Claims (11)
- 内部が真空に保持されていると共に電磁波を透過する窓を有しているハウジングと、
前記ハウジング内に配置されており、前記電磁波の入射に応じて電子を放出するメタサーフェスを有している電子放出部と、
前記ハウジング内に配置されており、前記電子放出部から放出された電子を増倍する電子増倍部と、
前記ハウジング内に配置されており、前記電子増倍部で増倍された電子を収集する電子収集部と、を備え、
前記メタサーフェスは、金属層のみから構成されていると共に前記電子増倍部に面しており、各々が、前記電磁波の波長に応じたサイズを有していると共にバイアス電圧が印加されることなく同電位の状態で前記電磁波の入射に応じて電子を放出する、複数のアンテナを形成しており、
前記窓は、石英、シリコン、ゲルマニウム、サファイア、セレン化亜鉛、硫化亜鉛、フッ化マグネシウム、フッ化リチウム、フッ化バリウム、フッ化カルシウム、酸化マグネシウム、及び炭酸カルシウムから選択される少なくとも1種を含む、電子管。 - 前記電子放出部は、前記メタサーフェスが設けられた第1主面と当該第1主面に対向する第2主面とを含む基板を有し、
前記電子増倍部は、前記電子放出部から放出された電子が入射する入射面を有し、
前記基板は、前記窓を透過する電磁波に対して透過性を有し、かつ、前記第1主面が前記電子増倍部の前記入射面に面すると共に前記第2主面が前記窓に面するように配置されている、請求項1に記載の電子管。 - 前記電子増倍部は、前記電子放出部から放出された電子が入射する入射面を有し、
前記メタサーフェスは、前記電子増倍部の前記入射面に面するように前記窓に設けられている、請求項1に記載の電子管。 - 前記電子放出部は、前記メタサーフェスが設けられた第1主面と当該第1主面に対向する第2主面とを有している基板を有し、
前記電子増倍部は、前記電子放出部から放出された電子が入射する入射面を有し、
前記基板は、前記第1主面が前記窓及び前記電子増倍部の前記入射面に面するように配置されている、請求項1に記載の電子管。 - 前記メタサーフェスは、パターン化された金属層に含まれている、請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載の電子管。
- 前記電子増倍部及び前記電子収集部は、ダイオードであると共に一体に構成されている請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載の電子管。
- 前記電子増倍部は、互いに離間した複数のダイノードを有し、
前記電子収集部は、前記電子増倍部で増倍された電子を収集するアノード又はダイオードを有している、請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載の電子管。 - 前記電子増倍部は、マイクロチャンネルプレートを有し、
前記電子収集部は、前記電子増倍部で増倍された電子を収集するアノード又はダイオードを有している、請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載の電子管。 - 前記電子増倍部は、マイクロチャンネルプレートを有し、
前記電子収集部は、前記電子増倍部で増倍された電子を受けて光を発する蛍光体を有している、請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載の電子管。 - 請求項9に記載の電子管と、
前記蛍光体からの前記光に基づく像を撮像する撮像部と、を備える、撮像装置。 - 前記アンテナのピッチは、20μm~30μmである、請求項1~10のいずれか一項に記載の電子管。
