Description

The present invention relates to a tray-type packaging box.

There is known a tray-type packaging box in which the upper edges of the front and rear end walls and the left and right side walls are folded inward to form a two-layer structure (for example, see Patent Document 1). Since the end faces of the sheet pieces that form the end walls and side walls are folded inward and are difficult to see from the outside, this type of packaging box is highly aesthetic and has a luxurious and appealing appearance, and is widely used for packaging high-quality fruits and vegetables and various other items.
For example, Patent Document 1 proposes a packaging box in which score lines, which are pressed into and broken during dismantling, are provided on the outer left and right side walls of a two-layered side wall structure. Before dismantling of this packaging box (i.e., when it is being used as a tray-type packaging box), the score lines have not yet been broken, and the outer left and right surfaces of the side walls extend flatly over the entire height and front-rear directions of the packaging box (see Patent Document 1).

However, as described above, when the packaging box is in use, the cut line is exposed and the side wall portions which form the smooth outer left and right surfaces are difficult to grip due to the smooth outer surfaces, and the exposed cut line may result in a poor appearance.
Therefore, there is room for improvement in terms of achieving both grippability and aesthetic appeal of the packaging box.

This invention was conceived in consideration of the above-mentioned problems, and one of its objectives is to achieve both gripping ability and aesthetic appeal in a packaging box. However, this objective is not the only objective. Another objective of this invention is to achieve actions and effects derived from the configurations shown in the "Mode for Carrying Out the Invention" described below, which are actions and effects that cannot be obtained with conventional technology.

The packaging box disclosed herein comprises a rectangular bottom wall portion, front and rear end walls and left and right side walls standing around the bottom wall portion, each of the front and rear end walls comprising an outer end wall portion connected to the bottom wall portion via the front and rear end edges of the bottom wall portion, and an inner end wall portion connected to the outer end wall portion and folded back inward in the front-to-rear direction from an upper edge of the outer end wall portion, each of the left and right side walls comprising an outer wall portion connected to the bottom wall portion via the left and right end edges of the bottom wall portion, and an inner end wall portion connected to the outer wall portion via the left and right end edges of the bottom wall portion and folded back inward in the front-to-rear direction from an upper edge of the outer wall portion. A tray-type packaging box having an inner wall portion folded inward, and front and rear insertion pieces connected to both the front and rear sides of the outer wall portion, folded at the front and rear edges of the outer wall portion, and inserted between the outer end wall portion and the inner end wall portion, wherein the outer wall portion has a lower half portion connected to the bottom wall portion via the left and right edges and extending over the entire area in the front-to-rear direction, and the outer wall portion has an upper half portion extending over the entire area in the front-to-rear direction, spaced upward from the lower half portion, separated by a long hole extending in the front-to-rear direction.

The disclosed packaging box allows for both easy gripping and aesthetic appeal.

A packaging box as an embodiment will be described with reference to the drawings.
A packaging box is a three-dimensional packaging material assembled from flat sheet materials (blank sheets) and has a tray shape with an open top.
In particular, the packaging box of this embodiment is a tray-type packaging box that is rectangular in top view and has a pair of opposing end walls and a pair of opposing side walls in a different direction from the pair of end walls as the tray-type peripheral walls, and each end wall and each side wall has a two-layer (double) structure consisting of two plate-like portions. In other words, the packaging box is a so-called frame-type packaging box.
The sheet material to be assembled into the packaging box is a sheet-like packaging material cut into a predetermined shape.

In this embodiment, the packaging box in the assembled state (hereinafter referred to as the "assembled state") and the packaging box in the unfolded state are placed on a horizontal surface, and the horizontal direction is further divided into the front-to-rear direction (in the drawings, the front is indicated by "F" and the rear is indicated by "B") and the left-to-right direction (in the drawings, the left is indicated by "L" and the right is indicated by "R"). The left-to-right direction is defined based on the state from the front to the rear.
In the unfolded packaging box, the outside and inside are determined based on the center of a portion (a bottom wall portion 10 described below) that forms the outer bottom wall portion of the packaging box.
In addition, the vertical direction in which gravity acts is defined as downward (indicated by "D" in the figure), and the opposite direction to downward is defined as upward (indicated by "U" in the figure).

In the embodiment described below, the configuration is explained in item [1], the action and effect of the configuration of item [1] is explained in the following item [2], and modified examples of items [1] and [2] are described in item [3].

[1. Configuration]
Fig. 1 is a perspective view showing an assembled state of a packaging box 1 according to this embodiment, and Fig. 2 is a development view of the packaging box 1. The packaging box 1 is provided with a rectangular bottom wall portion 10, a pair of end wall portions 20 opposed to each other in the front-rear direction, and a pair of side wall portions 30 opposed to each other in the left-right direction.
In this embodiment, the packaging box 1 is assembled from a single die-cut cardboard sheet. However, the packaging box 1 is not limited to the cardboard sheet, and may be formed from cardboard, plastic sheet, or the like.

Each of the pair of end walls 20 has a double structure. Specifically, the front end wall 20 has an outer end wall 21 connected to the front edge 12 of the front and rear end edges 12 (front and rear edges, hereinafter referred to as "edges 12") of the bottom wall 10, and an inner end wall 23 connected to the outer end wall 21 and folded back from the upper edge 21E of the outer end wall 21 toward the rear side (one specific embodiment of "inner side in the front-rear direction"). Similarly, the rear end wall 20 has an outer end wall 21 connected to the rear edge 12 of the bottom wall 10 and folded back from the upper edge 21E of the outer end wall 21 toward the front side (another specific embodiment of "inner side in the front-rear direction"). In this embodiment, the inner end wall portion 23 of each of the pair of end wall portions 20 is connected to the outer end wall portion 21 via the upper end wall portion 22 that extends parallel to the horizontal plane. The inner end wall portion 23 is folded back from the upper edge 21E of the outer end wall portion 21 toward the inside in the front-to-rear direction via the upper end wall portion 22.

Each of the pair of side walls 30 also has a double structure. Specifically, the right side wall 30 includes an outer wall 31 connected to and erected on the right side edge 13 of the left and right edges 13 (left and right edges, hereinafter referred to as "side edges 13") of the bottom wall 10, and an inner wall 33 connected to the outer wall 31 and folded back from an upper edge 31E of the outer wall 31 toward the left side (one specific embodiment of "inner side in the left-right direction"). Similarly, the left side wall 30 includes an outer wall 31 connected to and erected on the left side edge 13 of the bottom wall 10, and an inner wall 33 connected to the outer wall 31 and folded back from an upper edge 31E of the outer wall 31 toward the right side (another specific embodiment of "inner side in the left-right direction"). In this embodiment, the inner wall portion 33 of each of the pair of side wall portions 30 is connected to the outer wall portion 31 via an upper wall portion 32 extending parallel to the horizontal plane. The inner wall portion 33 is folded back from an upper edge 31E of the outer wall portion 31 toward the inside in the left-right direction via the upper wall portion 32.
The side wall portion 30 is provided with external insertion pieces 35 (insertion pieces) that connect to both the front and rear sides of the outer wall portion 31. In the assembled state, the external insertion pieces 35 are folded at the front and rear edges of the outer wall portion 31 and inserted between the outer end wall portion 21 and the inner end wall portion 23. This makes the external insertion pieces 35 invisible from the outside.
Further, the side wall portion 30 is provided with an elongated hole 30H extending from a part of the front external insertion piece 35 through the outer wall portion 31 to a part of the rear external insertion piece 35. In the assembled state, both ends of the elongated hole 30H are inserted between the outer end wall portion 21 and the inner end wall portion 23 together with the external insertion piece 35, and are not visible from the outside.

By virtue of the above-mentioned long hole 30H, the packaging box 1 has a rectangular lower half 2 and upper half 3 that are separated from each other by the long hole 30H in the outer wall portion 31 of the side wall portion 30 and extend across the entire front-to-rear direction of the outer wall portion 31. The lower half 2 is located below the long hole 30H and is connected to the bottom wall portion 10 via the side edge 13, and the upper half 3 is located above the long hole 30H and is connected to the upper wall portion 32 via the upper edge 31E.

The structure of the packaging box 1 will be described in detail below mainly with reference to the development view of the packaging box 1 shown in FIG.
The bottom wall 10 has fold lines A at positions corresponding to the edges 12, 13. The fold lines A are grooves extending linearly along the surface of the packaging box 1, and are formed on the surface that becomes the inner surface of the packaging box 1. The walls 20, 30 are connected to the bottom wall 10 via the fold lines A.

The end wall portion 20 is provided with a plurality of fold lines B, C extending in the left-right direction, and the outer end wall portion 21, the upper end wall portion 22 and the inner end wall portion 23 of the end wall portion 20 are successively connected to the bottom wall portion 10 via the fold lines B, C. Specifically, the upper end wall portion 22 is connected to the outer end wall portion 21 via the fold line B, and the inner end wall portion 23 is connected to the upper end wall portion 22 via the fold line C.
Furthermore, the rear end wall portion 20 is provided with an inner bottom wall portion 24 that is connected to the inner end wall portion 23 via a fold line D that extends in the left-right direction.
The fold lines B, C, and D are all grooves extending linearly along the surface of the packaging box 1, and are all formed on the surface on the side where the fold line A is provided.

The outer end wall portion 21 is a portion that, in an unfolded state, is connected to the bottom wall portion 10 via the edge 12 and extends outward in the front-to-rear direction from the edge 12, and the left-to-right dimension of the outer end wall portion 21 is equal to the dimension of the edge 12. When the packaging box 1 is assembled, the outer end wall portion 21 is folded up with the fold line A as its base end, and forms part of the outer peripheral wall of the packaging box 1 as shown in FIG.
A pair of upper edges 21E of the outer end wall portion 21 are provided on both the left and right sides of the outer end wall portion 21, and in an unfolded state, extend in the left-right direction and are located outboard of the end edges 12 in the front-rear direction. The pair of upper edges 21E are provided with fold lines B. When the packaging box 1 is assembled, the end wall portion 20 is folded along the fold lines B, and the pair of upper edges 21E form the upper edges of the outer end wall portion 21 as shown in FIG.
A protrusion 21p is provided between the pair of upper edges 21E, which extends outward in the front-rear direction beyond the pair of upper edges 21E in the unfolded state, and protrusion 21p protrudes upward beyond the pair of upper edges 21E in the assembled state. Protrusion 21p extends from between the pair of upper edges 21E to a position where an edge 22E of upper end wall portion 22, which will be described later, is provided.

The upper end wall portion 22, in the unfolded state, extends outward in the front-rear direction from each of the pair of upper edges 21E, and has an edge 22E extending in the left-right direction outside the pair of upper edges 21E in the front-rear direction. A fold line C is provided on the edge 22E.
When the packaging box 1 is assembled, the upper end wall portion 22 is folded along the fold line B on the upper edge 21E and the fold line C on the end edge 22E, so that the upper end wall portion 22 extends above the bottom wall portion 10 along the extension surface of the bottom wall portion 10, i.e., the horizontal plane, as shown in Figure 1.

The inner end wall portion 23 is a portion that, in an unfolded state, extends outward in the front-to-rear direction from edges including the edge 22E of the upper end wall portion 22, and when the packaging box 1 is assembled, is folded back downward toward the inside in the front-to-rear direction with the fold line C as a base end to form a part of the inner peripheral wall of the packaging box 1 as shown in Fig. 1. The left-to-right dimension of the inner end wall portion 23 is set shorter than the dimension of the edge 12 by the dimension by which the outer wall portion 31 and the inner wall portion 33 of the side wall portion 30 are separated from each other.
The lower edge 23E of the inner end wall portion 23 is located outboard in the front-to-rear direction relative to the edge that includes the edge 22E of the upper end wall portion 22 in the unfolded state, and extends in the left-right direction.
In this embodiment, an engagement groove 23g is provided in the left-right center of the lower edge 23E of the front inner end wall portion 23, the engagement groove 23g being recessed inward in the front-rear direction from the lower edge 23E in the unfolded state. Also, a fold line D is provided on the lower edge 23E of the rear inner end wall portion 23.

The inner bottom wall 24 is a portion that extends rearward from the lower edge 23E of the rear inner end wall 23 in the unfolded state, and has a rectangular portion with a left-right dimension equal to that of the inner end wall 23 and an outer shape slightly smaller than the bottom wall 10. When the packaging box 1 is assembled, the inner bottom wall 24 is folded with the folding line D as the base end to overlap the bottom wall 10 from above, and forms the bottom wall of the packaging box 1 together with the bottom wall 10. In addition, the inner bottom wall 24 is provided with engagement pieces 24p that protrude outward in the front-rear direction or left-right direction from the center of each of three edges of the four edges of the rectangular portion except the edge connected to the inner end wall 23. In the assembled state, the engagement pieces 24p engage with the engagement grooves 23g of the front inner end wall 23 and the engagement grooves 33g of the inner wall 33 described later, ensuring that each wall 20, 30 is in an upright state.

The side wall portion 30 is provided with a plurality of fold lines E, F extending in the front-rear direction, and the outer wall portion 31, the upper wall portion 32 and the inner wall portion 33 of the side wall portion 30 are successively connected to the bottom wall portion 10 via the fold lines E, F. Specifically, the upper wall portion 32 is connected to the outer wall portion 31 via the fold line E, and the inner wall portion 33 is connected to the upper wall portion 32 via the fold line F.
Additionally, the outer insertion pieces 35 of the side wall portion 30 are connected to both the front and rear sides of the outer wall portion 31 via fold lines G extending in the left-right direction.
Furthermore, the side wall portion 30 of this embodiment is provided with a pair of internal insertion pieces 36 that are connected to both the front and rear sides of the inner wall portion 33, and each of the pair of internal insertion pieces 36 is connected to the inner wall portion 33 via a fold line H that extends in the left-right direction. Note that the internal insertion pieces 36 are omitted in FIG. 1.
Like fold lines B, C, and D, fold lines E, F, G, and H are all grooves extending linearly along the surface of the packaging box 1, and are all formed on the surface on the side where fold line A is provided.

The outer wall portion 31 is a portion that, in an unfolded state, is connected to the bottom wall portion 10 via the side edge 13 and extends outward in the left-right direction from the side edge 13, and the dimension of the outer wall portion 31 in the front-to-rear direction is equal to the dimension of the side edge 13. When the packaging box 1 is assembled, the outer wall portion 31 is folded with the fold line A as its base end, and forms a part of the outer peripheral wall of the packaging box 1 as shown in FIG.
A pair of upper edges 31E of the outer wall portion 31 are provided on both the front and rear sides of the outer wall portion 31, and in an unfolded state, are located outboard in the left-right direction from the side edges 13 and extend in the front-rear direction. The pair of upper edges 31E are provided with fold lines E. When the packaging box 1 is assembled, the outer wall portion 31 is folded along the fold lines E, and the pair of upper edges 31E form the upper edges of the outer wall portion 31 as shown in FIG.
A protrusion 31p is provided between the pair of upper edges 31E, which extends outward in the left-right direction beyond the pair of upper edges 31E in the unfolded state, and protrusion 31p protrudes upward beyond the pair of upper edges 31E in the assembled state. Protrusion 31p extends from between the pair of upper edges 31E to a position where an edge 32E of upper wall portion 32, which will be described later, is provided.

The upper wall portion 32, in the unfolded state, extends outward in the left-right direction from each of the pair of upper edges 31E, and has an end edge 32E extending in the front-rear direction outside the pair of upper edges 31E in the left-right direction. A fold line F is provided on the end edge 32E.
When the packaging box 1 is assembled, the upper wall portion 32 is folded along a fold line E on the upper edge 31E and a fold line F on the end edge 32E, so that the upper wall portion 32 extends above the bottom wall portion 10 along the extension surface of the bottom wall portion 10, i.e., along the horizontal plane, as shown in FIG. 1.

The inner wall portion 33 is a portion that, in an unfolded state, extends outward in the left-right direction from edges including the edge 32E of the upper wall portion 32, and when the packaging box 1 is assembled, is folded back downward toward the inside in the left-right direction with the fold line F as a base end to form a part of the inner peripheral wall of the packaging box 1. The dimension of the inner wall portion 33 in the front-rear direction is set to be equal to the dimension of the side edge 13 .
The lower edge 33E of the inner wall portion 33, in the unfolded state, extends in the front-rear direction and is located outward in the left-right direction from an edge including the edge 32E of the upper wall portion 32. The lower edge 33E is provided with an engagement groove 33g that is recessed inward in the left-right direction from the left-right central portion of the lower edge 33E in the unfolded state.

The pair of outer insertion pieces 35 and the pair of inner insertion pieces 36 are connected to the outer wall portion 31 and the inner wall portion 33 via fold lines G, H provided along the front and rear edges of the outer wall portion 31 and the inner wall portion 33, respectively, and extend outward in the front-rear direction. The front-rear dimensions of the outer insertion pieces 35 and the inner insertion pieces 36 are set to be smaller than half the left-right dimension of the outer end wall portion 21, and the left-right dimensions of the outer insertion pieces 35 and the inner insertion pieces 36 are set to be equal to or smaller than the front-rear dimension of the outer end wall portion 21. Note that, here, the outer insertion pieces 35 and the inner insertion pieces 36 are shown as examples with a portion of the outer front-rear direction outer side missing, but the outer insertion pieces 35 and the inner insertion pieces 36 may be rectangular with no missing portion, or may have other shapes.

The long hole 30H is a slit penetrating the unfolded packaging box 1 in the thickness direction. The long hole 30H is provided continuously from a part of the front outer insertion piece 35 through the outer wall portion 31 to a part of the rear outer insertion piece 35. In other words, the long hole 30H is provided so as to straddle both of a pair of fold lines G provided on both the front and rear sides of the outer wall portion 31.

Next, an example of an assembly procedure for the above-mentioned packaging box 1 will be described.
First, the end wall portions 20 of the unfolded packaging box 1 are folded along the fold lines A, B, C, and D, and the side wall portions 30 are folded along the fold lines A, E, and F. As a result, the walls 20 and 30 have a double structure.
Thereafter, the front outer insertion piece 35 and the inner insertion piece 36 are folded at the fold lines G and H while overlapping each other, and are inserted between the outer end wall portion 21 and the inner end wall portion 23 of the front end wall portion 20. At the same time, the rear outer insertion piece 35 and the inner insertion piece 36 are folded at the fold lines G and H while overlapping each other, and are inserted between the outer end wall portion 21 and the inner end wall portion 23 of the rear end wall portion 20.
Furthermore, the engagement groove 23g of the front end wall portion 20 and the engagement groove 33g of the side wall portion 30 each engage with the engagement piece 24p of the inner bottom wall portion 24 of the rear end wall portion 20, thereby reliably maintaining the upright state of the end wall portion 20 and the side wall portion 30, and the packaging box 1 is in the assembled state shown in Figure 1.
The procedure for folding along each of the folding lines A to H is not limited to that described above, and each order may be reversed.

At this time, both ends (front and rear ends) of the long hole 30H are inserted between the outer end wall 21 and the inner end wall 23 together with the outer insertion piece 35 as described above, and are not visible from the outside. As a result, the packaging box 1 has a lower half 2 extending in the entire front-to-rear direction below the long hole 30H in the outer wall 31, and an upper half 3 extending in the entire front-to-rear direction at a position separated upward from the lower half 2 across the long hole 30H. The lower half 2 and upper half 3 create an appearance of a wooden box in which the outer wall 31 is formed from two plate-like members separated vertically.

[2. Action and Effects]
Since the packaging box 1 of the present embodiment is configured as described above, it can provide the following actions and effects.

The packaging box 1 has a lower half 2 and an upper half 3 that are separated from each other by a long hole 30H in the outer wall 31 of the packaging box 1. As a result, as described above, the outer wall 31 of the packaging box 1 has an appearance resembling a wooden box formed from two plate-like members separated vertically, improving the aesthetics. In addition, when carrying the packaging box 1, the carrier can place their hands in the gap between the lower half 2 and the upper half 3, improving the ease of gripping the packaging box 1. Therefore, the packaging box 1 can achieve both grippability and aesthetic appeal.

The outer end wall portion 21 and the outer wall portion 31 are provided with protrusions 21p, 31p extending upward from their upper edges 21E, 31E, respectively, so that the stacking ability of the packaging box 1 can be improved.
This will be described in detail with reference to Fig. 3. Fig. 3 is a schematic perspective view showing a state in which two packaging boxes 1 are stacked vertically. As shown in Fig. 3, the protruding pieces 21p, 31p of the lower packaging box 1 abut against the outer end wall portion 21 and the outer wall portion 31 of the upper packaging box 1 from the outside, respectively, to regulate the position of the upper packaging box 1.
In this way, when two or more packaging boxes 1 are stacked vertically, the position of the packaging box 1 stacked from above is regulated by the protruding pieces 21p, 31p of the packaging box 1 directly below, so that the stacked state of the packaging boxes 1 is stable. Therefore, stacking ability can be improved.

Furthermore, in the packaging box 1 of this embodiment, when the packaging box 1 is assembled, the protrusions 21p, 31p rise upward, and as shown in FIG. 3, a long and thin hole h appears between the left and right upper end wall portions 22 and between the front and rear upper wall portions 32. By using a plate-shaped lid material Li having a protrusion that can be inserted into this long and thin hole h, the top surface of the packaging box 1 can be stably covered, thereby further improving the convenience of the packaging box 1.

3. Modifications
The above-described embodiment is merely an example, and is not intended to exclude various modifications and application of techniques not explicitly stated in the embodiment. Each configuration of the present embodiment can be modified in various ways without departing from the spirit of the embodiment. In addition, the configurations can be selected as necessary, and can be combined appropriately.

The shape of the inner bottom wall portion 24 is not limited to the above. For example, the inner bottom wall portion may be provided with a second long hole 24H' that creates an appearance like that of a wooden box of a packaging box.
4 shows a development view of the packaging box 1' of the modified example, together with a top view of the assembled packaging box 1'. The modified packaging box 1' has the same configuration as the packaging box 1 of the above-described embodiment, except that a second long hole 24H' is provided in the inner bottom wall 24'.
As shown in the upper diagram of Fig. 4, the inner bottom wall 24' of the modified packaging box 1' has a second long hole 24H' in the front-rear direction at the center in the left-right direction, dividing the inner bottom wall 24' into two parts, left and right. When this packaging box 1' is assembled, the inner bottom wall of the packaging box 1' has a left half 4 that abuts against the left side wall 30' and extends in the front-rear direction over the entire area between the front and rear end walls 20', and a right half 5 that abuts against the right side wall 30' and extends in the front-rear direction over the entire area between the front and rear end walls 20' with the second long hole 24H' between them. This creates an appearance of a wooden box with its inner bottom ( inner bottom wall 24') formed from two plate-like members separated from each other to the left and right. This further improves the aesthetic appearance of the packaging box 1'. Furthermore, by providing the second long hole 24H', the packaging box 1' can be made lighter than the packaging box 1 of the above-mentioned embodiment.
In addition, in the packaging boxes 1, 1', the inner bottom wall portions 24, 24' may be omitted.

The number of long holes 30H provided in the side wall portion 30 is not limited to one. For example, two long holes may be provided in the side wall portion 30. In this case, the packaging box has a lower half, an upper half, and a middle half between the lower half and the upper half that is spaced apart from both the lower half and the upper half and extends over the entire area in the front-to-rear direction.

The upper end wall portion 22 and the upper side wall portion 32 may be omitted. That is, the inner end wall portion may be directly connected to the outer end wall portion without an upper end wall portion therebetween, and may be folded back inward in the front-to-rear direction from the upper edge of the outer end wall portion when the packaging box is assembled. The inner wall portion may be directly connected to the outer wall portion without an upper side wall portion therebetween, and may be folded back inward in the left-to-right direction from the upper edge of the outer wall portion when the packaging box is assembled. Each protrusion 21p, 31p may also be omitted.

The packaging box 1 may be printed with a wood grain pattern on its outer surface, i.e., the surface on which the fold lines A to H are not provided. In the packaging box 1 described above, the inner surface of the packaging box 1 is not exposed, and the packaging box 1 is folded so that its outer surface is exposed. Therefore, by printing a wood grain pattern on the outer surface of the packaging box 1, an appearance that is more like a wooden box is created. This can further improve the aesthetic appearance.

Claims (3)

A tray-type packaging box comprising a rectangular bottom wall portion, front and rear end walls and left and right side walls extending around the bottom wall portion, each of the front and rear end walls comprising an outer end wall portion connected to the bottom wall portion via front and rear end edges of the bottom wall portion, and an inner end wall portion connected to the outer end wall portion and folded back inward in the front and rear direction from an upper edge of the outer end wall portion, each of the left and right side walls comprising an outer wall portion connected to the bottom wall portion via the left and right end edges of the bottom wall portion, an inner wall portion connected to the outer wall portion and folded back inward in the left and right direction from an upper edge of the outer wall portion, and front and rear insertion pieces connected to both the front and rear sides of the outer wall portion, folded back at the front and rear edges of the outer wall portion, and inserted between the outer end wall portion and the inner end wall portion,
a lower half portion of the outer wall portion connected to the bottom wall portion via the left and right edges and extending over the entire area in the front-rear direction;
an upper half portion extending in the entire front-to-rear direction at a position spaced upward from the lower half portion across a long hole extending in the front-to-rear direction from a part of the front insertion piece through the outer wall portion to a part of the rear insertion piece ,
The packaging box is characterized in that the inner wall portion has a flat plate shape that closes the long hole when viewed from the left and right direction . The packaging box includes an inner bottom wall portion that overlaps the bottom wall portion from above and forms a bottom wall of the packaging box together with the bottom wall portion,
a left half portion of the inner bottom wall portion, the left half portion abutting the left side wall portion and extending in the front-rear direction over the entire area between the front and rear end wall portions;

The packaging box according to claim 1, further comprising: a right half portion in the inner bottom wall portion that abuts against the right side wall portion and extends in the front-to-rear direction across the entire area between the front and rear end wall portions, sandwiching a second long hole that extends in the front-to-rear direction across the entire area between the front and rear end wall portions. 3. The packaging box according to claim 1, wherein the outer end wall portion and/or the outer wall portion has a protrusion protruding upward from a portion of the upper edge of the outer end wall portion and/or the outer wall portion.
