Description

The present invention relates to the structure of an opening and closing body.

Shutter curtains, which constitute shutter devices, are an opening and closing structure that is installed in openings in buildings. Shutter devices include lift-type shutters, in which the shutter curtain moves up and down to open and close the opening, and horizontal sliding shutters, in which the shutter curtain moves left and right to open and close the opening. A commonly known type of shutter curtain is made of rectangular metal slats connected together by their long sides so that they can swing freely.

In horizontal sliding shutters, each slat has a vertical length, and the upper and lower edges of the shutter curtain are guided and moved by guide rails that face the upper and lower edges on the building side. The upper and lower edges of the shutter curtain are provided with rollers that roll along the groove-shaped guide rail. The rollers on the lower edge of the shutter curtain support the shutter curtain itself and allow it to move freely within the guide rail. These rollers are composed of a support roller with a horizontal axis for supporting the shutter curtain itself, and a horizontal roller with a vertical axis for supporting the upper and lower edges of the shutter curtain within the upper and lower guide rails (see Patent Documents 1 and 2).
When the opening of the horizontal sliding shutter is closed, the locking device is used to lock the shutter. The locking device is attached to the vertical frame that is the edge of the shutter curtain in the moving direction, and the deadbolt is protruded and engaged against the vertical frame that is the side edge of the building opening that faces the vertical frame, thereby locking the shutter.

実開平4-2894号公報Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 4-2894 特開2002-357063号公報JP 2002-357063 A

However, in the locking device for horizontally sliding shutters, the shutter curtain is moved by a handle attached to the vertical frame of the shutter curtain, and the locking device is activated at the end of the movement where the opening is closed, but at this end of the movement, the vertical frame and the vertical frame do not face each other in a straight line, and the locking device does not operate correctly, meaning that the deadbolt cannot be locked, resulting in a locking failure. This is because a clearance is provided to make it easier for the shutter curtain to move within the guide rail, and the guide rail has some play that allows the shutter curtain to swing in the width direction of the groove, so the vertical frame that makes up the shutter curtain does not move along the center of the width direction of the groove between the upper and lower guide rails, and as a result, the vertical frame moved by the handle is pushed from the side where the operator has his hand on it, for example the outdoor side, to the opposite indoor side. In addition, because the vertical frame is long, it can bend at the handle, which is located approximately in the center of the length, meaning that the vertical frame warps and misaligns in the front-to-back direction (thickness direction as a shutter curtain), which can also cause the locking device to not work properly, resulting in poor locking.

Some horizontally sliding shutters are configured with two shutter curtains that move along the same guide rail. In this case, a locking device is provided on the vertical frame of one shutter curtain and a receiving member is provided on the vertical frame of the other shutter curtain so that the vertical frames, which are the edges of the shutter curtains in the direction of movement, can be locked together. However, because both vertical frames can move freely along the guide rail as mentioned above, there is a risk of malfunctions such as misalignment with the guide rail or warping of the vertical frames themselves, which can prevent the locking from working properly.

The present invention was made in consideration of the above situation, and its purpose is to provide a structure for an opening/closing body that allows the opening/closing body, such as a shutter curtain, to be locked smoothly and prevents locking failures when the opening/closing body is closed.

Next, means for solving the above problems will be described with reference to the drawings corresponding to the embodiments.
The structure of the opening/closing body according to the first aspect of the present invention is a structure of an opening/closing body 11 that is slidably moved by being guided at both side edges by a pair of guide rails 13, 15 disposed opposite to each other,
A convex portion 65 is provided on an opposing surface 53 of at least one of the frame body 47 that is an end edge in the movement direction of the opening/closing body 11 and another frame body 77 that faces the frame body 47 when the opening/closing body 11 is closed, the opposing surface 53 facing the other frame body 77, and a concave portion 93 into which the convex portion 65 fits is formed on an opposing surface 83 of the other frame body 77,
The protrusion 65 has a parallel plate portion 69 at its base end that is parallel to the protruding direction, and has a pair of inclined surfaces that are continuous with the parallel plate portion 69 and serve as guide surfaces that are inclined in the thickness direction of the opening/closing body 11. The protrusion 65 has a generally pentagonal shape and an isosceles triangular entry plate portion 71 that has a pair of inclined surfaces at its tip, which serve as a guide when the protrusion 65 is inserted into the recess 93.
The one frame body 47 is provided with a ruler edge 73 extending along the surface 51 and protruding beyond the opposing surface 53, and the ruler edge 73 and one parallel plate portion 69 of the protrusion 65 form a fitting recess 99,
The other frame 77 is formed with a fitting protrusion 105 consisting of one side edge 101 and a front side edge 103 of the recess 93.
The spacing width W1 of the mating recess 99 and the thickness width W2 of the mating protrusion 105 are formed to be approximately the same width, and when the protrusion 65 and the recess 93 are mated, the frame body 47 and the other frame body 77 abut and adhere to each other with their opposing surfaces 53, 83, thereby forming a mating portion 97.

In this structure of the opening and closing body, when the frame body 47 of the opening and closing body 11 approaches the other opposing frame body 77 during closing of the opening and closing body 11, the convex portion 65 provided on the frame body 47 fits into the concave portion 93 provided on the other frame body 77. During this fitting, the guide surface of the convex portion 65 acts as a guide when fitting into the concave portion 93, making the fitting easy. Then, the convex portion 65 fits into the concave portion 93, and the opposing surface 53 of the frame body 47 and the opposing surface 83 of the other frame body 77 come into contact and adhere closely to each other without being misaligned in the thickness direction of the opening and closing body 11, and the frame body 47 and the other frame body 77 form a joint portion 97, and the opening and closing body 11 is closed.

The structure of the opening and closing body according to claim 2 of the present invention is the structure of the opening and closing body according to claim 1,
The other frame body 77 is a body separate from the opening/closing body 11 and is a moving direction end edge of the other opening/closing body 21 which is movable between the pair of guide rails 13 and 15 .

This opening/closing body structure is made up of an opening/closing body 11 and another opening/closing body 21 that is separate from the opening/closing body 11, and is movable between the guide rails 13, 15 to open and close. In other words, the two opening/closing bodies 11, 21 are connected together, and the frame body 47 of the opening/closing body 11 and the frame body 77 of the other opening/closing body 21 form a mating portion 97 with no misalignment.

The structure of an opening-closing body according to claim 3 of the present invention is the structure of an opening-closing body according to claim 1 or 2,
The ruler edge 73 is characterized in that it is formed with a protruding length equal to the protruding length of the convex portion 65 .

In this opening and closing body structure, one of the frame bodies 47 is provided with a ruler edge 73 with a protruding length equivalent to that of the convex portion 65, ensuring safety when the one of the frame bodies 47 is grasped from the opposing surface 53, and when a joint portion 97 is formed, it becomes possible to close the gap between the frame body 47 and the other frame body 77.

The structure of an opening-closing body according to claim 4 of the present invention is the structure of an opening-closing body according to any one of claims 1 to 3,
The one frame body 47 having the protrusion 65 is characterized in that a locking device 57 is provided adjacent to the protrusion 65.

In this opening/closing body structure, the locking device 57 is positioned close to the position where the convex portion 65 and the concave portion 93 fit together, so the deadbolt can be advanced to the correct position when the locking device 57 is operated, making locking failure less likely to occur.

The structure of the opening-closing body according to claim 5 of the present invention is the structure of the opening-closing body according to claim 4,
A strike plate 87 is provided on the other frame body 77 facing the locking device 57, and a deadbolt 63 having a bent tip that protrudes when the locking device 57 is locked engages with a strike hole 89 of the strike plate 87.

In this structure of the opening/closing body, the deadbolt of the locking device 57 is made of a kama-dead bolt 63, which is locked by engaging with the strike hole 89. When the opening/closing body 11 is locked in the closed state, it can respond to vandalism such as prying open, improving crime prevention.

The structure of an opening-closing body according to claim 6 of the present invention is the structure of an opening-closing body according to any one of claims 1 to 5,
The opening/closing body 11 is characterized in that it is a shutter curtain constituting a horizontally sliding shutter 19 whose sliding movement direction is the horizontal direction.

This opening/closing body structure is configured as a horizontally sliding shutter 19, and the shutter curtain 11 as the opening/closing body can slide left and right in the horizontal direction, suppressing shaking of the frame body 47 when the shutter curtain 11 is closed, and allows the closed state to be positioned straight by fitting the convex portion 65 into the concave portion 93.

According to the structure of the opening/closing body described in claim 1 of the present invention, when the opening/closing body is closed, the convex portion has a sloping surface on the entry plate portion, which serves as a guide for sliding contact with one side edge of the recess, and the movement is corrected so that the center lines of the two frames coincide with each other. The convex portion and the recessed portion fit together on the opposing surfaces of the frame body and the other frame body, so that the two frame bodies do not shift in the thickness direction of the opening/closing body, and the two opposing surfaces abut and come into close contact with each other, allowing the opening/closing body to be closed in a state where they are correctly opposed to each other.
The fitting state between the convex portion of the frame body and the concave portion of the other frame body is such that the opposing surfaces are in close contact with each other and there is no misalignment in the thickness direction of the opening and closing body, so that the ruler edge covers the surface of the other frame body, i.e., the inner corner portion formed by the opposing surface of the frame body and the ruler edge overlaps with the protruding corner portion formed by the opposing surface of the other frame body and the surface, and the spacing width of the fitting concave portion formed by the parallel plate portion of the convex portion of the frame body and the ruler edge is formed to be approximately equal to the thickness width of the fitting convex portion of one side edge of the concave portion of the other frame body and the surface side edge, so that the convex portion fits into the concave portion and the fitting convex portion fits into the fitting concave portion, and the opposing surfaces of the frame body and the other frame body are in close contact with each other without any misalignment in the front-to-back direction, forming a joint portion.

According to the structure of the opening/closing body described in claim 2 of the present invention, the frame body and the other frame body are fitted with a convex portion and a concave portion on the opposing surfaces of the opening/closing body and between the opening/closing body and the other opening/closing body, so that the two frames do not shift and the opposing surfaces come into contact and are tightly attached to each other, and both opening/closing bodies can be closed in a correctly opposing state.

According to the structure of the opening and closing body described in claim 3 of the present invention, by providing a ruler edge, the convex part protruding from the opposing surface can ensure safety compared to a configuration in which only the convex part protrudes. In addition, this ruler edge makes it possible to block the gap between the frame body and another frame body from the perpendicular direction, which is the side of the surface with the ruler edge, and the convex part located between these frame bodies is hidden and made difficult to see.

According to the structure of the opening and closing body described in claim 4 of the present invention, the locking device is disposed adjacent to the convex portion, so that the locking device is disposed adjacent to the position where the opposing surfaces, which are the position where the convex portion and the concave portion fit together, are in close contact with each other without misalignment in the thickness direction of the opening and closing body, allowing the deadbolt to move forward and backward from the locking device to operate correctly and preventing locking failures, etc.

According to the structure of the opening and closing body described in claim 5 of the present invention, the deadbolt of the locking device is made of a kamade, and is configured to lock by engaging with the strike hole, so that when the opening and closing body is locked in the closed state, it can respond to destructive acts such as prying open, improving crime prevention.

According to the structure of the opening and closing body described in claim 6 of the present invention, the shutter curtain as the opening and closing body is configured as a horizontally sliding shutter, and can slide left and right in the lateral direction. This suppresses the shaking of the frame body when the shutter curtain is closed, and allows the positioning of the closed state to be performed straight by fitting the convex portion and the concave portion together.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
The structure of the opening/closing body of the present invention is a shutter curtain 11 (21) as the opening/closing body, and will be described as an example of a horizontally sliding shutter 19 in which this shutter curtain 11 (21) slides laterally left and right between a pair of upper and lower guide rails 13, 15 to open and close the opening 17.

As shown in Figure 1, the horizontal sliding shutter 19 is used in a building 25, such as a small store, and half of the store 25 (the right half in Figure 1) is configured as an opening 17. This opening 17 is closed by two shutter curtains 11, 21, and these shutter curtains 11, 21 are stored in a storage section 23 located in the remaining half (the left half in Figure 1) on the side of the opening 17 in an overlapping state, leaving the opening 17 open.

The horizontal sliding shutter 19 is generally composed of a pair of upper and lower guide rails 13, 15, two shutter curtains 11, 21 as an opening/closing body, and a storage section 23.
The guide rails 13, 15 are arranged facing each other, parallel to each other, and approximately horizontal at the upper and lower edges. These guide rails 13, 15 are curved in a roughly C-shape in plan view. Each guide rail 13, 15 is formed in a roughly U-shape in cross section, and the opposing grooves support the upper and lower edges of the shutter curtains 11, 21 and guide their movement.

As described above, the shutter curtain as an opening/closing body in this embodiment is composed of two pieces, a so-called connected first shutter curtain 11 as one opening/closing body and a second shutter curtain 21 as the other opening/closing body, and they are movable between the same guide rails 13, 15 in the opening 17. In this embodiment, when the opening 17 is closed by these first and second shutter curtains 11, 21, the second shutter curtain 21 is positioned between the leading edge in the closing direction, which is the moving direction edge of the first shutter curtain 11, and the side edge 27 of the opening 17, and the leading edge in the closing direction, which is the moving direction edge of the second shutter curtain 21, abuts against the side edge 27 of the opening, and the trailing end of the second shutter curtain 21 abuts against the leading edge in the closing direction, which is the moving direction edge of the first shutter curtain 11.

The first and second shutter curtains 11, 21 have a substantially identical configuration, and as shown in Figures 2 and 3, each comprises a plurality of slats 29, a guide roller 33, and a support roller 43. One frame body that forms the edge of the movement direction of each shutter curtain is a vertical frame 47 that is connected to the slat, and the frame body that forms the rear end of the second shutter curtain 21 is the other frame body, which is a receiving vertical frame 77.

Each slat 29 is made of metal, such as a steel plate or aluminum profile, and is formed into a generally straight, long, rectangular plate shape in the vertical direction perpendicular to the left-right horizontal direction that is the direction of opening and closing movement. The slats are connected to each other by connecting parts 31 formed on each long side that forms the left and right side edges along the longitudinal direction.

The connecting portion 31 is configured to connect adjacent slats 29 by, for example, sliding them relatively in the longitudinal direction. The connecting portion 31 is made of a connecting curl portion with a roughly C-shaped cross section formed on the long side of each slat 29, and the slats 29 are connected to each other by these connecting curl portions; that is, one connecting curl portion formed on one slat 29 engages with the other connecting curl portion formed on the other slat 29 inside, and they are connected to each other, and each connecting curl portion can swing relatively within a predetermined angle range around a rotation axis along the long side direction. In addition, by connecting the slats 29 to each other by the connecting curl portions, they cannot be disengaged in a direction perpendicular to the long side direction (the opening/closing movement direction).

Although not shown, each slat 29 is arranged so that the connecting curl portions on both sides are eccentrically positioned on the back side, which is one side of the thickness of the slat 29, that is, the left and right side edges extend to the back side of the flat front surface 35, which is the other side, and the connecting curl portions are located on the end edges of the left and right side edges. Here, the front surface 35 side constitutes the so-called outdoor 37 side of the building 25 and may be a plate surface with a design, and the back surface side is the indoor 39 side. When the slats 29 are connected, the surfaces of the slats 29 are arranged in parallel via the connecting portions that form V-shaped grooves, and the connecting curl portions of each connecting portion 31 are not exposed, and the connecting curl portions of each connecting portion protrude from the back surface side.

As shown in Figures 2(a) and 3(b), the guide rollers 33 are disposed via support parts 41 on both upper and lower end edges of every other slat 29 that constitutes the shutter curtains 11, 21. The support parts 41 are formed in a rectangular plate shape, and an attachment plate is extended from one side edge, forming a roughly L-shape. The attachment plate is fixed to the back side of the upper and lower ends, which are both ends of the slats 29 in the longitudinal direction, using fixing means such as rivets or screws.

The fixed support parts 41 are located at both longitudinal ends of the connecting parts 31 between the slats 29, and the vicinity of both ends of the plate surface are in abutment with both connecting curl parts of the slats 29, supporting the engaged and connected state of the connecting curl parts and preventing the connecting parts 31 from sliding relative to each other in the longitudinal direction, i.e. preventing them from coming loose.

The guide rollers 33 are rotatably mounted on a pair of support shafts that are vertically arranged near both longitudinal ends of the underside of the support portion 41. The guide rollers 33 are configured so that their outer diameter is larger than the thickness of the slats 29, and are arranged on the slats 29 with approximately equal protruding lengths from the front and back surfaces of the slats 29. The slats 29 are supported and guided in the front and back surfaces by the guide rollers 33 within the grooves of the guide rails 13 and 15.

The center of oscillation of the connecting parts 31 that connect each slat 29 is on the back side of the slat 29 with respect to the center of rotation of each guide roller 33, and is not aligned with the center line of the guide rails 13, 15.

The support rollers 43 are rotatably mounted on a horizontal support shaft on a substantially rectangular plate-shaped bracket 45, and are arranged alternately with the guide rollers 33 and support rollers 43 at the lower ends of the slats 29 located between the slats 29 on which the guide rollers 33 are provided, i.e., at the lower edge of the shutter curtain 11, 21 when the shutter curtain is constructed.

The support rollers 43 and guide rollers 33 are arranged with their axes perpendicular to each other, and when the shutter curtains 11, 21 are positioned between a pair of upper and lower guide rails 13, 15 arranged at the upper and lower edges of the building opening, the support rollers 43 roll within the lower guide rail 15 to support the shutter curtains 11, 21 and guide their movement, and the guide rollers 33 abut and roll against the inner surfaces of the grooves of the upper and lower guide rails 13, 15 when the shutter curtains 11, 21 move, guiding their movement within each guide rail 13, 15. As shown in FIG. 2, each guide roller 33 is raised above the bottom surface of the guide rail by the support rollers 43. Furthermore, the guide rollers 33 and support rollers 43 do not have to be arranged every other one as described above, and may be arranged at any position.

The vertical frame 47 is a frame that forms the edge of the shutter curtains 11, 21 in the moving direction, and as shown in Figures 2(a) and (b), has a roughly U-shaped or roughly rectangular cross section that differs from the shape of the slats 29 described above, and is elongated vertically like the slats 29. It is connected to the slats 29 via a connecting curl section 49 that has a roughly C-shaped cross section similar to that of the slats 29, and is provided with guide rollers 33 at both the upper and lower end edges, just like the slats described above.

The vertical frame 47 has a smooth surface 51 aligned with the surface 35 of the slat 29, and also has an opposing surface 53 which is a flat surface perpendicular to this surface, and faces a receiving vertical frame 77 which will be described later.
A groove-shaped handle portion 55 is disposed on a surface 51 located approximately in the center of the longitudinal direction of the vertical frame 47. A locking device 57 is provided on the vertical frame 47 near the handle portion 55, or below the handle portion 55 in this embodiment.

The locking device 57 is a so-called cylinder lock, with a keyhole 59 on one side and a thumb turn 61 on the other side. In this embodiment, as shown in FIG. 4(b), the keyhole 59 is exposed on the surface 51 of the vertical frame 47, e.g., the outdoor surface, and the thumb turn 61 is located on the back surface of the vertical frame 47, e.g., the indoor surface. In this embodiment, the locking device 57 is a deadbolt, and the deadbolt that protrudes from the opposing surface 53 of the vertical frame 47 when locked is a deadbolt 63 with a bent tip.

2 and 5(a), a convex portion 65 is provided on the opposing surface 53 between the handle portion 55 of the vertical frame 47 and the locking device 57, for example, at the midpoint of the vertical frame 47 in the longitudinal direction. The convex portion 65 in this embodiment is an approximately L-shaped member with a vertical mounting plate portion 67 as a base and the convex portion 65 protruding horizontally from the lower edge of the mounting plate portion 67. The mounting plate portion 67 is fixed to the opposing surface 53 of the vertical frame 47 by means of screws, rivets, welding, or the like, and the convex portion 65 protrudes horizontally from the opposing surface 53. The convex portion 65 is approximately pentagonal in shape and has a parallel plate portion 69 parallel to the protruding direction at the base end on the mounting plate portion 67 side and an isosceles triangular entry plate portion 71 with a pair of slopes from the tip, and in this embodiment, the tip of the convex portion 65 has an R portion. The center line CL (see FIG. 5(a)) in plan view along the protruding direction passing through the tip of this convex portion 65 is configured to overlap with the center line DL in the forward and backward direction of the cam-det 63 in plan view of the locking device 57 (see FIG. 2(b)).

The vertical frame 47 is also provided with a ruler edge 73 that is continuous with the surface 51, extends along the surface 51, and protrudes beyond the opposing surface 53. The ruler edge 73 is formed by hemming when forming the shape of the vertical frame 47; that is, the ruler edge 73 is obtained by folding back the edge portion of the plate material that is the material of the vertical frame 47 by 180 degrees and flattening it. The folded-back tip edge 75 of the ruler edge 73 forms a curved surface. The length that the ruler edge 73 protrudes from the opposing surface 53 is equal to the length that the convex portion 65 protrudes from the vertical frame 47, forming the tip edge of the vertical frame 47.

In this embodiment, the locking device 57 and protrusion 65 are provided on each of the vertical frames 47 of the two shutter curtains 11 and 21.

Next, the receiving side vertical frame 77 is the other frame body that is connected to the rear end of the second shutter curtain 21 as described above, and as shown in Figures 3 (a) and (b), like the vertical frame 47 described above, it has a substantially U-shaped or substantially rectangular cross section that is different from the shape of the slat 29 and is elongated vertically like the slat 29, and is connected to the slat 29 with a connecting curl portion 79 that has a substantially C-shaped cross section like the slat 29, and like the slat 29, guide rollers 33 are provided at both the upper and lower end edges.

This receiving side vertical frame 77, like the vertical frame 47 described above, has a smooth surface 81 aligned with the surface 35 of the slat 29, and also has an opposing surface 83 that is a plane perpendicular to this surface 81 and faces the opposing surface 53 of the vertical frame 47.

A groove-shaped handle 85 is provided on the surface 81 of the receiving vertical frame 77, located approximately in the center of the longitudinal direction. This handle 85 is located at the same height as the handle 55 of the vertical frame 47. A strike plate 87 is provided on the receiving vertical frame 77, on the opposing surface at the bottom of the handle 85, in a position facing the locking device 57. The strike plate 87 has a strike hole 89 in the approximate center, allowing the kama-ded 63 of the locking device 57 to move forward and backward, and a bulge 91 is formed on the back surface on the upper edge side of the strike hole 89 against which the tip of the kama-ded 63 abuts.

A recess 93 is provided between the handle portion 85 and the strike plate 87 on the opposing surface 83 of the receiving side vertical frame 77. In this embodiment, this recess 93 is formed as a groove cut horizontally from the back side edge portion 95 of the opposing surface 83. The shape of this recess 93 may also be configured as a hole penetrating the opposing surface 83.

The recess 93 corresponds to the protrusion 65 protruding from the opposing surface 53 of the vertical frame 47, and this protrusion 65 fits into it. When the protrusion 65 fits into the recess 93, the opposing surfaces 53, 83 of the vertical frame 47 and the receiving vertical frame 77 come into contact with each other, resulting in a tight fit as shown in Figure 5 (b). The vertical frame 47 and the receiving vertical frame 77 then form a joint 97.

The fitting state between the convex portion 65 of the vertical frame 47 and the concave portion 93 of the receiving vertical frame 77 is configured so that the opposing surfaces 53, 83 are in close contact with each other and so that there is no misalignment in the thickness direction of the shutter curtains 11, 21. In this embodiment, as shown in Figures 5(a) and (b), the ruler edge 73 covers the surface 81 of the receiving vertical frame 77. In other words, the inner corner portion is formed by the opposing surface 53 of the vertical frame 47 and the ruler edge 73, and the outer corner portion is formed by the opposing surface 83 of the receiving vertical frame 77 and the surface 81. By forming the gap width W1 of the fitting recess 99 formed by the parallel plate portion 69 of the protrusion 65 of the vertical frame 47 and the ruler edge 73 and the thickness width W2 of the fitting protrusion 105 of one side edge 101 and front side edge 103 of the recess 93 of the receiving vertical frame 77 to be approximately equal, the protrusion 65 fits into the recess 93, and the fitting protrusion 105 fits into the fitting recess 99, so that the vertical frame 47 and the receiving vertical frame 77 do not shift in the front-back direction, and the opposing surfaces 53, 83 come into close contact with each other to form the mating portion 97.

In addition, in this embodiment, the configuration of the side edge 27 of the opening 17 against which the vertical frame (not shown) of the second shutter curtain 21 abuts when closed is the same as the receiving vertical frame 77 of the second shutter curtain 21. That is, a recess and a strike plate are provided in the immovable frame body, which is the building structure that forms the side edge of the opening 17. When the second shutter curtain 21 is closed, these recesses and strike plates correspond to the protrusions and locking devices arranged on the vertical frame of the second shutter curtain 21, respectively, and the building side frame body and the vertical frame form a mating part. That is, in this embodiment, the two shutter curtains 11, 21 are connected to each other, and the opening 17 can be closed and locked in a state where they are continuous from the side edge 27 of the opening of the building structure.

With the structure of the opening and closing body configured in this way, the shutter curtains 11, 21 are pulled out from the storage section 23 by placing hands on the handles 55, 85 and sliding between the upper and lower guide rails 13, 15 in the direction of closing the building opening 17. In this embodiment, the second shutter curtain 21, which is the first of the two shutter curtains, is pulled out first, followed by the first shutter curtain 11, which is the second of the two shutter curtains, to close the opening 17 between the upper and lower guide rails 13, 15.

The vertical frame of the second shutter curtain 21 that is unrolled first faces the frame body that is the side edge of the building opening. Also, the vertical frame 47 of the first shutter curtain 11 that is unrolled after the second shutter curtain 21 faces the receiving vertical frame 77 of the second shutter curtain 21, as shown in FIG. 6.

In the first shutter curtain 11 and the second shutter curtain 21, when the vertical frame 47 approaches the receiving vertical frame 77, the slope of the convex portion 65 acts as a guide for the convex portion 65 of the vertical frame 47 to enter the concave portion 93 of the receiving vertical frame 77. At the same time, the ruler edge 73 covers the surface 81 of the receiving vertical frame 77. Since the ruler edge 73 is formed with the same protruding length as the convex portion 65, the convex portion 65 protruding from the opposing surface 53 is hidden and made difficult to see from the surface side having the ruler edge 73, and safety of contact is ensured more than when only the convex portion 65 protrudes.

When the protrusion 65 enters the recess 93, the opposing surfaces 53, 83 of the receiving side vertical frame 77 and the vertical frame 47 come into contact and are in close contact with each other, as shown in Fig. 7. As a result, the vertical frame 47 and the receiving side vertical frame 77 form a mating portion 97, and the strike plate 87 and the kama-detachment 63 of the locking device 57 are positioned in the front position. In particular, by setting the arrangement position of the locking device 57 close to the position where the protrusion 65 and the recess 93 are fitted together, the misalignment of the vertical frame 47 and the receiving side vertical frame 77 caused by the protrusion 65 and the recess 93 is suppressed, and the kama-detachment 63 and the strike plate 87 face each other correctly, and there is no hindrance to the entry into the strike hole 89.
The door is locked by operating the locking device 57, i.e., by operating the master key or the thumb turn 61 to project the door frame 63. When the door frame is locked, the ruler edge 73 covers the gap between the vertical frame 47 and the receiving vertical frame 77, eliminating any gap in the front-back direction and hiding the door frame portion.

Although not shown, between the second shutter curtain 21 and the building opening side edge 27, the vertical frame approaches the frame of the building opening, and the convex part of the vertical frame enters the concave part of the frame with the slope of the convex part as a guide. At the same time, the ruler edge covers the surface of the frame.
When the protrusion is inserted into the recess, the opposing surfaces of the frame and the vertical stile come into contact and are tightly attached to each other. This causes the vertical stile and the frame to form a mating part, and the strike plate and the kamadate of the locking device are in the front position.
The door is locked by operating the locking device, i.e., by operating a master key or a thumb turn to protrude the door.

Here, the first shutter curtain 11 and the second shutter curtain 21 are configured to be supported by guide rollers 33 between the upper and lower guide rails 13, 15, and the guide rollers 33 rolling within these guide rails 13, 15 do not simultaneously come into contact with each of the opposing inner surfaces of the guide rails 13, 15, but are free to move with a clearance (play) in the thickness direction, which is the front-to-back direction, respectively. As a result, both shutter curtains 11, 21 may wobble in the groove width direction, that is, the front-to-back direction of the shutter curtains 11, 21, and there is a risk that the receiving side vertical frame 77 and the vertical frame 47 will not move in a coincident position, for example on the centre line of the guide rail, and the opposing surfaces 53, 83 will not accurately abut and adhere to each other. In addition, each slat 29, vertical frame 47, and receiving vertical frame 77 of the shutter curtains 11 and 21 are long members in the vertical direction, and when the operator grasps and slides them during opening and closing operations, or presses them down to reduce the play, they may bend or warp, causing them to not move straight.

As shown in Figure 8 (a), for example, if an operator presses the receiving side vertical frame 77 from the outside, causing this receiving side vertical frame 77 to shift inward due to the play between it and the guide rails 13, 15, or the receiving side vertical frame 77 is bent by pressing it, or the vertical frame 47 side is shifted toward the outside by the amount of play, and then the locking device 57 side of the vertical frame 47 is moved closer to be aligned, the center line EL into which the convex portion 65 in the recess 93 should enter will not match the center line CL of the convex portion 65, and an eccentricity difference D1 will be generated between one side edge 101 of the recess 93 and the center line CL of the convex portion 65, as shown in Figure 8 (b).
In the present invention, the protrusion 65 has a slope of the entry plate 71, which serves as a guide for sliding contact with one side edge 101 of the recess 93, correcting the movement so that the center lines CL and EL coincide with each other, and guiding the opposing surfaces 53 and 83 to come into contact with each other while eliminating the misalignment in the thickness direction. Then, as shown in Fig. 5(b), the opposing surfaces 53 and 83 come into contact and are tightly attached. The locking operation is then performed.

Furthermore, as shown in Figure 9(a), the receiving side vertical frame 77 tilts within the guide rails 13, 15 as if it were rotating about its longitudinal axis, causing the opposing surface 83 to face the indoor side, and as described above, the receiving side vertical frame 77 is pressed from the outdoor side and becomes eccentric. Also, in this state where the vertical frame 47 side is misaligned by an amount of play toward the outdoor side, when the locking device 57 side of the vertical frame 47 is moved closer to be aligned, the center line EL into which the convex portion 65 in the recess 93 should enter and the center line CL of the convex portion 65 will be inclined, resulting in an eccentricity difference D2 as shown in Figure 9(b).
In the present invention, as in the above, the protrusion 65 has a slope of the entry plate 71, which serves as a guide for sliding contact with one side edge 101 of the recess 93, and the movement is corrected so that the center lines CL and EL coincide with each other, and the opposing surfaces 53 and 83 are guided to abut against each other while eliminating any misalignment in the thickness direction. Then, as shown in Fig. 5(b), the opposing surfaces 53 and 83 abut and come into close contact. The locking operation is then performed.

Furthermore, as shown in Figure 10 (a), for example, if an operator presses the vertical frame 47 from the outside, causing this vertical frame 47 to shift towards the inside and the receiving vertical frame 77 to shift towards the outside, and then moves the vertical frame 47 closer to align the locking device 57 side, the ruler edge 73 will abut against the opposing surface 83 of the receiving vertical frame 77, and the center line CL into which the convex portion 65 in the recess 93 should enter will not match the center line EL of the convex portion 65, resulting in an eccentricity difference D3.
In this case, since the tip edge 75 of the ruler edge 73 is curved, it slides on the opposing surface 83 of the receiving vertical frame 77, and since the vertical frame 47 itself has a degree of freedom of vibration in the thickness direction within the range of the width of the guide rails 13 and 15, and further, since the ruler edge 73 is continuous in the longitudinal direction, it is not possible for the opposing surfaces to be in exactly the same state along the longitudinal direction due to distortion, warping, or bending, so that the movement is corrected so that the opposing surface 83 side (fitting convex portion 105) of the receiving vertical frame 77 enters between the ruler edge 73 and the convex portion 65 (fitting concave portion 99). As a result, the opposing surfaces 53 and 83 are guided to abut against each other. Then, as shown in FIG. 5(b), the two opposing surfaces 53 and 83 abut against each other and come into close contact with each other, eliminating the misalignment in the thickness direction. After that, the locking operation is performed.

At the side edge 27 of the building opening 17, the frame body side is fixed and does not shake as described above, but when the vertical frame of the second shutter curtain 21 approaches and abuts against this frame body, there is a risk that the vertical frame may shake in the same way as described above. In this case, as described above, when the convex portion on the vertical frame fits into the concave portion of the frame body, the vertical frame side is guided by the slope of the entry plate portion of the convex portion, and the abutment surface of the vertical frame faces the abutment surface of the frame body, so that the opposing surfaces of the vertical frame and the frame body are in close contact with each other, making it possible to perform the locking operation.

Therefore, according to the structure of the opening and closing body, when the shutter curtains 11, 21 are closed, the opposing surfaces 53, 83 of the vertical frame 47 and the receiving vertical frame 77 of the shutter curtains 11, 21 come into contact and are in close contact with each other as the convex portion 65 of the vertical frame 47 fits into the concave portion 93 of the receiving vertical frame 77. At this time, even if the opposing surfaces 53, 83 of the vertical frame 47 and the receiving vertical frame 77 do not face each other straight, and the vertical frame 47 and the receiving vertical frame 77 are misaligned, shaken, bent, or warped, they are guided into the concave portion 93 by the slope of the convex portion 65, and the mutual engagement is guided, the convex portion 65 can enter the concave portion 93, and the opposing surfaces 53, 83 come into contact and are in close contact with each other correctly, eliminating any misalignment in the thickness direction. As a result, the vertical frame 47 and the receiving vertical frame 77 form the mating portion 97, and the locking device 57's cam deadbolt 63 can enter straight into the strike plate 87, ensuring reliable locking when the shutter curtain is closed without causing locking failure.

In the above embodiment, the opening and closing body is described as shutter curtains 11, 21 composed of slats 29, but it may be a panel curtain composed of panels, or a grill curtain composed of pipe material. Also, the configuration as a horizontally sliding shutter with the opening and closing direction being the horizontal direction has been described, but the same effect can be obtained with a lift-up type shutter device in which the opening and closing body moves up and down to open and close, or a horizontally sliding shutter device that moves horizontally. Furthermore, by adopting a similar configuration to the above for opening and closing bodies other than shutters, such as sliding doors and gates, it is possible to ensure that the closed state is performed correctly.
