Description

The present invention relates to a storage container for lipstick, etc., that stores stick-shaped cosmetics such as lipstick, lip balm, stick eye shadow, and stick foundation.

A conventional storage container for lipstick, etc., is composed of a hakama member, an inner tube member with an axial notch whose lower end is inserted and fixed into the hakama member, a spiral member with a spiral groove rotatably attached to the outer periphery of the inner tube member, an outer tube part covering the outer periphery of the spiral member, a plate member supporting the lipstick that moves up and down inside the inner tube member, an engagement pin formed on the plate member that engages with the notch of the inner tube member and the spiral groove of the spiral member, and a cap that detachably fits with the hakama member that covers the outer periphery of the outer tube member.

However, in conventional storage containers for lipstick, etc., constructed in this manner, while it is easy to fill the container with lipstick if the upper end of the dish member protrudes upward from the upper end of the outer tube member, it is unsightly if the upper end of the dish member protrudes upward from the upper end of the upper tube member when in use, and is prone to consumer complaints such as injury from the protruding upper end of the dish member.
Because conventional lipstick storage containers are constructed as described above, they have the disadvantage that the upper end of the dish member can only be set to either protrude beyond the upper end of the outer tube member, or not protrude beyond the upper end of the outer tube member.

As an improvement, the applicant has previously developed a sash member, an inner tube member whose lower end is inserted and fixed into the sash member, a notch formed in the inner tube member in the axial direction with an open upper portion, a metal plate member that can move under its own weight and directly supports lipstick or the like and has an engagement pin that engages with the notch and is attached to the inner tube member so as to be movable up and down, a spiral member that is attached to the outer periphery of the inner tube member so as to be rotatable, an outer tube member that covers the outer periphery of the spiral member, and a screw that engages with the engagement pin of the plate member formed on the spiral member and is attached to the upper end of the outer tube member. The inventors have devised a storage container for lipstick, etc., which is composed of a spiral groove that guides the upper end of the plate member so that it does not protrude beyond the upper end of the outer tube member, a locking groove into which the engagement pin is inserted with the upper end of the plate member protruding upward from the upper end of the outer tube member formed to open into the notch on the upper side of the inner tube member, and a guide groove that opens into the spiral groove, which allows the engagement pin to be inserted and positioned within the locking groove formed at the top of the spiral member, allowing the upper end of the plate member to protrude upward from the upper end of the outer tube member, and have filed Utility Model Application No. 1-137150.

This Utility Model Application No. 1-137150 addresses the above-mentioned conventional drawbacks, namely, when filling with lipstick etc., the upper end of the metal dish member can be made to protrude above the upper end of the outer tube member, and when in use, the upper end of the dish member does not protrude above the upper end of the outer tube member, making it easy to fill with lipstick etc. and allowing it to be used safely and without looking unsightly. However, when rotating the outer tube member and the hakama to advance lipstick etc., if the outer tube member and the hakama are rotated particularly vigorously, the dish member can also rise with force, causing the dish member to move above the specified position, i.e., the engagement pin of the dish member can move to the position of the guide groove, causing the dish member to protrude above the upper end of the outer tube member.
If that were to happen, it would no longer be safe and presentable for use.

The problem to be solved is to provide a storage container for lipstick, etc., which allows the upper end of a metallic dish member to protrude above the upper end of the outer tube member when filling with lipstick, etc., but does not protrude above the upper end of the outer tube member when in use, making it easy to fill with lipstick, etc., and which can be used safely and without looking unsightly, but which does not move above the upper end of the outer tube member when rotating the outer tube member and the hakama to dispense lipstick, etc., because the dish member also rises with force when the outer tube member and the hakama are rotated, particularly with force, causing the dish member to move above a specified position and not protrude above the upper end of the outer tube member.

The present invention comprises a lid member, an inner cylinder member having a lower end inserted and fixed into the lid member, a notch formed in the inner cylinder member in the axial direction with an open upper portion, a metal plate member for directly supporting lipstick or the like, the plate member having an engagement pin attached to the inner cylinder member so as to be movable up and down and engage with the notch, a spiral member attached to the outer periphery of the inner cylinder member so as to be rotatable, an outer cylinder member covering the outer periphery of the spiral member, a spiral groove formed in the spiral member that engages with the engagement pin of the plate member and guides the upper end of the plate member so as not to protrude beyond the upper end of the outer cylinder member, and the notch on the upper side of the inner cylinder member. The main feature of this device is that it comprises an engagement groove into which the engagement pin is inserted with the upper end of the dish member protruding upward from the upper end of the outer tube member which is formed so as to open to the outside, and a guide groove which opens into the spiral groove which allows the engagement pin to be inserted and positioned within the engagement groove formed on the top of the spiral member, thereby allowing the upper end of the dish member to protrude upward from the upper end of the outer tube member, and a safety protrusion is formed at the opening of the guide groove which reduces the upward momentum of the dish member when the engagement pin comes into contact with the opening of the guide groove, thereby temporarily preventing the engagement pin from being guided from the spiral groove into the guide groove.

The present invention has the effect of preventing the plate member from moving above a predetermined position and protruding above the upper end of the outer tube member when the outer tube member and the hakama are rotated to dispense lipstick or the like, especially when the outer tube member and the hakama are rotated vigorously, causing the plate member to rise vigorously as well.

When the outer tube member and the hakama are rotated to dispense lipstick or the like, if the outer tube member and the hakama are rotated too forcefully, the dish member may also rise forcefully, causing the dish member to move above its designated position and protrude above the upper end of the outer tube member. This objective is achieved by forming a safety protrusion that reduces the upward momentum of the dish member when the engagement pin comes into contact with the opening of the guide groove, thereby temporarily preventing the engagement pin from being guided from the spiral groove into the guide groove.

The present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the embodiments shown in the drawings.
In the embodiment shown in Figures 1 to 7 , 1 is a slit member, which is composed of a slit member main body 2 having an open upper portion, and a cap fitting member 4 having a cap fitting portion 3 formed on the outer periphery above the open end of the slit member main body 2, which is fitted and fixed to the slit member main body 2.

5 is an inner tube member whose lower end is inserted and fixed into the hakama member 1. This inner tube member 5 has ring-shaped helical member locking projections 6, 7 at the top and bottom, a notch 8 in the axial direction, and a locking groove 9 near the top that opens into the notch 8.

10 is a helical member that is engaged with the helical member engaging protrusions 6, 7 that rotatably cover the outer periphery of the inner tube member 5. This helical member 10 has a helical groove 13 with a horizontal support shaft 12 at the top, and a guide groove 14 that opens into the helical groove 13 at a position corresponding to the engaging groove 9 of the inner tube member 5.

15 is an outer tube member attached to cover the outer periphery of the helical member 10.

Reference numeral 16 denotes a dish member having a predetermined weight movable by its own weight, which supports lipstick 17 attached so as to be movable up and down within the inner cylinder member 5, and an engagement pin 18 is attached to this dish member 16, which engages with the notch 8 of the inner cylinder member 5 and the spiral groove 13 of the spiral member 10. The raw material for this dish member 16 is mainly metal material such as iron, copper alloys such as brass, or aluminum, but is not limited to these, and it may also be a molded material made by kneading metal powder with plastic material.

The attachment portion of the engagement pin 18 to the dish member 16 is such that when the engagement pin 18 is engaged with the spiral groove 13 and the support groove 12 of the spiral member 10, the upper end of the dish member 16 does not protrude beyond the upper end of the outer tube member 15, and when the engagement pin 18 is engaged with the locking groove 9 of the inner tube member 5, the upper end of the dish member 16 protrudes beyond the upper end of the outer tube member 15.

Reference numeral 19 denotes a cap which covers the outer periphery of the outer tube member 15 and is detachably fitted into the cap fitting portion 3 of the hakama member 1 .

The lipstick storage container 20 configured as described above is rotated by holding the lipstick member 1 and the outer cylinder member 15, and the plate member 16 is positioned at the top as shown in FIG. 3.

Thereafter, as shown in Figures 5 and 6 , a push-up pin 23 is inserted through the push-up pin insertion hole 24 on the underside of the hakama member 1 so that the upper end of the dish member 16 can protrude beyond the upper end of the outer tube member 15, and the dish member 16 is pushed upward to position the engagement pin 18 within the guide groove 14 of the spiral member 10.

In this state, by rotating the lid member 1 and the outer cylindrical member 15 in a direction to raise the plate member 16, the engaging pin 18 is pushed into the engaging groove 9 of the inner cylindrical member 5 and engaged therein, as shown in FIG.
In this manner, the dish member 16 is filled with lipstick 17 in a state in which the upper end of the dish member 16 protrudes from the upper end of the outer cylinder member 15 .

When the dish member 16 is filled with lipstick 17, the dish member 16 is rotated downward by holding the hakama member 1 and the outer tube member 15, and the engagement pin 18 is pushed down from the locking groove 9 into the notch 8 by the surface formed on the same inclined plane as the spiral groove 13 of the guide groove 14 of the spiral member 10.

In this state, the upper end of the dish member 16 is positioned lower than the upper end of the outer tube member 15, and the dish member 16 moves up and down by rotating the hakama member 1 and the outer tube member 15. However, since the engagement pin 18 only engages with the spiral groove 13 and support groove 12 of the spiral member 10, the upper end of the dish member 16 does not protrude beyond the upper end of the outer tube member 15 as shown in Figure 3 .

Reference numeral 11 denotes a safety protrusion formed at a position where an engagement pin 18 on the upper edge of the spiral groove 13 is guided from the spiral groove 13 to the guide groove 14. This safety protrusion 11 acts to temporarily prevent the engagement pin 18 from being guided from the spiral groove 13 to the guide groove 14. When advancing lipstick or the like, if the outer tube member 15 and the hakama member 1 are rotated vigorously, the dish member 16 may also rise vigorously, causing the dish member 16 to move upward from a predetermined position and protrude above the upper end of the outer tube member 15. However, when this safety protrusion 11 comes into contact with the engagement pin 18, the upward momentum of the dish member 16 is reduced and the engagement pin 18 can be reliably guided to the support shaft 12.

Since the present invention is constructed as described above, it can also be used as a container for storing stick-shaped cosmetics such as stick eye shadow and stick foundation.

Claims (1)

a helical member; an inner tube member having a lower end inserted and fixed into the helical member; a notch formed in the inner tube member in the axial direction with an open upper portion; a plate member for directly supporting lipstick or the like, the plate member having an engagement pin that engages with the notch and that is attached to the inner tube member so as to be movable up and down; a helical member attached rotatably to the outer periphery of the inner tube member; an outer tube member covering the outer periphery of the helical member; a helical groove that engages with the engagement pin of the plate member formed in the helical member and guides the upper end of the plate member so as not to protrude beyond the upper end of the outer tube member; and an opening in the notch on the upper side of the inner tube member. a locking groove into which the engagement pin is inserted with the upper end of the plate member protruding upward from the upper end of the outer tube member formed as above, and a guide groove opening into the spiral groove which allows the engagement pin to be inserted and positioned within the locking groove formed on the top of the spiral member, thereby allowing the upper end of the plate member to protrude upward from the upper end of the outer tube member, and a protrusion is formed at the opening of the guide groove which reduces the momentum of the plate member rising when the engagement pin comes into contact with the opening, thereby temporarily preventing the engagement pin from being guided from the spiral groove into the guide groove.
