Description

本発明は、ラッピングシートの切除片混入による製品不良を減少させることのできる、ラッピング基材の製造方法及び製造装置に関する。 The present invention relates to a method and device for manufacturing wrapping substrates that can reduce product defects caused by the inclusion of cut pieces of wrapping sheets.

従来、合板、PB(Particle Board)及びMDF(Midium Dencity Fiber Board)などの板状の基材に樹脂製の化粧シート等をラッピングしたラッピング基材が、フローリング材、クローゼット、棚、造作材等に、デザインや価格等の観点から、多用されている。このラッピング基材は、通常、上面及び4側面の併せて5面がラッピングされている。 Conventionally, wrapping substrates in which a resin decorative sheet or the like is wrapped around a plate-shaped substrate such as plywood, PB (Particle Board) or MDF (Medium Density Fiber Board) have been widely used for flooring materials, closets, shelves, construction materials, etc., from the standpoint of design, price, etc. This wrapping substrate is usually wrapped on a total of five surfaces, including the top surface and four side surfaces.

One method for continuously manufacturing such wrapping base materials is to use a wrapping sheet (hereinafter sometimes referred to as a sheet) that is wider on the left and right than the base material, cut it so that the front and back lengths are longer than the base material, and then adhere the sheet to the top surface while also folding and adhering the sheet to the front, back, left, and right sides to create a five-sided wrapping. When folding the sheet to the front, back, left, and right sides, the sheet overlaps at the four corners of the base material, so these overlapping parts are often cut off beforehand (for example, Patent Document 1 and Patent Document 2). The cut pieces that are created in this case will be small if the base material is thin or the width that is folded back to the side is narrow. For example, in the case of a thin flooring material or when only a thin thickness is used to cover the side surface on the top surface, the width that is folded back to the side will be narrow, and the cut pieces will be small.

特開2016-7829号公報JP 2016-7829 A 特開2017-52286号公報JP 2017-52286 A

上記のとおり、ラッピングシートを側面に折り込む際に基材の4隅にシートの重複部分が生じる。この重複部分をあらかじめ取り除く際に生じる切除片が製品に混入して、製品不良の原因となることがある。特に切除片が小さいと製品不良が生じやすい。本発明の目的は、この切除片による製品不良を少なくすることができる、ラッピング基材の製造方法及び製造装置を提供することである。 As mentioned above, when folding the wrapping sheet to the sides, overlapping portions of the sheet are created at the four corners of the base material. When removing these overlapping portions in advance, pieces that are cut off may get mixed into the product and cause product defects. Product defects are particularly likely to occur when the cut pieces are small. The object of the present invention is to provide a method and device for manufacturing a wrapping base material that can reduce product defects caused by these cut pieces.

本発明者は、上記目的を達成するために種々検討の結果、シートの左右に生じる切除片を一体的に切り出して切除片を大きくし、切除片が製品に混入するのを防止することに思い至り、本発明に到達した。すなわち本発明は以下の通りである。

以下、本発明を実施例により詳細に説明するが、本発明はこの実施例に限定されない。 The present invention will be described in detail below with reference to examples, but the present invention is not limited to these examples.

1.ラッピング基材の製造方法の概要
本発明では、連続して流れてくる長方形の基材2(図1)に、ラッピングシート1をラッピングする。2本ロール12で基材上面にラッピングシートを接着し、レーザー13でシートを切断・不要な部分を切除し、コロ14で側面にシートを折り込んで圧着し、上面、左右側面(左側面は3)、前後側面(後ろ側面は4)、の計5面にシートを貼り合わせる。
1. Overview of the manufacturing method for wrapping substrate In the present invention, a wrapping sheet 1 is wrapped around a continuously flowing rectangular substrate 2 (Fig. 1). The wrapping sheet is adhered to the top surface of the substrate with two rolls 12, the sheet is cut and unnecessary parts are removed with a laser 13, and the sheet is folded and pressed onto the sides with rollers 14, and the sheet is adhered to a total of five surfaces: the top surface, left and right side surfaces (left side surface is 3), and front and rear side surfaces (rear side surface is 4).

2. Substrate The substrate 2 (FIG. 1) to be wrapped is usually a rectangular plate. It is made of wood, metal, plastic, or a composite of these, and is more preferably made of wood. Examples of wood include plywood, PB, and MDF.
The substrate flows continuously and has its top surface, left and right side surfaces, front and rear side surfaces wrapped, with the front, rear, left and right sides of the substrate being based on the direction of travel of the substrate from just before to just after the wrapping sheet is cut.
There is no particular restriction on the shape of the front, back, left and right sides of the base material (e.g., the left side 3 and the rear side 4), and for example, they may be flat or may be textured. When used as a flooring material, the front, back, left and right sides, or both, are often textured.

3. Wrapping sheet and application of adhesive to wrapping sheet The wrapping sheet 1 (FIG. 1) can be made of resin, paper, etc. Resin sheets include, for example, olefin-based sheets, polyvinyl chloride sheets, polyester films, etc., and paper sheets include, for example, coated paper. Usually, wood grain or other patterns are printed on the wrapping sheet depending on the purpose. Thin materials such as films are also included in the wrapping sheet.
The wrapping sheet used is wider than the width of the base material by the width of the left and right side surfaces to be wrapped. It is not necessary to wrap the entire left and right side surfaces. For example, if the left and right side surfaces are processed, it is possible to wrap only the part that is visible from above after the surface is fitted (the R part in FIG. 3).
The wrapping sheet is usually wound in a roll, one end of which is continuously fed to the apparatus of the present invention, and first, adhesive is applied to the back surface by adhesive application means 11 .
The adhesive application means 11 may be a conventional coating means, such as a roll coater or a blade coater. The adhesive may be any adhesive that has been used for wrapping substrates in the past. The wrapping sheet coated with the adhesive is fed to a continuous bonding means for bonding the wrapping sheet to the substrate.

4. Supply to lamination means The substrate 2 (FIG. 1) is supplied to lamination means 12 with the wrapping sheet at an interval longer than the sum of the length of the rear side of the current substrate and the length of the front side of the next substrate to be wrapped. By leaving an interval longer than the sum, an excess portion of the sheet is generated between the two substrates.
The "current" of the current substrate and the "next" of the next substrate indicate the wrapping order when wrapping continuously.
For example, when the front and rear sides are processed to be solid, it is possible to wrap only the part that is visible from above when the fruit is fitted (the R part in FIG. 3). In other words, the length of the wrapping may be a length that can wrap the entire front and rear sides, or a length that can wrap only a part of them.
The interval at which the substrates are fed to the laminating means is adjusted by adjusting the speed of the transport rollers to the laminating means or by adjusting the interval at which the substrates are placed on the transport rollers.

5. Laminating Means The wrapping sheet is laminated onto the upper surface of the substrate by the laminating means 12 (Fig. 1). The laminating means may be a conventional one, such as a two-roll lamination, a four-roll lamination consisting of two rolls combined in series, a lamination means using a roller that feeds the substrate and one roll, or a lamination means that presses the wrapping sheet and substrate together from above. The roll may be a room temperature roll or a hot roll depending on the properties of the adhesive, etc. Pressing may be performed at room temperature or under heated conditions. The roll also often serves as the main transport means for the wrapping sheet and substrate.

6. Cutting the sheet and removing unnecessary parts The wrapping sheet stretched out in a strip shape is cut with a laser 13 (Figure 1), and the overlapping parts are removed so that the parts of the wrapping sheet corresponding to the four corners of the base material do not overlap when the sheet is folded to the side.
The overlapping portions, both front and back, are cut out by integrating the left and right cut pieces. The left and right cut pieces are connected and integrated by the excess cut-out portion between the substrates (cut-out portion 5 in Figure 4. In addition, in 5, the cut-out portion behind the current substrate is further integrated with the cut-out portion in front of the next substrate).
This excess portion is generated by "supplying the substrate 2 (Figure 1) to the bonding means 12 with the wrapping sheet at an interval longer than the sum of the length of the rear side of the current substrate and the length of the front side of the next substrate to be wrapped" ([0013] first sentence).
If the front and rear sides are solid, it is more preferable that the parts of the sheet corresponding to the ends of the left and right sides be shaped to match the shape of the fruit (see Figure 4, the four corners of the sheet).
When the left, right, front and back sides are flat, the shape of the cut-out portion where the left and right cut pieces and the waste parts between the substrates are integrated is a capital letter I with top and bottom crosses cut in half lengthwise (Figure 5. If the cut-out parts are further integrated with the rear of the current substrate and the front of the next substrate, it becomes Figure 6.) It may also be cut out in a special shape to cover the ridge of the substrate (Figure 7. In Figure 7, the cut-out part after the current substrate is further integrated with the cut-out part in front of the next substrate). In either case, the left and right cut-out pieces are cut out as a single unit via the excess part between the substrates.

本発明は連続的に基材をラッピングするので、現基材の後ろから、次基材が流れてくるので、現基材のラッピングシートの後ろの切除部分と、次基材のラッピンシートの前の切除部分を一体化するように切除でき、こうすればより好ましい(図1、2、4、6、7)。 The present invention wraps substrates continuously, so the next substrate flows behind the current substrate, and the cut-out portion at the back of the wrapping sheet of the current substrate and the cut-out portion at the front of the wrapping sheet of the next substrate can be cut together, which is more preferable (Figs. 1, 2, 4, 6, 7).

これらの切断・切除はレーザーカッターで行い、ラッピングシートを一時停止させることなくほぼ一定速度で移送させながら、その動きにレーザー光を連動させて、行う。 These cuts and ablations are performed with a laser cutter, with the wrapping sheet moved at a nearly constant speed without pausing, and the laser light synchronized with the movement.

以上のようにすれば、ラッピングシートに多少の無駄は生じるが、左右の切除片が一体化され大きくなるので、これが製品に紛れる恐れがなくなり、切除片による製品不良を減少させることができる。現基材と次基材の切除部分を一体化すれば、さらに切除片が大きく、切除片の数も少なくなるので、より好ましい。 By doing this, some waste will occur in the wrapping sheet, but the left and right cut pieces will be integrated and larger, eliminating the risk of them getting mixed up in the product and reducing product defects due to cut pieces. It is even more preferable to integrate the cut parts of the current and next substrates, as this will result in even larger cut pieces and fewer cut pieces.

7. Folding and gluing of wrapping sheet to left and right side surfaces of substrate Folding and gluing to left and right side surfaces of substrate can be performed by gradually changing the inclination of multiple rollers 16 (FIG. 1) while conveying the substrate, and folding and gluing the protruding parts of the wrapping sheet to the left and right side surfaces. Note that the folding means can be any commonly used means and is not limited to rollers.
8. Folding and gluing the wrapping sheet onto the front and back sides of the base material To fold the wrapping sheet onto the front and back sides of the base material, first turn the conveying direction of the base material by 90 degrees, then fold the wrapping sheet onto the front and back sides using rollers or the like in the same way, and then glue the sheet onto the front and back sides (Figure 1).

本発明により、ラッピング基材の製品不良が少なくなり、生産効率が上がるので、建築資材や家具材料を製造する産業分野に有用である。 The present invention reduces product defects in wrapping substrates and improves production efficiency, making it useful in the industrial sector that manufactures building materials and furniture materials.
