevention piece 17 that extends from the fold line 26 in the connection direction D.

One of the two intrusion prevention pieces 17 (intrusion prevention piece 17-1) extends toward one end side (first end 11 side) of the packaging material 1, and the other (intrusion prevention piece 17-2) extends toward the other end side (second end 12 side described later) of the packaging material 1. A notch 32 is provided between the intrusion prevention piece 17-1 extending toward one end side and the side surface portion 13, and between the intrusion prevention piece 17-2 extending toward the other end side and the second end 12. A straight edge 14b parallel to the connection direction D is formed between the inclined edge 14a and the folding line 26. The straight edge 14b is linearly continuous with the outer edge of the intrusion prevention piece 17. In addition, a round hole serving as a lid confirmation hole 14c is formed in the approximate center of the top surface portion 14. The top surface portion 14 equipped with the intrusion prevention piece 17 is formed symmetrically with respect to a point.

The second end 12 is connected to the other end of the top surface 14 via the fourth fold line 24. When packaged, the second end 12 is formed into a generally trapezoid shape with the other end side as the long side. An elongated rectangular opening 12a is provided in the approximate center of the second end 12 in a direction perpendicular to the connection direction D. In this way, the packaging material 1 has multiple fold lines 20 (first fold line 21 to fifth fold line 25) formed in a direction perpendicular to the connection direction D. The packaging material 1 is formed by cutting or slitting a single sheet of cardboard. When packaging is performed as shown in FIG. 3, the second end 12 is positioned so that it overlaps the outside of the first end 11. Then, the opening 12a of the second end 12 matches the handle holding portion 11a of the first end 11, exposing the open handle holding portion 11a and the handle 83. When packaging the packaging material 1, the fold-in portion 16 extending from the first end 11 is positioned from the opening edge of the pot 80 to the upper side of the pot 80.

Furthermore, the locking piece 12b of the second end 12 is locked to the locked portion 11b by folding it in toward the inside of the packaging material 1 (the pot with two handles 80). At this time, by folding the locking piece 12b, the tongue-shaped portion of the locked portion 11b is also folded in along with the locking piece 12b. The locking piece 12b is then sandwiched and locked in the space created by the folded tongue-shaped portion of the locked portion 11b. Here, the width of the tongue-shaped portion of the locking piece 12b is made wider overall than the width of the tongue-shaped portion of the locked portion 11b, and this, combined with the tapered shape of each tongue-shaped portion, more reliably locks the locking piece 12b to the locked portion 11b.

When packaging, as shown in FIG. 4(a) as viewed from the bottom side (direction P in FIG. 3), the easy-release hole 30 is semicircular when viewed from the bottom of the bottom portion 15. Then, as shown in FIG. 4(b), by inserting a finger into the easy-release hole 30, the finger can be hooked on the edge portion 12d of the second end portion 12 corresponding to the easy-release hole 30. Therefore, when unwrapping the packaging material 1, the finger can be inserted into the easy-release hole 30, hooked on the edge portion 12d of the second end portion 12, and pulled outward to separate the locking piece 12b from the locked portion 11b, thereby releasing the locking piece 12b and the locked portion 11b from each other. Figure 5 shows two double-handled pots 80 packaged in packaging material 1 stored in a packaging box 90. Two opposing inclined edges 14a of the top surface 14 abut against the inner surface of the side wall of the packaging box 90. In this embodiment, the sloping edge 14a of the top surface 14 abuts against the inner surface of the packaging box 90, but this is not limited to this, and the sloping edge 15a of the bottom surface 15 may also abut.

Although the embodiment of the present invention has been described above, the present invention is not limited to this embodiment, and various modifications can be made. For example, in this embodiment, the intrusion prevention piece 17 is provided, but the intrusion prevention piece 17 can be omitted, or the packaging material 1 can be provided with only one intrusion prevention piece 17. In addition, a holding portion is formed in the bottom portion 15, and the intrusion prevention piece 17 can be folded so that its tip is held by the holding portion. In this way, the intrusion prevention piece 17 functions as a support that supports the bottom portion 15 and the top portion 14 so that the gap between them is not crushed.
