Description

The present invention relates to spacers that maintain the distance between perforated steel plate floors.

When providing equipment space on the rooftop of a building, the floor may be constructed by laying multiple perforated steel plate floors, as shown in Patent Documents 1 and 2.

Patent Document 1 describes a connecting fitting for connecting adjacent perforated steel plate floors and preventing steps from occurring between the perforated steel plate floors, which is arranged to straddle the space between adjacent perforated steel plate floors, and which connects upper and lower members that engage with the perforated steel plate floors with a bolt that passes between the adjacent perforated steel plate floors.

Patent Document 2 also describes a fixing bracket for fixing a perforated steel floor onto a beam, which is arranged to straddle adjacent perforated steel floors, and connects an upper bracket that engages with the perforated steel floors and a lower bracket that engages with the flange of the beam with a bolt that is passed between the adjacent perforated steel floors, thereby connecting the adjacent perforated steel floors to each other and fixing the perforated steel floors to the beams at the same time.

Perforated steel floors, which people walk on, must be laid with a gap of 30mm or less between adjacent perforated steel floors to meet standards such as occupational safety and health regulations. If the gaps are too large, it is dangerous as workers may trip or lose their footing. Furthermore, when constructing perforated steel floors, there is a need to control the gaps to a constant width (30mm or less) when laying them. Gaps of 10mm or 30mm in some places look unattractive and make it difficult to properly assess the amount of work required, such as materials and labor.

However, laying a perforated steel floor while maintaining gaps at a fixed width is more difficult than laying a perforated steel floor without any gaps, and spacers are required between the perforated steel floors when considering the construction aspect. In this regard, the metal fittings in Patent Documents 1 and 2 can be considered as spacers in that bolts and the like are placed between the perforated steel floors, but they have a complex structure and require a lot of work to manufacture and install.

The present invention was made in consideration of the above-mentioned problems, and its purpose is to provide a spacer for a perforated steel floor that is simple in structure and easy to manufacture and install.

The first invention for achieving the above-mentioned object is a spacer that maintains the distance between adjacent perforated steel plate floors, characterized in that it comprises an approximately U-shaped spacing maintaining portion having an upper surface member and a pair of side surfaces member that is inserted into the gap between adjacent perforated steel plate floors, and a plate-shaped engaging portion that is fixed to the upper surface member and protrudes on both sides of the spacing maintaining portion, with the protruding portions being positioned on the adjacent perforated steel plate floors without a watertight material .
The second invention is a spacer that maintains the distance between adjacent perforated steel plate floors, characterized in that it comprises a roughly U-shaped spacing maintaining portion having an upper member, a lower member and a pair of side members that is inserted into the gap between adjacent perforated steel plate floors, and a plate-shaped engaging portion that is fixed to the upper member and protrudes on both sides of the spacing maintaining portion, with the protruding portions being positioned on the adjacent perforated steel plate floors without any watertight material .

The spacer of the present invention has a simple structure in which the plate-shaped locking portion is fixed to the upper surface member of the roughly U-shaped or roughly L-shaped spacing retainer, so it can be easily manufactured using readily available general-purpose products. In addition, it can be easily attached to the perforated steel floors by inserting the spacing retainer into the gap between adjacent perforated steel floors and positioning the protruding portion of the locking portion on top of these perforated steel floors.

The third invention is a spacer that maintains the distance between adjacent perforated steel plate floors, comprising a roughly U-shaped spacing retaining portion having an upper surface member and a pair of side members that is inserted into the gap between adjacent perforated steel plate floors, and a plate-shaped engaging portion that is fixed to the upper surface member and extends on both sides of the spacing retaining portion, with the protruding portions being placed on the adjacent perforated steel plate floors, wherein the engaging portion has claw portions bent downward at both ends, and the claw portions are inserted into holes in the adjacent perforated steel plate floors .
The fourth invention is a spacer which maintains the distance between adjacent perforated steel plate floors, comprising: a roughly U-shaped spacing retaining portion which has an upper surface member, a lower surface member and a pair of side surfaces member and which is inserted into the gap between adjacent perforated steel plate floors; and a plate-shaped engaging portion which is fixed to the upper surface member and protrudes on both sides of the spacing retaining portion, with the protruding portions being placed on the adjacent perforated steel plate floors, wherein the engaging portion has claw portions bent downward at both ends, and the claw portions are inserted into holes in the adjacent perforated steel plate floors.
This allows the spacer to be easily attached, and prevents warping or the like from occurring at the engaging portion, as occurs when the engaging portion is fastened to the perforated steel plate floor with screws.

The fifth invention is a method for laying a perforated steel plate floor using a spacer according to any one of the first to fourth inventions, comprising the steps of: placing a new perforated steel plate floor leaving a gap from the existing perforated steel plate floor; providing a plurality of spacers at intervals in the extension direction of the gap so that the spacing retaining portion is inserted into the gap and the protruding portion of the engaging portion is positioned on the existing perforated steel plate floor and the new perforated steel plate floor; and pressing the new perforated steel plate floor against the existing perforated steel plate floor and abutting the ends of the new perforated steel plate floor and the existing perforated steel plate floor against the spacing retaining portion.
This makes it possible to easily lay the perforated steel plate floor using spacers and to maintain the width of the gap in the perforated steel plate floor at a constant value.

The present invention provides a spacer for a perforated steel floor that is simple in structure and easy to manufacture and install.

FIG. A diagram showing the state in which the spacer 3 is attached to the perforated steel plate floor 1. A diagram showing a method of laying a perforated steel plate floor 1 using a spacer 3. FIG. FIG.

The following describes in detail a preferred embodiment of the present invention with reference to the drawings.

Figure 1 shows a spacer 3 according to an embodiment of the present invention. The spacer 3 is used to maintain a constant distance between adjacent perforated steel plate floors, and is configured by fixing a distance maintaining portion 32 to a locking portion 31.

The locking portion 31 is a plate-shaped steel member that is provided so as to protrude on both sides of the spacing portion 32. Screw holes 33 are provided in the portion of the locking portion 31 that protrudes from the spacing portion 32. The locking portion 31 is made of, for example, a steel plate.

The spacing retaining portion 32 is a steel member with a generally U-shaped cross section, and has an upper surface member 321 and a pair of side members 322 arranged on either side of it. The locking portion 31 is fixed to the upper surface member 321 of the spacing retaining portion 32 by a welded portion 34. A steel material such as a channel material is used for the spacing retaining portion 32.

Figure 2(a) shows the spacer 3 attached to the perforated steel plate floor 1, and Figure 2(b) shows Figure 2(a) as seen from the front.

The perforated steel plate deck 1 is a steel plate deck with holes 13, and has a flat deck section 11 as shown in FIG. 2(a). The deck section 11 has a rectangular planar shape, and both ends 12 in the short side direction are bent downward. The lower end of the bent portion is further folded back inward.

Holes 13 are formed in the deck section 11. The holes 13 are long holes extending in the short side direction of the deck section 11, and are provided in a plurality at intervals in the long side direction of the deck section 11 in the center of the short side direction of the deck section 11.

The perforated steel plate floors 1 are laid side by side on beams (not shown). These perforated steel plate floors 1 are adjacent to each other in the direction of the short side of the deck slab 11, and a gap 5 is formed between adjacent perforated steel plate floors 1. Spacers 3 are attached to adjacent perforated steel plate floors 1, and the width of the gap 5 is kept constant by the spacing retainer 32. For the safety of workers, this width is set to 30 mm or less to prevent tripping or slipping.

When installing the spacer 3, the spacing retaining portion 32 is inserted into the gap 5, and the protruding portion of the locking portion 31 that protrudes from the spacing retaining portion 32 is placed on the deck portion 11 of the adjacent perforated steel plate floor 1, and the protruding portion is fixed to the deck portion 11. In this embodiment, the protruding portion of the locking portion 31 is fixed to the deck portion 11 of the perforated steel plate floor 1 by the screw 4 screwed into the screw hole 33 (see Figure 1). Multiple spacers 3 are provided at intervals in the extension direction of the gap 5.

Figure 3 is a diagram showing a method of laying a perforated steel plate floor 1 using a spacer 3. In this embodiment, as shown by the arrow a in Figure 3(a), a perforated steel plate floor 1 (a new perforated steel plate floor) is placed next to an existing perforated steel plate floor 1 with a gap 5 of an appropriate width. Then, as shown in Figure 3(b), the spacing retaining portion 32 of the spacer 3 is inserted into the gap 5 between these perforated steel plate floors 1, and the protruding portion of the engaging portion 31 protruding from the spacing retaining portion 32 is placed on the deck portion 11 of both perforated steel plate floors 1. In this way, multiple spacers 3 are installed at intervals in the extension direction of the gap 5 (corresponding to the normal direction to the paper surface in Figure 3(b)). The spacers 3 are manufactured in advance at a factory or at the construction site.

Next, as shown by the arrow b in Figure 3(b), the following perforated steel plate floor 1 (new perforated steel plate floor) is pressed against the existing perforated steel plate floor 1. As a result, the ends 12 of both perforated steel plate floors 1 come into contact with the spacing retaining portions 32 as shown in Figure 3(c), and the width of the gap 5 becomes the width of the spacing retaining portion 32 of the spacer 3. After that, as shown in Figure 3(d), the protruding portion of the engaging portion 31 is fixed to the deck portion 11 with the screw 4.

As described above, the spacer 3 of this embodiment has a simple structure in which the plate-shaped locking portion 31 is fixed to the upper surface member 321 of the approximately U-shaped spacing retaining portion 32, and can be easily manufactured using readily available general-purpose products such as steel plates and channel materials. In addition, the spacing retaining portion 32 can be easily attached to the perforated steel plate floor 1 by inserting the spacing retaining portion 32 into the gap 5 between adjacent perforated steel plate floors 1 and positioning the protruding portion of the locking portion 31 on these perforated steel plate floors 1.

In addition, the installation method described in Figure 3 allows the perforated steel plate floor 1 to be easily installed using spacers 3, and the width of the gap 5 in the perforated steel plate floor 1 can be maintained at a constant value.

However, the present invention is not limited to the above embodiment. For example, in this embodiment, the locking portion 31 and the spacing portion 32 are fixed by welding, but the fixing method is not particularly limited as long as the locking portion 31 and the spacing portion 32 are fixed so that they do not move relative to each other. For example, as shown in the spacer 3a in FIG. 4(a), the locking portion 31 may be fixed to the upper surface member 321 of the spacing portion 32 using one or more screws 35. This makes it easy to fix the locking portion 31 and reduces manufacturing costs.

The shape and configuration of the spacer 3 are not particularly limited, and the cross section of the spacing retaining portion 32b may be substantially square-shaped, for example, as in the spacer 3b in FIG. 4(b). The spacing retaining portion 32b has an upper surface member 321, a lower surface member 323, and a pair of side surface members 322, and the upper surface member 321 and the lower surface member 323 are connected vertically by the side surface members 322. Steel materials such as easily available square steel pipes can be used for the spacing retaining portion 32b, and the same effect as described above can be obtained.

As shown in spacer 3c in Fig. 5(a), the locking portion 31c may be narrow and both ends bent downward to provide claws 36. When installing spacer 3c, as shown in Fig. 5(b), the spacing portion 32 is inserted into the gap 5 between adjacent perforated steel plate floors 1, the protruding portion of locking portion 31c protruding from spacing portion 32 is placed on the deck portion 11 of the adjacent perforated steel plate floors 1, and the claws 36 at both ends of locking portion 31c are inserted into the holes 13 of both perforated steel plate floors 1. This makes it easy to install spacer 3c.

As in the example of Figure 2, when screws 4 are used to secure the locking portion 31, tightening the screws 4 too much can cause the protruding portion of the locking portion 31 to warp upward (see dashed line A in Figure 2(b)), which can cause the worker to trip. To avoid this, it is effective to prevent the screws 4 from being tightened too much, but it is also effective to attach the locking portion 31c to the perforated steel plate floor 1 with the claw portion 36 as shown in Figure 5(b), which also prevents the above-mentioned warping from occurring, prevents the worker from tripping, and allows the spacing function to be fully utilized.

In the example of FIG. 5, the width of the locking portion 31c is equal to or smaller than the width of the hole 13 (long hole), and one claw portion 36 is provided at each end of the locking portion 31c, making the spacer 3c a minimal configuration; however, the width of the locking portion 31c may be increased to provide multiple claw portions 36 at each end of the locking portion 31c, and these claw portions 36 may be inserted into multiple holes 13. Also, in the example of FIG. 5, the spacing portion 32 protrudes on both sides of the locking portion 31c in the width direction, but the spacing portion 32 may be short and fit within the width of the locking portion 31c.

The above describes preferred embodiments of the present invention with reference to the attached drawings, but the present invention is not limited to these examples. It is clear that a person skilled in the art can come up with various modified or revised examples within the scope of the technical ideas disclosed in this application, and it is understood that these also naturally fall within the technical scope of the present invention.
