指で把持することが可能な把持部および当該把持部から第一方向に延出した延出部を有する基部と、前記延出部の前記把持部とは反対側の端部から延出して前記第一方向と交差する第二方向に向けて屈曲した屈曲部と、前記屈曲部の前記延出部とは反対側の端部から前記第二方向に沿って延出した軸部と、を有する本体と、
前記軸部に形成され、歯間への挿入が可能な外形で構成された清掃部と、を備え、
前記延出部は、前記第一方向に直交する断面の形状が、奇数個の頂点を有する凸多角形であり、
前記延出部の、前記屈曲部の屈曲外側である背側の面は、前記凸多角形の辺に対応する平坦面として形成されている歯間清掃具。
