Description

The present invention relates to a gutter support and a gutter support structure.

A known support structure for a rain gutter consists of a flat metal plate attached to the eaves of a roof, with a bent portion formed at the tip of the metal plate that fits along the side wall of the rain gutter, and tapping screws that penetrate the bent portion and the rain gutter to support the rain gutter.
A known support structure for a gutter is one in which a U-shaped gutter support portion capable of supporting the side and bottom walls of the gutter is formed at the tip side of a flat metal plate, and the rear end side of the flat metal plate is fixed to the batten portion of the roof panel with fasteners such as screws (see Patent Document 1).
Furthermore, a support structure for rain gutters is known in which connecting fittings are provided so as to protrude horizontally from the exterior wall, and cross bars are provided above the connecting fittings via vertical rods along the side wall edges of the rain gutter, and the rain gutter is secured by L-shaped fixing members bolted to the cross bars (see Patent Document 2).

Fixing structures that use tapping screws that penetrate the gutter require tools to fix the screws, and installation takes time. Furthermore, stress acts on the fixing part of the screw every time the gutter expands and contracts due to heat, which causes the screw to lose its effectiveness over time. Also, waterproofing is required after the screws are driven in, but this takes time to cure, and it is difficult to cure the waterproofing treatment in case of rain.
The structure described in Patent Document 1 requires that a low-strength metal plate be fixed to a high-strength mounting member by welding or riveting, which takes a long time to manufacture. In addition, the low-strength metal plate may be damaged during repairs or maintenance after a long time. Furthermore, in the case of a large eaves gutter, there is a risk that the metal plate may be partially bent by wind force, and the eaves gutter support part may come off.
The structure described in Patent Document 2 requires tools to attach the fixing members with bolts and nuts, and has the problem that the installation takes time.

The present invention was made in consideration of the above-mentioned circumstances, and aims to provide a gutter support and gutter support structure that is easy to install and does not apply stress due to thermal expansion and contraction of the gutter, so that it does not cause deformation of the gutter and is less likely to become misaligned.

In order to solve the above problems, the present invention proposes the following aspects.
(1) The gutter support in this form is a gutter support that supports a gutter and is attached to a roof or a wall, and comprises a bottom plate that receives the bottom wall of the gutter and a side plate that receives the side wall of the gutter, and a fixing member is removably provided on the upper inner surface of the side plate, where the upper side wall of the gutter is located, which presses against and engages the upper side wall of the gutter when attached to the upper inner surface of the side plate, and the fixing member has clamping portions on both widthwise sides that clamp the upper side panel when the fixing member is attached to the upper inner surface of the side plate .

The gutter support described above can support the gutter by placing it on the inside of the bottom plate and the side plates on both sides. Also, by attaching fixing members to the upper part of the inner side of the side plates of the gutter support, the fixing members can hold down the upper part of the gutter side wall. Therefore, the gutter can be stably supported by the gutter support without using tools.
Furthermore, the fixing members are configured to press and lock the upper part of the side wall of the gutter, so they do not impede the thermal expansion and contraction of the gutter, and the gutter can shift and move due to thermal expansion and contraction. Therefore, the force caused by the thermal expansion and contraction of the gutter is not applied to the fixing members, so the gutter does not deform, and the fixing members are unlikely to come off the gutter. In addition, there is no need to insert screws into the gutter to support it, so there is no need for waterproofing treatment, and installation and construction are easy.

(2) In the gutter support of this embodiment, a configuration can be adopted in which a convex portion is formed on either the upper portion of the fixing member or the upper portion of the inner surface of the side panel, and a hole or a recess into which the convex portion fits is formed on the other of the upper portion of the fixing member or the upper portion of the inner surface of the side panel.

By fitting the protrusion into the hole or recess, the fixing member can be easily and stably attached to the upper part of the inner surface of the side plate of the gutter support. Therefore, the gutter can be stably supported by the simple task of fitting the protrusion without the need for tools.

(3) In this embodiment, a configuration can be adopted in which the fixing member has a locking piece that is attached to the upper part of the side wall of the gutter when attached to the upper part of the inner surface of the side panel.

The upper part of the side wall of the gutter can be locked with the locking piece provided on the fixing member. Therefore, by attaching the fixing member to the upper part of the inner surface of the side plate of the gutter support, the locking piece can stably support the gutter. The locking piece locks the upper part of the gutter side wall by pressing against the upper part of the side wall, so the thermal expansion and contraction of the gutter is not inhibited, and the gutter can shift and move due to thermal expansion and contraction.

(4) In this embodiment, a configuration can be adopted in which the distance between the upper part of the inner surface of the side panel and the locking piece is smaller than the thickness of the upper part of the side wall of the gutter.

The upper part of the gutter's side wall is locked by the locking piece of the fixing member, but if the distance between the upper part of the inner surface of the side panel and the locking piece is made smaller than the thickness of the upper part of the gutter's side wall, the upper part of the gutter's side wall can be sandwiched and held between the upper part of the inner surface of the gutter's side wall and the locking piece. This allows the gutter support to stably support the gutter.

The fixing member can be firmly attached to the upper part of the inside of the side panel by clamping the upper part of the inside of the side panel with the clamping part provided at the top of the fixing member. In addition to the fixing force provided by the engagement of the protrusions, the clamping part can further increase the support stability of the gutter by the gutter support.

( 5 ) The gutter support structure of this form is a structure in which a gutter is supported by a gutter support attached to the eaves of a roof or the upper part of a wall, the gutter support having a bottom plate that supports the bottom wall of the gutter and a side plate that supports the side wall of the gutter, a fixing member that engages the upper part of the side wall of the gutter when attached to the upper part of the inner side of the side plate is removably provided on the upper inner side of the side plate where the upper part of the side wall of the gutter is located , and the gutter support is characterized in that a clamping portion is formed on both widthwise sides of the upper part of the side plate of the fixing member that clamps the upper part of the inner side of the side plate when the fixing member is attached to the upper part of the inner side of the side plate .

According to the above-mentioned gutter support structure, the gutter can be placed on the inside of the bottom plate and the side plate and supported. Also, by attaching a fixing member to the upper part of the inner side of the side plate of the gutter support, the fixing member can hold down the upper part of the gutter side wall. Therefore, the gutter can be stably supported by the gutter support.
Furthermore, the fixing members are configured to press and lock the upper part of the side wall of the gutter, so they do not impede the thermal expansion and contraction of the gutter, and the gutter can shift and move due to thermal expansion and contraction. Therefore, the force caused by the thermal expansion and contraction of the gutter is not applied to the fixing members, so the gutter does not undergo abnormal deformation, and the fixing members are unlikely to come off the gutter. In addition, since screws are not inserted into the gutter to support it, no waterproofing treatment is required, and installation and construction are easy.

( 6 ) In the gutter support structure of this form, the gutter support may be configured so that a convex portion is formed on either the upper portion of the fixing member or the upper portion of the inner surface of the side panel, and a hole or recess into which the convex portion fits is formed on the other of the upper portion of the fixing member or the upper portion of the inner surface of the side panel.

By fitting the protrusion into the hole or recess, the fixing member can be easily and stably attached to the upper part of the inner surface of the side plate of the gutter support. Therefore, the gutter can be stably supported by the simple task of fitting the protrusion without the need for tools.

( 7 ) In the gutter support structure of this form, a configuration can be adopted in which the gutter support has a locking piece on the lower side of the fixing member that is attached to the upper part of the side wall of the gutter when the fixing member is attached to the upper part of the inner surface of the side panel.

The upper part of the side wall of the gutter can be locked with the locking piece provided on the fixing member. Therefore, by attaching the fixing member to the upper part of the inner surface of the side plate of the gutter support, the locking piece can stably support the gutter.

( 8 ) In this form of gutter support structure, a configuration can be adopted in which the distance between the upper inner surface of the side panel and the engaging piece in the gutter support is made smaller than the thickness of the upper end of the side wall of the gutter.

The gutter support of the present invention can support the gutter by placing it on the inside of the bottom plate and side plate. In addition, by attaching a fixing member to the upper part of the inner side of the side plate of the gutter support, the fixing member can hold down the upper part of the gutter side wall. Therefore, the gutter can be stably supported by the gutter support.

"First embodiment"
Hereinafter, a gutter support and a gutter support structure according to a first embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
Fig. 1 shows a gutter support 1 according to the first embodiment, which is attached to, for example, the tip of an eaves board of a folded-plate roof 2 shown in Fig. 2 and is used to support a gutter 3. Fig. 1 shows the gutter support 1 installed horizontally, and Fig. 2 shows the gutter support 1 attached to the tip of an eaves board having a slight roof slope.
A plurality of gutter supports 1 of the first embodiment are attached at predetermined intervals along the eaves of a half-height roof 2, and a gutter 3 is supported by the plurality of gutter supports 1.

The folded plate roof 2 shown in the present embodiment is, for example, made of a metal corrugated folded plate roof material having a plurality of alternating peaks and valleys. For example, the peaks and valleys are both formed in an isosceles trapezoid shape.
In addition, the folded plate roof 2 has various types such as a seam joint type, a folded plate overlap type, and a folded plate fitting type, and the gutter support 1 of this embodiment can be applied to any type of folded plate roof. The gutter support 1 can also be applied to roofs of other general structures other than a folded half roof, or to the upper part of a wall that receives a gutter.

As shown in FIG. 2, the eaves gutter support 1 is bolted to the tip portion 2A of the eaves end plate constituting the upper portion of the folded plate roof 2 by two sets of bolts 4A and nuts 4B.
The gutter support 1 is a receiving type that is attached to a roof and has a band-shaped bottom plate 5 and side plates 6, 7 that are provided so as to rise up from both ends of the bottom plate 5 in the longitudinal direction, and the gutter 3 is supported by the bottom plate 5 and the side plates 6, 7.
The gutter 3 has a bottom wall 10 and side walls 11, 12. The side walls 11, 12 are integrally molded with the bottom wall 10 at an angle slightly exceeding 90°, forming an open-top gutter 3 that gradually widens upward as the distance between the side walls 11, 12 increases upward.
In the structure shown in Figure 2, a cylindrical drainage member 14A is provided to penetrate the bottom wall 10 of the rain gutter 3, and an elbow pipe 14B is provided at the lower part of this drainage member 14A. The lower end of the elbow pipe 14B is connected to a drainage basin or the like via a vertical pipe (not shown) so as to be able to drain water.

In the gutter support 1, the side plates 6, 7 are arranged at an angle slightly greater than 90° to the bottom plate 5, so that the bottom plate 10 of the gutter 3 is supported in contact with the bottom plate 5 of the gutter support 1, the side plate 11 of the gutter 3 is supported in contact with the side plate 6 of the gutter support 1, and the side plate 12 of the gutter 3 is supported in contact with the side plate 7 of the gutter support 1.
1 and 2, a plurality of gutter supports 1 are installed at predetermined intervals along the length of the gutter 3, and the gutter 3 is supported by the plurality of gutter supports 1. Figures 1 and 2 show a cross-sectional view of a portion of the gutter 3, and show only one of the plurality of gutter supports 1 arranged along the length of the gutter 3.

In the gutter support 1, the upper ends of the side plates 6, 7 are integrally connected by a band-shaped top plate 8, and the bottom plate 5, the side plates 6, 7 and the top plate 8 form the gutter support 1 into an inverted trapezoidal frame when viewed from the side.
A curved portion 6a is formed on the upper side of the side plate 6 at a position corresponding to the upper end of the side wall 11 of the gutter 3, by slightly bulging the upper side of the side plate 6 outward, and an extension piece 6b is formed by extending upward via this curved portion 6a. This extension piece 6b extends at a substantially right angle to the plane including the bottom plate 5.
A curved portion 7a is formed at the upper portion of the side plate 7 at a position corresponding to the upper end position of the side wall 12 of the gutter 3, by slightly bulging the upper portion of the side plate 7 outward, and an extension piece 7b is formed extending upward via the curved portion 7a. The extension piece 7b extends at a substantially right angle to the plane including the bottom plate 5.

Taking into consideration the roof slope and the like, the rain gutter 3 is formed so that the side wall 11 is slightly taller than the side wall 12. Therefore, in the state shown in Fig. 1, the curved portion 6a is formed at a position slightly higher than the stepped portion 7a.
The upper end position of the extension piece 7b is set at a position slightly lower than the upper end position of the extension piece 6b, and the top plate 8, which extends from the upper end position of the extension piece 7b and extends in a direction parallel to the bottom plate 5, is connected to the extension piece 6b at a position slightly lower than the upper end position of the extension piece 6b.
The gutter 3 is made of, for example, a single resin, a composite resin, a multi-layer resin, or a composite material in which a metal plate is coated with resin.

The top plate 8 is made of a strip of approximately the same width as the bottom plate 5, but for reinforcement, flange edges 8a are formed on both widthwise edges of the top plate 8, which curve and extend downward from both widthwise edges. These flange edges 8a are formed over almost the entire length of the top plate 8, except for the parts of the top plate 8 that connect to the side plates 6 and 7.
An upward connecting piece 8b is formed at the portion of the top plate 8 where it is connected to the side plate 6, and this connecting piece 8b and the upper end of the extension piece 6b are aligned and joined by a joining member 13 which will be described later.
The gutter support 1 is preferably made of a single resin, a composite resin, a multi-layer resin, or a composite material in which metal is coated with resin.

The portion of the gutter support 1 where the side plate 6 is connected to the bottom plate 5 is configured to allow the side plate 6 to rotate as described below.
A hinge portion (not shown) consisting of a curled portion having a width of about half the width of the bottom plate 5 is formed on the end side of the bottom plate 5 at the portion where the bottom plate 5 is joined to the side plate 6, and a hinge portion 6d consisting of a curled portion having a width of about half the width of the side plate 6 is formed on the end side of the bottom plate 5 at the portion where the side plate 6 is joined to the bottom plate 5. A cutout portion 5a is formed in a portion of the bottom plate 5 adjacent to the hinge portion, and the hinge portion 6d is disposed in the portion of the cutout portion 5a, thereby connecting the bottom of the side plate 6 to the end of the bottom plate 5. The hinge portion of the bottom plate 5 and the hinge portion 6d of the side plate 6 are disposed adjacent to each other along the joint portion between the bottom plate 5 and the side plate 6, and the side plate 6 is connected to the bottom plate 5 so as to be able to rotate up and down by an axial member such as a pin (not shown) that passes through these hinge portions.

With the above configuration, the side plate 6 is connected to the bottom plate 5 so that it can be rotated at a predetermined angle, and for example, the inclination angle of the side plate 6 relative to the bottom plate 5 can be tilted further to the left than the state shown in Figure 1. If the inclination angle of the side plate 6 is tilted to the left from the state shown in Figure 1, a large gap is created between the side plate 6 and the top plate 8. This gap becomes an introduction section that is used when inserting the rain gutter 3 between the bottom plate 5 and the top plate 6 from the side of the rain gutter support 1, as described below.

In the gutter support 1, a fixing member 15, which will be described below with reference to Figs. 3 to 8, is detachably attached to the inside of the portion on the upper side of the side plate 6 where the curved portion 6a is formed.
The fixing member 15 is composed of an attachment portion 15A that is detachably attached to the upper side of the side plate 6 located above the curved portion 6a, and a locking piece 15C that extends downward from the attachment portion 15A via the curved portion 15B. The attachment portion 15A has a rectangular attachment plate 15a, a convex portion 15b formed in the center of the outer surface of the attachment plate 15a, and clamping pieces (clamping portions) 15d, 15d that are formed to protrude from both side edges in the width direction of the outer surface of the attachment plate 15a.

In the fixing member 15, the width of the mounting plate 15a is formed to be equal to the width of the upper side of the side plate 6 (the width of the extension piece 6b). Clamping pieces 15d are formed on both widthwise edges of the mounting plate 15a so as to protrude from the mounting plate 15a toward the side plate 6, and the mounting plate 15a and the clamping pieces 15d, 15d are arranged to be U-shaped in a plan view. Therefore, when the mounting plate 15a is brought into close contact with the inner surface side of the upper part of the side plate 6 (the inner surface side of the extension piece 6b), the clamping pieces 15d, 15d can clamp the upper side of the side plate 6 and bring the mounting plate 15a into close contact with the upper part of the side plate 6.
A round hole 6c into which the protrusion 15b can be fitted is formed at the upper side of the side plate 6 at a position where the mounting plate 15a is in close contact. The protrusion 15b in this embodiment is configured by arranging four columnar locking pieces 15e adjacent to each other with a gap between them, and an inclined protrusion 15f for preventing the protrusion 15b from coming off is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the tip of the four locking pieces 15e. When the protrusion 15b is inserted into the hole 6c, the inclined protrusion 15f on the tip side of the protrusion 15b passes through the hole 6c and protrudes outside the side wall 6, preventing the protrusion 15b from coming off. The fixing member 15 is preferably made of a resin material such as an injection molding resin.

The locking piece 15C extending downward from the mounting portion 15A is shaped to extend downward along the side plate 6 below the curved portion 6a when the mounting plate 15a is aligned with the upper portion of the side plate 6 as shown in Figures 6 and 7. The gap width d between the side plate 6 below the curved portion 6a and the locking piece 15C is formed to be slightly narrower than the thickness of the upper end of the side wall of the gutter 3.

A joining member 13 having a structure similar to that of the upper side of the fixing member 15 is provided at a portion of the top plate 8 that is joined integrally with the extending piece 6b of the side plate 6. A connecting piece 8b that extends upward at a substantially right angle to the top plate 8 is provided at the portion of the top plate 8 that faces the side plate 6, and the joining member 13 is attached to this connecting piece 8b.
The joining member 13 has a rectangular mounting plate 13a, a protrusion 13b formed in the center of the outer surface of the mounting plate 13a, and clamping pieces 13d, 13d formed to protrude from both widthwise edges of the outer surface of the mounting plate 13a. In addition, a hole (not shown) into which the protrusion 13b can be fitted is formed in the center of the upper end of the extension piece 6b corresponding to the joining position of the joining member 13, and a hole (not shown) that communicates with the hole of the extension piece 6b is also formed in the connection piece 8b overlapping the extension piece 6b.
The structure of the protrusion 13 b is the same as that of the protrusion 15 b formed on the fixing member 15 .

The protrusion 13b of the joint member 13 is fitted into the hole of the connection piece 8b of the top plate 8 and the hole of the extension piece 6b. Furthermore, the upper end of the extension piece 6b is sandwiched between the clamping pieces 13d, 13d, so that the joint member 13 integrates the extension piece 6b and the connection piece 8b. In this manner, the side plate 6 and the top plate 8 are connected by joining the connection piece 8b and the extension piece 6b with the joint member 13.
Furthermore, when the convex portion 13b is disengaged from the hole portion of the connection piece 8b and the extension piece 6b and the clamping of the extension piece 6b by the clamping pieces 13d, 13d is released, the joining member 13 can be separated from the connection piece 8b and the extension piece 6b.

The gutter support 1 constructed as described above is, for example, as shown in Fig. 2, fixed to the eaves end board tip 2A by a bolt 4A penetrating the top plate 20 and the eaves end board tip 2A and a nut 4B screwed onto the bolt 4A. In the gutter support structure shown in Fig. 2, the gutter support 1 is bolted to the eaves end of the folded roof 2 by two sets of bolts 4A and nuts 4B that are provided penetrating the top plate 8.
In FIG. 2, a half-height roof 2 is provided on a wall portion W of a building via a base layer B, and has a slight roof slope.

When the gutter support 1 is attached to the eaves, the gutter 3 is not yet supported by the gutter support 1, and the fixing members 15 are not yet attached. At this point, the joining members 13 joining the side panels 6 and the top panel 8 are to be removed from these. To remove the joining members 13, the protrusions 13b of the joining members 13 are pulled out from the holes in the extension pieces 6b and the holes in the connection pieces 8b to release the engagement by the joining members 13.
This operation releases the connection between the side plate 6 and the top plate 8, allowing the side plate 6 to be rotated further to the left from the state shown in Figure 1, creating a wide gap between the bottom plate 5 and the top plate 8, allowing the rain gutter 3 to be installed on top of the bottom plate 5 through this gap.

The gutter 3 is inserted so that the side wall 12 of the gutter 3 contacts the side plate 7 side of the gutter support 1. After the gutter 3 is inserted, the side plate 6 is rotated back to the position shown in Fig. 1. The side plate 6 is positioned so as to contact the outside of the side wall 11 of the gutter 3, and the upper end of the extension piece 6b of the side plate 6 moves to the same height as the joining member 13 of the top plate 8, so that the side plate 6 and the top plate 8 can be connected together by fitting the convex part 13b of the joining member 13 into the hole part of the connection piece 8 and the hole part 6c of the extension piece 6b.
When the gutter 3 is supported by the bottom plate 5 and side plates 6, 7 of the gutter support 1 so as to surround the gutter 3, the upper portions of the side walls 6, 7 of the gutter 3 are not particularly engaged.

With the gutter 3 placed inside the gutter support 1, the upper end of the side wall 12 of the gutter 3 is located inside the curved portion 7a of the side wall 7, and the upper end of the side wall 11 of the gutter 3 is located inside the curved portion 6a of the side plate 6. When this position is reached, the fixing member 15 with the locking piece 15C facing downward is fitted as shown in Figures 5 to 7 from the state shown in Figures 3 and 4. That is, as shown in Figures 5 to 7, the protrusion 15b is fitted into the hole 6c, and the extension piece 6b is clamped by the left and right clamping pieces 15d, 15d. Also, the upper end of the side wall of the gutter 3 is clamped between the locking piece 15C of the fixing member 15 and the side plate 6, and the upper end of the side wall 11 can be locked by the locking piece 15C attached to the upper end of the side wall 11.
In addition, when another fixing member 15 with the locking piece 15C facing downward is similarly fitted into the hole on the side plate 7, the upper end of the side wall of the gutter 3 is clamped between the locking piece 15C of the other fixing member 15 and the side plate 7, and the upper end of the side wall 12 can be locked by the locking piece 15C attached to the upper end of the side wall 12.

As described above, by fitting one fixing member 15 into the upper end side of side wall 6 and the other fixing member 15 into the upper end side of side wall 7, the upper ends of side walls 11 and 12 of the gutter 3 can be engaged with each other.
8, the gap width d between the side plate 6 and the locking piece 15C is slightly narrower than the thickness of the upper end of the side wall 11 in the gutter 3. Therefore, when the fixing member 15 is fitted to the upper end of the side plate 6 as described above, the upper end of the side wall 11 is sandwiched between the side plate 6 and the locking piece 15C, and the side wall 11 can be stably supported.

Similarly, the gap width d between the side plate 7 and the locking piece 15C is narrower than the thickness of the upper end of the side wall 12 in the gutter 3. Therefore, when another fixing member 15 is fitted to the upper end of the side plate 7 as described above, the upper end of the side wall 12 is sandwiched between the side plate 7 and the locking piece 15C, and the side wall 12 can be stably supported.
By fitting one fixing member 15 into the upper end of side plate 6 and the other fixing member 15 into the upper end of side plate 7, the side walls 11, 12 of the gutter 3 can be stably supported, so that the gutter 3 can be stably supported by the gutter support 1.

Furthermore, the side walls 11, 12 are engaged by the fixing members 15, 15 by clamping and pressing the upper ends of these side walls with the locking pieces 15C, so the thermal expansion and contraction of the gutter 3 is not hindered, and the gutter 3 can shift in its own length direction due to thermal expansion and contraction. Therefore, the force caused by the thermal expansion and contraction of the gutter 3 does not act in a direction that would remove the fixing members 15, so abnormal deformation caused by thermal expansion is not caused in the gutter, and the fixing members 15 do not easily come off the gutter 3. In addition, since screws are not inserted into the gutter 3 to support it, no water-stopping treatment is required in this structure, and the gutter support 1 has excellent installation and workability.

In the support structure using the gutter support 1 described above, the gutter 3 can be easily locked by fitting and attaching the two fixing members 15. Furthermore, the fixing members 15, 15 can be stably attached by the simple operation of fitting the convex portion 15b into the hole portion 6c. Therefore, the gutter 3 can be stably supported by the simple operation of fitting the convex portion 15b without the need for tools. The gutter 3 is reliably supported by the fitting of the fixing members 15, 15, and there is no risk of it coming off even if the gutter 3 sways slightly due to wind force, etc.
Furthermore, the fixing members 15, 15 are attached by fitting the protrusions 15b together, and it is possible to release the engagement of the fixing members 15 as necessary by releasing the fitting of the fixing members 15 and pulling out the fixing members 15 individually. Therefore, when performing maintenance on the gutter 3, the fixing members 15 can be removed, and a structure can be provided that does not impede maintenance work on the gutter 3.

Second Embodiment
9 to 12 show a gutter support according to a second embodiment of the present invention, and the gutter support 19 of the second embodiment is provided with a fixing member 20 having a different configuration from the fixing member 15 applied to the gutter support 1 of the previous first embodiment. The configuration of the gutter support 19 excluding the fixing member 20 has the same configuration as the gutter support 1 of the first embodiment.
10 to 12, the fixing member 20 in the second embodiment has a structure having a mounting portion 20A, a curved portion 20B, and a locking piece 20C that is equivalent to the above-mentioned fixing member 15. The mounting portion 20A also has an equivalent structure having a rectangular mounting plate 20a, a convex portion 20b formed in the center of the outer surface of the mounting plate 20a, and clamping pieces (clamping portions) 20d, 20d formed to protrude from both side edges in the width direction of the outer surface of the mounting plate 20a.
The fixing member 20 of this example differs from the previously described fixing member 15 in that the convex portion 20b is a cylindrical protrusion, and the clamping piece 20d is divided into three by slits 20e, 20e and is formed slightly longer than the previous clamping piece 15d.

The protrusion 20b of the fixing member 20 is formed with an outer diameter that allows it to fit into the hole 6c of the side plate 6, similar to the protrusion 15b of the locking piece 15 described above. The clamping piece 20d is divided into three by the slits 20e, 20e, and the width of the central clamping piece 20d is formed larger than the width of the other clamping pieces 20d. An inward claw portion 20f is formed at the tip of the central clamping piece 20d.
The clamping piece 20d is formed slightly longer than the clamping piece 15d described above, so that the tip side of the clamping piece 20d is formed to a length that protrudes outward from the extending piece 6b when the protruding portion 20b is fitted into the hole 6c of the side plate 6 as shown in Fig. 12. Furthermore, when the mounting plate 20a is aligned with the extending piece 6b as shown in Fig. 12, the claw portion 20f of the central clamping piece 20d engages with the outer corner of the extending piece 6b, preventing the fixing member 20 from coming off.

The fixing member 20 shown in FIGS. 10 to 12 is fitted to the side plate 6 or 7 of the gutter support 1 in the same manner as the fixing member 15 described above, and engages the upper end of the side wall of the gutter 3.
9, the locking piece 20C of the fixing member 20 fixed to the side plate 6 locks the upper end of the side wall 11 of the rain gutter 3. Also, the locking piece 20C of the fixing member 20 fixed to the side plate 7 locks the upper end of the side wall 12 of the rain gutter 3.
In addition, reference numeral 8d in FIG. 9 denotes a through hole for inserting a bolt when bolting the roof material.

When the fixing member 20 is fitted to the side plate 6, the claw portions 20f, 20f act as stoppers to prevent the fixing member 20 from coming off the extension piece 6b and lock the fixing member 20. When the fixing member 20 is fitted to the side plate 7, the claw portions 20f, 20f act as stoppers to prevent the fixing member 20 from coming off the extension piece 7b and lock the fixing member 20.
Therefore, the fixing member 20 does not easily come off either on the side plate 6 side or the side plate 7 side, and stably engages the side walls 11, 12 of the rain gutter 3.
In addition, the same effects as the above-mentioned fixing member 15 can be obtained in terms of the fact that it is not easily affected by the thermal expansion of the rain gutter 3, the fixing member 20 is not easily removed, and the rain gutter 3 can shift due to thermal expansion even if it is locked by the locking piece 20C of the fixing member 20. Furthermore, the fixing member 20 can be removed as necessary during maintenance of the rain gutter 3, so it does not become an obstacle during maintenance of the rain gutter 3.

Incidentally, the mounting structure for mounting the gutter supports 1, 19 according to this embodiment to a roof is not limited to the structure exemplified in FIG. 2, and various other mounting structures can be adopted.
13, for example, a configuration can be adopted in which a support bolt 30 is provided that penetrates the top plate 8 in the vertical direction, and this support bolt 30 is supported by an eaves material 31 of the roof. A structure can be adopted in which the gutter support 1 is suspended and fixed by providing the required number of nuts 32, 33 that screw onto the support bolt 30 at the required locations.

Alternatively, the gutter support 1 may be suspended by providing a support bolt 30 that penetrates a rafter or the like installed along the eaves material of the roof.
Furthermore, when mounting the gutter support 1 on a wall, an L-shaped stay member or the like can be attached to the wall and the top plate of the gutter support 1 can be bolted to this stay member to realize a support structure for the gutter 3.

Incidentally, in the above-mentioned embodiment, a structure is adopted in which the convex portions 15b, 20b provided on the fixing members 15, 20 are fitted into holes provided on the side plates 6, 7, but a structure may also be adopted in which holes are provided on the fixing members 15, 20 and convex portions having the same structure as the above-mentioned convex portions 15b, 20b are provided on the side plates 6 or 7. The fitting structure of the fixing members can be realized by providing a convex portion on either the fixing member side or the side plate side and a hole portion on the other. Furthermore, if the purpose is to fit the fixing members 15, 20 to the side plates 6, 7, the portions for fitting the convex portions are not limited to holes and may be configured to have concave portions.
In the embodiment described so far, holes are provided because the side plates 6, 7 are thin, but if the side plates 6, 7 or the mounting plates 15a, 20a are made sufficiently thick, a structure in which recesses are provided instead of holes can be adopted. If the side plates 6, 7 or the fixing members 15a, 20a are sufficiently thick, a structure in which recesses are provided instead of holes and the fixing pieces 15, 20 can be attached and detached by fitting them into protrusions can also be adopted.
