The present invention relates to clothing.
This application claims priority based on Japanese Patent Application No. 2017-129435 filed on June 30, 2017, and Japanese Patent Application No. 2018-119283 filed on June 22, 2018, the contents of which are incorporated herein by reference.

It is known that urinary incontinence occurs when urine accumulates in the urethra and leaks into the underwear due to muscle weakness caused by aging, prostate enlargement, etc. In some cases, the leaked urine seeps into the pants, and measures to prevent this are needed.
For example, measures to prevent urinary incontinence are also desired for patients with urinary disorders who are forced to urinate against their will due to spinal cord injuries or removal of the prostate gland.

For example, Patent Document 1 proposes incontinence pants (garments) that have a double structure of an outer body and an inner body, in which the inner body has an inner surface that comes into contact with the skin in the crotch area between the front and back body and is made of a mesh fabric that is breathable and water-permeable to form a water-retaining part that can absorb urine, and a waterproof tray made of a waterproof sheet material is attached to the outside of the water-retaining part, maintaining a gap that allows water-absorbent material to be inserted and removed, and the entire outer surface is covered with the outer body.

Incidentally, incontinence pants such as those described above not only prevent urine from seeping into trousers due to urinary leakage, but are also expected to prevent urine from leaking between the user's groin and the incontinence pants (hereinafter referred to as "armpit leakage") and to improve hygiene after absorbing urine.

The objective of this aspect of the present invention is to provide clothing that can prevent urine seepage and side leakage due to urinary incontinence and is also hygienic.

In a first aspect of the present invention, a garment comprises a waist portion formed in a ring shape and placed on the lower back of a living body, and a front body portion located below the waist portion and covering the front of the living body, the front body portion having a front body main body portion covering the lower abdomen of the living body, an insertion hole provided in the front body main body portion and formed to allow the penis of the living body to be inserted therethrough, and a flap member provided to be attachable to and detachable from the front body main body portion, covering the insertion hole and a predetermined area around the insertion hole in the attached state and exposing the penis inserted through the insertion hole in the detached state, the flap member being provided with a water absorbing portion that is capable of absorbing and retaining water and that is provided so as to be able to come into contact with the glans of the penis inserted through the insertion hole in the attached state.

The second aspect of the present invention is characterized in that, in the worn state, a slit is provided between the flap member and the front body portion, through which the penis can be exposed.

A third aspect of the present invention is characterized in that the diameter of the insertion hole is set to correspond to the diameter of the penis, and the edge of the insertion hole is formed so as not to be stretchable.

The fourth aspect of the present invention is characterized in that at least one of the left and right sides of the flap member is joined to the front body portion, and an upper portion is provided so as to be detachable from the front body portion, and the water absorption portion is provided so as to be detachable from the flap member.

The fifth aspect of the present invention is characterized in that the portion of the front body portion corresponding to the specified area is made of a waterproof material.

A sixth aspect of the present invention is characterized in that the flap member is made of a waterproof material.

A seventh aspect of the present invention is characterized in that the specified area is an area corresponding to an area surrounded by the groin of the living body and the waistline of the living body.

According to the first aspect of the present invention, the front body has an insertion hole formed in the front body main body part covering the lower abdomen of the living body, and a flap member that covers the insertion hole and a predetermined area around the insertion hole when worn, and the flap member has a water-absorbing part that is arranged to be able to abut against the glans of the penis inserted through the insertion hole when worn and is capable of absorbing and retaining water, so that even if urine leakage occurs, the water-absorbing part can absorb the leaked urine. Therefore, it is possible to prevent urine from seeping into trousers due to urine leakage.
In the worn state, the glans of the penis inserted through the insertion hole abuts against the water absorbing portion provided on the flap member, thereby preventing leakage from the armpits.
Since the penis is inserted through the insertion hole in the front body, the absorbent part that has absorbed the urine does not come into contact with the lower abdomen other than the penis. Therefore, even after the urine is absorbed by the absorbent part, the wearer's comfort is not adversely affected, and the garment is more hygienic than the conventional technology.

According to the second aspect of the present invention, a slit is provided between the flap member and the front body body portion in the worn state, allowing the penis to be exposed, so that even when the flap member is worn, the penis can be exposed from the slit and urination can be performed. This allows the user to urinate without feeling uncomfortable, just like with conventional underwear (pants), making the garment easy for the user to use. In terms of appearance, the garment has a design that does not feel strange, just like conventional underwear (pants).

According to the third aspect of the present invention, the diameter of the insertion hole is set according to the diameter of the penis, and the edge of the insertion hole is formed to be non-stretchable, so that only the penis can be inserted through the insertion hole, and the scrotum can be prevented from being inserted through the insertion hole and being exposed to the outside of the front body body. As a result, the water-absorbing part that has absorbed urine does not come into contact with the scrotum. Therefore, even after the urine is absorbed by the water-absorbing part, the user's wearing comfort is not impaired, and the garment is more hygienic than the conventional technology.

According to the fourth aspect of the present invention, the flap member has at least one left-right side portion joined to the front body main body portion and an upper portion detachably attached to the front body main body portion, so that the flap member can be easily peeled off from the front body main body portion by releasing the upper portion of the flap member from the front body main body portion. Since the water absorbent section is detachably attached to the flap member, the used water absorbent section can be removed from the flap member with the flap member peeled off from the front body main body portion, and then a new water absorbent section can be attached to the flap member to easily replace the water absorbent section. Therefore, compared to the conventional technology, only the water absorbent section can be replaced, resulting in a garment with excellent hygiene.
Since only the absorbent part can be replaced, the frequency of washing can be reduced compared to the conventional technology, making the garment easier for the user to use.

According to the fifth aspect of the present invention, the portion of the front body portion that corresponds to the predetermined area around the insertion hole is made of a waterproof material, so that even if the water-absorbing portion comes into contact with the front body portion when the flap member is attached, urine is prevented from seeping into the front body portion. This prevents urine from seeping out of the front body portion and adhering to the lower abdomen, including the area around the penis. This allows for a garment that is comfortable to wear and has superior hygiene compared to conventional techniques.

According to the sixth aspect of the present invention, the flap member is made of a waterproof material, so that even if urine leakage occurs, the water-absorbing part can absorb the leaked urine and prevent the urine from seeping out from the flap member. Therefore, it is possible to reliably prevent urine from seeping into trousers, etc. due to urine leakage.

According to the seventh aspect of the present invention, the predetermined area corresponds to the area surrounded by the groin and waistline of the living body, so that urine can be reliably prevented from seeping through this predetermined area. Therefore, urine can be prevented from seeping through trousers and the like due to urine leakage, and also from leaking from the sides.

Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

As shown in Figures 1 and 2, the garment 1 of this embodiment is a so-called trunk-type underwear for men. Furthermore, as described below, the garment 1 of this embodiment is a urinary leakage prevention underwear that has measures in place to prevent "urinary leakage" in which urine accumulated in the urethra leaks inside the underwear. The case in which the garment 1 described below is a trunk-type garment is an example of an embodiment of the present invention. Therefore, the garment 1 to which the present invention is applied is not limited to the trunk-type garment, and may be, for example, a so-called brief-type garment.
In each drawing, a user U, who is an adult male, is illustrated by a two-dot chain line as a user of the garment 1. In the following description, front, back, up, down, left and right directions correspond to front, back, up, down, left and right directions as seen by the user U.

The garment 1 of this embodiment is worn on the lower body of a user U, and is mainly made of natural fibers such as cotton, regenerated cellulose fibers such as cupra and viscose rayon, and synthetic fibers such as polyester. As the knitted fabric of the garment 1, for example, a weft knitted fabric such as mille knit, smooth knit, or plain knit, or a warp knitted fabric such as raschel knit is preferably used. The fibers and knitted fabrics of the garment 1 described above are merely examples and are not particularly limited.

The garment 1 has a waist portion 2 and a body portion 3.
The waist portion 2 is formed in an overall ring shape, and is disposed along the waistline of the hips of the user U when the garment 1 is worn around the lower body of the user U. The waist portion 2 is formed from an elastic fiber material such as a rib knit fabric that is elastically deformable in the circumferential direction, and has stretchability.
The diameter of the waist portion 2 is set to be slightly smaller than the waist size of the user U. Therefore, when the user U wears the garment 1 around his/her lower body, the garment 1 is fastened to the waist of the user U by the contraction force of the waist portion 2.

The body portion 3 is located lower than the waist portion 2 and covers the lower body of the user U. A pair of leg openings 31, 31 are formed in the body portion 3. The pair of leg openings 31, 31 are provided on both sides in the width direction. The pair of leg openings 31, 31 are holes through which the legs of the user U can be inserted. The right and left thighs of the user U are inserted and positioned in the pair of leg openings 31, 31, respectively.

The body portion 3 includes a rear body portion 4 and a front body portion 5.
The rear body 4 is located rearward of the armpit centers of the body portion 3. The rear body 4 covers mainly the buttocks of the user U's lower body.

The front body 5 is located forward of the armpit center of the body part 3. The front body 5 covers mainly the lower abdominal area of the user U in the lower half of the user U's body.
The front body 5 has a front body main body portion 51, an insertion hole 53, and a flap member 60. The front body 5 of the garment 1 will be described in detail below.

The front body body portion 51 covers the lower abdomen of the user U below the waist portion 2.
An insertion hole 53 is formed in the front body part 51. The insertion hole 53 penetrates the front and back of the front body part 51 and is formed so that the penis P of the user U can be inserted therethrough.
The diameter of the insertion hole 53 is set to correspond to the diameter of the penis P of the user U. More specifically, the diameter of the insertion hole 53 is set to be slightly larger than, for example, about 3.2 cm, which is the standard diameter of the penis of an adult male Japanese. The diameter of the insertion hole 53 may be provided in a plurality of sizes corresponding to, for example, the sizes of the garment 1 (such as S size, M size, L size, etc.).

Here, the edge 53a of the insertion hole 53 is formed to be non-stretchable. The edge 53a of the insertion hole 53 may be formed to be non-stretchable by, for example, stitching the entire circumference, or may be formed to be non-stretchable by, for example, sewing a reinforcing patch to the entire circumference. Since the edge 53a of the insertion hole 53 is formed to be non-stretchable, only the penis P can be inserted through the insertion hole 53, and the scrotum F can be prevented from being inserted through the insertion hole 53 and being exposed to the outside of the front body body portion 51.

In the front body portion 51, the insertion hole 53 and the periphery of the insertion hole 53 are defined as a predetermined region W. The predetermined region W is, for example, a region corresponding to a region surrounded by the groin of the user U and the waistline of the user U.
The predetermined area W may be made of a material that is waterproof and has moisture permeability that allows water vapor to pass through. Specifically, a fabric material that has been subjected to a so-called waterproof coating process, in which a resin material is applied thinly and uniformly to the fabric surface, and then the resin material is dried by applying heat to form a coating, is suitable.

The flap member 60 is provided so as to be attachable to and detachable from the front body portion 51. Specifically, the flap member 60 is joined to the front body portion 51 by sewing a left side portion 63 and a lower portion 64 to the front body portion 51.
The upper part 62 of the flap member 60 is formed so as to be engageable with the front body main part 51. There are no particular limitations on the means of engaging the upper part 62 of the flap member 60 with the front body main part 51, but in this embodiment, hook-and-loop fasteners 21, 22 are attached to the front body main part 51 and the upper part 62 of the flap member 60, respectively, and the front body main part 51 and the upper part 62 of the flap member 60 are engageable with each other by the hook-and-loop fasteners 21, 22.

In the peeled state, the flap member 60 is in a portion other than the left side part 63 and the lower part 64 that are sewn to the front body body 51, i.e., the right side part 61 and the upper part 62 of the flap member 60 are detached from the front body body 51.

As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the flap member 60 is provided with a water absorbing portion 67 .
The water-absorbing part 67 is a sheet-like member formed by wrapping a highly water-absorbing polymer, generally called an absorbent polymer, a highly water-absorbing resin, or a polymer absorbent, in a nonwoven fabric. The water-absorbing part 67 may have antibacterial and deodorizing effects by, for example, blending silver ions. In this embodiment, a commercially available product called a water-absorbing pad is used as the water-absorbing part 67.

The water absorption section 67 is provided on the inner surface of the flap member 60 (the surface facing the front body body section 51 when worn) in an area excluding the hook-and-loop fastener 22. The water absorption section 67 is removably attached to the inner surface of the flap member 60 by, for example, double-sided tape.
3, when the flap member 60 is attached, it abuts against the glans K of the penis P inserted through the insertion hole 53. As a result, even if urine leakage occurs, in which urine accumulated in the urethra leaks out, the urine leaking from the penis P of the user U is reliably absorbed by the water absorption section 67.

According to the garment 1 of this embodiment, the front body 5 has an insertion hole 53 formed in the front body main body part 51 covering the lower abdomen of the user U, through which the penis P of the user U can be inserted, and a flap member 60 covering the insertion hole 53 and a predetermined area W around the insertion hole 53 when the garment is worn, and the flap member 60 has a water-absorbing part 67 that is capable of absorbing and retaining water and is arranged to be able to abut against the glans K of the penis P inserted through the insertion hole 53 when the garment is worn, so that even if urine leakage occurs, the water-absorbing part 67 can absorb the leaked urine. Therefore, it is possible to prevent urine from seeping into trousers, etc. due to urine leakage.
In the worn state, the glans K of the penis P inserted through the insertion hole 53 abuts against the water absorbing portion 67 provided on the flap member 60, thereby preventing side leakage.
Since the penis P is inserted through the insertion hole 53 in the front body portion 51, the absorbent portion 67 that has absorbed urine does not come into contact with the lower abdomen other than the penis P. Therefore, even after the urine has been absorbed by the absorbent portion 67, the wearer U's comfort is not adversely affected, and the garment 1 is more hygienic than the prior art.

In the garment 1 of this embodiment, when worn, a slit S that allows the penis P to be exposed is provided between the flap member 60 and the front body body portion 51, so that even when the flap member 60 is worn, the penis P can be exposed from the slit S and urination can be performed. This allows urination to be performed without any discomfort, similar to conventional underwear (pants), making the garment easy for the user U to use. In terms of appearance, the garment 1 can also have a design that does not feel strange, similar to conventional underwear (pants).

In the garment 1 of this embodiment, the diameter of the insertion hole 53 is set to correspond to the diameter of the penis P, and the edge 53a of the insertion hole 53 is formed to be non-stretchable, so that only the penis P can be inserted through the insertion hole 53, and the scrotum F can be prevented from being inserted through the insertion hole 53 and being exposed to the outside of the front body body part 51. As a result, the water-absorbing part 67 that has absorbed urine does not come into contact with the scrotum F. Therefore, even after the urine is absorbed by the water-absorbing part 67, the wearer's comfort is not impaired, and the garment 1 is more hygienic than the conventional technology.

In the garment 1 of this embodiment, the left side portion 63 and the lower portion 64 of the flap member 60 are joined to the front body main body portion 51, and the upper portion 62 is provided so as to be detachable from the front body main body portion 51, so that the flap member 60 can be easily peeled off from the front body main body portion 51 by separating the upper portion 62 of the flap member 60 from the front body main body portion 51. The water absorption portion 67 is provided so as to be detachable from the flap member 60, so that the water absorption portion 67 can be easily replaced by removing the used water absorption portion 67 from the flap member 60 and then attaching a new water absorption portion 67 to the flap member 60 in a state in which the flap member 60 is peeled off from the front body main body portion 51. Therefore, compared to the conventional technology, only the water absorption portion 67 can be replaced, so that the garment 1 is more hygienic.
Since only the water absorbing part 67 can be replaced, the frequency of washing can be reduced compared to the prior art, and the garment 1 can therefore be made easy to use for the user U.

In the garment 1 of this embodiment, the portion of the front body portion 51 that corresponds to the predetermined area W around the insertion hole 53 is made of a waterproof material, so that even if the water absorbent portion 67 comes into contact with the front body portion 51 when the flap member 60 is attached, urine is prevented from seeping into the front body portion 51. This prevents urine from seeping out of the front body portion 51 and adhering to the lower abdomen, including the area around the penis P. This allows the garment 1 to be made comfortable for the user U and more hygienic than the prior art.

In the garment 1 of this embodiment, the flap member 60 is made of a waterproof material, so even if urine leakage occurs, the water-absorbing part 67 absorbs the leaked urine and prevents the urine from seeping out from the flap member 60. This reliably prevents urine from seeping into trousers or the like due to urine leakage.

In the garment 1 of this embodiment, the predetermined area W corresponds to the area surrounded by the groin and waistline of the user U, so that urine seepage can be reliably prevented in this predetermined area W. Therefore, urine seepage onto trousers and the like due to urinary leakage can be prevented, and urine leakage from the armpits can also be prevented.

The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment described with reference to the drawings, and various modifications are contemplated within its technical scope.

In the above embodiment, the garment 1 according to the present invention is described as being a trunk-type men's underwear, but the application of the present invention is not limited to trunk-type men's underwear. Therefore, the garment 1 according to the present invention may be, for example, a brief-type men's underwear or a boxer-type men's underwear.

In the above embodiment, an adult male has been described as an example of the user U of the clothing 1, but the user U of the clothing 1 is not limited to an adult male. Therefore, the user U may be, for example, a male child with urinary dysfunction.
In the above embodiment, the user U of the clothing 1 is an adult male, but the user U is not limited to a human male and can be widely applied to any living body having a penis. Therefore, the user U of the clothing 1 may be, for example, a male animal having a penis, such as a dog or a horse. In other words, the clothing 1 of the present embodiment is not limited to application to human males and may be applied to male animals.

The material configuration of the garment 1 in the above-described embodiment is an example and is not limited to the above-described embodiment. Therefore, the material of the garment 1 may be a material other than natural fibers such as cotton, regenerated cellulose fibers such as cupra and viscose rayon, and synthetic fibers such as polyester, for example, fibers such as silk and polyurethane.

In the above embodiment, the flap member 60 and the portion of the front body body 51 corresponding to the predetermined area W are made of a waterproof material, but they do not have to be made of a waterproof material. The flap member 60 and the portion of the front body body 51 corresponding to the predetermined area W may be made of a water-repellent material instead of a waterproof material.

In the above embodiment, the left side portion 63 and the lower portion 64 of the flap member 60 are joined to the front body body portion 51, and the upper portion 62 is provided so as to be engageable and detachable with respect to the front body body portion 51, but this is not limited to the above embodiment. Therefore, for example, the flap member 60 may be configured so that only the lower portion 64 is joined to the front body body portion 51, and the upper portion 62 is provided so as to be engageable and detachable with respect to the front body body portion 51, or so that only the upper portion 62 is joined to the front body body portion 51, and the lower portion 64 is provided so as to be engageable and detachable with respect to the front body body portion 51.

Furthermore, the flap member 60 may be provided so that its entire periphery can be engaged and disengaged with the front body portion 51. In this case, the flap member 60 and the front body portion 51 can be separated, which is preferable, for example, when only the flap member 60 is to be washed.

In the above embodiment, the hook-and-loop fasteners 21 and 22 are attached to the front body body 51 and the upper part 62 of the flap member 60, respectively, and the front body body 51 and the upper part 62 of the flap member 60 can be engaged with the hook-and-loop fasteners 21 and 22, but the member that engages the front body body 51 and the upper part 62 of the flap member 60 is not limited to the hook-and-loop fasteners 21 and 22. Therefore, the front body body 51 and the upper part 62 of the flap member 60 may be engaged with, for example, a button, or may be engaged by being tied with a string or the like, or may be engaged with a so-called snap or the like. In other words, as long as the front body body 51 and the flap member 60 are detachably engaged with each other, the form is not limited.

In the above-described embodiment, the water absorption section 67 is removably attached to the inner surface of the flap member 60, for example, by double-sided tape or the like, but this is not limited to the above embodiment. Therefore, for example, the water absorption section 67 may be removably attached to the inner surface of the flap member 60 by a hook-and-loop fastener.

In addition, it is possible to replace the components in the above-described embodiments with well-known components as appropriate, without departing from the spirit of the present invention.
