上述したように、本発明者等は、顔面に接触する接触面に、薬剤の塗布量が１５０ｇ／ｍ^２以下となるように比較的少ない量で、薬剤を塗布することによって、就寝中のような長時間にわたって使用することができることを見出した。本発明者等がさらに検討したところ、このように塗布量が少ない場合、防腐性が不充分になる場合があることを見出した。すなわち、シートマスクのような、保湿剤等の化粧料成分を含む薬剤をしみ込ませて、顔面に接触させて使用する美容用具は、その薬剤に防腐剤を含有させ、薬剤の塗布量を増やすことで、充分な防腐性を発揮していると考えられる。本発明者等の検討によれば、このような美容用具では、就寝中における前記薬剤の寝具への付着を充分に抑制することができず、一晩中使用することが困難であった。さらに、前記美容用具を口や鼻孔を覆った状態で使用すると、呼吸がしにくくなり、この点でも、一晩中使用することが困難であった。これらのことから、本発明者等は、薬剤の塗布量を増やすのではなく、薬剤の組成を検討することによって、防腐性を高められることを見出し、以下のような本発明を想到するに至った。 As described above, the inventors have found that the cosmetic tool can be used for a long time such as during sleep by applying a relatively small amount of the cosmetic agent to the contact surface that contacts the face, so that the amount of the cosmetic agent applied is 150 g/ ^m2 or less. Furthermore, when the cosmetic tool is used with the mouth and nostrils covered, it is difficult to breathe, and in this respect, it is also difficult to use it all night. From these findings, the present inventors discovered that the antiseptic properties could be improved by examining the composition of the drug, rather than by increasing the amount of drug applied, and came up with the present invention as described below.

上記のようにして得られた直後の試料、すなわち、初期品を用いた。この試料（初期品）の前記薬剤を塗布した側の面に対して、Ｃ．ａｌｂｉｃａｎｓ、Ａ．ｂｒａｓｉｌｉｅｎｓｉｓ、及びＰ．ｃｉｔｒｉｎｕｍを、１０の７乗接種した。その後、温度２０～３０℃、相対湿度７０～１００％ＲＨの環境下で、４週間培養した後の菌数の測定を行った。その結果、初期接種菌数より、２オーダー以上減少していたときは、「≦１％」と評価した。また、初期接種菌数より、１オーダー以上２オーダー未満減少していたときは、「≦１０％」と評価した。また、初期接種菌数と比較した減少分が１オーダー未満であって、菌の増殖が確認できない場合は、「≦１００％」と評価した。また、初期接種菌数と比較した減少分が１オーダー未満であって、菌の増殖が確認できる場合は、「１００％≦」と評価した。なお、「≦１％」であれば、防腐性（防腐効果）が高いと評価でき、「≦１０％」であれば、防腐性（防腐効果）があると評価できる。「≦１００％」であれば、防腐性（防腐効果）が「≦１０％」よりは低いが、防腐性（防腐効果）があると評価でき、「１００％≦」であれば、防腐性（防腐効果）がないと評価される。 [Preservative properties (initial product)]
