Description

This invention relates to a sanitary hood that is worn by workers in, for example, the backrooms of food factories and supermarkets to prevent hair from falling out, and is easy to wear and has a configuration that allows a shield to be attached to the opening in the part of the hood that corresponds to the field of vision.

In general, food factories and other facilities use various methods to ensure that foreign matter does not get mixed in. In particular, it is essential to ensure that workers do not lose body hair, such as their head hair, and get mixed in with the products. To prevent this type of body hair from getting mixed in with the products, one type of hood that workers wear over their heads during these tasks has traditionally been used. In Patent Document 1, an opening is formed in the part of the hood that corresponds to the field of vision, and a transparent plastic shield is attached to that part. The configuration for attaching the shield in Patent Document 1 involves forming an air inlet opening between the upper end of the shield and the hood body, and attaching the shield so that the left and right ends of the shield are housed in the shield end attachment housing, overlapping inside the corresponding periphery of the opening in three directions (the lower end and both left and right ends).

However, the shield in Patent Document 1 is attached to the air inlet opening, i.e., the area corresponding to the face, in three directions excluding the upper end, so the shield comes very close to the wearer's face. Therefore, even if visibility is ensured, not only does the transparent shield create a strong feeling of pressure, but the shield can also fog up due to steam generated from the face or head due to its close distance to the face. Furthermore, if the wearer wears glasses, there is a risk that the glasses will interfere with the shield and reduce comfort.

The present invention aims to solve the problems of the past by providing a hood with a shield that does not feel oppressive to the wearer and ensures favorable breathability even when a shield is provided at the hood opening.

To achieve the above object, the sanitary hood of the present invention has an opening on its front side, a bag section along the horizontal direction of the lower edge of the opening on the hood body, and a ribbon-shaped piece of cloth is sewn to both sides of the upper edge of the opening, while a transparent shield of a size that matches the size of the opening is attached to the bag section at its lower edge and a part of the cloth is fixed to both sides of the upper edge of the transparent shield, and the transparent shield is tilted forward. The transparent shield has the function of preventing splashes from the outside from landing on the face and eyes of the hood wearer. With this configuration, the transparent shield is tilted forward relative to the hood and is spaced apart from the hood as it approaches the upper end, ensuring a large internal space while improving breathability.

The transparent shield and the hood are secured together by providing fastening means on both sides of the inside of the bag, and also by providing fastening means on the transparent shield at a position corresponding to the fastening means, with both fastening means securing the lower edge of the transparent shield to the bag. These fastening means ensure that the transparent shield does not easily come off the hood, and can be securely attached. In addition, fastening means are provided on a portion of the fabric piece, and fastening means are also provided on both sides of the upper edge of the transparent shield, and by using these two fastening means to maintain the transparent shield in a forward tilted position relative to the hood, the forward tilt angle can be adjusted.

The use of a pair of hooks as the fastening means allows for secure fastening. Also, by providing a cape that is continuous with the hood body, it is possible to widely cover the upper half of the worker's body.

In the present invention, by using the above-mentioned means, the transparent shield can be securely attached to the hood, and the transparent shield is not only spaced from the hood in three directions except for the bottom edge, but also has a larger distance toward the upper edge, improving breathability. This configuration also makes it possible to prevent eyeglasses from interfering with the transparent shield.

A preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. Figure 1 is a front view showing one embodiment, and Figure 2 is an enlarged front view of a part of the embodiment. In the drawings, 1 is a hood body, and an opening 2 is formed in the part corresponding to the face. The size and shape of the opening 2 are not particularly important, but it is preferable that the size and shape are such that at least sufficient visibility is ensured when the embodiment is worn. 3 is a cape that is integrally provided in a state in which it spreads downward from the hood body 1, and is made to have a spread that covers both shoulders of the wearer. Note that the cape 3 may be omitted and the structure may be the hood body 1 only. The procedure for attaching the transparent shield 4 to the hood body 1 is as follows: for the hood in the form of FIG. 6, first insert the transparent shield 4 in a curved state into the bag portion 9 formed at the lower edge of the opening 2, and fasten the fastener 6 and the fastener 10 on the body side, which are provided at the corresponding positions. Although not shown in this embodiment, if a fastener is also provided in the center, these are also fastened. In this way, if a fastener is also provided in the center, the hood and the transparent shield are fixed at three points, so that the transparent shield 4 can be attached more securely. If the cloth piece 11 has multiple body side hooks 12, the fastening position can be selected appropriately according to the wearer's working conditions, so the inclination angle of the transparent shield 4 can be adjusted, and appropriate space according to the work is secured, allowing for a method of use with excellent breathability. In addition, when configured as in this embodiment, the transparent shield 4 is farther away from the face at the top when worn, so there is no interference with the transparent shield even if the wearer is wearing glasses.

Here, in this embodiment, a fixing device 6 is used on the transparent shield 4 side to attach the transparent shield 4 to the opening 2 of the hood body 1, and a corresponding configuration is also used on the hood body 1 side, but what is necessary is to attach the transparent shield 4 to the hood body 1 using these configurations. A sanitary hood with a shield, comprising: a bag portion provided along the horizontal direction of the lower edge of the opening of the hood body; a ribbon-shaped piece of cloth sewn to both sides of the upper edge of the opening; a transparent shield of a size appropriate to the size of the opening, the lower edge of which is attached to the bag portion; a part of the piece of cloth and both sides of the upper edge of the transparent shield are fixed; the side edges and upper edge of the transparent shield are spaced apart from the hood body; and the upper side of the transparent shield is tilted forward so as to be spaced apart from the hood body .
