Specifically, as shown in Figures 4 and 5, the upper-end open storage groove portion 12 and the lower-end open storage groove portion 15 are formed by protruding isosceles triangular plate portions 39, 39 of the same shape at a distance approximately the thickness of the decorative panel 2 on both the left and right sides of the widthwise central portion of the outer surface 37 on the inner side, and a groove portion 40 between the isosceles triangular plate portions 39, 39 is formed in the horizontal plane portion including the apexes 41, 41 of the isosceles triangular plate portions 39, 39, and an upper and lower partition portion 42 (shown surrounded by a dashed line in Figure 5) is formed in the upper portion of the upper and lower partition portion 42 to form the upper-end open storage groove portion 12, and the lower portion thereof to form the lower-end open storage groove portion 15. In this embodiment, the upper and lower partitions 42 are composed of apex connection parts 42 that connect the apexes to each other, and intermediate connection parts 43 that connect the isosceles triangular plate parts 39, 39 to each other at the middle part in the longitudinal direction of the horizontal surface part, and the area between the inner outer surface 37 and the intermediate connection part 43, and between the intermediate connection part 43 and the apex connection part 42, are rainwater drainage holes 45 when it rains.

As a result, both the upper end open storage groove portion 2 and the lower end open storage groove portion 15 are open in the vertical direction F1 and the horizontal direction F2 perpendicular thereto (Figure 5), and have a right-angled triangular shape when viewed from the side. The upper surface portion 46 of the upper and lower partition portions 42 can abut against the horizontal lower edge portion 47 of the triangular plate portion 6, and the lower surface portion 49 of the upper and lower partition portions can abut against the horizontal upper edge portion 50 of the triangular plate portion 6.

In the upper end open storage groove portion 12 and the lower end open storage groove portion 15 having such a configuration, the widthwise central portion of the inner outer surface 37 forms the groove bottom surface portion 16, and the inner surfaces of the isosceles triangular plate portions 39, 39 form the groove inner side surface portions 17 (Figures 4 and 6) that are connected to both the left and right sides of the groove bottom surface portion 16.

In addition, the guide ridges 51 are provided in the vertical direction as the second linear engagement portion 21 on the inner side surfaces 17, 17 at a required distance from the groove bottom surface 16 in the horizontal direction, and a vertical guide groove portion 52 is provided between the groove bottom surface 16 and the guide ridges 51. Then, when the engagement ridges 10a are inserted into the vertical guide groove 52 from one end 53 to the other end 55, the side surfaces 19, 20 of the engagement ridges 10a and the guide ridges 51 are engaged in abutting contact with each other when the triangular plate portion 6 is accommodated in the upper end open accommodation groove portion 12 or the lower end open accommodation groove portion 15, thereby preventing the triangular plate portion 6 from moving out of the horizontal open end 22 (Figure 5), and preventing the rattling of the installed decorative panel 2a.

As described above, the engaging protrusions 10a are provided on the middle portions of the sides 9a, 9a of the triangle of the triangular plate portion 6, excluding the longitudinal side portions 9a1, 9a2. Therefore, when inserting the edge portion 56 of the triangular plate portion 6 into the vertical guide groove portion 52, the insertion is started from the thin portion 57 where the engaging protrusions 10a are not present. Then, the engaging protrusions 10a are pressed against the groove inner side surface portion 17 (FIG. 6(A)), so that the process of accommodating the triangular plate portion 10a in the upper end open accommodation groove portion 12 and the lower end open accommodation groove portion 15 can be easily performed.

The first retaining member 3a is connected at a right angle to a downwardly facing bottomed joint square tube portion 60 into which the upper end portion 59 of the end support 5a is inserted in a press-fit state, and a horizontally facing bottomed joint square tube portion 62 into which the end portion 61 of the upper cross member 25 is inserted in a press-fit state, and the bottom-open accommodation groove portion, which has a right-angled triangular shape in side view, is formed in the corners of both bottomed joint square tube portions 60, 62, as described above. In this embodiment, the upper end surface portion 64 of the downwardly facing bottomed joint tube portion 60 and the upper end portion 5a2 of the support 5a are connected by a screw 68 inserted through the screw insertion hole 5a3.

As shown in Figures 14 to 16, the second holding member 3b has a bottomed jointed square tube portion 66, into which the end portion 65 of the lower cross member 27 is inserted in a press-fit state, connected at a right angle to the top-bottom central portion of the outer surface 37 of the inner side of the square tube portion 63, into which the end support 5a can be inserted, and the upper end open storage groove portion 12, which has a right-angled triangular shape in side view and is configured similarly to the above, is formed at the inside corner between the upper portion of the square tube portion 65 and the bottomed jointed square tube portion 66. The second holding member 3b is fixed to the end support 5a with a screw 68 at the bottom surface portion 67 of the bottomed jointed square tube portion 66.

The third retaining member 3c has a bottomed jointed square tube portion 71, into which the upper end portion 70 of the middle support 5b is inserted in a press-fit state, connected downward at a right angle to the left and right central portion of the outer surface of the lower side of the square tube portion 69, through which the upper cross member 25 can be inserted, and the upper end open storage groove portion 12, which has a right-angled triangular shape in side view and is configured similarly to the above, is formed at the left and right corners of the square tube portion 63 and the bottomed jointed square tube portion 71. The second retaining member 3c is fixed to the upper cross member 25 with a screw 68 at the bottom surface portion 72 of the bottomed jointed square tube portion 71.

As shown in Figures 20 to 22, the fourth retaining member 3d has a bottomed jointed square tube portion 76, into which the lower end portion 75 of the middle support 5b is inserted in a press-fit state, connected upward at a right angle to the left and right central portion of the outer surface of the upper side of the square tube portion 73, through which the lower cross member 27 can be inserted, and the bottom-opened storage groove portion 12, which has a right-angled triangular shape in side view and is configured similarly to the above, is formed at the left and right corners of the square tube portion 73 and the bottomed jointed square tube portion 76. The fourth retaining member 3c is fixed to the lower cross member 27 with a screw at the bottom surface portion 77 of the bottomed jointed square tube portion 76.

The fifth retaining member 3e has the configuration described above based on Figures 4 to 8, and is used by inserting the end support 5a into the square tube portion 34 with the isosceles triangular plate portions 39, 39 that constitute the upper end open storage groove portion 12 and the lower end open storage groove portion 15 facing each other, and the square tube portion 34 can slide up and down on the support 5a.

As shown in Figures 23 to 25, the sixth holding member 3f has a configuration in which the upper end open storage groove portion 12 and the lower end open storage groove portion 15 are provided on both sides of a square tube portion 79 having the same configuration as the fifth holding member 3e, and is used by inserting the middle support 5b into the square tube portion 79, which can slide up and down on the middle support 5b.

As described above, the decorative panels 2 are arranged in, for example, five tiers in each of the left and right decorative panel arrangement compartments 31, 31 via the top, bottom, left and right retaining members 3. To explain the procedure, with the upper cross member 25 removed, the first tier of decorative panels 2a is moved downward in each decorative panel arrangement compartment 31, 31, and the triangular plate portions 6, 6 (Fig. 2) provided on both sides of the lower end portion are inserted into the upper end open storage groove portions 12, 12 (Fig. 16) of the second retaining member 3b located at the lower end side of the end support 5a and the fourth retaining member 3d located at the lower end portion of the middle support 3b. As a result, as shown in Figure 1, the horizontal lower edge 47 (Figure 1) of the triangular plate portion 6, 6 abuts against the bottom surface 80 of the upper end open storage groove portion 12, and as shown in Figure 6, the side surfaces 19, 20 of the engagement protrusion portion 10a and the guide protrusion portion 51 engage with each other in an abutting state, preventing the triangular plate portion 6, 6 from moving in a direction to come out of the lateral open ends 22, 22 (Figure 5) of the upper end open storage groove portion 12, 12. As a result, the triangular plate portion 6, 6 is restrained in the upper end open storage groove portion 12, 12.

Thereafter, the end support 5b is inserted into the angular tube portion 34 of the fifth retaining member 3e, and the middle support 5b is inserted into the angular tube portion 79 (Figure 25) of the sixth retaining member 3f, and the fifth retaining member 3e and the sixth retaining member 3f are lowered to insert the triangular plate portions 6, 6 provided on both sides of the upper end portion of the first tier of decorative panel 2a into the lower end open storage groove portions 15, 15 of the fifth retaining member 3e and the sixth retaining member 3f. As a result, the horizontal upper edge 50 of the triangular plate portions 6, 6 abuts against the lower surface 49 (FIG. 5) of the upper and lower partition portion 42, and as shown in FIG. 6, the side surfaces 19, 20 of the engagement protrusion portion 10a and the guide protrusion portion 51 engage with each other in an abutting state, preventing the triangular plate portions 6, 6 from moving in a direction to come out of the lateral open ends 22, 22 of the lower end open storage groove portion 15. As a result, the triangular plate portions 6, 6 are restrained in the lower end open storage groove portion 15, 15.

Then, the second-stage decorative panel 2b is moved downward, and the triangular plate portions 6, 6 provided on both sides of its lower end portion are inserted into the upper end open storage groove portions 12, 12 of the fifth holding member 3e and the sixth holding member 3f provided on both sides of the upper end portion of the first-stage decorative panel 2a. As a result, the horizontal lower side portions 47 of the triangular plate portions 6, 6 abut against the upper surface portion 46 (FIG. 5) of the upper and lower partition portion 42, and as shown in FIG. 6, the engaging protrusion portion 10a and the side portions 19, 20 of the guide protrusion portion 51 are engaged in an abutting state with each other, and the triangular plate portion 6 is prevented from moving in the direction of coming out of the lateral open end 22 of the upper end open storage groove portion 12. As a result, the triangular plate portions 6, 6 are restrained in the upper end open storage groove portions 12, 12.

After that, in the same manner as in the case of the first tier decorative panel 2a, the end support 5a is inserted into the square tube portion 34 of the fifth holding member 3e, and the middle support 5b is inserted into the square tube portion 79 of the sixth holding member 3f, and the fifth holding member 3e and the sixth holding member 3f are lowered, and the triangular plate portions 6, 6 provided on both sides of the upper end portion of the second tier decorative panel 2b are inserted into the lower end open storage groove portions 15, 15 of the fifth holding member 3e and the sixth holding member 3f.

As a result, in the same manner as in the first-level decorative panel 2a, the horizontal upper edge portions 50, 50 of the triangular plate portions 6, 6 come into contact with the upper surface portion 49 of the upper and lower partition portion 42, and the side portions 19, 20 of the engaging protrusion portion 10a and the guide protrusion portion 51 come into contact with each other, preventing the triangular plate portions 6, 6 from moving in a direction that removes them from the lateral open ends 22, 22 of the lower-end open storage groove portions 15, 15. As a result, the triangular plate portions 6, 6 are restrained in the lower-end open storage groove portions 15, 15.

Following in the same manner, the third tier decorative panel 2c, the fourth tier decorative panel 2d, and the fifth tier decorative panel 2e are attached to the left and right decorative panel placement compartments 31, 31.

Finally, the upper cross member 25 is attached by attaching the first retaining members 3a, 3a to the left and right parts of the upper cross member 25 and attaching the third retaining member 3c to the center part of the left and right parts. The third retaining member 3c is attached by fixing it to the upper cross member 25 as described above, and the first retaining members 3a, 3a are attached by inserting the end portion 61 of the upper cross member 25 into the horizontal bottomed joint square tube portion 62 in a press-fit state (Figure 11).

To install the upper cross member 25 to which the first retaining member 3a and the third retaining member 3c are attached in this manner, as shown in Figure 13, the upper end portions 59, 59 of the left and right end pillars 5a, 5a are inserted into the bottomed joint square tube portions 60, 60 of the left and right first retaining members 3a, 3a, and the upper end portion 70 of the middle pillar 30 is inserted into the bottomed joint square tube portion 71 of the central third retaining member 3c, while the triangular plate portions 6, 6 provided on both sides of the upper end portion of the fifth tier decorative panel 2e are inserted into the lower end open storage groove portions 15, 15 of the first retaining member 3d and the third retaining member 3c, thereby completing these insertions. In this state, the upper end portions 59, 59 of the left and right end supports 5a, 5a are pressed into the bottomed joint square tube portion 60 (Figure 11), and the upper end portion 70 of the middle support 30 is pressed into the bottomed joint square tube portion 71 (Figure 19), completing a stable, integrated decorative panel device 1 in which the decorative panels 2 are arranged in five tiers via the top, bottom, left and right retaining members 3, 3, 3, 3 in each of the left and right decorative panel arrangement compartments 31, 31.

As described above, the decorative panel device 1 having such a configuration can be attached to the decorative panel 2 based on a simple insertion method, so even a beginner can easily assemble the device. In this embodiment, the engaging protrusions 10a are provided symmetrically on the front and back surfaces of the triangular plate portions 6, 6 of the decorative panel 2 (Figure 10), so there is no need to worry about directionality when inserting the triangular plate portions 6, 6 of the decorative panel 2 into the lower end open storage groove portion 15 or the upper end open storage groove portion 12.

In addition, each installed decorative panel 2 can be securely installed in the decorative panel placement compartment 31 by the engagement between the triangular plate portion 6 and the lower end open storage groove portion 15, and the engagement between the triangular plate portion 6 and the lower end open storage groove portion 15, so there is no risk of the decorative panel 2 coming off.

In the decorative panel device 1, there are almost no gaps between the inner surfaces 81 of the left and right end pillars 5a, 5a and the vertical sides 82 of the decorative panel 2, between the side surfaces 83, 83 of the middle pillar 30 and the left and right vertical sides 84, 84 of the decorative panel 2, between the upper side 85 of the lower cross member 27 and the lower side 86 of the first tier decorative panel, between the lower side 87 of the upper cross member 25 and the upper side 89 of the fifth tier decorative panel 2e, and between the horizontal sides 90, 91 of the vertically adjacent decorative panels 2, 2, giving the panel decorative surface a sense of unity in appearance and improving its appearance.

This is because relief steps 33 (Fig. 10) are provided on the sides surrounding the right angles at the four corners of the decorative panel 2 to allow the thickness portion T (e.g., Fig. 17) of the retaining member 3 to escape, so that the sides 9, 9 of the decorative panels 2, 2 arranged above and below are in contact with each other and the sides 9 of the decorative panel 2 are in contact with the side surfaces of the support 5.

Specifically, in the relief step 33, the thickness portion T of the side of the bottomed joint angular tube portion 60 of the first holding member 3a (FIG. 13), the thickness portion T of the side of the bottomed joint angular tube portion 62 (FIG. 13), the thickness portion T of the angular tube portion 65 of the second holding member 3b (FIG. 16), the thickness portion T of the bottomed joint angular tube portion 66 (FIG. 16), the thickness portion T of the side of the angular tube portion 69 of the third holding member 3c (FIG. 19), and the thickness portion T of the side of the bottomed joint angular tube portion 71 (FIG. 19), This is because it is possible to provide relief for the thickness portion T (FIG. 22) of the side of the angular tube portion 73 of the fourth holding member 3d, the thickness portion T (FIG. 22) of the side of the bottomed joint angular tube portion 76, the thickness portion T (FIG. 24) of the side of the angular tube portion 34 of the fifth holding member 3e, 1/2 the thickness portion T (FIG. 7) of the upper and lower partition portions 42, the thickness portion T (FIG. 24) of the side of the angular tube portion 79 of the sixth holding member 3f, and 1/2 the thickness portion T (FIG. 24) of the upper and lower partition portions 42.

In addition, in this embodiment, the upper end open storage groove portion 12 and the lower end open storage groove portion 15 have a triangular shape when viewed from the side as shown in Figure 1, which reduces the area of the attached decorative panel 2 that is hidden, thereby making the attached decorative panel 2 as noticeable as possible and improving the decorative effect of the panel decorative surface.

The decorative panel device 1 having such a configuration can be installed in the garden of a house or around a building to add color, for example, as shown in FIG. 26. One installation method is to insert the lower ends of the end supports 5a, 5a located on both the left and right ends into the ground. For example, when the total length of the end supports is 180 cm, they are buried about 30 cm into the ground in an upright state. Alternatively, they can be used in various ways, such as leaning them against the wall of a building.

When the decorative panel device is installed outdoors, rainwater can be drained during rainfall through the rainwater drainage holes 45 (Figure 7) between the inner outer surface 37 and the intermediate connection part 43, and between the intermediate connection part 43 and the apex connection part 42.
