農業真菌の不活性化に対する窒化ケイ素の影響を示すために、Cabernet Sauvignon葉をPlasmopara viticolaに3×104胞子嚢/mLの濃度で感染させた。処理したPlasmopara viticolaを1.5体積%の窒化ケイ素のスラリーに1分間曝露した。

- 植物病原体を不活性化する方法であって、
1体積%~30体積%の濃度のマイクロメーターサイズ窒化ケイ素粒子と水とのスラリーを含む組成物を前記植物病原体と接触させることを含み、
前記植物病原体がPlasmopara viticolaを含む、
前記方法。 - 前記組成物を植物の表面上に噴霧して、前記植物病原体と接触させることをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記植物病原体が前記植物内上の位置で処置または予防される、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記窒化ケイ素が前記植物病原体を不活性化する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記植物がCabernet SauvignonまたはCannonauを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記組成物が前記植物病原体と少なくとも1分間接触する、請求項1に記載の方法。
